When I awoke the next morning I knew Aslan was dead
I walked outside and saw it was quite early and the sun hadn't truly risen yet
I sat down on a chair outside my tent and waited for the inevitability of the upcoming fight
I watched as a dryad sailed past and went into the tent of Peter and Edmund
I followed it and entered just behind it hearing it tell Peter and Edmund of Aslan's death
They went to check Aslan's tent to see if she was telling the truth
"She's right" Peter said exiting the tent "He's gone"
"Then it is your job to lead us" I said to Peter "There's an army out there waiting for your commands"
"I can't" Peter spoke
Edmund spoke up from beside me "Aslan believed you could, So do I"
"The witches army is nearing sire" Orieus spoke "What are your orders"
"It's not that simple and you know it" I spoke "Orieus, you and I have experience in leading armies, We have about three to five hours to make a plan and prepare"
Over the next four hours Orieus and I helped Peter develop a battle plan and for the next hour after that I made sure Peter was ready mentally to charge at an enemy force
After all of that I got into my Armour and made sure Peter and Edmund were in theirs before mounting my horse and following Peter as he led the Army to the battlefield we had decided on
Once we arrived at the battle field we got the Plan ready
Peter would lead the bulk of our forces in a frontal charge while Orieus and I would each take half of our Centaur forces and hit them from the sides
Griffins would serve as artillery dropping rocks onto the enemy from the air while we kept our archers in the back
We where currently all next to each other waiting for the griffin scout to get back
It landed on my right and spoke to Peter
"They come your highness, In numbers and weapons far greater than our own"
"Numbers do not win a battle" Orieus spoke
"No but they certainly help" I responded "Let's just hope this plan works"
We could here the Witches war horns from across the field
First we saw the Witches General, A big black minotaur
Then the rest of the army came over but what I heard next truly frightened me
A loud roar came from behind the army and that's when I saw it, An Ice Dragon
It reminded me of Velaxes except this one was much bigger and was fighting against me
The Witches army was full of creatures including Cyclops, Giants, Minotaurs and Dwarves
The Witch herself was in a carriage being pulled by two large snow bears
Peter drew his own sword Rhindon he had named it just before the battle after learning I had named my sword Dragonbane
He raised it high in the air and our own war horns were sounded
The army drew their weapons and started cheering
Then the Witches Army charged
"Are you with me" Peter asked Orieus and I as the griffins flew overhead
"Til the death" Orieus and I answered at the same time
The griffins started dropping their rocks before they were attacked by the Ice Dragon
"FOR NARNIA" Peter shouted as his unicorn reared "AND FOR ASLAN"
He started charging as Orieus and I peeled of to the side followed by half the Centaurs each while Peter charged in a Skein formation

Orieus' forces hit the enemy first though mine were close behind
Then Peters forces hit, First a Cheetah and a Snow tiger crashed into eachother and the battle truly started
I swung my sword taking the head of a cyclops before blocking an attack from a minotaur with my shield
I swung my sword around cutting it before pushing my sword into its heart
It was about 20 minutes later when I had gotten to the center of the battle and I was fighting near Peter
That's when I saw the Phoenix come to half the Witches forces
The ice dragon had become a problem because it was killing our men quickly
Luckily it hadn't gone for our archers yet
When the phoenix cut of the other forces our men started to cheer but I knew it wouldn't last
The dragon flew over the line breathing ice and extinguishing the flames
"Fall back" Peter shouted "Draw them to the rocks"
Our forces turned back and I followed Peter as a Centaur next to me blew his horn so the archers knew what we were doing
We got to the rocks and the archers started firing to slow the enemy down
I was right behind Peter when a dwarf shot his unicorn tossing him to the floor
I quickly jumped off my horse telling it to go while I went back for Peter
I helped him stand up as Orieus and a rhino ran past us
The rhino took out about ten of the witches men before being killed while Orieus kept going
He was grabbed by the Witches general though he made short work of him
But it was all in vain as the Witch turned him to stone
I was stuck still for a moment before I noticed a Minotaur charging us
It was about to swing at Peter before I pushed him out of the way and blocked the minotaurs axe with my shield
The minotaurs axe went through my shield slightly into my arm causing it to bleed
The minotaur then grabbed my shield and ripped it away from me going for another swing
I dodged the axe just barely and swung my sword half way into the minotaurs arm
I then shoved my sword into its chest killing it
I looked around seeing a pair of griffins attack the Witch, I was starting to lose hope as I noticed Peter tell Edmund to leave
Peter and I fought side by side killing minotaurs, cyclops and all other manner of creatures
I was suddenly blinded by a blue light and I noticed Edmund had destroyed the Witches wand
Then I had to watch as the Witch stabbed him
"EDMUND" Peter shouted from next to me
"Peter no" I said as I watched him charge at the witch and that was when I was grabbed
The ice dragon had me in its claws
I quickly stabbed it in the foot and it dropped me making me fall about 20 feet
I landed on my arm and felt it break
I screamed in agony and the dragon came for me again
I ducked behind a rock and pulled off my helmet as it shot ice when I heard another roar but this one wasn't a dragon
I looked over and saw Aslan with reinforcements and I knew we would win the battle now
I turned around and noticed the ice dragon about to breathe ice at me when I heard a distinct sound
It sounded like a dragon roar but broken and I knew of one dragon that made that sound
Velaxes attacked the ice dragon biting it's wing so it couldn't fly before going for its neck
Velaxes was significantly smaller but that made him faster
He dodged as the ice dragon attacked many times but he could once
The ice dragon grabbed Velaxes' tail pulling him and he was about to go for the head
"Hey" I shouted and the ice dragon turned back towards me
It was about to breathe ice at me when i rushed forward pushing my sword into its mouth and through its brain killing it
I pulled my sword out and walked backwards about to collapse before being caught
I looked up to who caught me and noticed a familiar faun
"Tumnus" I spoke weakly, my various wounds taking effect
"Yes" He started "Its me"
He set me against a rock and put my sword down next to me
I watched as Velaxes looked at me sadly before hearing someone shout "No"
I looked and saw Susan running over to me "LUCY" She shouted
Lucy ran over and gave me a drop of her elixir and I immediately felt better
"I thought I lost you" Susan spoke "I saw you and you looked dead" I slowly stood up and walked to Velaxes
"I would be if not for you old friend" I said to him before turning to Susan "Want to pet him"
Susan looked unsure but walked over and gently pet him
I looked at Susan and she turned to look at me "What?" She asked
"Nothing" I responded before leaning in and kissing her
She was shocked for a second but she kissed back
We heard someone clear their throat next to us and we looked to see all her siblings
"If your quite done we should be on the way to Cair Paravel" Peter spoke
After that the army begun the march to Cair Paravel
