I wanted Gier to look like a young Christopher Walken, but in the end Gier just looks like an edgier Virgil.

The Sorcerer King, the absolute ruler of the Great Underground Tomb of Nazarick, and the Kingdom of Nazarick, whose rule is set over the cities of Neu Aztlan and E-Rantel both under the establishment of the Iron Duke

At this moment, that entity who should making sure all his vassals concerns were tended to was curled up on a soft bed not slaving at a hard desk, reading a book not addressing the land's issues

For the past weeks, that is what it's King enjoyed, while it's loyal Duke slaved away like the good friend he is surely this will not hamper their well being, surely this will not cause issues down the line

Ainz: hah...'I don't really have the need for rest, yet this feels nice...I wonder how (Y/n) is doing.'

Of course, sleep was completely unnecessary for an undead being like Ainz, someone else would find it necessary, but not Ainz not him

Though he only did so because it was the only remnants of his humanity telling his mind that he should be tired

He finished his book lifting his head knocking his pillow off himself sitting at the edge of his bed facing his dresser, his red beady eyes turning slowly to the room's corner

In the pitch darkness of the room, where a horrible beast of the night would call home waits in eerie silence to pounce on it's victim to snack upon them, sat a maid

She was one of Nazarick's regular maids, and she was attending to Ainz since yesterday elegantly sat upon her chair posture straight hardly moved since her shift started eyes fixed on Ainz without distraction

So in his human mind, she really wasn't that different to a horrible beast of the night waiting in eerie silence to pounce on it's victim to snack upon them

She had not intended to exert this pressure, but was simply because paying close attention to him would allow her to respond immediately to any situation that might arise

However, nobody would feel comfortable if they were constantly stared at like this, especially if it was a member of the opposite sex doing it

He could simply ask her to stop with the staring, but the look of joy upon the maid's face when he goes to order shunts the words back in him

Thinking about it, he wished he had addressed the issue earlier when he had the chance, but a month in of the maid's awe-inspiring loyalty he could no longer bring himself to alter their schedules

Ainz: '(Y/n) makes ordering people so easy, I could never force others to do things...'

He stands, the maid following his motion standing up herself

Ainz: ...I'm up.

Fourth: yes, then your servant shall take her leave...after this, today's maid will come to take over for me.

Ainz: indeed.

He waved his to indicate that she carry on, and even then the small act made him feel rudely arrogant

Something he only thought, whilst the maids by Hamsuke's words...enjoy it when their masters dominate them, what did they mean by this

As much as it disturbed him he still felt the need to act and dress the part, using his old life he acquitted to being the boss of a company

When he thought about it in that way, Ainz felt that what he had done was what the Sorcerer King should have done, as he learned from spying on the ruler of Empire, where Jircniv Rune Farlord El-Nix presented himself in such a manner

Still, Suzuki Satoru had been a working man, and he felt a little uneasy about not thanking his subjects for their work

Ainz: ...then, you should go have a good rest yourself.

Fourth: ah! please allow your servant to offer her deepest thanks for your generosity, Lord Ainz.

The maid bowed deeply as she expressed her gratitude

Fourth: however, it is thanks to this item that you so graciously lent me that your servant could stay by your side to attend you without having to rest, Lord Ainz.

Your gonna regret giving them that ring Satoru

Your voice played in his mind, although he was very pleased by their dedication there was no need for them to go that far as to watch him all night

Ainz: 'at least they should cancel the night shift...the part where they watch me sleep, right?'

As maids, it was only natural for them to faithfully serve their master with their hearts and souls

He recalls those words spoken by Evelyn when training the new maid Nayeli

Ainz: 'faithfully serve their master, huh...what would you say if I wanted to live as an equal to you?'

It has been many months since you two found yourselves in the New World, and Ainz was now confident that all of Nazarick's denizens were absolutely loyal to their lieges

So long as you kept the order and he did not do anything which would disappoint them, there was no chance of their betrayal...ignoring outside interference

Perhaps one day he could change the relationship between them, and put himself on equal footing with the NPCs, if that had happened...

Ainz: 'indeed, just like during the guild days...I wonder if (Y/n) would like to go back to that sort of life again...he's busy having fun as a dragon God, so he probably won't...'

That thought in mind, Ainz simply understood that eventually this would be the endpoint of this reverence and to go against that would cascade to a point where they no longer viewed him as an equal

As the children of his friends, it was his responsibility as their master to continue in that capacity

Fourth excused herself, and left the room

In that moment, Ainz sprang into action he replaced the book under the pillow with another book that had a very complex title, then the book he was reading last night went into the pocket dimension that is his inventory

He sighed a breath of relief, he did not want to read those difficult books which made his head hurt all night rather he wanted to read some popular books instead, but in eyes of the NPCs reading such books would damage Ainz's dignity as a ruler...he thought, but his own paranoia was greater than the Emperor's

Now that he had finished everything he could do on the bed, Ainz pushed aside the thin gauze canopy which shrouded the bed and rose to his feet

Just then, several knocks came from the doors shortly after that the maid who was due to take over the next shift opened the door and entered the room

As she saw Ainz getting off the bed, she smiled and approached him

Ainz: good day, Fifth.

