"I need some money for the hellevator.." Cassie said to herself, she had already been in the Sloth ring for 2 days now, At night Cassie would take off her hoodie and use her wings to fly on top of the rooftop and chill up there. The news about her also died down a little but not all the way, she still heard hellborn in sloth talk about that but besides that people just thought it was fake news.
She was sitting on a bench in a park while swinging her legs back and forth as she sucked on a lollipop that she sold from a child 'Like they said easy as selling candy from a baby' Cassie thought with a smirk on her face. Then Cassie heard a voice.
"FREE MONEY, FREE MONEY!!" A voice said in an alleyway called out, Cassie decided to fuck it and go toward the voice. After walking into the alleyway Cassie felt someone tap their shoulder so Cassie turned around to see a red-toned demon with black and white horns and white hair, Cassie guessed the demon to be an imp with a weird red and blue suit and tie
"Hello darling, what's your name?" The imps asked in a tone that made Cassie uncomfortable "My name is Cassie." The imps smiled wider at this new fact "So you're a girl?" Cassie didn't identify as a girl or a boy, well not yet "I'm not a girl." Cassie was starting to get impatient he just wanted to get the free money and go to the next ring .
"Oh, I got it, got a girl's name but a guy's body okay okay I get it" Cassie didn't know what the fuck the imp just said to her but she got the feeling that the imp was thinking Cassie was a boy "I'm not a boy either."
"So what's in between your legs?" Cassie thought about it for a moment before replying "My skin?" The imp face-palmed himself and asked again "Do you have a poll or a hole?" The imp had a fed-up look on his face while Cassie had a confused look "I don't have one..." Angels don't have arent born with those but they can manifested it if they want but the idea made Cassie feel weird so she never did.
"No, I-" The red imp sighed and put his index and thumb finger in between his eyes "Just take this and get the fuck out of here.." The imp handed Cassie a 20-dollar bill which excited her. She grabbed the 20 dollar bill and ran out of the alleyway and to the hellevator.
~3 Days ago~
Addy was in a building on the second floor with a few other angels, killing any demon they saw. Addy was about to leave since there was no one demon to kill until someone grabbed her hand and started to drag her out a window and to the ground. Addy was confused about what was happening so she asked "What is happening?" The angel didn't respond and just continued to run with Addy toward the Pentagram
Addy then suddenly stopped, pulling the other angel back. "We have to go now!" The angel yelled in a voice that made her stutter "B-But... what's happening?" Addy asked again but the angel didn't respond he just pointed to the huge clock and then started to fly up to the pentagram in the black sky
Addy slowly turned back around to where the huge clock was, It was supposed to say they had '00:26:42' but instead, it said they had '00:05:07' left to leave.
Addy immediately started to look around to see if she could see her best friend, Cassie in the crowd. But she only saw angels running past her, some already flying with some even pushing Addy out of the way
"CASSIE!" Addy yelled, extremely loud to try to make Cassie hear her "CASSIE!!" Addy then remembered that she saw Cassie run into an alleyway when the extermination started.
Addy then tried to run into the same alleyway that Cassie ran through "CASSI-" But then Addy was grabbed by the stomach by another angel, once the angel had a good enough grasp on Addy he started to fly to the pentagram while Addy begged the Angel that was holding her to wait for her friend to come but the angel didn't budge.
Addy then felt tears in her eyes slide off of her cheek and into the night sky, She then looked at the clock '00:03:12' It takes about two minutes to fly up and get back into heaven. The clear sky and air of heaven filled Addy's head telling Addy they made it through the pentagram, The angel holding her, dropped her as soon as they had it through and landed safely. Addy fell to the ground but she quickly got to her feet and turned around to see the pentagram circle halfway closed
"Wait, My friend is still in there!!" Addy called out as she tried to run toward the pentagram circle but was quickly pulled back by two angels, telling her it was too late. Water dripped onto the white angelic floor from Addy's eyes while she struggled against the two Angel, holding her back tightly enough to cut off blood circulation. Addy watches through the gap between the pentagram circle as Cassie starts to walk to the main part of the town in Pride and looks around. Addy saw her mouthing a few words but she was too high up for Addy to hear what she was saying, before long Cassie looked back and up at the huge clock
'00:00:09'
Addy could see Cassie look up at the pentagram and her, so Addy tried again to call for Cassie "CASSIE!!" Addy yelled but she was tugged away and thrown on the floor while the pentagram finally closed
SNAP!!
