August POV
I'm still at Tyla house and we're in the kitchen. I think about what happened last night while we were playing that game,I know I'm not the only one that felt that tension between Ciara and Nicki.
"Tyla,you remember when we were playing that game last night right?" I ask
"Yea" She says
"Did you feel the energy from Ci and Nicki?" I ask
"Yea" She said
"You know what that was about?" I ask
"No" She said trying to hide her smirk
"I know you're lying" I say
"No I'm not" She said
"Tell me" I say
"I can't you have to ask them yourself?" She said
"Why?" I ask
"Cause it's not my place to tell you,I already told Christian and they both didn't want me to tell anybody else" She explains
"It's that serious?" I ask
"Yup" She said
"Nicki still here?" I ask
"Yea" She said
"What about Ci?" I ask
"Yup" She said
"Aight" I say
I get up and go upstairs into the guest room Nicki is in. I see her laying on the bed using her phone.
"Hey nic" I say
"Hey,what's up?" She said
"Nothing" I say
I sit on the bed and take a deep breath.
"Nic,what's going on with you and Ciara?" I ask
"Nothing" She said but I could tell it was something she wasn't telling me
"Come on tell me,we felt that energy last night" I say
"It's complicated" She said
"You can tell me" I say
"Ok" She said
"I like Ci" She says
"We all like Ci,be more detailed" I say
She closes her eyes and take a deep breath.
"I like her more than a friend,I have feelings for her" She said lowly
I stare at her confusingly,did I hear her right
"You what?" I ask
"I have feelings for Ciara" She said again
"Wow" I say
"For how long?" I ask
"For about a month,don't tell Amir,Ciara or J'Shawn" She said seriously
"What about the others?" I ask
"I'll tell them soon" She said
"I won't tell nobody" I reassured her
"Ok" She said
I hug her in a promising way.
"You guys would be cute together though" I say
"I guess" She chuckles
Ciara POV
I'm in the backyard sitting by the pool meditating with soft music. I feel a tap on my shoulder and I look up to see August.
"Hey" He said as he sat down next to me
"Hey" I say as I take one of the headphones out
"I want to talk to you about something" He said
"Ok" I say
"We all felt the energy between you and Nicki" He Said
Crap!
"It was nothing" I lie
That energy was so strong I'm sure the whole house felt it.
"We all felt that,it was strong" He chuckled
"It's complicated" I say
"Tell me" He said
"Why you want to know?" I ask
"You guys have had multiple moments like this,I was gonna ask someday" He said
"Idk" I say
I haven't fully explained to Tyla or Christian about how I feel in almost a week,I'm worried I might tell all to him and I'm not ready yet to tell him everything.
"I won't tell nobody" He said
"Alright" I say softly
August helps me up and we go inside where Tyla is. I see her standing behind the kitchen counter smirking.
"So you told him?" She asked
"Yea" I sigh
"You still don't know how you feel?" She asked
"No" I answer
"Maybe you should spend time with her without us" Tyla suggests
"She's right" August says
"Alright" I say and go upstairs to the room she's in
I knock on the door and she says to come in. I open the door and I see her laying on the bed looking at TV,even though she has no make up on and her hair is all over the place she still looks beautiful.
"Hey" I smile
"Hey" She said
I walk in and close the door behind me,I walk over to the bed and sit down on it.
"What are you doing today?" I ask
"Nothing" She said
"Wanna go to the movies?" I ask
"Ok,what we gon see?" She asked
"Dope" I reply
"Ok,what time?" She asked
"6" I say
"Ok,everyone else coming or just us?" She asked
"Just us" I answer
"Ok" She said
I give her a small smile and leave out the room. I go downstairs where August and Tyla is and I slightly smile.
"She said yea" I say
"When?" Tyla asked
"At 6" I reply
"What y'all gon do?" Tyla asked
"Going to see Dope" I said
"That's good" Tyla said
"Yea" I sigh
I pray this goes well.
