most of the first period was talking to the shiketsu students, before aizawa demanded everyone to 'do something more productive'. so, you were currently in the girls changing rooms changing into your hero costume.
camie was with you and all the other girls as she was also changing. "you girls are all like super pretty, we'll all be great friends!" the other girls agreed, but you could only nod. you looked her up and down, her black bodysuit clinging to all her curves perfectly. she had a great body, which you were sure all the guys drooled over. you just hoped to yourself that bakugou wouldn't be one of those guys.
it was stupid to be so uneasy around her even though you'd never spoken to her before, but the way she kept staring over at bakugou made you uncomfortable. he usually got stares from other girls around campus, but they were just stares - there was no acting on it. but you could tell that camie was a confident social-butterfly, so if she wanted to act on anything she could.
you shrugged the thought out of your mind as you finished getting ready. the other girls were still taking their time, so only you and camie were dressed. "hey." she tapped on your shoulder. "want to head to the training ground it's so hot in here the air might make me break out."
hesitantly, you nodded as you walked out of the changing room with camie at your side. "so, what's your name?" she looked at you with large doe eyes as she fluttered her long eyelashes.
"f/n l/n." you wouldn't be hostile to the girl for a few glances in your boyfriend's direction - that would be stupid and unfair. camie seemed nice, so you'd be nice in return.
"that's such a cute name!" as camie spoke, the two of you reached the entrance to the training ground where you saw three figures. bakugou, kaminari and kirishima were stood together talking.
camie suddenly slowed her pace, lowering her head to whisper to you. "oh my gosh, speaking of cute.." she used her eyes to point in the direction of the three boys. you suddenly began to feel uneasy again.
"okay since we're friend now l/n, you've gotta tell me.." she grabbed your hands in hers. "..any boys caught your attention?" you weren't sure how to answer, but you didn't have to since she kept talking.
"because someone's caught mine and i want a girl to talk about it with!" she suddenly wrapped your arms around you as she pulled you into a hug, then retracted herself a few seconds later. "oh we're going to be such good friends i just know it."
you hadn't said anything other than your name so you just slowly nodded at the girl. her eyes lit up as she looked around then back at you. "okay so, girl talk! do you know if bakugou is dating anyone?"
you throat closed up and all of a sudden your head felt light. you promised yourself you'd try be welcoming to the girl, but it was difficult when she was trying to go after your kind of boyfriend? the two of you had never officially used the words boyfriend or girlfriend but the two of you were basically together so did that automatically make him your boyfriend.
"hello? l/n?" camie waved her hand in front of your eyes.
"yeah. bakugou's got a girlfriend." your voice was firm, it almost sounded angry. camie pouted, her eyebrows furrowing slightly.
"aw what a bummer!" she looked over in his direction again. "who is it then? his girlfriend?" you weren't sure how to say that she was looking right at her. you stayed silent for some time, not sure how to respond to the girl. camie raised a brow then clicked her tongue as she grew impatient. "you can't just tell me he has a girlfriend then. not tell me wh-"
you felt two strong arms wrap around your waist from behind. you looked over to wherever the boys had been but only kaminari and kirishima stood there, both gawking. you spun your head slightly to see bakugou behind you.
camie's eyes widened when you looked at her again. finally piecing it all together she ran her tongue along her top teeth and gave you a sickly sweet smile. "we really will be great friends, l/n." with that, she spun and walked over to inasa who had just arrived with todoroki.
"what was that all about?" bakugou spoke into your ear. you directed your gaze down to the floor. due to your lack of response, he loosely gripped his hands on your hips and spun you around to face him. you looked up in shock to see him looking down at you. "was she bothering you?"
you took a quick glance over in her direction before looking back at bakugou. he noticed and his grip around you tightened. "i don't know what she said but i'll make sure she never comes near you again." you felt his grip loosen as he was about to walk over to camie but you grabbed one of his gauntlets to hold him back.
"she didn't say anything, don't worry." he gave you a look of confusion, which was honestly the cutest thing you've ever seen. "everything's fine." he nodded, shooting you a small smile before placing his usual frown back onto his face as the rest of the students and mr aizawa appeared.
as you listened to mr aizawa talk about the exercise you'd be doing you couldn't help but think about what you said.
"everything's fine."
you said it to reassure bakugou, but honestly, you were mainly trying to reassure yourself.

