Abby Pov:
I'm getting ready for school.
I'm still shocked about what happend last night.
I'm wearing a black flannel, and a darl blue t-shirt, and a gray jeans.
I go downstairs and, quickly grab a toast.
"Hey, Abby. Are you going to school?" Charlie asks.
"Yeah, I'm going to be late, bye!" I said as I get out of the house, and got on my bike.

Me and my friends are currently in science class.
However, Dustin is still not here.
"The case of Phineas Gage is one of the great medical curiosities of all time." Mr. Clarke says.
"Phineas was a railroad worker in 1848 who had a nightmarish accident." He says.
"A large iron rod was driven completely through his head." Mr. Clarke draws a line threw a skull, and it shows on the projector.
"Phineas miraculously survived. He seemed fine." Mr. Clarke closes his marker.
"And physically, yes, he was. But his injury resulted in a complete change to his personality." Mr. Clarke says.
"So much so that friends that knew him started referring to him as 'No longer Gage.' " Mr. Clarke says.
"At the time, this was know as the Anerican Crowbar Case. Although it wasn't a--" Mr. Clarke get interrupted by Dustin barging into the class.
"I'm so sorry, Mr. Clarke." Dustin apologizes as he walks towards his seat.
"Really, I'm so sorry. Please continue with the class." Dustin says.
"Don't mind me." Dustin drops his bag down.
"Really, continue, please. Thanks." Dustin sits down.
"Althought it wasn't a crowbar, it was a rod, as I said." Mr. Clarke recited.
Dustin turns to us.
"We have to meet. All of us. At lunch, AV Club." Dustin whispers.
"Why?" Mike asks.
"I have something that you won't believe." Dustin replied.
We nodd and get back to the class.
Dustin turns to Max, who is in the back of the class.
"AV Club. Lunch." Dustin whispers to Max, but loud enough for her to hear.
"Dustin!" Mr. Clarke calls.
"Yes, my lord?" Dustin says as he turns to him.
"Would you care to join the class now?" He sarcastically asks.
"Please, yes." Dustin says as he grabs his textbook from his back pack.
"The case of Phineas Gage." Mr. Clarke tells him.
"Phineas Gage." Dustin repeats.
"Page 104." Mr. Clarke tells him.
"104. 104." Dustin repeats.
"Focus." Mr. Clarke tells him.
"Focusing. Focusing." Dustin repeats.
Dustin turns to Max again.
"AV club." He whispers.
He gives her thumbs up.
------------
We're in the AV Club to see what's Dustin is so excited about.
He opens his trap.
We see a weird looking slug.
"His name is d'Artagnan." Dustin says.
Dustin picks up the slug.
"Cute, right?" He says.
"No." I shake my head.
"D'Artagnan?" Mike asks.
"Dart for short." Dustin replied.
"And he was in your trash?" Max asks.
"Foraging for food." Dustin replied.
"You wanna hold him?" Dustin asks.
"No, no." Max replied while shaking her head.
"He doesn't bite." Dustin says.
"I don't want to--" Dustin places Dart on Max's hands.
"Oh, God, he's slimy!" Max says as she passes him to my hands.
"Oh, my God. He's disgusting!" I said as I pass it to Lucas.
"Ugh, he's like a living booger." Lucas passes him to Will.
"Ugh, oh, God!" Then Will passes him to me again.
"Hey, why would you pass him to me? Dustin take this thing." I told Dustin.
"You're overreacting." Dustin says.
"This thing was in your trash, man. I don't wanna touch it!" I told him.
"But isn't he cute?" Dustin asks.
"No! Now take this thing away from me, 'cause if you don't I will literally drop this thing and kill it!" I told him.
"Here, let me hold him." Mike says, and I quickly passed him to Mike.
Mike looks at him closely.
"What is he?" Mike asks.
"My question exactly." Dustin grins.
Dustin drops five stacks of books about reptiles on the table.
"At first, I thought it was some type of pollywog." Dustin says.
"Pollywog?" Max asks.
"It's another word for tadpole." Dustin explains.
"A tadpole is the larval stage of a toad." Dustin clarifies.
"I know what a tadpole is." Max says.
"All right, then you know that most tadpoles are aquatic, right?" Dustin asks as he opens up a book.
"Well, Dart, he isn't. He doesn't need water." Dustin says.
"Yeah, but aren't there nonaquatic pollywogs?" Lucas asks.
"Terrestrial pollywogs? Yep. Two to be exact." Dustin replied, as he opens up another book.
"Indirana Semipalmata." Dustin says as he opens up another book.
"And the Adenomera Andreae." Dustin says
"One's from India, one's from South America. So how did one end up in my trash?" Dustin says.
"Maybe some scientists brought it here, and it escaped?" Max says.
"How are you even sure, that Dart is one of the terrestrial pollywogs?" I ask.
"Do you guys see that?" Mike asks while looking at Dart.
"Looks like sonething is moving inside of it." Mike says.
We look closely.
Then Mike moves the lamp closer to Dart, but it screeches.
I got startled so I backes up.
It moved away from the lamp, and it almost falls from the table, but Dustin catches it.
