I awoke to another day. It's been a hectic few months in this world I've come to know as Eleceed. Especially after having encountered many of the characters within the story, I'm not sure how to feel about it anymore. At first, the desperate need to hide myself from them played a huge part in isolating myself but no matter what I did, I always ended up with them. Coming to terms with the fact, maybe, I just have no choice but to become someone apart of Eleceed from this point on.
Even then, as anyone else who knows what's going to happen in the future, my heart ached of guilt. I cannot change it though. As far as I know, no matter how much I meddled in the story, the main events remained on track. Outside that scope though, there were some differences such as Jiwoo acknowledging me as his hyung and Jisuk continuing to have a hard time accepting Kain for who he is. Wooin showing a side of him I've never seen before, Kayden interfering with my private life aka trying to take my house by force. Inhyuk, Seongha, and Giwook considering me a good friend.
Then, Kains existence in itself was never in the Manwha. It continues to bother me but, I really have no way of answering it either.
"Young master, breakfast is ready" Kain's red eyes turned to the creaking door, out popped Elises head from behind. She smiled upon seeing me. "As usual, the young master is as flawless as when he went to sleep" She giggled, ever so phased by Kains absolute beauty despite having just woken up.
"Lies. I'll take a shower and be down" I said, hearing Elise say "Yes sir" then closing the door lightly before rushing steps ran down the stairs with the groaning sounds of Suho passing by. Mumbling about Kain being old enough to wake himself up while Elise scolded him for saying such things in front of my door. I could only smile.
Finally, after all this time, the house was full of life.
I took a deep breath, smelling the familiar scent of rose shampoo from the three pups all huddled on my bed surrounding the two kittens stacked on one another. Adorable. "Another day of searching for Hua's teenage awakened ones" I stretched, walking to the closet and gathering my uniform before entering the bathroom.
Stripping off the clothes, I paused, looking at the mirror. Before, I couldn't even glance in this reflective glass, let alone do so when naked. Now, as I stared into these red eyes I hardly recognize and long soft red hair draping over smooth porcelain like skinned shoulders, I grimaced. Touching from my shoulder to collarbone, lightly tracing down between Kain's pecks and between the bit of abs showing before stopping just above his pelvis. I sighed. The guy really is just breathtaking. It's shocking he hasn't had a girlfriend yet. Actually, after contemplating for a moment, is Kain a virgin?
I wouldn't be surprised if he was since my life as Sehyun, I had died a virgin. So I really don't mind.
"Haha, what am I thinking? This still isn't my body" I reminded myself, looking away from the mirror then starting the shower, entering. A light blush on my cheeks.
...
"Why are you walking with me?" After having a hearty breakfast and a small conversation with Elise, attending school with a mob of people asking me questions, then walking out just to find Kain's bodyguard waiting out front on his phone with many female students blushing and whispering to one another about the handsome man. I really hoped to be alone but even that seemed too much to ask for. "I don't want to either...Hyung told me to keep an eye on you though." Suho mumbled, hands in his pocket as we walked side by side, awkwardly. Before, Suho was a rather obedient guy who never really showed resentment to Kain when I first came here but after I came back from the Awakened Academy, suddenly, he had no problems making it obvious he disliked Kain to some extent.
Suddenly, Suhos hand grabbed ahold of my arm, pulling me towards him as someone biked right where I stood on the sidewalk. "Hey! There's a bike lane for a reason asshole!!" He yelled, glaring at the person biking away as they threw the middle finger, other people on the side walk also dodging the crazy biker. "Wow, he's lucky he's a citizen.." Suho gritted his teeth, not believing some guy just threw the bird at him until he looked down, watching me flinch away from his chest.
"You alright? You've been spacing out a lot these days" He said, leaning down to see me face to face. This made me jump back, shocked by how close he became out of nowhere. "I'm fine. Just a bit...just thinking about father coming back to Korea soon. Izen told me about his pending return" I looked away. There were many things worrying me at the moment.
Kains father, Ilseong Hua will be coming back to Korea soon. Izen, the secretary is taking over command temporarily. I need to find the teenage awakened ones affiliated with Hua. Then the whole thing with the Dr.Delien incident about to happen. As well as the change in Jiyoung after their talk last night. Many things were bothering me.
"Tch" Suho tutted, standing up straight once he noticed my spacing out again, wondering what could be going on in Kains mind for him to just silence in the middle of explaining.
"You little!! Sons of bitches!! You guys are the fucking worst!! You motherfuckers, I'm gonna fucking kill you!!!" Suho furrowed his brows hearing a tsunami of insults flow into his ear. Turning to the other side of the street, he noticed some familiar faces. "Aren't they your friends from the academy? Do they go to this school?" I blinked, looking up to Suho and followed his gaze until my own eyes landed onto Jiwoo, Wooin, Jisuk, Subin, and Iseul all standing in front of their school exit.
"Ah...yeah. Wait, how do you know that?" Turning to him, my mouth was agape wondering how Suho knew them. "Izen gave me their profiles. Saying they were your first ever friends" He emphasized "first ever" making my frown. "At least I made friends. I'm just sorry you're tied down to me so you can't make any for yourself" I retorted back, although with a dash of mockery earning a glare from the guard. "My friends work with me. On my off days we hang out" He said, blinking as he watched the girl with half and half colored hair running off crying with two jerk kids running after her. Leaving a dumbfounded Jiwoo and uninterested Wooin behind.
