Katie's P.O.V
I rolled over to turn my phone alarm off I sat up and read through the text Nessa had sent, I loved Hannah she was a great sister but Vanessa she's just different. I texted her back:
Me: 'Morning <3 Can I meet you for lunch one day? I have a half day tomorrow if that would suit you? xoxo'
And then got out of bed a jumped in the shower, once I got out I checked my phone but she hadn't replied but I did have a text from Jake saying..
Jake: 'Morning Katie! Can you tell your sister to check her phone? I'm trying to set up a surprise birthday party for Nessa :) xx'
Me: 'Morning!! Yeah, I'll leave her a note :D x'
Jake: 'Thank you <3'
Did he have to be so cute, you're not helping any Jake.
I put my phone back down and started getting ready for school, packing my bag and doing my hair! I then hoped down the stairs and made myself some toast for breakfast and brushed my teeth I scribbled down a note for Hannah and tiptoed into her room and stuck it to her mirror and then started on my lonely walk to school, I put my headphones in and started listening to One Direction as I walked.
I was sitting in my first period class Math when my phone vibrated in my pocket I carefully took it out it was Vanessa.
Nessa: 'Morning <3 Yeah, I'm free tomorrow! (: xox'
Me: 'Yayayayayy! Could you pick me up at 12:30 from school? :D xx'
Nessa: 'Yes of course! Now go back to learning missy :) xox'
Me: 'On it :P Good luck for your exam :) x'
Nessa: 'Thanks cutie! Have a good day :D xo'
I put my phone back in my pocket and started paying attention again which is rather hard when Maths is by far my worst subject.
Vanessa's P.O.V
I had just gotten out of the shower and was making breakfast, when there was a knock at the door. "Who is it?" I asked while walking over to it my toast in my hand. "It's Luke!" Luke's sleepy voice said through the door. I opened the door and Luke came in shutting the door behind him. "Good morning." I say pressing my lips to his. "Morning." He mumbles against my lips, I wrap my arms around his neck accidentally dropping my toast on the floor, his hands snaked around my waist pulling me closer our make out session went on for another few minutes I was first to break away. "I love you! But you made me drop my toast!" I say kissing his nose. "I'll make you more." He say's walking into the kitchen holding my hand pulling me along with him, he picked me up and sat me down on the bench and he begun making my Vegemite on toast, he passed me the plate after taking a bite out of each piece. "Thank you!" I say before munching it down! After eating I got the piece of toast I had dropped and put it in the bin, luckily it wasn't buttered side down or I'd have to clean up that to but it was only a few crumbs that I would be able to lux up later. "Ready to go?" Luke asks when I walk into the kitchen. "Yep!" I say grabbing my bag off the bench. "After you!" Luke say's opening the front door for me. "Arn't you the gentlemen." I say walking out the door. "I try!" He say's following me out the door, he intwins our hands together and we walk to school. "Nessa are you busy on Saturday?" Luke asked. "Nope!" I say. "Well would you like to go on a date with me?" He asks nervously. "Of course!" "I'll pick you up at 7:00." "Okay!" I say, smiling widely at him his shy awkwardness is probably the cutest thing ever. We walk the rest of the way discussing our views on Jalex and laughing uncontrollably.
