Abby Pov:

"Holy shit..." Henry mumbled.
"Eleven" Mike says askthey walk towards eachother.
"Mike." She says as they hug eachother.
Tears starts coming out of their eyes as well.
"Is that..." Max looks at Lucas.
He nod as a response.
"I never gave up on you." Mike spoke as they pull away from the hug.
"I called you every night. Every night for--" She cuts him off.
"353 days." She finishes.
"I heard." She told Mike.
"Why didn't you tell me you were there? That you were okay?" Mike asks.
"Because I wouldn't let her." Hopper interjects.
Wait, what?
Does this mean Hopper knew where she was the whole time?
And he didn't tell us?
"The hell is this? Where you been?" Hopper questions El as he walks towards her.
"Where have you been?" El questions Hopper.
Hopper hugs El.
"You've been hiding her." Mike spoke.
"You've been hiding her this whole time!" Mike pushes Hopper.
Hopper turns to Mike, and grabs his collar.
"Let's talk. Alone." Hopper tells Mike as they walk into Will's room.
"Oh, my God. Ellie." I mumbled as I rush to hug her.
I wrap my arms around her neck, and she wraps her arm around me.
Ellie was the nickname I gave her when we first met.
That's what I have been calling her ever since.
"I thought you were gone." My voice cracks as tears rolls down my face.
"I know. But I'm here now." She replied.
"I never stopped thinking about you." I told her.
"Me, too." El responds
I pull away from the hug.
"Oh, God. I missed you so much." I told her.
"I missed you, too, Abby." She softly replied.
Max Pov:
Abby rushes to Eleven and wraps her arm around her neck, and Eleven wraps her arm around Abby.
It made my heart shatter as I see her hugging another girl.
But it also made me jealous.
Why can't I be hugged by Abby like that?
"I thought you were gone." Abby tells Eleven.
"I know. But I'm here now." She replied.
"I never stopped thinking about you." Abby tells Eleven.
"Me, too." El responds.
They pull away from the hug.
"Oh, God. I missed you so much." Abby says, tears are still rolling down her face.
My heart shatters even more.
Why do I care about a girl who I met, like, a week ago?
Why is Abby James making me feel like this?

Abby Pov:
Lucas and Dustin comes to hug Ellie.
"We missed you." Lucas spoke.
"I missed you, too." El replied.
"We talked about you pretty much everyday." Dustin spoke as they pull away.
El stares at Dustin with a confused face.
She opens his mouth.
"Teeth." She says as she puts her hand away.
"What?" Dustin asks.
"You have teeth." She replied.
We chuckle at her response.
"Oh. You like these pearls?" Dustin says as he purrs.
Then Max walks towards Eleven.
"Eleven?" She spoke as she puts a smile on her face.
"Hey. Um, I'm Max." Max says as she puts her hand out.
"I've heard a lot about you." Max added.
But El walks pasts her without shaking her hand.
"It's okay. She's just like that." I muttered to Max.
Max shrugs her shoulders.
"Hey, it's going to be okay. She was like that when she met me. But, once you get to know eachother more, she'll come around." I told her.
"Sure." Max smiles.
El goes to Mrs. Byers and hugs her.
Mrs. Byers sighs. "Hey. Hey, sweetheart."
They pull away from the hug.
"Can I see him?" El asks Mrs. Byers.

After Mrs. Byers and El checks on Will, they went to the kitchen.
"You opened this gate before, right?" Mrs. Byers asks El.
"Yes." El replied.
We walk towards them.
"Do you think if we got you back there, that you could close it?" Mrs. Byers asks El.