A few hours later I'm at home getting ready to go to the movies with Nicki. I spray a little perfume and curl my hair. I look at my appearance in the mirror and grab my keys and purse and go out to my car. I drive over to her house and park outside,I send her a text saying I was outside and I turn on the radio. A few seconds later she walks out and my breath gets caught in my throat,she has on a black fitted skirt,a baby blue shirt,gold accessories,black heels,and her hair was curled.
"Hey" She said as she got in
"Hey,you look cute" I say
"Thanks,so do you" She said
I had on a pair of denim shorts,a lavender silk shirt,silver accessories,and black heels.
"Thanks" I say
"You wanna eat before the movies or there?" I ask
"We can eat before" She said
I drive to the nearest restaurant,on the way there me and Nicki's favorite song come on,Lost In Ya Love by Chris Brown.
Nicki turns it up and starts dancing around.

"Her fragrance turns me on, her skin's so soft, oh

A few minutes later we pulled up to the restaurant,Red Lobsters.
"Really Red Lobsters?" She asked
"It was the closest" I say
"Mhhmm the job I quit is the closest" She said
"It was" I chuckle
"I know" She laughed
We go inside and ask the hostess for a table,she directs us to a table in the back and gives us 2 menus.
"What you gon order?" Nicki asked
"Probably shrimp pasta" I say
"Yea" She agreed
The waiter comes over to us and places a basket of biscuits on the table.
"Hi my name is Anthony and I will be your waiter today,are you guys ready to order?" He asked
"Yea I'll take the shrimp pasta and a coke" I say
"You ma'am?" He asked Nicki
"Same but I want a sprite" She said
"Ok,I'll be back with your food soon" He said and walked away
"So what made you wanna have a us day?" She asked
"I feel like we're drifting apart,so I thought this was a good idea" I say
"Why do you think that?" She asked
"Cause we're not talking like we used to,it's this awkward tension half the time for some reason,and we don't have those late night talks anymore" I say
"Aww I'm sorry" She said
"Don't apologize cause it's my fault too" I say
The waiter comes back with our food and drinks.
"Anything else?" He asked
"No thank you" I say
"If you ladies need anything let me know" He said and walked away
We say our grace and start eating. We have good conversations and take pictures the whole time. When the waiter comes back we get the bill and split it. We walk to my car and drive to the movie theatre. When we get there we buy the tickets,buy some candy and go to the right movie.
"This bout to be lit" Nicki said
Throughout the movie we share laughs and just enjoy each other's company. When the movie's over we drive back to her house,the ride there was cool and comfortable. I park outside her house and give her a small smile.
"Alright bye Ci" She said hugging me
"Bye" I say
"This was fun and I think it put us back on track" She smiled
"Yea" I agreed
"Let me know when you get home" She said getting out the car
"Ok" I say
I wait for her to get on then I pull off. When I get home I go upstairs into my bedroom and see J'Shawn sitting on the bed.
"Hey babe" He said
"Hey" I say
I send Nicki a text saying that I was home and go into the bathroom to take a shower. When I get out I lotion up my body and put on my bra and underwear,I go in my drawer and pull out a pair of shorts and a T-Shirt.
"Y'all had fun?" He asked as I laid on the bed
"Yea,it was good" I smile
"Was the movie good?" He asked as he laid down next to me
"Yea it was funny,y'all gonna enjoy it" I say
"I'm glad you enjoyed it" He said and kissed me
It's certain moments like this when I feel guilty but I can't deny the way I feel about Nicki.
"What you wanna do?" He asked
"Nothing,this is fine" I say
We talk for a few hours and watch TV. I awake in the middle of the night to my phone ringing,I quickly answer it before it wakes J'Shawn.
"Hello?" I ask
"Hey" I hear Nicki say
"Hey are you okay?" I ask
"I'm fine I just thought we could have one of our talks" She said
I talk to Nicki for a few hours about whatever comes to our minds. At this moment I realize how I feel about her. She makes me happy,she makes my heart beat faster,I think about her nonstop,I crave her presence,and her touch. I hear light snoring and I chuckle to myself a little.
"Nicki are you sleep?" I ask
"A little" She chuckled
"Me too" I say
It's at this moment that I realize I adore her.