"Well that's the bell! Thank you all so much for being such a brilliant class, I'll hopefully see some if you next year" Mr Stanton say's, we had all just finished our music exam. "Thank you for being a brilliant teacher." I say, everyone cheers and claps in response. "Thanks guy's! Have a wicked holiday you lot." We all filed out of the classroom saying our goodbyes to him. "And that my friends is a great way to end the school year!" Calum say's wrapping his arms around mine and Luke's shoulders. "No more school for a few months, yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!" I say. We all chat excitedly about what we're going to do in the holidays and about the tour as we walk to the school gate, I see Jess sitting down on the grass leaning on a tree on her phone. I was about to yell out to her but Ashton bet me to it. "Jess? What are you doing here?" He asked. Her head popped up from her phone and she stood up from her spot by the tree. "I have a date with Vanessa." She say's walking towards us her wide smile on her face. "Yes, so goodbye.." I say kissing Luke on the cheek and following Jess in the opposite direction. "Where to?" I ask. "I don't know about you but I am starving, so lunch and we'll go from there." Jess say's. "Sounds like a plan." I say, we end up at this cute little cafe near the mall we walk up to the counter and get greeted by a guy around 18. "Hello ladies, what can I get you?" He asks. "Can I please get a hot chocolate and that sandwich oh and a banana chip muffin." I say pointing out the things I wanted. "Of course, that'll be $11.50." He say's, I handed him my money and moved over a bi so he could serve Jess. "Take a seat and I'll bring it over." He say's to us, we turn and scan around for a good table there was only one table occupied by a old couple drinking coffees and sharing a scone, it was quite cute! We walked over and took the table by the window, we started a conversation about what to do next when the guy gave us our food. "Thank you!" I say as he placed it carefully in front of us. "No problem, give me a yell if you need anything." He say's and heads into the back room. "He was awfully friendly." Jess say's laughing a little. "Yeah." I say laughing too. "Ash mentioned it was your birthday soon, I have the perfect present for you." She say's. "You don't have to get me anything Jess." "You got me like the best birthday present ever, so I have to try top it." "Fine!" "Don't you like presents?" "I just hate all the attention being on me." "Understandable, but I'm still getting you a present." "If you must." I say. "Where to next?" Jess say's. "You're going to think I'm crazy but can we go shopping?" I ask. "Um, of course we can! But why?" "I ave a date Saturday night and I need something nice to wear." I say. "Well you have the right girl." Jess say's excitedly. "Before you even start no pink, ok?" "Yes boss." She say's laughing. We carry on chatting about random stuff and nibbling away on our food. "Time to hit the road." I say. "Yeah! Before I order more cake." She say's laughing. We stack our mess and leave a tip for mr friendly and walk out the door in the direction of the mall.
"That dress is calling my name, don't you hear it Vanessa?" Jess say's as I pull her away from the overpriced dress she had fallen in love with. "It's to expensive, move on Jess." "Okay, okay! Damn, if I came shopping with you more often I wouldn't spend so much money." She say's laughing. "There's and idea." I say, we carry on flicking through the racks looking for something for me to wear on Saturday. "What about this one?" Jess say's holding up a red, short, tight dress , that looked like something a hooker would wear. "Is this your way of telling me I should become a hooker to get money?" I ask laughing. "Pfft no!" She say's jokingly and puts it back on the rack and carry's on looking. "Would this on be okay?" I ask pulling out a dark blue dress I quite liked it. "Try it on." She suggests pulling me towards the changing rooms. I walk in and quickly change into it, I unlock the door and step out to show Jess. "Oh my god!" She say's. "Is it that bad?" I ask. "Are you kidding? You look amazing." She say's jumping up and down clapping. "Oh!" I say, I turn and look in the mirror I didn't look to bad I twirled around a little bit. "You have to buy it." "I'm going to!" I say and get changed back into my other clothes and then I go up to the counter and buy it. "Do you need shoes?" Jess asks. "Um, it depends what kind of shoes should I wear?" "I think you should wear either flats or some cute sandals or something." She say's. "I guess we're going shoe shopping then because I do not own either of them!" I say as we walk into the closest shoe shop. "Something like this.." Jess say's holding up a pair of black ballets flats with bows. "Do I look like Ariana Grande, I do not to bows." I say which just made Jess laugh. "So no bows! What about these?" She say's holding up a pair of silver plain flats. "I'd rather die." I say, being quite seriously. "So no silver! These?" She say's holding up a pair of sparkly black flats. "Sparkles equal no." "So no sparkles! These ones?" She say's holding up a pair of black ankle boats that had studs on them. "Okay, I like them!" I say. "What size feet ar you?" She asks. "Um, like a 8." I say, she passes me a box I take of my shoes and try them on, the fitted good and they looked good. "Thoughts?" I say looking up at Jess. "I love them and since we're the same size I will steal them in the near future." She say's. "I'll buy them then." I say, taking them off and putting them in the box and putting my converse back on. "Yus!" She say's, we walk to the counter and pay and then end up in the music shop. "Hey, this shop has nothing to do with your date." Jess say's. "You can't just not go to the music store." I say while flicking through the posters I cam across a One Direction poster. "Oh look it's Louis!" I say. "Where?" She say's running over. "I have that one." She say's laughing. "You probably have them all." I say. "Most of them." I keep flicking through, but don't find any posters that I don't already have so I start looking through the CD's. "Looking for anything in particular?" Jess asks. "Nope! Just looking." "Very productive." She say's laughing. "Okay, we can go now." I say and we walk out of the shop. "Need anything else?" Jess asks. "Not that I can think of, oh wait yes I need a necklace." I say. "Right this way." She say's leading me to a shop that must sell jewelry. We didn't stay long, I bought a long necklace that had a bird cage hanging off it and a short one with a little bird pendent. "A very successful day shopping." Jess say's. "You didn't buy anything?" I say. "Yeah! But the stuff you bought I'm going to steal so it benefits both of us." She say's laughing. "I'll probably never wear the dress again but I really love these shows." "Those shoes are very cool, well looks like I'll be getting a new dress then." We carried on talking about random stuff as we walked back to my house.
