She is very intelligent and loves to learn new things. She considers Sunwoo as her own brother. Both Da-hee and Sunwoo look alike. They can be mistaken for twins. She loves poetry and Shim Jayoon.
Lee Heeseung as Heeseung
(friend of Sunwoo)
His father was once a noble but due to gambling, he lost everything. Heeseung's father died out of heartbreak followed by his mother. An orphaned heeseung was taken in by the yang family. Now he works as a farmer along with his step brother Jungwon. Heeseung takes friendship seriously and can't stand anything bad happening to his friends.

He is a very funny, happy go lucky guy. For him his family and friends comes first. He loves food and always nag his mother into preparing him his favourite rice cakes. He is very spontaneous and adventurous unlike his brother.

He loves cooking and wanted to be the royal chef some day. He on completing his education joined as an apprentice in the village inn and worked under the chief chef. He grew up in a poor family and wanted to make money. He wishes to have fine things in life. So, he would always search for some quick earns. He is intelligent and a kind person at heart.
Ni-ki as Chul
(servant girl of the Bak family)
She is out going and very bubbly. She is an orphan and no one knows her background. She came to the Bak family when she was 12 years old and is now 15 years of age.
Jake as Shim Jayoon
(a Seonbi scholar)
He is highly virtuous and filial to his family. His father was accused of treason and was hanged. He has a mentally retarded young sister and an old mother. His life's ambition is to be a respectful seonbi and bring back the dignity of his family.
