Haechan was spending most of his break with Umji, having the time of his life.
But now, it was time for him to get back to work. Which was to promote their new album and title track, Ay-yo.
Umji was also back to studying for her tests and working at the convenience store.
The two made sure to always keep in contact and to talk when they're free.
Currently, Umji was crammed in her room, studying her life away. She had her AirPods in, blasting Radiohead through them.
It was 10:13 pm, and she's been studying since 7 pm. Barely giving herself a break.
Her roommate, Emy, was getting worried. She didn't want the girl to overwork herself. She didn't even see her walk out to get a snack or some water!
Umji finally finished studying and reviewing, putting her highlighters down and stretching. She cracked her back, neck, arms, leggs, knuckles, and anything she could crack.
Then, she turned off her music and put away her AirPods so she could leave her room.
Umji opened up the door and walked out, seeing Emy sitting down on their couch.
The girl noticed her walk into the kitchen. Seeing her black hair tied up into a high messy ponytail and her black tank top and plaid pajama pants, also her wearing her glasses.
Emy got up and followed her, seeing Umji get a glass of cold water. "I haven't seen you come out of your room until now, is everything alright?" Umji nodded, putting down the almost-empty glass before replying, "Yeah I'm fine, don't worry. I was just studying for my tests."
The french nodded, sitting down on one of the stools before giving her a soft smile. "Please let me know if you need anything, also don't overwork yourself okay?"
Umji returned the smile, and washed the cup she used for water. After that, she turned around and thanked Emy. "Thank you, and I'll let you know, I promise."
"Okay.. as long as you're okay. Now you should go get some rest," Umji agreed, and said goodnight before walking to her bedroom.
Once she arrived in her room, she closed her door and walked into her bathroom to get ready for bed.
She took off her glasses and washed her face, doing her skincare. She puts on a face mask and sets a timer for 5 minutes before she gets a text. Or multiple to be exact.

"Hey," she said, giving the boy a soft smile. The boy looked tired, eyebags were noticing and his tan was fading out.
He gave her small smile, but it didn't reach his eyes. "Hi, how've you been?" She took off her face mask and threw it out, turning off her bathroom lights before getting into her bed.
"I've been good, a little busy. You?" The boy hummed, shifting in his bed, "I've been good."
Umji knows that's a lie. The boy hasn't been getting any sleep recently and has been looking more tired than usual. But he didn't want to tell her that, he didn't want to make her worry.
But she could see through him like he was made of glass. She sighed, looking seriously into the camera. "Hyuck, I know you're lying. You don't have to lie to me, you know that right? It's okay to tell me the truth,"
He looked down, before looking back at the camera. "I know, I'm sorry.. I haven't been doing so great. But I don't want to worry anyone."
"I understand that but Hyuck, if you aren't feeling well, mentally or physically, then you shouldn't push yourself and you should tell someone. People care about you, I care about you. We want to help."
He nods, looking down. "I'm sorry.."
She shakes her head, "Don't say sorry, it's not your fault, okay?"
They ended their night like that. Umji put on her favorite show with the boy on FaceTime and Haechan fall asleep with the comfort of his girlfriend.

The gang was back together. Most of them were high, but all of them were having fun.
They missed each other, truly. Uni life and all the studying putting them into Do Not Disturb mode.

Umji is the exact opposite of how she is when she's drunk. When she's drunk, she gets a lot more talkative and extroverted. But when she's high, she's even more quiet then she is already.

Sighing, she slowly got up and went into her bathroom to get eyedrops for her eyes. After she puts them in, she washes her face.
Once she's done with that, she goes back into her room and gets back into bed.

It had books, folders, papers, pens, highlighters, old cups and food, even a few used tissues. Gross.
After that was cleaned, she made sure the kitchen and living room were tidied up.

"Come on in," Umji said, moving to the side to let the boy in. Once he was in, she closed and locked the door behind them.
Haechan set down the bag of food and coffee on the kitchen counter before sitting down on one of the stools. Umji picked up the coffee and took a sip from it, "Oo this is good."
"Glad you think so, because it's yours." He smiled, watching the girl grin and take another sip from the bevarage. "Thank you," she said.
Before the boy could reply, another girl came out. Umji's roommate.
"Oh hello, you must be Haechan, Umji's boyfriend?" Emy said, bowing in respect.
Haechan nodded, "You must be her roommate?"
"Yep, I'm Emy. It's nice to meet you," She gave him a smile and opened the fridge to grab a ice cold water bottle. "What's with the bottle," Umji asked, raising a brow.
Emy took a sip before answering, "I'm taking Liam hiking," was all she said.
It took a moment for Umji to register the girls words, bursting out into laughter. "Y-you're taking Liam hiking? Good luck with that."
Emy joined in the laugh, "Yeah I heard he hates it. I don't know why, the nature out there is beautiful. I'm gonna make him like it, I don't care." She said half jokingly.
Umji wiped the tears from her eyes before taking another sip of her coffee. "Okay, well, if Liam falls or gets attacked by a bear, please record it for me okay?"
Haechan chuckled at what Umji said, shaking his head. Emy giggled before putting on her coat and boots, "Okay I'll make sure of it. You guys have fun, bye!"
After they exchanged goodbyes, the two looked at each other. "Wanna play Mario Kart?"
Haechan nodded, smirking. "I'll beat your ass in that and you know it." That made the girls eyes roll, "Sure you will Hyuck."
