Natalie is my therapist, I did the opposite of what she told me to do, which was drink. I prop myself up quickly. Way too quickly.
"ugh," I say holding my head. I get up and go to the couch. "D," I whisper. "Hey b," Diego says quietly
"Come," I say walking into my room. He sits on the bed.
"What happened last night b?" Diego says
"Pablo and I got into an argument about us on the beach," I say
"Us?" He says. I inhale. As I remember everything.
"Back in 2021, Pablo and I got into an argument over him distancing himself from me, Very hurtful things were said," I say with a shaky voice.
He nods. "Hey b don't cry," Diego says. "I can't d, Im tired, Of everything, Of never being enough for anyone, or anything," I say putting my head in my hands. I hate feeling like this.
He rubs my back. "Since when,"He says. He means since when have I felt like this. "Since my first game," I say. I feel him looking at me. He exhales.
"B-" He starts as I get a message. "I have to get ready for the England game," I say. "Wait b, Teo is here," Diego says. "He wants to talk to you," He adds. My smile fades. I haven't talked to him since Monaco. I nod.
I see teo walk in. He sits on the bed. I clear my throat. "Hey b," He says looking at the floor. I nod.
"I'm sorry for everything. I shouldn't have done what I done. I hope you and him can forgive me. I just don't want him to hurt you like Luka did." He says
Though Luka and I were toxic. It wasn't always like that. He did make me feel loved in the beginning. But that's all over.
"I shouldn't have reacted the way I did, And i'm sorry, I'll give you your space but I miss you b," He says.
"I'm still mad but I forgive you for the most part," I say
He smiles faintly.
"I'll see you at the england game," He says getting up
I go to my suitcase and get my makeup bag. He is giving me my "space"
I do my base, Then for my eyes, I put rhinestones, the color of the english flag, Nando, Joao are joining us.
"Vamos, We are going to be late," Nando says behind him is Pedri and Pablo. Him and I make eye contact, I quickly break it, I'm not going to ruin everyone's day over Pablo and I's Drama.
We walk to the elevator and head to the Stadium. We show the security out VIP passes. We make it. The stadium is loud. Really loud, We can barley hear eachother.
I look at the Jumbotron, It's us walking in. The music gets quieter and the DJ announces. "Today, We will be joined by the Mendes sibling accompanied by Pedri and Gavi!"
Everyone starts cheering as we walk to our seats
The seating arrangement is Mateo>Diego>Nando>Me >Pablo>Pedri>Joao. "I can't believe, We are going to be playing here," Nando says to pedri and Gavi,
"I know right," Gavi says.
I look at Pablo and smile, Even tho we haven't talked about what happened, I don't want to ruin anybody's day right now. The Iran team comes out to warm up after 10 minutes the english team comes out
We all get up and cheer.
"Wooooo!!!" I say jumping up. The game starts

I get up and cheer. He does his celebration as I grab onto Nando shoulders as we jump up. "WOOOOO!!!" I hear diego say .

I wake up and walk out of my room, I see Diego and Teo in a deep sleep on the couches. I'm in the kitchen getting a yogurt. I hear a knock at the door.
"Who is it?" I say
"Uh Im here to deliver something," The voice calls
I walk over and open then door, There's flowers not just any flowers a huge bouquet of roses
"Is Bruna mendes here?" She says.
"Im her," I say as she hands me the flowers.
"How many roses are in here?" I say
"100," She says
I raise my eyebrows. "Whoever got you that must love you," She says laughing. "Thank you so much," I say as she nods and walks away, I close the door with one hand.
I go the kitchen and set it down and see that there is a note. Maybe this will get me the explanation. I open the note

I read the note and I smile, really big. "I love you too," I whisper to myself. Should I love him back? Do I let him back in.
"Who sent you those flowers?" Nando says walking out of his room and sitting on the kitchen.
"No one," I say hiding the note. Nando is skeptical. I go to my room as soon as I close the door. I start spinning happily, I get so dizzy I fall on my bed and scroll on instagram for a bit.
I get up and open the door, I see half on the brazilian team in my kitchen. They don't pay attention to me. Why is there eight grown adults in my kitchen.
"10 euros it was Pedri," Lucas says. Neymar makes a confused face.
"No way, he hasn't shown any interest in her" Rodrygo says. Vini nods.
"Yeah it had to be the other kid," Richarlison says.
"Whoever it is, I need to meet them," Ney says as Nando and Joao hum in unison.

"Gavi? No way, maybe," ralphina says
"Luka?" Mateo says as Diego slaps his head.

"Who sent you the flowers?" Joao says
I realize I have the note in my hand and I quickly hide it.
Joao and Ney look at eachother. They charge at me
"Hold her down!" Joao says as they all hold me up in the air to get the note. "Get off of me!" I scream. While the rest laugh at me.
"Got it!" Mateo says. He skims through the notes
"P. G?" He says. "Who's P. G?" Ney says
"THE SPANISH KID!" Lucas yells.
"Gavi? no," Ralphina says. This cannot be happening right now. "Ooooouuuu," Nando says teasing me
"Bru has a boyfriend," Vini says. "Oooouuuu," Rodrygo and Eder say.
I roll my eyes and sit on the couch. "Bruna and Pablo sitting in a tree," Richarlison says. "K-I-S-S-I-N-G," Vini and Rodrygo says on both sides of my ears.

I get up trying to hit him. I'm chasing him through out the room.
There's a knock on the door. The boys open it
"Hey look it's b's Husband," Richarlison says laughing
I quickly get up and shove richarlison and close the door behind Pablo and I.
"Sorry about that," I say. "It's fine b," He says laughing slightly. "I reckon you received the roses?" He says
"Yeah," I say with a smile. "I love you too," I say
He smiles as he pulls me into a hug.
Of course I love him, He was my first love, Even tho I say I don't, A part of me will always love him.
I let go. "I need to get ready for the argentina game," I say. He nods.
"See you later b," He says kissing my cheek. I turn red as he walks away. I go back into the room
I walk in. They all stare at me. "Excuse you," I say sarcastically. walking to my room. I need to get ready
I wear leo's jersey and do my makeup and walk out
"Vamos Niños," I say.
Diego,Teo,Nando,Joao, Pedri,Pablo and I go to the stadium.
We say hello to antonella, and her kids, and then the game starts

We walk out of the stadium. It's okay. We arent finished yet.
We go to the hotel, We are all quiet as we get to the elevator Pablo whispers in my ear
"Come to the spanish floor tomorrow morning,"
I look at him and nod
We go to sleep
I wake up, Spain plays today. A lot of spaniards are mad, Joao chose Brazil. I go to the bathroom and make sure I look presentable before I see Pablo
I walk out my room. "Where are you going?" Vini says
"Spanish floor," I say. "ooooouuuu," Rodrygo says
"Why are you two in my room?" I say. "Actually it's Neys. Thank you very much." He says.
I roll my eyes playfully. I go to the Spanish floor, It's quiet. A person pops out of nowhere. "You're Bruna?" the person says as I jump. "Yes," I say slowly.
"I'm guessing. Mr. Gavira told me to look out for a very gorgeous woman, This is from Pablo gavira," He says handing me a box and leaving.
I am confused. Gorgeous? I sit on the nearest couch and see what he gave me. I open the gift. I see Pablo's jersey, note, and some chocolate. I open the notes