"Whoa. It's okay. It's okay. I got you, little guy." Distin comforts it.
"I know you don't like that. It's okay." Dustin told the slug.
We look at him weirdly.
"And there's another thing. Reptiles, they're cold-blooded. Ectothermic, right? They love heat, the sun. Dart hates it. It hurts him." Dustin explains.
"So, if he's not a pollywog or a reptile..." Lucas doesn't finish.
"Then I've discovered a new species." Dustin grins.
The school bell rings.
We grab our back packs, and we get out of the AV Club
"We gotta show him to Mr. Clarke." Lucas suggests.
"No. What if he steals my discovery?" Dustin says.
"He's not gonna steal your discovery." Mike tells Dustin.
"You know, I'm thinking about calling it Dustonius pollywogus." Dustin says as he faces Max.
"What do you think?" He asks her as he grins.
"I think you're an idiot." Max tells him, which made me laugh.
"You know, when I get rich and famous one day, don't come crawling back to me, saying, 'Oh, my God, Dustin, I'm so sorry for being mean to you back in 8th grade. Oh, my god.' " Dustin says.
------------
We're in Mr. Clarke's class.
We are about to show him Dart.
"This is the reason i was late for class." Dustin tells him as he puts the trap on Mr. Clarke's desk.
"Pretty neat. These door function?" Mr. Clarke asks.
"Well, yeah obviously. But it's not about the trap. It's what's inside." Dustin says.
"Now, this is very well may change your perception of the world." Dustin added.
"Consider my interest piqued." Mr. Clarke says.
"All right, first, let's just clarify that... this is my discovery, not yours." Dustin tells Mr. Clarke.
"Dustin, Jesus! Just show him!" Lucas tells Dustin.
"All right. I'm just trying to clarify--" I cut off Dustin.
"Show him, Dustin!" I told him.
"Okay, fine." Dustin says.
Suddenly the door opens.
It's Mike and Will.
"Stop!" Mike yells, and grabs Dustin's trap.
"I'm really sorry, Mr. Clarke. It was just a stupid prank." Mike says in a hurry.
"What the hell are you doing?" Dustin questions Mike.
"I told him to stop. We need to go." He tells us.
"Right now." Mike says.
"Mike!" Dustin calls.
"Right now!" Mike yells.
------------
We are all inside the AV Club... Well, except for Max, because Mike didn't allow her.
Max is banging on the door.
"Hello? Hello? Guys, come on. Can I come in yet?" Max asks.
"No!" Mike replied.
Max bangs the door one more time.
"I don't understand." Lucas says.
"What do you not understand?" Mike asks.
"Will saw something that look liked Dart last year?" Lucas responds.
"Kind of, but there was no tail." Will says.
"But then he heard it yesterday. The exact same sound." Mike says.
"Why didn't you tell us before?" Dustin questions Will.
"I wasn't sure." Will replies.
"So it's a coincidence." Dustin says.
"Or not." Mike bickered as he looks at me.
"Abby, you were there. You heard the exact same sound, right?" Mike asks.
"Dude, I don't know. I was only there for a second." I told Mike.
"Why didn't you try focusing on hearing the sound?" Mike questions me.
"Oh, I'm sorry. Maybe because there was a shadowy monster coming for us!" I told Mike.
"Okay, sorry. But what if when Will was stuck in the Upside Down, he somehow aquired True Sight?" Mike says.
"True Sight?" Lucas asks.
"It gives you the power to see into the ethereal plane." Dustin explains.
Lucas sighs. "Elaborate." He says.
"Maybe these episode that Will keeps having aren't really flashbacks at all. Maybe they're real." Mike suggests.
"Maybe Will can somehow see into the Upside Down." Mike added.
"So that would mean..." Lucas doesn't finish.
"Dart is from the Upside Down." Mike finishes.
I sigh. "We're gonna have to take him to Hopper." I said.
"I agree." Mike concurs
"No. No way. If we take him to Hopper, Dart's good as dead." Dustin bickers.
"Maybe he should be dead." Mike tells Dustin.
"How can you say that?" Dustin tells Mike.
"How can you not? He's from the Upside Down." Mike tells Dustin.
"Maybe. But even if he is, it doesn't automatically mean that he's bad." Dustin argues.
"That's just like saying just because someone's from the Death Star doesn't make them bad." Mike bickers.
"We have a bond." Dustin says.
"A bond? Just because he like nougat?" Mike says.
"No! Because he trusts me!" Dustin raises his voice.
"Dustin, don't be absurd." I told him.
"He trusts you?" Lucas asks.
"Yes! I promised that i would take care of him--" Dustin gets cut off, because Dart screeches from inside of his trap.
The trap is moving.
And Max is still banging on the door.
"Guy, what's going on? Come on." Max says from outside.
The trap is still moving, like, crazy.
Mike grabs the loud speaker.
"Don't hurt him." Dustin tells Mike.
"Only if he attacks." Mike replies.
"Just open it already." Lucas tells Dustin.
Dustin grabs the controller, and opens the trap.
We see that Dart had grew.
He is way bigger, than he was earlier.
