Days later
*Naruto shifted in bed releasing Shizune's body as he started getting dressed. Shizune woke up and dressed with him*
Shizune:so today's the big day huh?
*Shizune said kissing Naruto's cheek since today was Naruto's big meeting with the leaders of other Shinobi nations*
Naruto:yup it took some time which I'm not gonna lie I kinda did like just spending time with you and not being on some mission
Shizune:heh or trying to bring Sasuke!!! Back
*Shizune said giggling imitating Naruto's voice, Naruto wince and gringed a little*
Naruto:come on i didn't sound so bad
Shizune:honey even your voice is a lot smoother, all that screaming for your one true love must've really mess with your pipes it sounded like nails on a chalkboard
Naruto:haha I was a naive child hilarious
*Naruto said grumbling as Shizune poked his cheek teasingly*
Shizune:you didn't deny the true love part gasp my fiance is in love with someone else oh how will I ever live on
*Shizune said dramatically even falling on the bed. Naruto rolled his eyes but still smiled as this secret side of Shizune the drama queen side was a side only he got to see, he laid himself on top of her and kissed her softly on the lips*
Naruto:well i could show you how much I truly love you... If you wish~
*Naruto said caressing Shizune's body his hands slowly going lower and lower. Shizune's breath shuttered a small blush appearing on her face as she bit down on her lip in anticipation and suddenly Naruto got up with a smirk*
Naruto:welp I don't want to be late for the meeting bye~
*Naruto flickered out of there leaving a very flustered and angry Shizune*
Shizune:oh that mother....!!!
With Naruto
*Naruto landed outside the Hokage office with a big smile on his face whistling as he walked inside*
Kurama:you are so dead when you get back home
Naruto:Kami!!
*Naruto looked around and saw everyone looking at him weird for screaming out of nowhere, Naruto gave an awkward chuckle and walked in a hurry out of there, blushing angrily when he heard Kurama laughing inside him*
Naruto"what the hell I thought I had to be inside to hear you?"
Kurama:I can talk do you whenever i just choose not to having no reason to talk to my jailer
Naruto"so why talk now?"
Kurama"I found it funny I'm going back to sleep now"
*Naruto shook his head and placed this memory at the back of his head*
Kakashi:ah Naruto hello
Naruto"really? I can't say your name without you punishing me?"
*Naruto thought before he turned around and saw Kakashi waving at him with his one eye smile*
Naruto:Hatake....you look....you look like you normally look
*Naruto said as he kept walking with Kakashi walking next to him*
Kakashi:thank you, going to the Hokage office?
Naruto:yes, I'm the head of the meeting she's going to have with the other leaders of the elemental nations. Is there a reason your walking along side me forcing me to have small talk with you?
*Kakashi didn't react he just kept smiling as he placed his hands in his pockets*
Kakashi:yes all the leaders of the Shinobi nations are allowed to bring only one of there Shinobi's to this meeting and feelings you have of me aside I am one of the top Shinobi of the village
Naruto:i would've chosen guy over you but it's clearly just a test to see if you would make a good Hokage and as much as I may hate you and the favoritism of the now dead Uchiha emo boy, I will say you would make a better Hokage then guy
*Both trembled imagining guy sensei as Hokage and how he would make every single Shinobi do his training regimen every day*
Kakashi:well let's be thankful that's never gonna be a reality. But say you had to choose apart from your....

*Naruto said without a second thought, that actually made Kakashi stop walking for a minute. Naruto didn't stop with him and kept walking, Kakashi soon caught up to him*
Kakashi:so you hate me so much that you would rather have an enemy of Konoha a current member of the Akatsuki be Hokage?
Naruto:that's not the reason I would choose him. And for the record I would pick danzo Shimura over you any day of the week
*Naruto had the final say before he opened the door to the meeting room and walked inside with Kakashi walking next to Tsunade*
Tsunade:ah Naruto, Glad you could make it here early, shame your eye got healed up before the meeting
*Tsunade said in a teasing tone, Naruto scowled at her mumbling something about revenge*
Naruto:oh don't you worry I'm prim and proper for today, so when is everyone supposed to be here?
