"And our latest story" the reporter read from her notes "Debates have sparked over the morals on how the Justice League involves teenagers and children within their groups. It all started when last night Scarlet Wayne, daughter of millionaire Bruce Wayne, replied to their account after the Gotham Academy incident"
Scarlet's comment was plastered acrosss the screen as they continued.
"Many believe she was offended by the Leagues choice of words, as she was at the Joker event in person, while others are believe she has no trust in the League at all. No one has commented on her reply. Apart from star and Young Jusicte, and former teen titan, member, Beast boy. Who said"
''We can't just go to school or walk around without stares!?! If you got a problem with us text me'
" We will keep you all posted on this story and will have a debate later on to determine who is in the right. However, if the most wealthy can't trust the League, should we?"
The TV was switched off as Scarlet sat arms crossed on the couch. The silence grew as Bruce and her brothers were scattered around the room infront of her. She sighed as she muttered "Hey look, I'm sorry I didn't think-"
"You better be" Bruce said as he began pacing back and forth "I cannot believe you! How did you think that was okay? Now everyone is looking towards you and us and it's a nightmare Scarlet!" Scarlet avoided eye contact for a moment. The feeling of guilt did appear, however, she didn't feel what she had written was wrong. It was something she always pushed for people to look at and talk about. How did the League cope with the younger teammates mental health?
"Now the city of going to be divided, Scarlet. And we don't need more of this. Especially with the Joker" Bruce kept on talking as he through his hands around. As he calmed down he turned to her, as well as her brothers who were surprisingly quiet and they said.
"You need to apologise"
"Let me think about that... No" Scarlet leaned back as she was met with her brothers talking over her. Dick managed to get them to quiet down "Scarlet, I don't want people coming up to me while Im shopping. Apologise"
"Im sorry but I'm sure the big hero's won't care what I think" Scarlet raised an eyebrow. She sighed again "Hey look, I'm sorry to you all. I know this will probably cause problems for us. But I was just really upset, okay? I didn't mean for this to blow up"
"I understand" Bruce replied. However he was still thinking of ways to revolve the situation. "But you need to be careful they might come and get you " he joked.
Scarlet laughed "Ha, can't wait for Batman and Robin to knock on my door"
"But surely you don't dislike the whole of the hero's" Tim mentioned "Like don't you think Beast boy is a bit offended?"Scarlet thought more about this.
She would never put Beast Boy in the 'best friends' category. However, yes, they did have a friendship of greeting each other at gatherings and replying to comments on one another's posts. It was actually a big deal at one time as it was a random friendship no one saw forming. (I will go more in detail about this in the lore book) "It's just my opinion. It's not like I'm close with the guy anyways" Scarlet mumbled.
The boys looked at each other awkwardly realising she wasn't going to change her opinion on the matter. If only they could mention their point of view. However, they all decided that the conversation had ended and they went their own ways for lunch.

Scarlet leaned against the circle window of the old attic. Rain began to spit and she pulled the sleeves of her jumper down to capture the warmth. The old room hadn't been used in years, with the obvious cobwebs and dust surrounding the place, however, to Scarlet the toys hidden away and the unmade dens were her signal no one had been up there. Well to play at least.
The floor door opened and Scarlets head snapped to see her brothers arguing. "Beat it, Todd" Damian snarled as Jason used his head to get up. "Didn't invite us?" Dick joked as all the boys came up to the attic. They all stood looking around the place as old memories faded their head. Scarlet entered their heads as well when she asked why they came up.
"We got bored" Tim spoke picking up some old frames "And we played, guess where Scarlet is" Scarlet rolled her eyes as she scanned the room of her brothers looking at things. Damian was probably the one least interested in exploring the attic. Not that he wouldn't find anything interesting, but the rest had a more personal connection to it.
When Scarlet first joined the household Dick and Jason let her join their club. The club was located in the attic where the would play various games and create many scenarios. Tim would soon shortly follow up in this tradition. However, as time went by the space was more used for when the kids wanted to be left alone or just was not used at all. It quite stung Scarlets heart knowing they had played in the attic for the final time and they had no idea about it.