"Never asked. Since you said you only hang out with your friends, I can assume you have no lover?" I snickered. "Aren't you like 22? How lonely" Suho gasped, about to grab my shirt just to stop, knowing he can't do a single thing to me. "Ehehehe, that's right. Know your place" I stuck out my tongue, teasing him as he could only fume. "I have dated! I had girlfriends! What about you oh-so-great Kain Hua!? I bet you haven't even kissed anyone!" I shrugged listening to Suho trying to irk me like how I did to him. "So? Doesn't matter. I'm going to loose my first kiss to just anyone~" I smiled, turning to glance at Jiwoo and Wooin only to halt, making eye contact with Wooin who stared at me.
I kept my smile, bowing a little towards him. Then noticing his eyes glance at Suho walking at my side, continuing to give a whole speech of how this meant he's at least superior than me because he, in fact, had his first kiss already.
"You're coming over to my place today as well right?" Jiwoo asked Wooin, whose gaze continued to stay plastered on me across the street, back to him now as I spoke with Suho regarding the whole first kiss again. "No, I'm going to pay a visit to my professor" He responded, observing how close we walked together. "Oh...is he doing well?" Wooin looked down, finally tearing his sights off a certain red haired boy laughing at Suho saying he regrets his first kiss.
"Yes" He said. "Then if you have time after meeting him, come over to my place, okay?" With that, Wooin and Jiwoo started walking in silence again when Jiwoo's eyes caught that of Kain in the distance as well. He was about to yell for his hyung when he noticed someone else at my side. Stopping, just like Wooin, he only observed the duo making their way home. Seemingly close. Somehow, this made both Wooin and Jiwoo slightly down. Perhaps, they aren't the only ones close to Kain as they thought they were.

"Why are you ranting to me about your love life?! Shut up!!" I yelled, throwing my bag pack right at Suho who easily caught it, then gently placing it on the nearby couch. Ever since I brought up first kiss, all Suho had been doing was ranting about how much he regretted his first kiss. Somehow, in-between the conversation, it changed to Suho complaining about all the relationships he's had. And potential partners he would've gained.
"It's good for you to listen! If you learn from my mistakes, you won't have to live through heart break and heart break" He explained just for me to run at Elise. "Keep him away from me. He's gone insane" I said, watching her nervously look between me and Suho before immediately grabbing Suho as I ran off into my room, listening to them argue. For extra back up, I opened my door, allowing Kemono, Raon, and Keum to run out, tackling Suho. "Take them for a walk!" I demanded, slamming the door shut just to hear him immediately get them ready. Saying he'll complain to them instead of me from now on.
Meanwhile, I could only let out a light chuckle. Who knew Suho had this side of him as well? Like a child that just wants attention.
...
The next few days, he walked me to and from school, taking my orders to let me walk on my own in one ear and out the other.
At first, I was confused since he also had me coming home early compared to other times. He kept getting regular calls every now and then and disappearing during breakfast and dinner before coming back late into the night. It didn't take long for me to realize it's because of the escaped Klein Brothers.
That is, especially, the text I received from Jiwoo.
'Have you been able to get in contact with Wooin? We havent been able to since yesterday' it read. I furrowed my brows, responding with, 'Unfortunately, no. Is everything alright?' After a few minutes, Jiwoo sent a quick text back. 'We found him, everythings fine' my heart raced. It's time.
'Jiwoo, if you don't mind, send me your live location. It's just in case' Although it took another few minutes, Jiwoo agreed and shared his live location. At this, I ran to my closet, grabbing a black sweater and black sweat pants, a hair tie and tied up Kains long red hair. Turning back around, I made sure to enclose my room space with a bit of my power so Suho or Elise couldn't figure out of I was gone until way later. Not too much to where it's be suspicious but not so little my presence is completely gone.
Opening my window, I jumped out with my hood on. Sprinting without my power until I was a good enough distance away from the house before flowing some of it into my legs, enhancing my strength as I squatted down, taking a deep breath as the electric attribute played along my leg muscles. I jumped up with all my might, yelping when the height I had jumped was enough to reach a 5 story building near by.
Not expecting this much power nor trained to land at this high speed nor height, I ended up tumbling on the roof, rolling til my body hit the gated ledge. "Oof!" I groaned upon impact, slowly getting up and dusting myself off, glad no one else saw my rough landing. I scratched the back of my head. It was a lot easier to use my ability now compared to when I trained at the cliffs. Back then, I had to use everything I had in my power to jump half way but now, even with a little bit, I can easily hurdle a 6 story hotel.
"Wow, hyungs force control is way scarier than I thought" I admitted to myself, gulping as I felt the force control flowing through my body without me having to concentrate on it. Looking around, I glanced down at my phone to find Jiwoos location. He's about 5 miles from me. Meaning I have to jump over 5 miles of structures to get to him?
While also saving as much of my power as possible?
I sighed. Oh well, without wasting another second, I tugged my black hood over my head, making sure not even a strand of red hair was loose as I focused some power into my legs again. Adjusting the amount to where I wouldn't missile my way to the next roof but simply land on it.
After having powered up enough, or at least what I assumed is enough, I ran towards the ledge, leaping off the last bit of surface and flew into the air, having another rough landing on the next stop. "Haaaaah hahah" I panted. Its fun. Exhilarating even. Figuring out how to use my ability from the very start. Having to adjust my ability to my will while also learning how to land on hard ground. As well as feeling free amongst Seoul as city life continued below me. I can see why some get drunk over their power. Still, I can't be bothered by this feeling. A more important matter is of the essence.
Staring down at my phone, I gulped. Biting my lip. I hope I don't get there too late, Jiwoo. Your inexperienced awakened Hyung is on his way!