We are all gathered in the kitchen.
Hopper sighs. "It's not like it was before. It's grown. A lot. And, I mean, that's considering we can get in there."
"The place is crawling with those dogs." Hopper added.
"Demo-dogs." Dustin corrects.
Hopper sighs. "I'm sorry, what?"
"I said, uh, Demo-dogs." Dustin repeats.
"Like Demogorgon and dogs. You put them together, sounds pretyy badass--" Dustin explains.
"How is this important right now?" Hopper cuts him off.
"It's not. I'm sorry." Dustin apologizes.
"I can do it." Eleven says.
"You're not hearing me." Hopper tells El.
"I'm hearing you. I can do it." El tells Hopper.
"Even if El can, there's still another problem. If the brain dies, the body dies." Mike states.
"I thought that was the whole point?" Max asks.
"It is, but we're really right about this, I mean, if El closes the gate and kills the mind flayer's army..." Mike says.
"Will is a part of that army." I finish as everybody realizes.
"Closing the gate will kill him." Mike states.
We look at Mrs. Byers.
She stands up and enters Will's room, where he's sleeping.
We enter the room as well.
"He likes it cold." Mrs. Byers spoke as she looks at an open window.
"What?" Hopper asks.
"It's what Will kept saying to me. He likes it cold." Mrs. Byers states as she closes the window.
"We keep giving it what it wants." Mrs. Byers said.
"If this is a virus, and Will's the host, then..." Nancy spoke.
"Then we need to make the host uninhabitable." Jonathan finishes.
"So if he likes it cold..." Nancy says.
"We need to burn it out of him." Mrs. Byers finishes.
"We have to do it somewhere he doesn't know this time." Mike states.
"Yeah, somewhere far away." Dustin concurred.

Nancy, Jonathan, Mrs. Byers, and Will is going to Hopper's cabin to burn the mind flayer out of Will.
El and Hopper is going to cose the gate.
We are out on the porch.
"Just be careful, okay? I can't lose you again." Mike tells Ellie.
"You won't lose me." El assured.
"Do you promise?" Mike asks.
"Promise." El replied.
Mike softly smiles at El.
I walk towards her, and wrap my arms around her neck, as she wraps her arms around me.
"we just got you back. please don't disapear again... please." I told her.
"I won't, Abby." She replied as I pull away from the hug.
"El... Come on, let's go. It's time." Hopper says as she walks away and gets in to Hopper's car.
I cross my arms as I go back and stand beside Max.
Max puts her arm around my waist, and pulls me close, which made my stomach have butterflies.
I lie my head on Max's shoulder as we watch them drive away.

Max Pov:
I watch as Abby wraps her arms Eleven again.
It just made me more jealous and my heart shatter.
she comes back to stand beside me.
I just suddenly made the first move, and put my arm around her waist and pull her close to me.
She then lies her head on my shoulder, then my stomach suddenly tingles.