Tsunade:kumogakure, iwagakure and kirigakure should be here shortly, suna is the one I'm curious about they're our neighbors but suna's Hokage still hasn't shown up
Naruto:knowing Gaara he's probably just taking the scenic route ever since shukaku been ripped out of his body he's been a lot more calmer a lot more...well I can't really explain it but the letters he sends me are all positive
With Gaara
*Wee see him and Temari walking around Konoha Temari was behind her brother whining*
Temari:Gaara I'm begging you just admit that your lost and let's ask for help!
Gaara:I'm the Kazekage I do not get lost
*Gaara said in his monotone voice as he turned to the left even though the Hokage tower was on the right, they walked for another half hour until Temari gave a small scream and stormed around*
Temari:alright I'm done! I'm asking someone and going there myself! And you better be there or so help!!
*Temari said threatening Hokage or not she was his older sister ,Gaara just hummed as a response as Temari flickered to the tower like a normal Shinobi. After walking a bit more Gaara heard a sniffle, curiosity getting the better of the former jinjuriki he went to the source and saw a weeping girl with blue hair around his age he walked up to her*
Gaara:are...you ok?
*Gaara asked softly, the lady jumped a little and waved her hand, moving her face up so Gaara could see her cleaning her tears*
Hinata:y..yes yes, I'm...I'm sorry to have bother you mis....m...k..Kazekage?!
*Hinata said in complete surprise seeing Gaara there. Gaara kept looking at her before finally remembering her*
Gaara:yes, and your Hinata hyuga I remember your fight against your cousin years ago at the chunnin exams
Hinata:y...yes I..I...I am so sorry to have bothered you with my nonsense!
Gaara:you still haven't told me what's the matter?
Hinata:it's....it's nothing you should be concerned of kaze....
Gaara:please call me Gaara, I'm the leader of the neighboring nation not this one and I'll asked again
*Gaara sat down next to her and gave Hinata something that doesn't come easy to Gaara, he gave her a small but genuine smile*
Gaara:what's the matter?
Hinata:it's....just a matter of the heart I'm afraid
Gaara:ah I see please continue
*Gaara said in a completely neutral tone while internally he was sweating since he didn't know the first thing about love. And so Hinata did telling Gaara about her feelings for a Naruto and everything that's been happening in the last year with her, only she didn't tell Gaara Naruto's name*
Hinata:and the worse part is that he's right I can't be with him anymore all because I was too scared to even make the first move!
*Hinata screamed moving from sadness to self hatred being angry at past self for being such a coward, Hinata took a breath and gave a small forced smile on Gaara who stayed there and listen to Hinata ramble on for the last 30 minutes not once interrupting her, she had his full attention*
Hinata:thanks for listening and not saying anything, I rather not hear you tell me fake platitudes to make me feel better
Gaara:words can be a powerful things but sometimes there the last thing someone needs
*Gaara said getting up and looking at Hinata*
Gaara: But my sister told me that ice cream is a girl best friend how about I buy you some
Hinata:that's...sounds nice thank you I'll take you on that offer
*Hinata said getting up, as she was getting up, the next head of the main branch of the hyuga clan slipped and almost fell but Gaara caught her*
*Gaara's cheek felt weirdly warm for him as he felt his heart start to race feeling hinata's hands on his chest*
Gaara"I must've gotten a sickness on the way here I'll take care of it later"
*Gaara thought not knowing the first thing about feeling let alone physical attraction*
Hinata:so...sorry about that I can be rather clumsy at times
Gaara:it's of no bother to me come along let us get that ice cream
*Gaara said walking ahead of Hinata who followed him*
Gaara"why do I feel like I've forgotten something...?"
Meanwhile with Temari
Temari"I'm gonna kill my brother"
*Temari though as the tension In the room was getting thicker, the only sound that could be heard was the drumming of mei terumi's fingers. Naruto took a sigh and stood up from his chair*
Naruto:ok I'm just gonna say it's should we start this meeting without Gaara? I'm sure he won't mind it if we start without him either way
*That cause murmurs of agreements from the leaders and all eyes landed on a frustrated Temari who had to keep a force smile on her face as she was technically the one who will decide for Suna, with a sigh she nodded her head while on the inside thinking of ways to make her brother pay*
Tsunade:fantastic now since Konoha was the one that asked for this mission we'll start the discussion take it away clan head Uzumaki
*Naruto took a breath before walking in to the middle with the eyes of everyone on him*
Naruto"well here we go...."
