[Cut to Y/n preparing his gear. He grabs his cloak, his sword, his leather braces with fingerless gloves, brown boots, his dark brown messenger bag, some glyphs, bandages, water, snacks, and the diary. He shoves the diary into his messenger bag and heads downstairs.]
Luz: Hey Y/n! Where ya goin'?
Y/n: Oh I'm just heading out to do something, don't worry about me. I'll be back later, see ya! [Just as he was about to walk out that door, Eda steps in his way.]
Eda: Not so fast. Why exactly are you "heading out"?
Y/n: [He gestures to Eda to get closer.] Look, I'm going to find the sword that the diary was talking about. I don't want Luz and King to worry about me so just trust me alright? I won't die.
Eda: [Still looks concerned and sighs.] Alright, just be careful.
Y/n: I will, anyways, byeeeee [He hurries out the door.]
[Y/n roams eastwards, following the directions of the poem. He travels through the forest seemingly hoping he's going in the right direction. Luckily, he gets to a river just as the poem states. He pushes onwards as he follows the river and arrives at a grove of trees. As he arrives, he sees a waterfall, making him excited. He comes across destroyed structures as he gets closer and closer to the waterfall. He notices a little opening that is slightly behind the waterfall. He moves some rubble out of the way and enters the opening.]
[Y/n stands there in awe but snaps out of it considering the possible dangers that lie within the temple.]
Y/n: [While doing some stretches.] Ok, better be alert, who knows what- [Rumbling occurs through the temple, and the door closes. Y/n looks at the closed exit.] Well shit, should've seen that one coming, oh well. [He shrugs it off and continues onward.]
[As he walks, the rumbling is still happening but then dies down as he enters a chamber. Y/n notices that it's quiet... too quiet. The room has little to no light thus he unsheathes his sword to light up the room, but the light soon reveals horrifying creature around 6 ft tall.]
[They are known as "Dread", King has taught Y/n that these demons take shelter in decaying places, eating leftovers. Y/n gets startled by their sudden appearance but then kills it with one slash. He breathes a sigh of relief until the moment gets broken and he sees multiple eyes from the darkness. He realizes there are more of them but instead of fear, he feels excited, ready to put himself to the test. two Dreads pounce on Y/n but he slashes at both of them.]
[The battle continues on. Y/n tries to use an invisibility glyph but it doesn't work. It seems like demons in this temple have some sort of thermal vision. More and more Dreads appear but Y/n doesn't notice it and continues to kill every single one of them. One Dread manages to sneak beside him and slashes his left arm (upper part), he grunts in pain but manages to kill all of the Dread. Overall, he was able to kill 50 of them in the chamber. Y/n pulls out bandages from his messenger bag and tends to his wounds. He continues onwards. As he walks through the temple, there seems to be an intermission. He gets to a part of the temple which seems to be clear of monsters. He takes a break, drinking some water.]
Y/n: Huh... I wonder what Luz and the others are doing...
[Cut back to The Owl House.]
Luz: Hey Eda. What did you and Y/n talk about earlier?
King: Yeah, you seemed a bit on edge a while ago when he said he was going out.
Eda: Oh it's nothing, he's just in search of some sword he heard about in this diary.
Luz: Oooohh, tell me more!
Eda: Well, remember that time you snuck into the library during the "Wailing Star" event?
Luz: Yeah?
Eda: Well he said he found this diary that wasn't glowing or something.
Luz: Wait, I'm getting crazy Deja Vu. So Y/n is on this "quest" to find some sword? And you just let him off!? What if he gets hurt!?
Eda: I was skeptical if it was real too since I've never heard of a sword lost here in the Boiling Isles. And if I did, I would've stolen it already. But he seemed so determined and after what we've been through, I trust him. He won't make the same mistake you did.
Luz: Yes but...
Eda: But nothing, he's capable of handling stuff on his own. He's tough remember? Now let's just relax.
Luz: I guess you're right. [Hugs King tighter.]