mr aizawa split everyone into six groups of four, considering there were twenty four of you for today. you stood in your group with uraraka, sero and inasa. they were all pumped, which also lifted your spirits aswell. you were a strong team, with all of your quirks together you had a good chance at winning.

the drill was relatively straight forward. each member of every team would have a sensor on them and when it was touched or tagged by the other team, that team would receive one point. the goal was to gain the most points after five minutes.
first of all it was bakugou's team against midoriya's team. you have to admit you were just staring at bakugou the entire time. then again, you had always loved watching him fight, he was strong and had good technique.
"uraraka, your team will go up against kaminari's team."
your eyes drifted over to kaminari to scout out your opponents. there was, of course, kaminari who stood beside todoroki, hagakure and...camie. her eyes met yours and she sent you a friendly smile. at first, you thought maybe she was over the whole bakugou thing until her smile turned into a disgusted grimace.
"please enter the training area. you'll have five minutes to plan your attacks as a team."
you walked beside uraraka, who kept spouting positive affirmations. you smiled at the sight of the girl, wondering how she could be so positive all the time.
"okay guys let's plan." sero said, as your team stood in a circle. "the easiest way to get points would be ambushing them when they're in one large group."
"but they would know that." inasa piped up. "so they might split up." sero nodded his head slowly in agreement.
"then we need to get them in a group." you said, as the other three nodded.
you didn't have a lot of time to plan so the idea was rushed and imperfect, but it could work. the four of you all put your hands in the middle before inasa used his quirk to propel all of you and himself into the higher parts of the training center.
with the high ground you would all be able to scout the locations of the other team. unfortunately, none of you were great at recon, so the high ground was your only advantage at the moment.
on your command, sero began taping around the area to create a sticky cage ready for the opposing team. something felt off, almost as if there was another presence. who was on their team again.
you looked over to uraraka who was a few paces to the left of you. behind her there was a..floating sensor? then suddenly it hit you. you turned the light you absorbed into energy and sped towards her pushing her out of the way of the invisible girl that was most likely going after the sensor on her hip.
"darn it!" hakagure said in frustration. bad idea. inasa caught on and saw the sensor that was attached to her. she was invisible but her sensor wasn't. he used a wind current to blow her into the cage sero had made.
sero shot you some of his tape as you sped over to where she was tangled in the tape. before she could pry herself free you circled around her again and again, wrapping her in another binding of tape, making sure to leave her sensor open. you took the chance, placing your hand on it. it turned red for a moment, before returning to its usual grey colour.
you looked beside you as you saw kaminari a few metres away. you would catch him then throw him into the cage. you quickly looked over to the rest of your team, inasa was fighting todoroki whilst sero and uraraka were assisting and repeatedly pressing hagakures sensor. were they allowed to do that? eh whatever, more points at least.
after confirming they were all okay you decided to go after kaminari. the boy ran once he saw you coming. you swerved between the alleyways as you chased after him. was he always this fast?
you turned another corner to see a dead end and no sign of kaminari. you looked around, making sure to remain in a fighting stance. suddenly a hand crept onto your hip where you had your sensor.
you jumped away, but not in time. the sensor turned red, meaning that the person had been successful in tagging you. you looked up to see..not kaminari, but camie.
"i honestly thought you were smarter." she let out a small giggle. "but all it took to get you away from your group was a simple illusion." your eyes widened for a moment before you glared at her. that was why kaminari was so fast, he wasn't real.
suddenly, she sprung at you making you dodge. she lunged again, scratching your cheek with her long nails. she was quick and light on her feet and there was enough power behind her attacks to do some damage - but her attacks were repetitive.
she was predictable.
she was about to lunge again. when her body began to move towards you, you dodged and made it behind her with incredible speed. without giving her time to think, you grabbed her arm as you kicked the back of her leg making her knees buckle. you threw her over your shoulder, launching her into the wall.
she needed a moment to recover so you took the chance to hurl her over your shoulder and used your quirk to return to the others within a matter of seconds. you saw the real kaminari also tangled up within sero's cage. his hands had been wrapped over and over to prevent him from using his quirk.
todoroki was attempting to save his other teammates but inasa and uraraka were making it difficult. "sero!" you called out to him and once he saw camie he practically read your mind. the girl had composed herself and was about to pull herself away from you but before she could she was trapped within sero's web.
she narrowed her eyes at you and you could see a bruise forming on her cheek from where she smacked against the wall. it wasn't your fault she couldn't fight.
uraraka saw you on the ground and hopped down to you, making you weightless so you could join in the fight with todoroki. you were about to lunch at him when an alarm sounded.
five minutes was up.
sero unwrapped the other other team, apologising over and over. hagakure and kaminari were just laughing it off but camie just stared at you with a look that made you feel uneasy.
uraraka came up beside you. "hey let's go." you nodded as the two of you walked out of the training area, followed by the others.