Addy got up to her feet and ran toward the closed pentagram and started to bang on it with all of her force, thinking, hoping that she could get to open in time for no one to hurt Cassie. "Open it, Cassie is still in there!" Addy yelled at her instructor but only for her instructor to turn around and face the angels that helped with the extermination
"That's why we start heading back to the pentagram when the clock is at?" The instructor asked "Ten minutes left.." The angels all said in unison. Addy stared at the angels that helped with the extermination with an unbelievable amount of betrayal "Good job everybody with the extermination this year, as usual, we will host a party to celebrate your success!" The angels started to clap "What about Cassie.." The instructor looked Addy deep in her eyes and just said.
"Cassie is dead..." Addy felt something inside of her break and yelled at him "So we're supposed to let our friend die when they get left behind?!" Addy yelled but she knew it couldn't have gone been louder "Well there nothing we can do.." And with that the instructor and the rest of the angels left Addy by the pentagram circle, crying and all alone.
~Back to the present~
Cassie walked up to the entrance of the huge building called the 'hellevator' he sighed and opened the door to see a few imps, Sinner, and a few hellhounds inside. Then she made eye contact with that familiar pink and purple hellhound at the same desk from 2 days ago. Cassie swallowed a huge lump in the back of his throat as he walked up to the hellhound desk before speaking "H-Hey.." The hellhound continued to make eye contact with Cassie with an expression of pure anger and hateful.
"You again.." The hellhound growled at Cassie "Hello..." Cassie said in an uncomfortable voice to the pink and purple hellhound "You almost made me lose my job the other day so give me a good reason why I shouldn't call security on your bitch ass!" The hellhound said while getting up from her seat and pointing at Cassie's with her pink claws
"I have money this time!!" Cassie blurted back her voice containing fear. The hellhound sighed sat back down in her seat and started to tap something on her computer "What ring would you like to travel to?" Cassie didn't think about it so he looked at the broad "Uhh I don't-"
'Hellevator 814, departing for Wrath. In seven minutes.'
A cowboy voice echoed through the station. "Wrath!" Cassie yelled before clearing her throat and speaking again "Wrath please?" She asked more politely this time
The hellhound just rolled her eyes and typed something into her computer "That is 15 dollars.." Cassie handed the hellhound the 20 dollars that she got from that kind stranger '20-15=5' She thought, After a bit the hellhound handed back a ticket for Wrath but Cassie seemed confused
"Where is the $5 buck.?" She asked in a confused voice as the hellhound gave him a smug smile before speaking "What $5 bucks?"
Cassie got even more confused at her words 'I swear I got her $20' Cassie was about to argue with that smart-ass bitch until Cassie heard
'Hellevator 814, departing for Wrath. In two minutes.'
Cassie looked at the hellhound with pure anger but he snatched the Wrath ticket from the hellhound's desk and started to speed-walk towards the hellevator 814
Cassie marched inside the hellevator before it closed. He looked around to see if their any seats left for him to sit down, After a few moments of looking around he noticed an empty seat on the left side of the room. Cassie sat down and noticed another demon next to her,
She guessed that the demon sitting next to her was from the Envy ring which excited her "Hey! What is the Envy ring like?" She was hoping to get a good answer but only got the death glare from the Envy demon so she decided to shut her trap
~In Greed~
"Are you sure this is a good idea.." One of the two imps asked, "Well we don't have a choice..." The other one said, After a little while of walking down a long hallway they reach a huge door that is 2x the size of the imps. They both took a few deep breaths before opening the door and walking in
"Are you the hunters I hired?" The huge demon asked from his desk making the two imps shiver in fear, "Y-Yes we are, my lord" The larger green demon stared at the imps for a moment before turning to his desk opening a drawer, and taking out a few papers
"I made these myself so I can show you two and you two only." The green demon handed the two imps a wanted poster of an exterminator angel, 'Wanted for 100,000' with a picture of the angel "Have you seen this person on the news or such?"
The male imp took the poster and just nodded "Good I want you to bring me that angel brat." The lord demon said firmly "Alive." He added. "If I may my lord, Do you know the exact location of said angel?" The female imp looked at the male one in shock that he would ask that but the larger demon only smiled "That's not my job, it's yours." He said with a little chuckle at the end of his sentence "Now leave, I'm getting a call.." The huge demon ordered the two imps.