She climbed off the ledge to join them as they all began searching the boxes. The further you went the deeper the history followed. Scarlet went behind some piles to open a familiar chest. As the dust fell down opening the top her smile grew. Her hands reached out to a small ballet dress. Turning to Tim she squealed "Look how small I was! It's so cute"
"Is my stuff in there as well?" He came over looking at the box of old ballet gear. Though ballet was never a main focus in Scarlet's mind anymore, she was grateful Alfred kept all her dresses and shoes. He was the one to take her to every rehearsal after all. She slowly picked up a wooden figure from the box and smiled remembering when she was around fourteen.
Jason commented from afar "That nutcracker still creeps me out"
Scarlet frowned "Stop it, I'm having a moment"
"Sorry continue as if you're an old woman" Jason joked as he continued his search. He began trying to dig out a number of boxes.
Scarlet looked at the little nutcracker. How she had danced with him as she played Clara. Gotham was shocked to hear when the young Wayne had stopped attending the dance lessons. Especially after her Clara performance. However, Scarlet knew she never wanted to do it professionally and viewed it as a very lovable hobby. Piano then followed from that.
(Sorry if that's quite a dump but it's a big part about her and also piano and completely forgot to add it until now)
"Yes!" Jason cheered pulled jackets out of the box. Everyone gathered to see what he had discovered "I left these when I moved out. Probably mad at Bruce or something. I thought they were in the bin but I guess Alfred kept them" Jason smirked putting one of the jackets on. It was a black leather jacket with some red lines up the arms. "Every day you surprise me" Damian said rolling his eyes at Jason excitement towards the jackets.
"Ha! Look at this" Dick pulled out some old toys "Remember this? I remember begging Bruce for it" Dick looked out an old toy gun he used to chase his siblings with. He began to pretend to point at them all "Hands up"
"You better be careful" Tim added as he pulled out a sword "As I have one of these.... With magic powers that could defend myself from the gun" The siblings laughed and Scarlet got up to explore the attic as well. As Dick and Tim playfully fought each other, Scarlet began joining with toy wand "Tim team up!"
"No fair" Dick called out and asked Damian to help. With a sigh, Damian smirked and grabbed the smaller toy gun Dick had thrown to him. As they continued their playful fight, they turned to Jason to see which team he would join. He smirked as his hood was up "I think you forget... I work for myself" he pulled a toy now and arrow out and began shoot at his siblings.
"Run!" Scarlet called as they began to make their way to the wooden trap door "We can get them outside!" Soon enough, just as they did long ago, they all began going downstairs into the manor to play.
Maybe that was the last time they played in the attic?

Bruce finished sipping on his coffee as he began doing his research on the case. He was scanning the data from the school computer, and using a software to see what was recently opened during the Joker attack. It would also highlight what was downloaded from it. As his eyes squinted analysing the records he noticed a folder that had been opened.
"Student records" he mumbled wondering what information the Joker would take from this. However, before he could investigate further a call came into the Bat Computer. Bruce sighed as he answered "I'm slightly busy, Kent"
"Hello, to you too" the cheerful man said back. It was superman, as well as other members on a video call. Bruce groaned putting his hands on his head. He completely forgot what Scarlet had done. "Look I couldn't control -"
"Oh we know bats' " Barry joked "Just a little funny how she's the one who can go against the Batman" Bruce gave him a look to ensure he did not enjoy the nickname of 'bats' . If Wonder Woman hadn't spoken with an idea he would've continued his investigation.
"I feel if she met some of the team and understood their side it could soften things up" she had spoken softly "Though we have other issues on our hand, especially Batman with his Gotham situation, we need to ensure the public stays on our side"
"I'm sure it will get brushed over" The Flash mentioned. However they couldn't take any chances with the messy news lately. To end the conversation quickly Bruce said " I'll do my best. But can't promise anything" The members nodded. After further discussions, one by one each member left the call until it was just Superman and Wonder Woman on the call.
"We understand your worries, Bruce. But Scarlet interacting with the teams in a calm environment won't harm her" Superman spoke. Bruce only nodded before ending the call to continue his investigation.
