Running and running towards the third floor. The boys were trying to hurry. Not because of Freddy or the Animatronics alone, but the fact that the hour has nearly passed. And according to Freddy, when that happens, the Moon Animatronic will appear. That is the last thing they needed right now. Of course, another problem will arise.
Jumping from the 2nd floor and landing on hiss feet real hard, the Alligator Animatronic would appear in front of them the moment they were about to get to the stairs. "HEY! LITTLE GUYS! COME HERE!!!"
"CRAP! GUYS MOVE!!!" Neo shouted to the others.
They ran fast as their gator is perusing them relentlessly. They were able to jump over some barriers in order to avoid him and get to the second floor. But that didn't faze Monty. Not one bit. He breaks down many things to get to the boys in the most violent way possible. So much so that even Flynn didn't think he would do that if he wanted to.
"What the hell's his issue?!" Flynn asked.
"I don't know!" Max answered as he ran with the others so quickly.
They were able to get to the second floor and avoided Monty as he was trying to get up there with little to no luck. But the worst was yet to come as the feeling of headaches and static sounds were there. They looked to see the same rabbit figure waving at them and skipping towards them.
"Oh Hell! Come on guys! Move!" Neo said to the others. As tired as they were, they were given a boost of adrenaline thanks to their Fight and Flight response kicking in once more. Although for Stan, it was also a key to triggering his PTSD.
"Employees only...GET OVER HERE!!!" Shouted Chica as she spotted them in the distance on the second floor.
The feeling from the rabbit was getting worse. But they had to shake it off in order to get away from them without passing out. They tried to run pass around them as well as many staff bots coming after them. As they were about to get to the third floor, they heard a scream.
"AAH! NO! LET GO OF ME!!!!"
It was Max. Flynn was able to see that Chica grabbed Max by the leg and was pulling him in. Spotting a chair next to him, he picked it up and rushed towards the chicken robot and hits her head with it, freeing Max in the process. Chica got back up and was furious.
"You want a piece of me you oversized chicken!?!" Flynn taunted.
Chica charged at him at top speed. But Flynn was fast and was able to dodge her in time, causing her to stumble a bit. Chica was able to regain her balance and sees Neo and the others. She decided to chase after them since they were easy. Flynn tried to stop her but she was too fast. And just when she was about to capture one of them...
WHAM!
A figure appeared from the third floor and kicked chick in the had, causing the chicken Animatronic to stumble and fall onto the floor. The other looked at the figure who had just saved them. After getting a closer look, Neo smiled as he knew who it was.
"Alaria!"
"Run!" Alaria shouted as she ran with them. Neo knew it would not be the best time to hug her as they were still getting chased.
Stan stopped for a minute to see something on Chica's back before she got up: It was the same thing he saw on Roxanne; a strange ominous glow with some chip on it. We Roxy not the only one? Were the others infected by this glow as well?
"We need to get out of this area!" Alaria shouted.
"Not yet! We need to get to the third floor and bring Freddy to Parts and service!" Neo protested.
"What?!"
"I'll explain later!"
They ran all together until they made it to the third floor and were running to the booth area where the disk needed to be inserted. Of course, Roxanne Wolf made it difficult for them as she was chasing after them. They were however able to lose her just in time as they made it to the booth. Max was fumbling with the disk out of sheer panic and was not putting it in. Flynn took the disk and inserted it while pressing the button and right on cue, the music started playing, causing the Animatronics to go down to the main floor.
Alaria was amazed by this. "Wow. They just left us alone like that?"
Neo then started to see the rabbit coming after them. "We need to get to the first floor! NOW!"
As tired as they were right now, they had to keep going in order to avoid the hopping manic from getting to them. As they made it to the second floor, Stan's PTSD was triggered immediately. He was also seeing the burned yellow rabbit once again while hearing it laugh.
"You will not last Stan."
"GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" Stan shouted as he held his head with both his hands while moving his head in pain. The dark figure laughed. He was so focus on not letting this darkness from getting to him that he was going the wrong way. Neo had to grab him and pulled him to the first floor with the others. This was enough to drive the figure away for now.
"OH NO YOU DON'T!" Monty shouted as he was coming after them.
Flynn grabbed another chair, a tougher one, and hits it onto the Gator Animatronic, causing Monty to be stunned long enough for the gang to escape.
Stan looked at the back of Monty, expecting another ship of glow on him. But the strangest part was he had none. There was nothing on him. Stan wondered what was going on. But he saw Chica and Roxy coming after them and he had to keep running towards the main stage. And as soon as he did, they pressed the button and they descended down towards Parts and Service.
As they were descending while catching their breath, Neo rushed over to Alaria and hugged her tightly, while she hugged back in response.
"Alaria! You're ok! I'm so glad!" Neo said.
"I'm glad to see you too!" Alaria smiled. She lets go and looked at them. "Where's the others?"
"Still no luck." Flynn responded.
Alaria sighed before she looked at Freddy and nearly jumped out of fear before Max stopped her. "NO! He's a friend! He's helping us!"
"He is?" Alaria asked in confusion.
"Yeah. Don't worry." Flynn reassured her.
"Where were you at?" Neo asked.
"From the cupcake wing. Unfortunately I was trapped in a bathroom with Krystal until those endos caused us to separate." Alaria explained.
"So....Krystal."
"She alive. I don't know where but I know she's ok."
