"Great! Let's go home and finally sleep in bed!" Lucia said while excitedly stand up to which Veldanava then teleported them back afterwards

When they're back Infront of their house, they're greeted by an unexpected sight
"WHAT HAPPENED HERE!!!" Lucia shouted

It's currently midnight but you could see the house clearly despite the dark night
Why?
Because there are a trail of fire going across the Nava household coming from the north down to the south lighting up the area that the fire passed by
Not only that, a few pillars of ice that are scattered randomly across the trail also reflected the light giving the are near it an ominous glow
"Looks like Velzard and Velgrynd is in a disagreement"
Veldanava's tone is calm as usual but one look at his face and you could tell that he's annoyed
Lucia sighed in response before asking "Are we going to check on them?"
"You don't have to if you don't want to" he softly said "I will go there by myself"
"Thanks dear"
They then walked ignoring the things around them and entered the house that's seemingly unaffected by the ice and fire
After Veldanava put Milim on her bed he turns around and said "I'll be going now"
To which Lucia replied with a small kiss before saying "Take care"
"I will" he then goes on to walk out of the room
Lucia's POV
Welp there he goes
Now that he's gone let's just put Rimuru to bed and goes to bed myself
"Mom. Aunties are okay right?" Rimuru asked worried still in my arms
"Of course they are! Your aunties are strong after all" I tried to ease him while placing him on the bed
Emphasis on "tried" because it seems like he's still worried
I can see why he's worried but I'm sure they're okay, the one I'm worried about is actually dear...
Anyway I'm really tired now that I feel like I could collapse any moment now... I better go back to my bed now
"mom, I want to go with dad"

"big please!?" he tried using his baby doll eyes
Unfortunately for you, I'm immune to that from Milim's many baby doll eyes over the years
"No is still no" he looks annoyed "be a good boy and go to sleep please"
"mmm" he pouted and turned away from me
Knowing he won't talk to me anymore I just turn around and left the room
I left the room but I'm actually just standing behind the door checking on him through [Magic Sense]
Please just go to sleep so that I could go to sleep aswell...
. . . dammit he stood up... Is he really that determined to go?

I run back inside the room
HE DISAPPEARED!!!! DID HE TELEPORT? WHERE DID HE GO??

'Thankfully dear haven't left yet' I slumped on Milim's bed 'but why? ... whatever, atleast he's with dear now' I put aside the question for later

Eheheh I managed to teleport like dad earlier thanks to Great sage! Useful as always!

As she finally stood up straight, she mutter "But who would do tha-she trailed off her question as she realizes the answer-AH Dear and/or Rimuru!"
'I hope they'll be back soon' she prayed in her mind
She then looked at Milim who's still sleeping soundly, which caused her to let out a soft smile at her
A few moments later and she couldn't resist her daughter cuteness any longer "I'm sorry Milim..."
So she then gets on the bed and began cuddling her to her heart's content "You're just too huggable!!!"
'why is it that my own family really likes to hug me?' Milim showed a look of discontent for a moment 'whatever, I couldn't stop them anyway'
Lucia then continue to cuddle her untill she fell asleep
Back with Rimuru and Veldanava
Dad's finally done explaining his [Creator Eyes] and I'll be lying if i say I didn't want it
But sadly, even if I were to somehow got them (Hm~) I don't think I'll be able to use it effectively since I haven't been able to gather Spiritron nor the Stardust energy... atleast for now
I'm sure I will be able to soon enough though
Anyway... Why are we stoping?
I looked at dad and... "look down there" he already answered before I could ask anything... well okay I guess

Dad soon stopped descending and now hovering quite high in the sky to not be noticed by them. But low enough to let me see what's going on thanks to Great Sage helping me by enhancing my vision
Thanks to that, I could see the cool sight I'm seeing right now
There are multiple Aunt Velgrynd with different weapons fighting Aunt Velzard who's holding an ice stick that smoothly changes shapes in response to Aunt Velgrynd's attack
But this does made me wonder
Why are dad not stopping them yet?
... ah whatever, I don't want to think too much on this

Watching them fight it out makes me want to do the same thing
Those movements, those use of weapon, and those tactics

That sounds like it'll be a really long time, I actually feel a bit unmotivated hearing that answer... Well it's my fault to ask it in the first place

A moment ago we're in the sky but just a moment later we're on the ground
Not only that, They actually have stopped fighting
“w-what's going on? Why are we here?”
Hearing my question, Aunt Velzard looked at me with a really worried expression. On the other hand, Aunt Velgrynd is looking the other way making me unable to check her expression
Why's that Great sage?

I looked up and sees that dad is covered in ice and snow on a few spots around his body. Especially his face...
‘I want to know how the ice feels like...’ thankfully for me, dad's fingers are frozen ‘this I'll do’
So I reached out my hand to touch it and what I feel upon touching it is something I'll never forget
It's really cold. Way and way~ colder than anything I've ever felt. Not only that, I could feel the cold spreading to my body from my hand
So needless to say it's painful... Which is also obviously resulted in me crying
POV ends
Rimuru's cries replaced the awkward yet tense atmosphere of the three into panic
Even though Veldanava could still think clearly in this situation, anyone could tell that he is also in a slight panic
Thanks to him still thinking clearly he quickly handed over Rimuru to Velgrynd
She didn't know what to do for a moment but quickly regained her composure and immediately tries to help Rimuru to warm up
On the other hand...
Velzard is rapidly breaking down due to her keep thinking what if she had accidentally killed Rimuru
Which is why Veldanava quickly coming over to her after handing Rimuru to Velgrynd as he believed in her being able to warm him back up once he's done with Velzard
Knowing that his current form is unfit for the situation that's currently going on. He quickly returned to his human form and catches Velzard who's slowly collapsing to the ground
With an intense uncontrollable breathing, a nonstop incoherent mumbling, and a heart that's beating loud enough and fast enough to be heard from a distance. One could tell that she's in shambles
Veldanava then slowly whisper into her that Rimuru is fine again and again until she finally calms down
Once she finally calm down by being on his embrace, he used a sleeping spell on her
He then decided to turn back to his true form and carried her on his hand before going back to Velgrynd
As he had predicted, She managed to put Rimuru back to his normal temperature around the same time he's done dealing with Velzard
After confirming that Rimuru is fine and only fainted from what he just experienced. He told her to rest, to which she does so by getting up to his other hand and rested on it still holding Rimuru in her arms
And so Veldanava flew back home to put them on a bed and give himself a rest
“Today was actually tiring...” Veldanava muttered before falling asleep himself
The sun is slowly rising in the horizon a few minutes after he fell asleep