King: Nyeh! Don't worry Luz, I'm sure wherever he is, he's doing fine.
[Cut back to the temple fighting off more Dreads, he seems to have killed more and even got some of their blood splashed onto him. After Killing 30 more Dreads, he tries to rest but gets interrupted by something approaching. It shakes the room as it slithers closer. It then appears in front of Y/n, looming over him.]
[It's the size of a shipping container. King calls these creatures "Cold Eye", usually because they are found at the Knee. They prey on Slitherbeasts but Y/n is confused about why these things are here. He has no time to stop and think because the beast strikes down its hand, making the ground crumble. Y/n falls to the ground but recovers as he avoids another attack. He remembers that their obvious weak point is their eye. Flaming katana in hand, he uses an invisibility glyph and charges at it. He manages to get a few slashes in but he soon runs out of breath. It tries to swipe at Y/n with its claw but Y/n rolls under it and slashes its waist. The Cold Eye growls in pain and whips its tail at Y/n that connects, sending him against a wall. He groans in pain but quickly runs to the side as the beast slashes down with its claws. Y/n then pulls out an ice glyph and slams it on the ground. It launches him forward and he pierces the Cold Eye's eye, killing it. He sits down, exhausted, and pulls out some bandages to patch up some wounds on his chest since the Cold Eye's tail had spikes. After catching a breath, he continues onward.]
Y/n: [Panting.] I can't be too reckless this time... Huh?
[Y/n comes across a chamber that seems to be pitch black. He feels a shiver up his spine and turns around, but he sees nothing. He's getting concerned if this place is making him go insane but he remembers what he promised to Eda. He grips his sword and yells.]
Y/n: Fight me head-on! [Just then, demons appear from the shadows surrounding him, they growl at him.]
[These are "Cavestalkers", in their natural territory. They are slightly smaller than Dreads but they are faster. It looks as if Y/n has encountered a pack of them, around 14 of them. Feeling frustrated, and tired, he doesn't give them a second to react. Y/n grabs one by the head and stabs his katana right through its head, killing it. This makes the others unnerved and they start to gang up on Y/n. The pack uses the darkness to their advantage, striking Y/n from multiple angles which he manages to block, parry, and dodge. A Cavestalker tries to slash his forearm but only damages the leather braces he has. He then catches a Cavestalker attacking from behind him, to which he turns around and slashes its arm off.]
Y/n: This sword better be worth it... [He grunts as he kills the remaining Cavestalkers. Y/n catches his breath and drinks some water.] Just gotta keep going.
[Y/n progresses onwards through the temple, killing around 7 Dreads and Cavestalkers on the way. He hears weird noises coming from above and tries to locate where it's coming from, but fails. He shrugs it off and continues onwards. He enters a room that seems to be... raining? Y/n holds out his hand to let a droplet land on it. He inspects it and realizes that it's blood. He looks up in horror to see numerous bat-like demons on the ceiling.]
[They are the so-called "Vampires" Eda talked about when Y/n and Luz first arrived here. King corrected Luz for mistaking vampires for hot people but in fact, they are bat-like beasts around 7 ft tall that hunt at night. King states that their weaknesses are sunlight, fire, and silver. Y/n jumps out of the way as the vampires come crashing down. He jumps back in with his katana and slashes at one, burning it and killing it.]
Y/n: One down... 8 more to go. [One vampire tackles Y/n and scoops him up into the air. Its claws dig into his shoulders and he groans in pain. He cuts its legs and he begins to fall, not before he pulls out a plant glyph and creates a vine to which he swings from. It's a battle in the air, the vampires circle around Y/n. Y/n swings around on the vine, trying his best to kill all of them. He jumps off the vine and lands on a vampire, he yanks its ears and steers it towards the others. He bashes it around the room and into other vampires until he grabs hold of the vine again and swings off, sending the vampire he was riding on into a wall. He then continues to swing around and kill the rest of the vampires using his sword, some fire glyphs, and some ice glyphs.]