A blindingly radiant smile dawned on the maid's face

Fifth: good day, Lord Ainz...I'll be in your care today!

If Fifth had a tail, she would probably be wagging it with all her might her maid uniform was the same as the one worn by the previous maid, Fourth

Unlike the battle maids, the regular maids all wore the same uniform however their exact appearance varied between each maid, probably because each maid wearing them was different

There was the occasional offshoot, the likes of Pestonya whose had a renaissance flare with hers and Evelyn with the more modern office dress

He recalls the unveiling of Evelyn

(Y/n): I feel like this is kind of a downgrade on your part Whitebrim.

Yamaiko: I told you he would hate it.

(Y/n): quiet hag, no I simply didn't think you enjoyed this kind of design...it's simple if you get me.

Whitebrim: oh, trust me decorated maid outfits are the best, but even simple maid outfits are good.

Evelyn bowed deeply, even with the outfit looking tight on her she was still flexible inside it

Whitebrim: in other words, maid uniforms are the best, no matter how they look maid uniforms are the greatest invention in human history! Viva maid uniforms~!!

The arachnoid rose his right two arms in the air followed by a wing

Peroroncino: Viva maid uniforms! the elf part was my design.

(Y/n): I can tell.

Yamaiko: disgusting.

Although Ainz did not know what he meant by "viva", it was probably some sort of exclamation it might have also been some personally invented term of his

In this way, Ainz recalled the memories of his past companions, bit by bit

Ainz smiled bitterly, mentally of course, and silently looked at the maid

Fifth: L-Lord Ainz, is...is there some way I can serve you.

Fifth blushed as her hands tightly gripped the apron of her uniform, it was then that Ainz realized his carelessness

Ainz: forgive me, it seems I was...yes , it seems I was somewhat entranced by you.

Her blush only grew encompassing her whole face, the only time Ainz has made a woman blush...who is alive

Ainz: then, let's go.

Fifth: hieh? ah, yes understood!

The maid froze for a moment, but still managed an energetic reply as she fell into step behind him and they left the room

Ainz passed through several other rooms, what he saw there could not possibly compare to the scenery in the 9th Floor of the Tomb

Thus, when Ainz had decided to stay here the Guardians, and even you, voiced your objections one after the other

Point, this place is lacking in taste as a residence for a Supreme Being

Point, the defensive capability of this place is lacking and it has inadequate protection against spies

Point, the capital of the kingdom is the Tomb not some second rate city

Point, point, point-

However, as you demanded he change his mind, Ainz shrugged all these objections aside and selected this place as his home

This was his responsibility as a King...after all, Jircniv too lived in the Imperial Palace of the Imperial Capital, or at least, that was what he wanted people to think

The fact was, this place was luxurious enough for Ainz, no for Suzuki Satoru his old home was even less worthy of comparison, his room on the 9th Floor had always been too flashy and too large

He did not mind it when it was still a game, now that he actually had to live there he was acutely aware that there was no place for him within its walls

All Ainz wanted to do was to burrow into a corner of the room...fucking nerd, same

Ainz led Fifth and the Eight Edge Assassin that dropped down from the ceiling to the dressing room, several regular maids were already there waiting for Ainz

Fifth swiftly joined their rank executing respectful bows to him in unison

Fifth: Lord Ainz, what would you like to wear today?

He takes note of her voice that was bursting with energy

Ainz: 'oh, there's a sparkle in Fifth's eyes...come to think of it didn't everyone who had this job have the same sparkle in their eyes as well? they do say that ladies like clothing...is that how they express it, or do they just like coordinating clothes and accessories?'

Frankly speaking, Ainz did not need to change his clothes he could walk through mud, or roll in his bed it would not ruin his magic robes, nor would his skeleton body secrete bodily waste

Wearing the same set of clothes would not pose a problem to him

However, none of his subordinates could permit that, yet it was only to be expected having their absolute ruler wear the same thing everyday would ruin his image

You were exempt from this due to the fact Nachzehrer never remained in the same form, so it was ever changing from plate to lamellar or simply forgoing your metal plates for your chainmail bodysuit

That said, compared to Ainz your ability to coordinate outfits was superb with the Huntsman's and Maiden in Red's outfits, fabulous some could say

I mean, if you a 2.2 meter (7'5 bald eagles) can strut in heels then you know your stuff, yes Gier walks in heels deal with it

This isn't also to say he was completely inept, it just meant that figuring out what tie to wear for work was completely different to purple robe with silver filigree matching to a silver necklace socketed with four diamonds

That being the case, there was only one alternative left to him

Ainz: ...Fifth, I'll leave it to you, prepare a set of clothing that best suits me.

Fifth: understood! leave it to me, Lord Ainz! your servant will take the greatest care in her choices!!

Demiurge: my Lord, everything has been set in place for operation Annatar.

(Y/n): good, hopefully this will encourage people to immigrate into our lands.

You overlooked a map of the Baharuth Empire, but you ignored the Empire your main interest being the measly city-state of Lerneae

Demiurge: I've heard interesting things about it's ruling family, my Lord.