Abby Pov:
Henry, George, and I are helping Dustin and Steve.
We are currently taking all of the stuffs out from the fridge.
Why? Because Dustin insisted that it is necessary to put the dead Demo-dog in the fridge.
We finish taking all of the stuffs out.
"All right." Dustin says.
George sighs. "It should fit now, right?" He says as we look at Steve who is holding the dead Demo-dog which is wrapped up with blanket so he looks like he's holding a baby.
"Is this really necessary?" Steve asks.
"Yes, it is, okay? This is a ground-breaking scientific discovery. We can't just bury it like some common mammal, okay? It's not a dog." Dustin tells Steve.
"All right, all right, all right." Steve says.
"But you two are explaining this to Mrs. Byers, all right?" Henry tells us as Steve tries to put in the Demo-dog inside.
"Christ. Help me out." Steve struggles.
"What are we supposed to do?" George asks.
"Get the door, guys. Get the door." Steve replied as Dustin helps with the door.
"All right, I got the door." Dustin says.
Steve finally got the Demo-dog inside, and Dustin quickly closes the door.
They are panting.
"Phew!" Steve says as he rubs Dustin's head.
I come to the room, where Max is helping Lucas clean the shattered glass, and where Mike is pacing round the room.
Lucas stops sweeping and looks at Mike.
"Mike, would you just stop already?" Lucas tells Mike.
"You weren't in there, okay, Lucas? That lab is swarming with hundreds of those dogs." Mike stops pacing.
"Demo-dogs!" Dustin corrects.
"The chief will take care of her." Lucas assures Mike.
"Like she needs protection." Max mumbled.
"Listen, dude, a coach calls a play in a game, bottom line, you execute it. All right?" Steve says as he walks into the room with Dustin, Henry and George.
"Okay, first of all, this isn't some stupid sports game. And second, we're not even in the game. We're on the bench." Mike bickers.
"Right. So my point is..." Steve stammers as he went silent..
We wait for him to answer.
"Right, yeah, we're on the bench, so, uh, there's nothing we can do." Steve finishes.
"That's not entirely true." Dustin blurted.
We turn to Dustin.
"I mean, these Demo-dogs, they have hive mind. When they ran away from the bus, they were called away." Dustin states.
"So, if we get their attention..." Lucas says..
"Maybe we can draw them from the lab." Max says.
"Clear a path to the gate." I said..
"Yeah, and then we all die." Henry interjected.
"Well, that's one point of view." Dustin states.
"No, that's not a point of view, man. That's a fact." Steve tells Dustin.
Mike quietly gasps. "I got it!" Mike rushes to the kitchen and points at one of Will's drawing of the tunnel.
"This is where the chief dug his hole. This is our way into the tunnel. So..." Mike says as he rushes to another room, and stands at Will's drawing, Mike calls it the hub.
"Here, right here. This is like a hub. So you got all the tunnels feeding in here." Mike says.
Mike kneels down.
"Maybe if we set this on fire..." Mike says.
"Oh, yeah? That's a no." Steve blurted, but he got ignored.
"The mind flayer would call away his army." Dustin states.
"They would all come to stop us." I said.
"Then, we circle back to the exit." Mike says.
"Guys." George says.
"By the time they realize wexre gone--" Mike states.
"El would be at the gate." Max finishes.
"Hey. Hey! Hey! This is not happening." Steve claps loudly, so he gets our attention.
He puts his hands on his hip.
"But--" Mike gets cut off.
"No, no, no, no, no. No buts. We promised we'd keep you shitheads safe, and that's exactly what we plan on." Henry states.
"Yeah, we're staying here. On the bench. And we're waiting for the starting team to do their job. Does everybody understand that?" Steve says.
"This isn't a stupid sports game." Mike argued.
"I said does everbody understand that? We need a yes." Steve states.
But we stayed silent.
Then we hear an engine revving from outside.
Max rushes to the window as we follow her.
We peak through the window.
We see a car coming outside the house.
"It's my brother." Max spoke.
"He can't know I'm here. He'll kill me." Max states.
"He'll kill us." Max looks at me.
"George. You stay here and watch them. We'll go outside." Steve states. George nods as a response.
"Hey, you guys should stay away from the windows." George says, but we did not listen.
Steve and Henry comes out of the house.
We just peak through the window and watch them.
After a few moments of watching them through the window, Billy points his cigarette at as and looks at us.
We quickly duck down.
"Shit! Did he see us?" Dustin exclaims.
We stand up and back away from the window.
Billy comes into the house.
"Well, well, well." Billy says as he makes eye contact with me and slams the door shut.
"Abigail James. What a suprise." Billy spoke as he walks towards us.
"I thought I told you to stay away from her, Max." Billy stated.
"Billy, go away." Max tells Billy.
"You disobeyed me. And you know what happens when you disobey me." Billy stated.
"Billy..." Max says.
"I break things." Billy says as he grabs me by the collar and and harshly pins me to a cupboard.
My back stings.
We heard indistinct yelling.
"Billy! Stop! Billy! Stop!" Max yells.
George tries to get Billy off of me.
"Hey, mind your own business!" Billy yells as he shoves George away, which made his head hit the wall hardly and fall down.
He was knocked out.
"Get off of me! You--" i get cut off.
"Since Maxine won't listen to me, maybe you will. You stay away from her." Billy stated.
"Stay away from her! You hear me?" Billy yells as he shoves me to the cupboard.
"Please... stop." I begged.
"Billy, just stop!" Max yells.
"Get away from her, Bastard!" Mike yells.
"Just stop, please..." i begged as tears forms in my eyes.
"Oh, I'll stop. Once I break your arm." Billy states.
"What?" I said.
He grabs my left arm, and starts twisting it.
"Ahh! No! Stop! Please!" I yelled in pain.
"Stop hurting her, asshole!" Dustin yells.
I hear my bone crack.
I feel the pain. "Ahh! Stop! Stop!" I screamed in pain as tears rolls down my face.
"Get off!" I screamed.
"I said get off of me!" I yelled as I kick him in the shin.
He drops me and groans in pain.
I fall down on the floor, and continue to cry in pain.
"You're so dead, James! You're dead." Billy states.
Suddenly Steve turns Billy to face him.
"No. You are." Steve stated as he punches Billy in the face.
"Here, come on, Abby." Max softly said, as she helps me stand up.
She wraps her arms around me.
"It's okay, Abby. You're okay." She comforts.
Billy laughs and turns to Steve.
"Looks like you got some fire in you after all, huh?" Billy says.
"I've been wanting to meet this King Steve everybody's been telling me so much about." Billy states as he gets close to Steve.
"Get out." Steve tells Billy as he softly pushes Billy away.
Billy just stares at Steve, untik he throws a punch at him, but luckily Steve dodges the punch.
Henry starts joining in the fight, and punches Billy as well.
Billy groans.
"Yes! Kick his ass!" Dustin yelled.
Steve throws another punch at Billy.
Billy stumbles.
"Get him!" Mike yelled.
"Murder the son of a bitch!" Dustin yelled.
Henry punches Billy again, and he stumbles again.
"Now! Now!" Dustin yelled.
"Get that shithead!" Mike yelled.
"Get him!" Lucas yelled.
"Kill the son of a bitch!" Dustin yelled.
Billy laughs as he grabs a plate, and smashes it to Steve's head.
"Holy shit." Mike says.
"Steve!" Lucas yelled.
"Billy!" Max yelled.
"oh, shit. Steve." Henry says.
Billy punches Henry.
Henry stumbles to the ground.
"Shit." Henry groans in pain.
"Henry!" I yelled as i try to run at him, but Max hold me tightly.
"Stop!" I yelled.
Billy punches Henry a couple times more, until Steve shoves Billy.
Steve throws a punch, but Billy dodges.
Instead Steve gets punched by Billy.
Steve stumbles to the living room.
Billy approaches Steve.
"Shit!" Dustin yelled as Billy punches Steve again.
Steve groans.
Steve stumbles again.
Billy grabs Steve by his collar.
"No one tells me what to do!" Billy yells, as he grunts and hit Steve with his head.
Steve groans in pain and falls to the floor.
"You're gonna kill him!" Dustin yelled hoping Billy would stop.
We're all yelling to Billy to stop.
Billy stradles Steve.
Billy punches his face repeatedly, side to side.
"Stop!" We yelled.
"Stop it, asshole!" We yelled.
Max looks at the syringe at a table.
"Hold her." Max tells Lucas, because she knew I would've bolted to Billy.
Max grabs the syringe and opens the cap.
She moves Lucas and Mike out of the way, and walks towards Billy from behind.
Max stabs Billy's neck with the syringe.
Billy grunts and stop punching Steve.
Max backs up.
Billy stands up, and turns to us panting.
He takes the syringe off of his neck.
"The hell is this?" He asks as he takes a few steps towards us.
"You little shit, what did you do?" Billy questions.
after a few steps, he falls to the floor, laying flat on his back.
"shit." mike mumbled.
billy starts laughing.
max looks at steve's bat, and picks it up.
she holds the bat up.
"from here on out, you leave me and my friends alone. do you understand?" max questions.
"screw you." billy spoke.
max hits the floor with the bat, the bat is very close to his crotch.
billy looks up, to see if his crotch is okay.
max holds up the bat again.
"say you understand! say it! say it!" max yelled.
"i understand." billy mumbled.
"what?" max questions.
"i understand." billy repeats, before he gets completely knocked out.
max drops the bat to the floor.
max grabs billy's car key. "let's get out of here." she says as holds the car key up.