[At this point, Y/n is exhausted and has run out of glyphs. He sits down next to the corpses and patches himself up. He takes a break to eat and drink. He just sits there, contemplating if he made the right choice. He looks back on previous battles and thinks to himself that he has gotten stronger and he should continue getting stronger for the sake of himself and for others. Y/n feels motivated now after having a momentary break of thinking. He continues deeper into the temple. After about 3 rooms of no monsters, Y/n seemed to question whether or not he managed to make it through, but that thought gets shattered as he enters a room full of all the monsters he has fought.]
Y/n: Well great, looks like the gang is all here.
[As he says that, a couple of Cavestalkers try to rush him. But Y/n shuts down their attempt with a few slashes.]
[Y/n's tired face begins to bear a smile. He feels motivated and that motivation starts fueling him with adrenaline that pushes his body to go further. He starts spending hours and hours fighting endless hordes of demons. (Just imagine the Doom Music Playing).]
[Cut back to The Owl House in the evening. Luz is pacing around the living room.]
Luz: Where is he? He's been gone for a while now [Looks worried.]
King: [Is laying on the couch and yawns.] Now that you mention it, He has been out for a long time... Do you think we should find him?
Lilith: [Is practicing some glyphs on the coffee table.] Where would we even search first? He could be anywhere for all we know.
Eda: You guys are worrying too much, he'll be fine... [She stares out of the window as the sun sets. Lying to herself about worrying about Y/n.]
[Cut to Y/n sitting next to a pile of corpses, It looks like he's killed around 54 Dreads, 3 Cold Eyes, 48 Cavestalkers, and 26 Vampires. He tends to some wounds once more, his body is almost completely covered in bandages and blood (some his, some from the demons), and his cloak, braces, and shirt are torn up. He seems to have enough water, but he ran out of food. He's exhausted, therefore he takes a break and even a 30-minute nap. When we woke up, everything is still in place. Corpses and everything. He continues onwards but is met with a door, he looks confused and is paranoid. He opens the door that leads to a large corridor with lanterns. As he enters, shadowy figures walk from behind the pillars. There are about 20 of them.]
Y/n: Y-You're kidding right? You're kidding... How about we talk this out? [ The knights seem unresponsive and ready their weapons. Y/n sighs and readies himself once more. Not only do they have weapons, but they have armor too. He keeps his head up high, he's come all this way and there's no going back. He gets a sudden adrenaline boost and rushes the undead knights. The knights charge at him. Y/n places down his final ice glyph and comes crashing down.]
[Y/n stabs a knight right through its face. Another one tries to attack him but gets blocked. Y/n then slashes at it but the armor gets in the way. The knight he tried to attack swings back but he drops down just in time to avoid it. He then sees an exposed part that isn't covered in armor, their necks. He then tries to aim for its neck to which he successfully kills another. He understands their weak point and uses it to his advantage, Killing a couple more. His kills are ruthless, one even kicking the back of a knight's knee and stabbing it in the nape. He then transitions to a slash that kills another one that tried to sneak up on him. Thankfully, the undead knights' movements are readable, so after a few minutes he finally kills all of them. Y/n sighs in relief and continues deeper into the temple. He goes upstairs which leads up to a mysterious room lit by blue flames, a throne room.]
[Y/n arrives in a throne room and is a bit thrown off by the sudden environment change. It seems like this is the end of the temple. But soon his thoughts are put aside when he hears footsteps. He readies himself and gets greeted by a shadowy knight around 7 ft tall descending the stairs. A knight guarding an empty throne...]
Y/n: This is probably stupid but... Can you talk? [The knight doesn't respond.] Yeah, thought so... [to himself: "If this guy is the last enemy, he must be stronger than all of the demons I've faced." He puts down his messenger bag, and slowly walks towards him.] His aura... it feels cold... but damn he looks cool. [In an instant, the knight is in front of Y/n, he ducks right in time as it swings its sword. The swing causes an air slash that destroys a pillar. Y/n feels fear right through his body, thinking about how one hit could end his life. He tries to slash at the knight but once again, the armor is too dense. The knight then charges another swing downwards.]
