~Bella's POV~
It's been a few days since the Quidditch match and the seven of us are walking through the grounds with Hagrid. We have just told him what we believe Snape did to the broom.
"Nonsense, why would Snape put a curse on Harry's broom?"
"Who knows?" Harry says.
"Why was he trying to get past that dog on Halloween?" I ask.
"Who told you about Fluffy?"
"Fluffy?" I ask.
"That thing has a name?" Hermione asks.
"Well of course he's got a name, he's mine. Bought him off an Irish feller I met down the pub last year. Then I left him to Dumbledore to guard the...."
"Yes!" Harry asks.
"Shouldn't have said that. Don't ask any more questions. That's top secret, that is."
"But Hagrid, whatever Fluffy's guarding, Snape's trying to steal it!" Bam says.
"Codswallop," he says as he stops and faces us. "Professor Snape is a Hogwarts teacher."
"Hogwarts teacher or not, I know a spell when I see one," Hermione says.
"You need to decide what you pay attention to, Hermione," Ron smirks and she gives him a dirty look before she turns back to Hagrid.
"I've read all about them. You have to keep eye contact, and Snape wasn't blinking."
"Now you listen to me... all of you... you're meddling in things that ought not to be meddled in. It's dangerous! What that dog is guarding is strictly between Dumbledore and Nicholas Flamel."
"Nicholas Flamel?" Ryan asks.
"I shouldn't have said that."
He turns and begins walking away.
"I should not have said that."
"Nicholas Flamel," Harry says quietly.
"Whose Nicholas Flamel?" Bam asks.
We all look stumped.
It's coming up to Christmas, it's snowing outside, and most of the students are leaving to go home for Christmas.
When I enter the great hall, Harry and Ron are playing chess while Hollie is watching.
As I sit down, Hermione comes in.
"Knight to E5," Harry says and one of the chess pieces moves.
"Queen to E5," Ron smirks.
His piece moves, picks up her chair and smashes the knight.
"That totally barbaric," Hermione says as Ron grins at his win.
"That's wizard's chess," he says. "I see you've packed."
"I see you haven't," she replies.
"Change of plan... my parents decided to go to Romania to visit my brother Charlie. He's studying dragons there."
"Good, you can help Harry then. He's going to go to the library for information on Nicholas Flamel!"
"Actually, Hermione," I say. "He and Hollie are coming home with me for Christmas."
Both my siblings stare at me in shock.
"What?" Harry asks.
"That's right, I wrote to my parents and they are more than happy to have you both there for Christmas."
"Wow Bella, that's great."
"Oh well, Ron," Hermione says. "Guess you'll be looking alone."
"But we've looked a hundred times," he complains.
"Not in the restricted section," Hermione says. "Happy Christmas."
She grabs her suitcase and leaves.
~Harry's POV~
I am woken on Christmas morning by somebody calling my name so I sit up and put on my glasses.
The door bursts open and Hollie comes in, still in her pyjamas.
"Harry hurry up, don't worry about getting dressed, come and see what's in the living room."
I follow my sister down the stairs and stop in the living room doorway in shock.
The tree is huge and there must be a hundred presents round it and piled beside it.
"Merry Christmas, Harry and Hollie," Charlie says.
"You have twenty four presents, Harry," Renée says.
"One for every Christmas and birthday you didn't get one," I smile.
"Wow, this is... thank you."
After opening my presents which consist of mostly clothes and books, Charlie holds out another one, making my gifts number 25.
The others have all opened their presents.
"This is for all three of you," Charlie says. "It was left by your parents."
Me, Hollie and Bella look at each other.
"You open it, Harry," Hollie says.
I untie the rope and move the wrapping to reveal something made of material so I stand and let it drop.
"What is it?" Hollie asks.
"Some kind of cloak."
"Well let's see it, put it on," Bella says.
I put it round my shoulders and the others look at my in utter shock so I look down.
"My body's gone."
"I know what that is," somebody says but it's not Bella, Hollie, Charlie or Renée so I turn to see two older boys coming into the room.
Bella goes over to the fair haired boy and puts her arms round him.
"I missed you," she says.
He wraps his arms round her like they have a thing but I thought she liked Bam.
"Hollie, Harry, this is Edward Cullen and his brother Emmett."
"Nice to meet you," I say as I hold out my hand but then remember it's not there.
"What happened to my body?" I ask, a little concerned.
"You're wearing an invisibility cloak," Edward tells me.
"I'm invisible?"
I spin round.
