"It has been months since we saw the others!" Rafaeil bantered in the table that they are eating. Thirdy was gracefully eating his berries and vegetable while the were-cat just keeps staring at the elf, still wondering how was he able to get so accustomed in being blind quickly.

"Don't exaggerate, it's only been a month a few weeks." Pointed out Thirdy while his for is pointing at a different direction.

"Yeah, and in just a day, that weeks will turn into months." Sighed Rafaeil who shifted his gaze on the crowd. The tavern they are into now are not kind of the city they have been through. This one is full of Dwarves and some few were creatures like wolves and tigers.

Rafaeil noticed some group who was arm with this silver thing. They call it machina and these machina amplifies the strength of a person who was using it regardless of age. It's an invention of the small dwarves, but the side effect as they hear it, was that, you lose some magical affinity just by using it.

"Those machinas are nasty." Looking through the robotic arm of the dwarf, he tried to ignore it, but the more he looked at it, the more he seems to be engrossed on it.

"Well, you are a creature of magic, so you using it might not have any take a heavy toll on you." Thirdy talked after gulping a full mug of sweet cider. "But, if our Intel is right, Kry, AmLorr and Mew might be in the area, so, we need to make sure to sweep the entire region."

"I know, so just finish your salad and we'll go around once more."

Deep that night, Thirdy was walking wearing a light hood to conceal his identity, though with the white fabric cloth on his eyes, no one can easily identify him. The black smoke fizzes here and now from the copper tubes that filled the streets and some steam up some white smoke.

Although Thirdy can't really see, he relied on his ears and skin to make sure that he won't bumped up on some people, or a thing. He was just walking around. Thirdy then felt a sudden zap on his mind, making sure that it was Rafaeil, he blocked his mind with a wall he spent practicing for almost his entire life.

He thought, that if, it was Rafaeil, he would know where to hit his wall with magic making sure that it is a friendly force. And there was a hit where he would be expecting, Man, your mind sure is very dark!

Thirdy felt Rafaeil jumping from roof to roof just by establishing a mental link on the both side. It was one of the way that he can adapt being blind and all. But to teach Rafaeil how to use mental link was one of the hardest thing he have ever done.

Being a werefolk, Rafaeil just can't help it since they mostly rely on instinct and that uses no mental control as it is inherent to the user's body. It was a natural order of how the world was and they can't do anything about it.

I just need to make sure that I am not invaded. Rafaeil jumped again on another building's roof. As far as the memory of Rafaeil is concerned, he haven't seen a group of people together on the dead of the night and some late workers or guards are visible.

I know that. Man, you elves are quiet scary. Only a higher race like a dragon can actually go deep on your mind.

Please don't make a comment like that, it's degrading. Rafaeil felt the pride that Thirdy was still holding all through his life. Elves are such a cocky race he thought and that just made Thirdy a little uncomfortable. Rafaeil noticed that he thought that out loud that he can be heard and he apologized. But it left an awkward thing between them.

Well, we swept the west side this night. Rafaeil stretched his body like a cat and then he shifted back to his human kid form. Leaving him a little dirty with all the black smoke he accumulated. "Can we like get out of this city?" Dusting himself and his clothes with all the black smudges all over.