Hannah's P.O.V
I had just got home and was about to have a shower but my phone started ringing in my bag, I looked through the mountain of stuff that had been chucked in my bag for it, when I found it I quickly answered before they could hang up. "Hello!" I say. "Hey Hannah, it's Calum are you busy?" Calum's voice rung through the phone nervously. "Hey Cal, uh no." I say. "Can we meet at the park I need to talk to you." "Uh yeah, what park?" I ask. "It's just down the road from your house." "Oh that one, yep sure!" "Cool, see you soon!" "Okay, bye." I say and hang up. Would could he want? I quickly checked my reflection and fixd my hair and then got my bag and left for the park, Calum must have been close by because he was already sitting on a swing. "Hey!" I said sitting down on the swing beside him. "Hey!" "What's up?" I asked. "Um! Well, Hannah I haven't stopped thinking about you since the day you showed up at Vanessa's house and I really, really like you and I know I said I wanted to take a break from being in a relationship but I just really like you and I don't want you to slip away from me." He say's while looking deep into my eye's. "Oh!" Was all I could say. "Cal, I like you too! But Stacey she's one of Vanessa's best friends and I don't want them to fall out because of me." I say. "Stacey's cool with it, she won't mind." "I can't I'm sorry." I say and get up from the swing and walk in the direction of my house, but someone grabs my hand and pulls me to face them, it was Calum he gives me no time to say anything and connects our lips together soft but like he had been waiting to long for this moment, it was a lot different from our first kiss because the first time we were both drunk and Calum was more aggressive then but today he was being gentle and soft. "Just give me a chance?" He asks, after pulling away. "I'll think about it." I say and then turn and walk away for a second time this time I don't get pulled back he leaves me to walk home in peace but instead of going home I go to Vanessa's. I was about to open the front door and walk in but then the door opened and Jess came out. "Hey Hannah!" She say's smiling. "Hey Jess!" I say. "Vanessa's up in her room." She say's and walks down the path. "Thanks!" I say and walk in the open door shutting it behind me and walk up the stairs. "Nessa?" I say outside her shut door. "Come in!" She yells, I open up and find her lying on her stomach on her laptop. "What's up?" She asks as I take a seat beside her. "I don't know what to do." I say, she closed her laptop and sat up crossing her legs in front of me. "What happened?" She asks. "Calum he told me that he likes me and then he kissed me and he wants me to give him a chance and I said I'll think about it and I really just don't know what to do." I say. "Do you like him?" "Yes! A lot, more than I've ever liked a guy before." "Even Niall?" She joked. "That's different!" I say laughing. "I say, you go for it! You're never going to know if you don't try." "But Stacey?" "She's my friend not yours." "Yeah! But she'll get mad at you for letting me." "I can look after myself. Just give him a chance, he likes you loads." "Okay!" I say smiling widely I take my phone out. "STOP!!" Vanessa yelled, I look up in confusion. "What?" I ask. "Give him time to get desperate." She say's laughing. "You're one evil match maker." "Yes I know!" We both start laughing. "Want to stay for dinner, Jake's staying at Dan's the night because they have this soccer thing in the morning." Nessa asks. "Of course, I'll just text mum." I say typing a quick text to mum and then following Nessa down stairs and into the kitchen. "What we having?" I ask. "I was thinking pasta salad?" "Sounds great, need any help?" "Yeah! Can you do the pasta?" "Sure thing!" I say and start boiling the water while Vanessa starts chopping up the salad ingredients. "How long should I wait to text him?" "A few hours." "The poor guy's probably passing his bedroom." I say. Vanessa's phone goes off and she starts laughing while reading the text message. "What?" I ask, she shows me the text it was from Luke and said: 'Any idea why Calum can't sit still? He's walked around my bedroom for the past 30 minutes at least 100 times :P xx' "I'm a horrible person!" I say. "Just text him." Vanessa say's after taping away on her phone then going back to chopping. "Okay!" I say, I get my phone out and send him a text saying..