"They're really rare," Edward says as he comes over and moves round me looking at my invisible body. "Impressive!"
"Mom, Dad, can I show them the mirror?"
"If you want, sweetheart," Dad says.
"You guys have got to see this."
She drags us upstairs to the attic where a mirror stands from ceiling to floor in the small attic.
When I look into the mirror, I see a woman with dark blonde hair, and a man with dark hair and glasses standing behind our reflections.
"Do you see them too?" Bella asks.
I look round but only see my sisters so I turn back to the mirror.
"Is that James and Lily?" Hollie asks.
"Yes, I have a photo of them, wanna see?"
As she leaves the attic, I move right up to the mirror and place my hand on it. My mother's reflection places her hand on the shoulder of my reflection so I place my hand on my shoulder so in the reflection it looks like my hand is over hers.
~Bella's POV~
"Bella, can I talk to you?" Edward asks after he follows me.
I nod and follow him outside. He sits down on the porch and I sit next to him.
"I got your letter," he says.
I nod.
"I love you too," Edward murmurs.
My eyes widened. "Are you serious?" I ask.
"Yeah," he chuckles.
I scoot over and lay my head on his shoulder. He tenses up like he always did when I'm very close to him.
"Why do you do that?"
"Do what?" he asks and holds my hand.
"Tense up?"
He clears his throat. "It's difficult," he says.
"Oh?"
"You're not going to let this go?" he asks.
"No," I say sharply.
He chuckles.
"Do you mind if I bring Hollie and Harry to your house? I also miss Esme's cooking," I smile.
"Yeah, I think she'll like that," he says.
"I'll go tell them," I say.
He nods. I get up and go inside the house and into the living room. The others are sitting down waiting for me.
"Guys?" They look at me. "We're gonna go to Edward's house so you can meet his family."
They nod, get up and put their coats on. We all pile into Emmett's jeep and he drives to their house in the forest.
"Eddie, you want to go camping tomorrow?" Emmett asks.
"Sure, and stop calling me Eddie!" Edward exclaims.
"Camping?" Harry asks.
"Yeah the Cullens or a few of them go camping every few weeks... like family bonding time," I explain.
"Oh."
We pull into the Cullens long driveway and Emmett shuts off the car. We all get out and I'm immediately tackled by my pixie-like best friend Alice.
"Hi to you too Alice," I laugh.
"Bella, I've missed you so much!" she says.
"Me too Ali," I say before I turn to my siblings. "Alice this is Hollie and this is Harry," I say.
"Hi," they say very shyly.
"Oh, so these are the other two out of the three?" she asks.
"Yes."
"Don't be shy. She's usually like this with everyone... and will soon get quite annoying," Edward says.
I chuckle and they do also.
"Shut up or I'll beat you like I did yesterday," she says.
Edward becomes quiet and then laughs.
"Edward did you bring Bella?" I hear Esme's lovely voice.
"Yes," he mumbles.
"Well, bring her in," she says.
How did she hear him? I follow him inside the house and there stands Carlisle and Esme. I run to them and hug them tightly.
"Well, well the other two. Hi, I'm Esme, the kids adoptive mother and this is Carlisle," she says.
"Wow, you guys look the same except Bella who looks exactly like Lilly," Carlisle smiles.
"You knew our parents?"
They nod.
"Would you like us to tell you about them?" Esme asks.
"Yes," Hollie and Harry gasp.
They chuckle and lead them to the kitchen. I hear a door open and see Jasper and Rosalie walk through the door. Jasper smiles at me as he walks to Alice. Rosalie, on the other hand glares at me and goes upstairs. Edward pulls me to the couch.
"Don't worry about her," Edward says.
"What did I do to her?" I ask.
"Nothing; just ignore her like I do," he says.
I nod. "I think that Hollie and Harry love it here," I smile.
He kisses my hand like the gentleman that he is. "I would to."
We sit down for a little while longer just talking then I hear the door open and Jacob walks in. I get up and hug him.
"Hey, Bells when did you get here?" he asks.
"A few days ago," I say. "What are you doing here?"
"Um, I called Charlie and he said that you'll be here. I couldn't wait until tonight so I decided to come by," Jacob says.
"Okay, well go to the house we'll be back in an hour or two," I assure him.
He nods before getting onto his bike and riding off the property. I go back to Edward and sit down next to him. I'm happy that everyone is getting along with each other and how Harry and Hollie are learning more about our parents like I've learned from Carlisle and Esme for two years.