"Holy shit!" Lucas exclaimed.
Dart steps out of the trap.
Mike is getting ready to hit him with a loud speaker.
Then legs suddenly came out of his body.
"Oh, my God! That is gross!" I exclaimed.
"Oh, shit!" Lucas exclaims.
Then it screeches.
Mike is anout to hit him with the loud speaker, but Dustin stops him.
"No!" He yells as he push Mike, making him miss the hit.
Dart falls down on the floor, and starts running away.
But he couldn't because the door is closed.
Well, until Max opens it, making him escape.
"Shit!" I yelled.
I quickly run to catch it, but I tripped, making me fall down, and next thing i know i'm on top of Max.
Max holds my waist.
Then Dustin trips on my leg, making him trip also.
"Are you okay?" Max asks me.
"Y-Yeah, I'm sorry." I apologize as i get off of her.
I feel my face getting red.
Mike, Will, and Lucas gets out of the room.
"Where'd he go?" Lucas asks.
"What was that?" Max asks as she gets up.
"Dart!" Mike replies.
"What?" Max asks.
"You let him escape!" Mike yells at Max.
"Why did you attack him?" Dustin yells at Mike.
"Come on." Mike says as he begins to find Dart.
"Don't hurt him. Don't you hurt him!" Dustin yells.

I was walking past the gym, but i heard someone arguing.
I peaked through the door, and see Mike and Max.
"Why do you hate me so much?" Max asks Mike.
"I don't hate you. How can i hate you? I don't even know you." Mike tells Max.
I finally walk in.
"Hey, what's going on?" I ask.
"Nothing. Go back, to finding Dart." Mike orders.
But of course I didn't listen.
"You don't want me in your party." Max says.
"Correct." Mike replies.
"Why not?" Max asks
"Because you're annoying!" Mike snaps.
"Also, we don't need another party member. I'm our paladin, Will's our cleric, Abby's our sorcerer, Dustin's our bard, Lucas is our ranger, and El is our mage!" Mike blurted.
"Mike, shut up!" I told him.
"El? Who's El?" Max asks.
"Someone... No one." Mike responds.
"Someone or no one?" Max asks.
"She was in our party a long time ago. She moved away, okay?" Mike explains as he walks away.
"She was a mage?" Max says as she starts to skateboard.
"Well, what could she do? Like, magic tricks or something?" Max asks.
Max gets off of her skateboard, and stops infront of Mike.
"Well, I could be your zoomer." Max suggests.
"That could work." I commented.
"See? Abby agrees." Max says.
"That's not even a real thing." Mike says.
"It could be." Max says, as she gets on her skateboard, and starts skating around me and Mike.
"See? Zoomer." Max says.
"Mind-blowing." Mike sarcastically comments.
"Come on, you know you're impressed." Max tells Mike.
"I am." I said as I slowly smile.
"I don't see any tricks. You're just going around in a circle." Mike says.
"If it's so easy, you try it." Max challenges Mike.
"No." Mike answered.
"Why not?" Max asks.
"I don't know how." Mike replies.
"So, then you admit it's kind of impressive." Max tells Mike.
"I think if I spent, like, all day practicing, I could so that." Mike says.
"Mike, even is you did practice all day doing that, you wouldn't be able to do it, and you know it." I told Mike while chuckling.
"Yeah, I would give you a million bucks if you could." Max says while still spinning around us.
"Okay, you're making me dizzy." Mike tells Max.
"Please just stop." Mike pleads.
"I'll stop when I join your party." Max says.
My smile fades as soon as I see a familiar face, just outside of gym.
The person was peaking from the door window.
But, the next thing I know, Max had fallen from her skateboard.
Max grunts.
"Jesus, are you alright?" Mike asks.
I quickly kneel down, and help her stand up.
"What happend?" I ask her.
"I don't know. It was just like a magnet or something pulling on my board. I know that sounds crazy." Max says as she went to grab her skateboard.
It made us both realize who could be the person that did this.
Mike and I look at eachother, and rush outside the gym.
But we see nobody.
"Okay, Mike. I swear to god, before Max had fallen from her skateboard, I definetly saw a familiar person peaking from hear." I quietly told Mike.
"What?... you don't think it's..." he doesn't finish his sentence.
I just nodded at him.

After few minutes, we started looking for Dart again.
Mike went seperate ways.
Max and I stuck together.
Then I hear somebody talking om the radio.
"Guys..." it was Will.
"I found him." He says.
"Where?" Dustin asks through the radio.
"In the bathroom by Mr. Salerno's." Will replies.
"Copy that." Mike says through radio.
I grab Max's hand and rush to the bathroom by Mr. Salerno's.

Me, Max, Lucas, and Mike walk in together in the bathroom.
"Where's Dart?" I ask Dustin who is already in the room.
"I don't know. Not here." Dustin replies.
"What?" Mike says as he opens every stall.
"He said by Salerno's, right?" Max asks.
"Yeah, maybe Will has him." Dustin says.
I notice that there's a radio on the floor.
I pick it up, and realize it's Will's
"Hey, guys. This is Will's radio." I said.
"Where is Will?" Mike asks.