"the score was 14 to 3, meaning uraraka's team won."
inasa immediately apologised. "i'm sorry guys, kaminari snuck up on me whilst i was fighting todoroki and tagged me."
"don't worry i got tagged by him aswell." sero laughed.
"then where did their third point come from?" the three went silent before turning their heads to you.
"i let my guard down." you felt terrible. for being one of the strongest in your class you performed pretty poorly. you shouldn't have ran after that illusion without letting the others know where you were going. and you should've moved quicker away from camie - and paid more attention to your surroundings.
"it's fine, f/n!" uraraka patted you on the head. "we won so its all good!" you smiled at the girl, feeling a little bit better. "you might want to go to recovery girl though, your cheek looks painful." huh. your cheek? you brought your hand up to the cheek that camie had scratched. that girl must've had claws because once you took your hand away there was blood covering your fingers. quite a lot of it.
"oh damn. i'll go after class." uraraka nodded as she walked over to tsu to watch the next match. you were about to go find mina before a hand gripped your shoulder.
you spun around to be met with worried vermillion eyes. bakugou didn't say anything as he gently brought his hand up to brush your injured cheek. you tried not to flinch but he noticed your reaction, locking his jaw. "that girl's like a rabid dog. lets go to recovery girl."
"i'm fine katsuki."
"shut up, we're getting it treated right now." you didn't argue as he took your hand in his and began pulling you towards campus. you looked around your shoulder to see mina smirking widely at the two of you.
bakugou had been walking quickly, so you reached campus within a few minutes. the two of you stopped outside of recovery girl's office as bakugou released a string of curses from his mouth.

"what kind of fucking school nurse leaves her post." he grumbled before opening the door anyway revealing an empty office. he pointed over to one of the beds. "sit." you obliged, sitting on the edge of the bed as you watched him rummage through cupboards.
he pulled out a chair, sitting opposite you as he started cleaning some of the blood from your cuts. "fuck, you need to be careful." you hummed in response, making sure not to fidget too much.
"you made up for it by slamming her into a wall though." that made you laugh and a small smile cracked onto your lips. "there's that smile." he said as his eyes travelled from your eyes to your lips.
he looked away, applying some rubbing alcohol onto a cotton pad. "this might hurt." he warned before i began rubbing it over your cuts.
you winced as you unconsciously gripped his bicep. he raised a brow at you before a small smirk crept onto his lips. he put a plaster over the injury and was done. for a moment the two of you just stared at each other and your eyes couldn't help but travel all over his face, lingering over his lips.
bakugou shifted closer to you as he placed his hand on the back of your neck. your eyes drifted back up to his as you leaned in slightly. you didn't even have to tell him what you wanted. he knew.
without hesitation his lips collided with yours. it felt as if jolts of electricity were shooting down your spine. his touch on the back of your neck burned with passion as you gripped his bicep tighter, deepening the kiss. your lips moved in sync and in that moment everything left your mind. all you could think of was him. he was intoxicating.
you pulled away, breathing heavily as you rested your forehead against his. bakugou tilted your face to plant a kiss over the plaster on your cheek before looking into your eyes.
"you have no idea how long i've wanted to do that." he was about to lean in again before the door slammed open to reveal the little old lady who had returned from whatever she was doing.
"what are you kids doing here?" she raised a brow, her eyes darting between you and the ash blonde.
"i had an injury but i'm all patched up now." recovery girl nodded then pointed to the door.
"alright get back to class." you stood up, taking a hold of bakugou's wrist before pulling him out of the office.
you were about to walk back to the training grounds before bakugou's hands gripped your waist tugging you back. he placed you against the wall before lowering his face to yours. "can i kiss you again?"
"we should really get back to class." you tilted your head to the side as you leant back against the wall, your back meeting the hard surface.
he smirked at you, making your insides twist. you couldn't hold back your own smirk as you grabbed the collar of his shirt, pushing your lips against his.
his grip tightened on your hips as he pushed you into the wall, his lips moving in sync with yours. you pulled away slightly, your breath still fanning over his lips.
"i suppose we could stay here for a few more minutes."
his smirk widened as his lips collided with yours again.
