The girls on the room below Thirdy and X's room suddenly woke up from the explosion that happened. Reighn stumbled to her feet to rush up to the scene where the exploison happened and as he went upstairs, he saw the rest of the group trying to get rid of the debris that was blocking the door.
"Is Thirdy and X alright?" Reighn asked the Kyler who was trying to break the large beam that fell over the hallway.
"I don't know, but I sense powerful magic just beside this door. You and Ean go oustide to check if they are alright, we'll try to open this path for them to escape if in case we are under attack." Kyler ordered Reighn and Ean and the two followed suit.
"Kyler is a tactician. I know he got some sort of plan." Reighn thought while trying to keep up with Ean who transformed into his giant wolf form.
As they opened the door, they were greeted by a scorching wave of air. Ean whelpped from the heat of the ground as if it was already forming into a lava. Reighn didn't think of the possibility that from an explosion like that, the surrounding area might get affected. It was basic science.
She found the master of the house shocked by what is happenening in the kitchen together with her children, trying to calm them down.
"Are they hurt? Is someone missing?" Reighn questioned the old woman who looked terrified.
"Yes, we are all alright. A few scratches at most, and no one is missing." The old women said while trying to hold back her tears. "It was thanks to that small cat that turned into a boy, we were saved from the explosion." She said.
Reighn let out a smile and her hands glowed green. After a while, all the bruises and cuts from the children and the women were all gone leaving no marks. "Ok, I healed all of your wounds and given you protection against physical harm that would happen for the day. Let's go out of the house and evacuate." She said to them, and the women followed her.
Before finally leaving the group, she asked, "You're not human are you?" Reighn just nodded while sensing danger from both sides. "I can't believe that there is a non-human who would save another human when we are hunting your kind." She said and bowed down. "I am truly greatful for the things you did to protect me and my family." And with that, they family left into the forest towards the church.
Ean then came out of the kitchen house and growled a little to Reighn. They both ran towards the front of the house and they saw that almost all of the houses has been burning and is being razed by the fire every second. They also saw dead and burnt humans.
But they can't seem to see who did the explosion. Reighn then felt somewhing weird in the air. "Ean! Run to the left!" And Ean did what Reighn said and another explosion happened. It was not as powerful as before, but the both of them got blown from the after shock.
"What the hell was that!" Rafaiel said, Reighn was shocked when Rafaeil came out from where they come from and from the air, Reighn felt another cold air heading towards Rafaiel.
Reighnn knew what will happen, there will be another explosion just above Rafaiel and she doesn't have time to shout out and Rafaiel will just question her so she helf out her hands and both of her eyes glowed green with an outline of white and her energy transformed into a cirlce of green and a pentagon of blue towards Rafaiel and the explosion happened.
Everything went white from there and the screeching sound can only be heard throughout the area. "Reighn are you ok? Thank you for the shield." Reighn saw Rafaeil slighly burnt from different side but no major damage has been done. Rafaeil helped reighn to stand up and they saw Ean Growling at something just beside them.
That was then a man appeared from the shadows and tried to thrust his knife towards Reighn. But it was block by one of the magic circles of Rafaiel. The small circlre gave Reighn and Rafaiel enough time to run towards Ean.
"My, My, there was someone who can actually dodge my attacks." The man who appeared on the shadows had a slightly short visage despite having long legs. He was wearing almost nothing on his torso and battle scars can be seen on it. He was waering a rather skinny pants that seems to be really uncomfortable to use for fighting.
"Who are you?" Rafaiel asked and he bared his fangs towards the man. He felt dangerous and they don't think that they can actually face him even though they are three of them here.
"I am but a servant from the king." As he was going to finish, a screech has been heard in the house and the four people standing just outside was alarmed. They all sensed fear. It was fear that could rend a person's heart with just a single look.
"It woke up." The man said and he vanished from thin air.
"It woke up?" Reighn said he hurried back to the house to see AmLorr, Mew and Kyler was unconcious but they were able to release a good number of debris. As she peeked through the gap, he saw Thirdy being strangled by a strange creature. It was her first time to see this kind of creature.
"X, snap out of it!" Thirdy said pained. X's grip was really thight and he can already feel that his neck will snap sooner of later if no help had arrive.
X completely changed and turned hideous after seeing the man who made the explosion. It was like a gush of dark thought and energy filled X and made him berserk.
As Thirdy was losing hope, he saw a barrage of white and black beams coming from the sky and almost all of it hit X. And Thirdy was released from the grip. Ean Jumped from the ground floor towards the second story and he picked up Thirdy using his jaws and jumped back again on the ground.
The monster got back to his feets again and from the perception of Rafaeil, it will probably go and give chase to Thirdy and Ean. He released another barage of beams. But this time, the monster dodged all the beams.
Out of breath and pain, Thirdy shouted to Rafaeil that the monster was X. "He turned into a monster when a guy appeared out of the shadows and talked something about an experiment!"
Far in the distance, a group of three boys are watching the fight using binoculars and some technology that can see them see what is happening even in miles away.
"Are you sure we shouldn't save them?" A man with black spikey hair said while fiddling with a sort ot tablet that produces sound of beeps and tones of different sounds.
"As long as the boy's deamon is awake, we can't really help them." The other man removed his hood and was shown with a dark brown hair partnered with a mark on his neck.
"Oh, Dragon Folks and Deamon Folks never really did get well with each other huh?" The guy with a spikey haired teased the boy who has his hood on. He did't speak but rather, he released his black leather wing that seems to shine on the sun and flew down of the hill where they are watching. The guy with brown hair looked sharp at the other one. He just sheepishly said, "Ricken, I know what will happen. Don't worry, my babies already told me.
"Fine." Said Ricken. "But Lance, don't you think it's time to return to our original world?" He asked and Lance stopped what he was doing. He looked at Ricken who has this look as if he was looking back in time with the surroundings.
"I don't want to return to that forsaken world." Lance simply said. "I want to watch over Kry. He's like a younger brother for me."
"But we don't belong here."
"I know. Let's just follow the others to the battle." Lance released his hood and a pair of brown wings that reflects an ambered color light with the sun flowing and Ricken followed. He had a dark colored wing that resembles of Kry but with much pitcher color. Thier eyes turned red and with a single stroke of their wings, they flew fast towards the sky.

The guys who are watching on the nearby hill was name Ricken and Lance respectively. They first appeare on my first ever story, "Not Your Ordinary Gangsters" but I haven't finished translating it to English.
But they will also appear on my other projects like "Lana". Which is also in English.