As Alaria was starting to relax, she notice Stan taking another dosage of his meds. She started to get worried about how much was left now. She walked over to him as he started to twitch a little bit. Even Neo saw this and was worried. "Stan?"
"How much did you take?" Alaria asked.
Stan responded quietly. "He won't leave me alone...that burnt yellow broken rabbit...he's messing with me."
"Burnt yellow rabbit?" Max asked.
"HE'S IN MY HEAD! HE KNOWS ABOUT 3 YEARS AGO! HE KEEPS MESSING MY HEAD!!! I CAN'T TAKE IT!!! HE WANTS ME TO CHEAT DEATH! I...I..." Stan snapped back at the others.
They were taken aback by this sudden reaction. They knew Stan would have an outburst. But this was completely out of the ordinary when he informed them about this burnt rabbit. Freddy heard them and was thinking about what he said. The yellow rabbit he mentioned made him think deeply. What did he mean? Was he talking about someone he knew?
All of a sudden, the lights vanished. Everyone was surprised by this and Max asked, knowing full well what this means. "What time is it?"
"It is nearly 2! Quickly! To the charging station!" Freddy urged them the moment the elevator platform stopped.
They ran down the hall way, with Neo and Alaria carrying Stan to help him recover. But as they were close, Freddy collapses onto the floor. Max made it last right before the door closed. He rushed to the window part of the door only to see the Moon Animatronic there dragging Freddy. He looked at Max and waves before taking him away.
"NO! FREDDY!" Max banged on the door trying to get out. He was locked inside with the others until the lights turned back on. After they were, Max ran out and looked around to find him. He saw the door that had just closed and rushed towards the door. He was denied by the security system, informing him he needed a badge for clearance. "No...Freddy." Max fell to the ground, shedding a tear.
Everyone was saddened by this. Even Alaria. Freddy didn't deserve this kind of fate. They had to get him out. But for this, they need a badge. And they know full well what happens if they get it, especially Flynn whom had learned his lesson the last time.
Stan on the others hand was becoming unstable. It was all because of his meds. Even though they helped him fight the PTSD, he unwittingly took too much to keep himself under control and was suffering an overdose. As if it didn't get any worse, a Map Bot appeared and offered him a map, causing Stan to jerk and rip the head off.
"STOP THAT! STOP!!!!" He shouted as he fell to the ground. Everyone heard this and rushed towards him. Alaria was able to get close and helped him up a bit. She had knowledge of biology and medicine which made her vital to the gang, especially when it comes to PTSDs.
"Stan. Take deep breaths. It's gonna be ok." She soothed him.
"No it is not." Stan started to cry. "I wanna go home. I don't wanna be here anymore."
Alaria allowed him to cry on her shoulder before looking at Neo. "This is bad. He cannot keep this up."
Neo thought about it and what he can do to fix it. He knew that Krystal was the only one who can do anything since her telepathy allowed her to sooth anyone's mind, even Stan's. But without her around and her not knowing where she's at, he's at a dead end. And just when all seemed lost, he perked up. "Krystal! She got to me!"
"Where?" Max asked.
"Behind the door where the badge is at over there!" He pointed at the pathway where the badge is at. "She's ok, but we need to hurry. She said that Endos are coming after her and won't last long!"
"Well what are we waiting for? Christmas?" Flynn asked.
Neo got up and looked at the others. "Ok. One of us has to stay here with Stan to help sooth him until we can get Krystal. She's the only one who can help him."
"No...I'm going." Stan protested.
Alaria looked at him. "Stan. You'll suffer a fatal overdose if you go with."
"I Said I'm going!" Stan shouted as he tried to get up but fell to his knees. Everyone was nearly taken aback again, especially seeing him suffering a nosebleed as he continues. "I am not a coward. I'm tired of being pushed around and told what I'm not."
"Stan. You need to calm down. Please. Think about the happiest thing to calm down." Alaria told him.
"How?" Stan asked. "We're not going to make it out of here. We're all dead.... And ..... you think the other kids with this fate made it out 3 years ago? I know they didn't. I was there at the old Pizzeria. I know they died there."
"Well We're not going to die here. Not tonight." Neo stated firmly.
"But Neo. The yellow rabbit. He-"
"Is a pain in the ass!" Neo stood up. "If he wanted you that badly, he could've come to you. Instead, he's just sitting by doing nothing but playing games. He's the real coward! Not you! I promise you this: We will get the others and get the hell out of this place. Who ever this yellow rabbit is, let me give him a piece of my mind. I'll even bash his head for you."
"Can I rip and tear him apart?" Flynn asked.
"You can." Neo responded, leaving Flynn with a yes gesture before Neo continued. "I will get us all out of here. I promise."
Stan looked at his friend. Then all of a sudden, the figure appared in his mind and chuckled. "Stan...it's only a matter of-"
"Coward." Stan said in his mind.
"What?"
"Neo is right. You are a coward. Why don't you face me? Are you scared of a kid like me? It's almost sad. So go ahead. Do your worst. I will not play this game of yours. I'll face you when I find you."
The figure was silent. Stan can tell he was feeling angry by his response. He chuckled. "I'll be waiting." The figure then vanished. Stan immediately felt better after this. Alaria can see this and was relived.
"Stan. You're ok now?"
"Yea. For now." Stan looked at Neo. "Lead the way. I'll do my best to stay calm."
Neo smiled. "You got it. Come on."