[Y/n dodges it and tries to go for its neck but there seems to be armor there as well. Y/n and the knight continue to exchange blows. Their swords clashes echo around the room. Y/n uses everything he has, even using the braces as a way to bash the Knight. The battle rages on, Y/n trying to outmaneuver it, slashing at its armor and using physical attacks like punches and kicks. The knight retaliates and grabs Y/n by his cloak, tossing him against a wall.]
[Y/n screams in pain and drops to the floor. Y/n groans and forces his body to get up. The knight then tries to stabs Y/n but he parries it away just in time. He recovers a bit and grips his sword as the knight stares at him menacingly. With determination in his eyes, Y/n charges forward once more. The two continue their clash as Y/n screams from the adrenaline he's received from feeling fear of death. A slash transitions to a bright light then fades into the morning sky.]
[Cut to The Owl House. Luz, Eda, Lilith, King, and Hooty realize Y/n still hasn't returned home.]
Luz: Y/n? [She looks around the house to find him and arrives in the living room.] Eda, where's Y/n?
Eda: I'm asking the same questions too kid...
Luz: He hasn't come back yet?
King: I think so. Where could he be? I've never seen him leave for so long.
Luz: Hooty? Did Y/n come home last night?
Hooty: [Opens the door.] Suprisingly no, the last time I saw him was him leaving yesterday.
Luz: [She starts to worry even more.] You know what? That's it! We are going on a search for Y/n, he might be lost, scared, confused, or maybe even kidnapped!?
Eda: Luz, calm down. We'll find him together.
Luz: Just us won't be enough. If we're going to search for him, then we'll need more people. And I think I know just who to ask.
[Cut to Y/n and the Knight in their duel. Sparks fly, the sound of clashing metal, and Y/n screams echo in the throne room. Both their movements are so fast that it might be hard to track what's even going on. It's been well over hours since they started their duel and Y/n is suffering from a lack of stamina, injuries, and hunger but his adrenaline just keeps on fueling him, making him pull off insane moves. Y/n jumps over a swing and kicks the Knight with his leg. He then spins around to give another slash. He builds up momentum with every rotation and slashes continuously. The knight then breaks the momentum by stabbing its sword into the ground. Making the ground crumble and Y/n off balance. The knight charges forward and both their swords clash. The knight pushes Y/n backward, heading for the pillar. Luckily, Y/n steps onto the pillar and flips in front of the knight and over its sword. While upside down, He then tries to slash the knight's neck.]
[It slightly works as the armor is seen with cracks. But even with the cracks, Y/n doesn't seem to be doing enough damage. He gets backhanded by the knight and he tumbles across the floor, groaning and grunting from pain. Y/n feels as if he is at his limit, but he continues to push forward. Wanting to stay alive for Luz, Eda, King, and others. Y/n grips his sword and has a determined, scary look on his face. He then gets an idea, as soon as the knight thrusts his sword forward, he jumps onto it and steps on it, using it as a way to get closer to the knight. He then grabs its head and stabs it. Y/n screams as the flames of his katana burn bright as it engulfs the head of the Knight.]
[Y/n then pulls out his katana from its head. The Knight kneels down, defeated. Y/n stands there, on the verge of collapse. He realizes that it's still alive. How come it isn't moving? Y/n looks tired of fighting but still readies his sword. Then suddenly, a voice speaks up.]
???: 𝚈𝚘𝚞'𝚟𝚎 𝚏𝚘𝚞𝚐𝚑𝚝 𝚠𝚎𝚕𝚕, 𝚝𝚛𝚊𝚟𝚎𝚕𝚎𝚛.
Y/n: [Panting.] Wait... You can talk?
???: 𝙸'𝚟𝚎 𝚊𝚕𝚠𝚊𝚢𝚜 𝚑𝚊𝚍 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚊𝚋𝚒𝚕𝚒𝚝𝚢 𝚝𝚘 𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚖𝚞𝚗𝚒𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚎.
