Catastrophe Approaching

Milim wakes up at dawn just a few hours after Gaia left

She looks around and sees Rimuru in her arms however Gaia is nowhere to be found

She walks around the edges trying to find Gaia but there's no results

“Rimuru do you know where Gaia went?”

He shakes his head before answering “No, Gaia just go there” he pointed somewhere

She then looked to where their house should be and tried really hard to see the house

Using Milim Eye she actually managed to find the house

But she gets worried as she saw a large hole on what should be Velzard's room

So she grabbed Rimuru and jumped down because she thought it's not as high as to when she flies in the sky

“Ouch!” But of course she's wrong about the height

She's correct that it's not as high, but she didn't know that it'll still hurts if she jumped

Her regeneration is actually fast enough that she managed to start running back to the house

Two hours later

Milim is panting on the ground with Rimuru on her lap a bit scared

“*pant* Rimuru *pant* what's wrong?”

“Milim run fast scary...” he remembers as he tried to tell Milim to slow down but she couldn't hear him

“eheheh I'm sorry, I will run a bit slower after this” Milim apologies makes Rimuru put an expression that says "you better be"

After catching her breath she started running again but keeps checking on Rimuru

Another hour later and Milim finally back with Rimuru still more or less fine

She called out to Veldanava and Lucia but there's no answer so she looked at Rimuru

Rimuru gave a look that says "I'm ready" and that made Milim brave enough to get inside

At first they saw nothing wrong (except for the large hole earlier) but then they saw their mother on the sofa

Milim walks up to her and asks “Mom what happened?”

Lucia slowly turn around and after confirming her kids is Infront of her she immediately hugs both of them “Milim! Rimuru! Where were you two?” she asked with a little bit of tear flowing out

“Umn I was showing Rimuru the night sky, the same one that Onee-san showed me a few days ago” Milim answered truthfully

At first Lucia is a bit angry because Milim going outside at night and also bringing Rimuru along without telling anyone but after hearing her reason her anger just disappeared as if it didn't exist in the first place and just filed with relief seeing both of them are okay

“Milim... Please atleast tell one of us if you're going to do this kind of things, moreover if you're bringing Rimuru with you” she softly tell her

Milim just nodded before nonchalantly asking “oh yeah what is up with the huge hole?”

“Well you see... There's a small explosion but everything is fine” she tried assured her with a smile

Milim basically believe it and asked “Um where's Onee-san then?”

She thinks for a bit before answering “ah they're with your dad don't worry about it”

“Ah okay then” she answered thinking nothing much about it

They then sat on the sofa and a few minutes passes before she remembered and asked “Where's Gaia?”

Lucia a bit hesitant but still answered “I think over there” while pointing on a direction

“I will check it then!” she says giving Rimuru to her before running off

Lucia wanted to follow her but her hand are full with Rimuru so she just hoped that she's okay

On Milim's side

She's currently running as fast as she can but slowing down as she sees Gaia in the distance

“Gaia~!!!” she called out but there's no response

“Hey Gaia! I'm calling you!” she yelled while walking closer

Close enough to notice the blood scattered all around them

The bushes and even the tree are covered in blood

She actually noticed a few body part scattered as well but trying to ignore them as much as she can

She's actually scared... really scared by it. Even more so when she notices that Gaia is laying on a pool of blood

Slowly she walks on the sea of red trying to get to Gaia

After finally reaching Gaia's body she slowly get on top while muttering “Why... are you... not answering... Me!” in each of her step

Finally she gets on top and hugged Gaia with her arm spreading as far as they can “FINALLY!”

She slowly crawled on the back to see it's face and ask “Gaia what's wrong?”

But of course no answer

“Gaia?” she looked on the other side

After all

There she saw a slash wound with tons of bloods coming out of it

Gaia is already dead

Okay that's done, next chapter will be quite fun

Yo thanks for sticking with me even when I write something like this

Speaking of writing, one day I will be writing something. Something really special that if I start writing it I might stop all of my story for a while

It is probably the best idea I have and I don't think I've seen any story like it

And that's the problem, because I don't want that other people did it before me, but in the other hand if I did it now I think it wouldn't be as good as I think it would've, which probably could've resulted other to use this idea aswell but better

So yeah I'm in full circle

Anyway back to this story

Milim will be a demon lord in probably a few chapters so you have to wait for a bit, sorry~

As for Rimuru... Well just wait for it, it's still long ahead of us
