March 22nd, 1967
"We need to pick out a new floor model." Darryl said.
"Why we do got to get a new floor?" Ponyboy complained. "The one we currently have is perfectly fine."
"Perfectly fine?!" Darryl scoffed. "That floor in the bathroom has been creaking each time we came in and out."
"So?" Ponyboy shurgged.
"We're going to get a new floor model and that's that." Darryl said as he got off the couch.
"So, where we are going then?" Soda asked.
"To the renovation center." Darryl replied. "They'll help us find what we're looking for."
"Okay." Ponyboy said.
So the Curtis brothers left the house and started to walking to the Renovation Center.
"How far are we?" Ponyboy asked.
"Just another fifteen minutes." Darryl said.
"I'm dying of heat!" Soda complained. "Where's the gas station? I need a soda!"
"Sodapop, your name is soda, that's why it's funny you need to get a soda!" Ponyboy asked.
"Stop laughing!" Sodapop yelled.
"I can't help it!" Ponyboy laughed.
"Let's just get the floor model and head on home." Darryl scoffed.