Y/n: Then why didn't we just talk things out? [He calms down a bit.]
???: 𝙳𝚘𝚗'𝚝 𝚋𝚎 𝚊 𝚏𝚘𝚘𝚕.
Y/n: Alright alright... so where's... the sword?
???: 𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝚜𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚍 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚜𝚎𝚎𝚔 𝚒𝚜 𝚖𝚎.
Y/n: You? You're Yonaka?
𝐘𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐤𝐚: 𝙸𝚗𝚍𝚎𝚎𝚍, 𝙸 𝚊𝚖 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚜𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚍'𝚜 𝚜𝚙𝚒𝚛𝚒𝚝 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚑𝚊𝚜 𝚖𝚊𝚗𝚒𝚏𝚎𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚍 𝚝𝚑𝚛𝚘𝚞𝚐𝚑𝚘𝚞𝚝 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚍𝚎𝚌𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚜.
Y/n: I guess that makes sense... but what is this place?

𝐘𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐤𝐚: 𝚈𝚘𝚞 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚙𝚛𝚘𝚟𝚎𝚗 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚜𝚎𝚕𝚏 𝚝𝚘 𝚋𝚎 𝚊 𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚝𝚑𝚢 𝚠𝚒𝚎𝚕𝚍𝚎𝚛, 𝐈 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭.
[The two grab each other's hands and a bond has been created. A black aura surrounds Y/n as Yonaka shrinks down and takes the form of a dark blade. When compared with Y/n's height, the sword is around 5'4 (from hilt to tip).]
[It forms in Y/n's hands and a black aura surges through him. Y/n sighs in relief and collapses on the floor. He stares at the ceiling and realizes he's been gone for quite some time. He decides to head back. Grabbing his messenger bag, dragging Yonaka in his right hand, and his finally sheathed katana in his left. He has to walk all the way back to the entrance, which takes him about 2 hour or so. He finally exits the temple and sees sunlight after a while. Y/n sits down by a stump to rest after walking, admiring the view and thinking about life and the absolute Hell he's been through.]
[He makes his way back to The Owl House.]
[Cut to The Owl House. Luz has gathered Eda, Lilith, King, Hooty (in his backpack form), Amity, Willow, Gus, and even the twins Emira and Edric.]
Luz: Alright gang, our mission is to find Y/n. We'll look everywhere.
Gus: Willow and I will survey the outskirts and Willow's plant magic can help in forests.
Emira: Edric and I will go to Bonesborough and ask people if they've seen him.
Eda: Lili and I will take to the skies with King and Hooty. We'll get a better view from up top.
Luz: Good, Amity and I will check the library and other places, like Hexside. Is everyone set? [Everyone seems to be ready to search for Y/n. Luz still looks worried/sad]
Amity: [Notices Luz and puts her hand on Luz's shoulder.] Everything will be fine Luz, we'll find him.
[Just then, someone opens the door. Everyone turns their attention to see who it is. It's Y/n, and he looks like he's been through war and hell combined, covered in demon blood and his own blood. Parts of his body are wrapped in bloody bandages covering bruises, scratches, and wounds. His clothes, leather braces, and cloak are all torn. His face is bleeding and covered in bruises and scratches, with his eyes looking like he's seen it all (which he has).]
Y/n: [Coughs] Hey guys...
[Everyone in the room is in complete shock and horror by Y/n's appearance. Eda and Lilith look like someone just died, while the rest look traumatized]
Luz, Amity, Eda, and King: Y-Y/n... WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU!!??
Y/n: ... 𝙉𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙙 ...
[He takes one final step into the house and collapses. Finally feeling safe. The others rush to his aid scared to death. They check if he is still alive, which he is. He is unconscious and still alive. Luz and Eda caress his unconscious, bruised, bleeding, scratched face and look at each other. The scene ends with them calling some people from the healing coven to heal Y/n.]
[Cut to inside Y/n's mind, as Yonaka talks.]