before we left, we put some bandaids on henry and steve.
and grabbed some ice packets for henry and steve.
and max made a homemade arm sling out of a cloth.
and we waked george up.
------------
max is currently driving us to where the chier dug his hole.
lucas is in the paasenger seat.
and me, mike, dustin, steve, henry, and george we all suprisingly fit in the backseat.
i am sitting next to henry and george.
henry and steve we're knocked out, so they don't know what's happening.
well... until now.
"nancy?" we hear steve spoke while looking at mike.
we look at him confused.
"mom?" we hear my brother henry spoke while looking at me.
"no, i'm not mom, idiot." i replied.
steve tries to touch his wound in the head, but dustin blocks his hand.
"no, don't touch it." dustin spoke.
steve looks at him.
"hey, buddy..." dustin says as he shushes.
"it's okay. you put up a good fight. he kicked your ass, but you put up a good fight, buddy. you're okay." dustin talks to steve.
henry and steve starts to look around.
they see lucas on the passenger seat.
"Okay, you're gonna keep straight for a half a mile, then make a left on mount sinai." lucas spoke.
"what's going on?" henry asks.
henry and steve looks at the driver's seat, where they found max driving.
"oh, my god!" steve says as he realizes.
"oh, shit!" henry exclaims.
"relax, guys, she's driven before." dustin states trying to calm henry and steve down.
"yeah, in a parking lot." mike blurted.
"that counts." i stated.
"oh, my god." steve says as he and henry starts to panic.
"they we're going to leave you guys behind." dustin stated.
"no, oh, my god." steve says.
"abby and i promised that you two would be cool with it." dustin added.
max starts speeding up.
"whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. what's going on?" henry asks with panic in his voice.
max speeds up more.
"oh, my god. no! whoa! stop the car. slow down." steve orders.
"i told you two they'd freak out!" mike tells us.
"stop the car!" henry yelled.
"everybody shut up! i'm trying to focus!" max yelled.
lucas looks at the map.
"oh, wait! that's mount sinai! make a left!" lucas said.
"what?" max questions.
"make a left!" lucas yelled.
max immediately turns left.
then max hits a mailbox.
we hear the tire screeching, steve and henry screaming, and dustin and mike arguing.

