Time for some family time. I'm just here for the drama. And the drama she delivers.

I wouldn't say I tug at your heartstrings.

I PULL at your heartstrings.

Jade knew that in the past weeks she had recovered and gotten back on her feet she knew that something would happen. Something was happening. Some kind of event.

And she was right.

Right now, her Mother was taking her out of Fire Town and out into the city. And she felt delighted. The sun hadn't hit her in so long. And she enjoyed every light.

"Mommy, where are we going?" She asked.

Ember smiled.

"We're going to a stadium." She explained, a half meant a smile on her face.

Jade's hard feet hit against the ground. She blinked with magical eyes. Full of young hope.

She had found something. Something amidst her Mother's shelves. Some kind of glass ball.

Her Mother had told her of Vivasterias. But she hadn't seen them in real life but in pictures in books. And this glassy ball had a very pretty Vivasteria inside of it. And it looked so pretty.

She had it with her. Her Mother probably wouldn't tell her exactly what it was. But she was sure she would find out anyway.

Ember looked around, trying to find a certain water person. She hummed whilst looking around. And eventually found him.

"Hey Ember!" Wade shouted, a huge smile on his face.

Ember smiled and then walked up with him as did Jade.

"Hi." She said, softly.

They were silent for a moment. The last time they had seen each other wasn't the best. And the last time they did Jade had a MILLION cracks within her as she was deprived of very needed water.

Jade needs water too, Ember.

"Hi Mr. Ripple." Jade's voice interrupted them. He smiled as he gazed upon the small child.

"Hello." He said.

Jade began to look around, curious by what she gazed upon.

"What is an Airball game?" She asked.

Wade chuckled.

"It's a sport that air people play." He explained.

Jade nodded in understanding.

The three of them all went inside as the game started. They were just in time.

This was something Ember had been doing ever since the day came. She was taking deep breaths. Jade needs her Father and how selfish should it be of her if she didn't allow them to have a relationship? That's pretty selfish.

They found some good seats and soon.. the world seemed to be filled with euphoric nostalgia.

She could still remember how it went down. He was.. cute whilst he cheered. A big fan of his favorite player, Lutz. She needed to save her father's shop. And thank god..

That the glass still stands.

Lutz was who they were seeing right now. And while Ember had never been a fan of sports she would for now if it meant Jade could have some time with her father.

As the game went on, the water people began to form a wave and cheer for their favorite people. Wade joined in with them. Making Jade give a few giggles.

Ember sighed, a relief of comfort washed over her. The moment is good.

Ouch..

Ember watched as Wade kept his eyes on the game. She was still in love with him. She noticed it weeks ago. So that is why..

"Hey guys, I'm going to the bathroom. Be right back."

Jade and Wade watched as Ember walked away. A little sparkle of hope washed over Wade as he noticed Jade yelling at the air guy to "Get your game face on!"

It was silent for a moment as the game went on. All of a sudden, Jade pulled out some little glass ball. But as Wade glanced at it. He noticed... that it was no ordinary glass ball.

It was the vivasteria. The one she made.

It was still beautiful. Just like her. And it still sparkled and radiated with it being.. She kept it.

"What is that?" He asked Jade. Hoping for some answers.

Jade glanced at him. Her glassy magmatic eyes reflected with their purple pupils and blue creases. He could see himself in them.

"It's Mommy's. She keeps it on her shelf by her bed." She explained, looking at it.

Wade hummed in response. Holding a hand out.

"May I see it?" He asked.

Jade was hesitant, but she eventually allowed him to touch the glassy work of art.

He inspected it. Delight filled in as he kept looking at it. A deep feeling pooled in his chest.

"Mommy made it I think." Jade spoke.

"She's good at making glass. I like to think she made it for someone special." Jade admitted.

Wade nodded.

"Yeah."

Jade hummed When a Sparkle Flame as both she and Wade stared at the amazing piece of art.

"I think she made it for you."

Wade looked at Jade. He was trying to fight the tears. Jade studdied him closely.

"You're my daddy aren't you?" She softly spoke.

Wade stared at his child. Oh, it was still so damn foreign to him. So new it didn't even feel real.

"Yeah. I just found out about you." He chuckled.

Jade turned her attention back at the airball game. She played with her fingers.

"I think Mommy made it for my daddy."

~~~
Ember was currently beating herself up. Stupid. Stupid stu- why can't she do anything right?!
She wanted to scream. To go full purple and not care. But she had to keep herself calm.
For Jade.
For the sake of both Wade and Jade's developing relationship.
Who cares what she wants. Her child goes first.
~~~

Hold on, Elements don't need to use the bathroom.

Almost like magic, Ember walked back to them. Sitting down.

"Hi Mommy." Jade smiled.

Ember smiled back at her and then looked at Wade.

"Hi."

"Hello." He said. Smiling like the big goof he was.

All of them turned their attention back to the football game.

~~~
As the game wrapped up, everyone got ready to leave. Seeing as Lutz continued his streak as one of the best players in Airball much to the happiness of his fans. Wade and Gale being one of them.
In fact, they ended up running into her after the game. She slightly teased Wade and even met Jade.
"So.. wanna come to my place tomorrow?" Wade suggested.
Ember looked at him weirdly.
"Not like that. But.. so Jade can see the rest of my family." Wade explained, giving some context.
"Oh." Ember tensed. Wade was one thing but the whole Ripple family...
"Sure." She said, trying to wash her doubt away.
Wade nodded.
As the mother along with her daughter and the water guy parted Jade said one thing.
"Bye Daddy!"
Oh my god guys, Jade called Wade dad for the first time!