Me: 'Heyyy! You can sit still now.. (: Yes! <3 xo'
Cal: 'REALLY!???????'
Me: 'Yeah! I'm never going to know if I don't try :) Thank Nessa for all the wise words <3 x'
Cal: 'I knew there was a reason I'm best friends with her :D Are you free Saturday? <3 xoxox'
Me: 'Yes I am :) xo'
Cal: 'Can I take you on a date? :D x'
Me: 'Of course :) xox'
Cal: 'Yayayayayyayayayyyyy! I'll pick you up at 7:00 ? :D xo'
Me: 'Okay :) I have to go cook pasta, text you later :) x'
Cal: 'Bye Beautiful <3 xox'
He was actually the cutest guy in the universe. "I need your help on Saturday?" I say. "And why would this be?" "I have a date with Calum." I say, I could tell my cheeks were going red. "I'd love to help but I have my own date." "Can we just get ready together?" I suggest. "There's and idea!" She say's laughing. "Brilliant!" I say, and put the pasta in the pot and set the timer. "You have 11 minutes!" "Challenge accepted." Vanessa say's laughing.
Vanessa's P.O.V
Hannah and I had finished cleaning and eating and were now watching The Notebook with ice cream and popcorn on the couch, we had decided a sleepover was long overdue and had gone down to the DVD store and got out all our favorites, stocked up on junk food and went to her house and got her sleepover gear. "I love this bit!" Hannah said while stuffing her mouth with popcorn. "Classy." I say laughing. "It's a talent." She say's sarcastically. We carry on watching movies the whole night but end up falling asleep half way through Peter Pan.
"They're quite cute." I hear a voice and then a snap of a camera, I flutter my eyes open to find Luke and Cal standing in front of me both on there phones. "Can I help you?" I asked. "You're up!!" Luke say's excitedly and bends down so we were at eye level. "Good morning!" He say's. "Morning!! How'd you get in?" I ask. "I know where you keep the spare key!" He say's. "Oh! What do you want?" I ask. "Just wanted to say hi!" "You've said hi, can you go now! I'm trying to sleep." Hannah say's from the other end of the couch. "What she said." I say. "Fine, we're leaving! Have a nice day ladies." Cal say's. "Bye!" We both say and both go back to sleep not saying another word until my 11:30 alarm goes off. "WE'RE ON HOLIDAY VANESSA! Why do you need an alarm?" Hannah yelled. "I'm meeting Katie for lunch! You're welcome to stay here, I'll be back in like an hour!" I say getting up from the couch. "Okay! I'm going back to sleep." She say's and rolls over. "Alright!" I say and walk upstairs and jump in the shower, I pick out a pair of black skinny jeans and my mickey mouse sweater, I tie my long hair into a tidy ponytail, put my red vans on and but my phone, wallet, and sunglasses in my handbag and then I open my curtains and walk down stairs tiptoeing past the lounge door and walk out to my car locking the front door behind me. When I get in my car I quickly sent Katie a text saying..
Me: 'On my way <3 x'
Katie: 'Okay, see you soon! :D x'
I put my phone in my bag and drove to pick her up, I really had no idea what she needed advice about, but I'll soon find out...

Hey! :D So I found out today that I can't go back to school until the 21st of March and that's aggggggeeeeeeesssss away and it get's so boring at home so there will be many updates over the next week or so :) What are your thoughts on Cal and Hannah ? (: And yeah, I'm pretty sure exams don't finish this early but oh well :P It will be fine <3 And if you were wondering Peter Pan is actually one of my favourite movies :P Anyway, thank you for reading <3 Please leave comments and please vote :)