max stops the car as we reach our destination.
"hello!" steve yelled.
"whoa!" dustin says while panting.
"incredible." mike comments.
"i told you. zoomer." max replied as she takes the key out.
we all get out of the car, well, except for henry and steve. they are struggling to get out.
we get everything out the trunk.
the bandanas as a mask, goggles, gasoline, flashlights, rope.
we all put on the goggles and the bandanas.
henry and steve stumbles out of the car.
"Guys..." steve said with a tired voice.
"oh, no. guys..." henry said.
mike grabs the gasoline and the rope, he walks towards the hole.
"hey, where do you think you're going?" henry questions mike, but mike walk passes them.
"what are you, deaf? hello?" steve said.
me, max, lucas, and george also walk towards the hole to help mike.
"we are not going down there right now. we made ourselves clear!" steve stated as we walk past them.
"hey, there's no chance we're going into that hole, all right?" henry stated.
"and this ends right now!" steve yells.
but we ignored him, and we go down to the hole.
mike goes in first, then me, then max, then lucas, then george.
we look around. it is dark, and kinda foggy.
"holy shit." i muttered.
a few moments later, steve, henry, and dustin comes down.
mike looks at his map that he made earlier.
"yeah, i'm pretty sure it's this way." mike said as he points the direction with his flashlight.
"you're pretty sure, or you're certain?" dustin questions.
"i'm 100% sure. just follow me and you'll know." mike stated as he was about to lead the way.
"whoa, whoa, whoa. hey, hey, hey, hey. i don't think so." henry blurted.
"what?" mike asks as he turns to steve and henry.
"any of you little shits die down here, we're getting the blame. got it, dipshit?" steve questions mike as he grabs the map from mike.
"from here on out, we're leading the way. come on, let's go." steve stated.
we follow them as they lead the way.
"come on. hey, a little hustle." henry said as we follow them.

Max Pov:
it's been a few minutes since we got down here.
i'm walking beside abby.
we are still looking for the hub.
then suddenly i felt someone holding my hand.
i look to see who it is, and it was abby.
it made my stomach have butterflies, as i realized it was abby.
but then i notice that she is shaking.
"what's wrong?" i whispered.
"n-nothing, i'm just scared..." she stuttered.
"hey, it's okay." i whispered
"don't worry. everything's gonna be alright soon." i whispered as i interwined our fingers together.
she softly smiles as we continue to walk.
"god." lucas said as he looks around.
"what is this place?" i questioned.
"guy, come on. keep moving." steve spoke as we kept walking.
as we kept walking, we hear dustin screaming for help.
we run back to him.
"help! help! help!" dustin screamed as he rushes towards us but trips.
"shit!" he exclaims.
"dustin, what happend?" abby questioned him.
"dustin!" lucas said.
"what happend? what happend?" steve asks as he moves everyone out of his way.
dustin whimpers. "it's in my mouth! some got on my mouth! shit!" dustin screamed.
dustin moves the bandana down, and starts coughing.
as he finishes coughing, he looks up at us.
"i'm okay." he spoke.
"you serious?" i said, as she goes back to halding my hand.
"oh, my god. what a moron." abby mumbled.
"very funny, man." steve said as he and henry gets back to leading the way.
"nice. very nice." george said.
"jesus, what an idiot." i said, as we start walking again.
"hang on. wait, wait." dustin said as he catches up.
as few steps later, we stop walking as we found the hub.
"all right, wheeler. i think we found you hub." steve spoke.
we look around with flashlights.
"let's drench it." mike said.
we start to drench the hub with gasoline.
we spray and pour gasoline every inch of the hub.

we finished drenching the hub with gasoline everywhere.
"all right. you guys ready?" steve asks.
"ready." we replied.
steve grabs his lighter from his jacket.
"light her up." dustin spoke.
steve opens the lighter.
henry sighs. "we're in such deep shit."
steve lights the lighter, and throws it to the hub.
the fire immediately spreads.
the vines started going crazy.
"okay, go, go, go!" steve yelled.
i immediately grab abby's hand and run.
we all run back as fast as we can.
"let's go! let's go!" george yelled as we run.
"oh, my god! oh, my god! oh, my god! oh, my god! hey! this way!" steve yelled while running.
we hear mike grunting from behind us.
we turn around to see that he tripped and his ankle is wrapped with the vine.
"help! help! help!" mike yelled.
we rush back to mike.
"hold on." steve said.
"steve, pull him out!" henry told steve.
"everybody back! back!" steve yelled as he tries to pull mike out.
didn't work, so he grabs his bat and starts hitting the vine until it let go of mike.
then it finally let go off of him, he stands up.
"we gotta go." steve said.
"you good?" lucas asks mike.
"you okay?" dustin asks mike.
"hey, we gotta go, now!" henry said.
as we're about to run again, a demo-dog blocks the way.
i put abby behind me as soon as i saw the dog.
"dart." dustin spoke.
wait, that's dart?
dustin slowly starts to walk towards dart.
"dustin, no, get back."
"dustin, stop."
"get back, now!" everbody said.
"shh. stop. trust me, please." dustin tells us as we stop talking.
"hey, it's me, it's me. it's just your friend, it's dustin." dustin talks to dart as he kneels down.
"it's dustin, all right? you remember me?" he says.
"will you let us pass?" dustin asks.
dart snarls at him.
"okay, okay, i'm sorry. i'm sorry about the storm cellar. that was a pretty douchey thing to do." dustin said.
"you hungry? yeah?" dustin asks him as he puts down his back pack.
"he's insane." lucas whispered.
"don't." mike said
"shut up." abby said.
dustin reaches for something in his backpack.
"i've got our favorite. see? nougat." dustin said as he shows dart the candy.
darts comes closer.
dustin opens the candy. "look at that. yummy. here, all right?" dustin places down the candy.
"eat up, buddy. come on. come on." dustin signals us to pass through.
we quickly walk pass through them.
"let's go." steve whispered.
"there's plenty. i've got more." dustin said as he gives dart the rest of the candy.
he grabs his backpack and stands up.
"goodbye, buddy." dustin said.
"let's go. let's go." george whispered as we start to run to the exit again.
"let's go!" steve yelled as we continue to run, but the whole tunnel shakes, which made us fall down.
"jesus!" henry exclaims.
we quickly stand up as we hear the dogs roaring.
"what was that?" i ask.
we look behind us, as we hear the roaring.
"they're coming." mike spoke.
"shit." abby shuddered.
"run! run!" mike yelled as we quickly run.
"let's go! let's go!" steve yelled.
"come on, mike! move, mike!" dustin yelled.
"there, there!" lucas yelled as we see the rope.
"come on! let's go!" george yelled.
"go, go, go! let's go! come on! come on!" steve yelled as he makes abby climb up first.
she grunts as she tries her best to hurry up.
"come on, hurry up! come on!" lucas yelled.
she got to the ground, and i'm the next one to climb out.
"max, grab my hand." abby said as she tries to reach my hand, i reach for her hand and she pulls me up.
then lucas climbs up, then mike, then george, then henry. we all help them climb up.
we hear the monster shrieking.
"dustin! come on!" we yelled.
dustin screams as the demo-dogs comes close to them.
but the unexpected happens.
then demo-dogs runs past them, like, they're not even there.
steve grabs dustin and the rope, ready to climb out.
"eleven." mike spoke.
we help steve and dustin climb out of the tunnel, but as soon as they got out, billy's car front light starts glowing.
we cover our eyes, because it was so bright.
a few moments later, it stops being bright.

Abby Pov:
a month later...
tonight is the snowball so i am getting ready.
i'm looking at my mirror, wondering what hairstyle should i do.
if my mom was here, she would know.
then somebody knocks on my door.
"come in." i said as i sit on my bed.
"hey, honey." charlie walks in with a smile.
"hey." i replied.
"what's wrong?" charlie asks.
"i can't think of what hairstyle should i do. I mean, if my mom was still alive, she would know." i said.
she sits beside me.
"you miss your mom?" charlie asks.
"yeah." i look down.
she wraps her arm around me.
"how about this, i will do you hair, if you want me to." charlie said.
i look at her. "you would do that?" i ask her.
"yeah, of course. anything for you." she replied, which made me smile so widely.

charlie finished doing my hair, it was so beautiful.
"thank you, charlie. it's really beautiful." i told her.
"your welcome, honey." she replied as she kiss on top of my head and walks out of my room.
i go enter henry's room.
"hey, henry." i said.
he gets up from his bed. i close his door behind me.
"hey, what's up?" he asks.
"henry... can i maybe... um... have my gun back?" i ask him.
"no, abby." he calmly replied.
"but, why?" i whined.
"because, i said so. it is dangerous for you to own a gun." he explained.
"fine." i was about to walk out his room, but i stopped.
"and... there's something else i've been meaning to tell you." i told henry.
"what is it?" henry asks.
i sit beside him on the bed.
i look down on the floor.
"hey, you can tell me anything, all right? i'm your brother, and i will always be there for you." he said.
"yeah, i-i know." i stuttered.
"so what's the problem?" he asks.
"i... i think i like someone." i stared at the floor.
"oh, that's cool. what's his name?" henry asks.
i stayed silent for a moment.
"it's a she..." i quietly replied.
henry widened his eyes.
"oh..." he said.
"is it max?" he asks.
i look at him.

"i see the way you two look eachother, abby." he smiles.
"wait, so you're not mad?" i ask.

i decided to wear a light blue dress, with white belt.
henry dropped me off.
i get out of the car, and see dustin.
"dustin, hey." i said.
"oh, hey, abby! wanna come in together?" he asks.
"yeah, sure!" i replied.
we come inside, and give our tickets to mr. clarke.
"looking very snazzy tonight, ma'am and sir." mr. clarke said.
"thank you, my lord." dustin replied.
"thank you, mr. clarke." i replied.
we're about to go into the gym.
"all right, you ready?" i ask dustin.
dustin sighs. "yup." he replied.
"okay." i said as we come inside.

Max Pov:
we're all just waiting for abby and dustin at a table.
until we see dustin and abby come in.
i just stared at her.
she's very beautiful.
my stomach is full of butterflies just from staring at her.
her eyes are very dazzling.
they walk towards us.
they stand up as they see dustin's hair.
i didn't saw it because i was too focused on abby's beautiful face.
"holy shit. what happend to you?" mike asks dustin.
then i noticed his hair.
dustin smile fades.
"what do you mean, 'what happend' ?" dustin questions.
"what?" mike said.
"dude." lucas said.
"your hair." i said.
"is there a bird nesting in there?" lucas touches dustin's hair.
abby laughs.
oh, my god. look at how she laughs.
even her laugh is beautiful.
"what do you mean, 'what's wrong' ? there's no bird nesting in here, asshole. okay?" dustin said.
they laugh.
"guys, stop. he looks very nice." abby said as she smiles.
"see? abby thinks i look nice." dustin said.
"i worked hard." dustin said as he fixes his hair.
"hey, abby. is your arm okay?" i ask her.
she still has her sling on, but not the one i made.
she has a new one from her dad's, since he works in the hospital.
"oh, yeah. it's getting better actually." she smiles.
then suddenly a slow romantic song starts playing, which made the tension between the party made it awkward.
we look around, and all of our schoolmates are dancing together.
i look at abby.
"hey, abby--" i get cut off.

Abby Pov:
max was about to say something to me, until a boy called my name.
"um. hi, abby. i'm liam. liam matthews." i start to recognize him.
"oh, yeah. i've seen you from somewhere." i told him.
"yeah, look. would you maybe wanna dance with me?" liam slowly smiles.
i look to my friends, and i see max glaring at liam.
well, nobody is going to ask me to dance if i reject him, right?
so i should dance with him.
i mean, it's just dance... right?
"uh... yeah. sure." i replied.
we go to where other kids dance.
i was hoping max would ask me.
what was i thinking?
i turn to see max is already dancing with lucas.
it shattered my heart.
i should've never thought that max would ever like me.