(Y/n): it's the only reason why I accepted their pleas

Demiurge: I see, do you intend to...

He doesn't continue in fears of being wrong, his Lords' minds are always ten steps ahead of him

(Y/n): if the kid's words are to go by, and Sif did verify them, yes.

Demiurge: that would...that would be, my Lord, I have no words that could encapsulate your genius.

(Y/n): it's not that complicated Demiurge, so long as you and Mare play your parts everything will go smoothly.

Sif: father...

(Y/n): yes?

Sif: Mare is here.

(Y/n): well then, let operation Annatar commence.

Demiurge: at once, farewell, Lord Gier, Young Sif.

He snaps his fingers and disappears, turning to Sif you smile

(Y/n): now, young lady, I'll be traveling East for a while that means I won't be around, so if Ainz needs anything I want you to do your best.

Sif: yes, father...

---

That was two days ago, and all she's mostly done is practice her runecraft, train her pack, and occasionally the two woman vying for her father's affection would play mother to her

Ainz hadn't left his room yet, so this added to the boredom that plagued her

Fortunately, the cure walked out of the dressing room, and he was dressed in a gaudy red robe that hurt her eyes to look at due to the gems adorning it shining in a rainbow of colors

Ainz: ah, good morning, Sif.

It was indeed not morning

Sif: um, good afternoon...Lord Ainz.

If he had eyelids he would blink in confusion, but then realizing his mistake his body glows green in embarrassment

Ainz: r-right, I seemed to have lost track of time...how have you been?

Sif: great, the city's been peaceful, it's nice.

Ainz: your father, do you know where he is?

Sif: he left for a diplomatic visit Mare went with him.

Ainz: interesting, how long ago was this?

Sif: two days ago.

Ainz: I see, 'how long was I in bed!?'...Sif when was the last time you saw me?

Sif: two weeks ago.

He glows green losing a day or two isn't bad it happens, but to lose two weeks whilst everyone else was busy doing something, it was disgraceful

Ainz: 'TWO WEEKS! now I really feel bad...' that's embarrassing, I missed two weeks...has much changed in my absence?

Sif: ...the inner city district has been demolished father used this opportunity to improve the infrastructure, the outer district outside the walls has been completed shacks mostly though, and running water in the city is a thing now.

Ainz: I'm sorry what?

Sif: sorry it's been slow, Lord Ainz...father doesn't want to rely on the Tomb's forces so we offered the people jobs, but there not as efficient as golems...

Ainz: 'I gave him those suggestions for a reason, and he just ignored them! now he's got another pet project!!' ...I can't say I didn't expect this, well...I might as well see the work he's put in, join me.

Sif: as you wish, Lord Ainz.

---

He walks into your office, the salesman inside him looking at him with shame for daring to enter another man's office without their permission

Though, now he was the nosy boss sticking his head into people's workspace, so that's how he justified his transgression

Reaching your desk he looks at the ornaments decorating your desk a coin suspended above a metal plate, gently picking it up rolling it between his boney fingers one side your helm and the other Touch Me's helm

Sif: the witches gave him that, they found out about father's and Lord Touch Me's rivalry.

Ainz: charming 'insensitive of them.'

He places the coin back a spark of electricity taps the coin pulling it back atop the metal plate to float, then his beady eyes set on a book

His eyes flaring at the title of the book, the Five Fingers of Nazarick

A dangerous book to leave around so blaringly, authored by Takemakizachi consisting of theories and battleplan in how to defeat every member of the guild

He quickly snatches it into his inventory, nonexistent brows furrowing at your carelessness

Ainz: I'm going to have a word with him once he's back.

Sif giggles at his words, sitting down at your desk he begins to look through your drawers, and to his surprise it was organized

Ainz: ...'I'm proud of him, if only he organized his inventory space' did Gier have any issues? I recall it was not smooth sailing at the beginning.

Sif: father's new, well it's not new the Lizardmen use it, but the system has allowed information to move smoothly.

Ainz: that's impressive, we can solve any problem as they arrive.

Sif: something did, Lord Ainz...

You've been gone for two days, this meant that at the moment everything was on pause, yet an issue was still present

Ainz: what happened?

Sif: the city is currently in a crises.

Ainz: ...I apologize Sif, but could you repeat what you said?

Sif: when you and father, killed all those men at the battle...who happened to be farmers, miners, and such the city is suffering from a lack of work force, so there's a lack of...everything.

He would slam his head on your desk if it didn't mean he was an idiot for casting that spell, but knowing you he hoped you already had a plan

Ainz: I see, not good, has he made efforts to resolve this?

Sif: yes! he tasked Mata with creating something called, Teutons?

Ainz: Teu-tons?

Sif: yes, he said they were like tractors...whatever those are.

Ignoring the fact that you failed as a father to teach your daughter, Ainz ponders as to why your solution would be to make a tractor

Ainz: tractors, I guess they can help, but I don't get how he's going to fuel them...still, why hasn't he used the undead?

Sif: father doesn't want to rely on them, said it would lead to consequences he did not want to repeat.

This only added to his question, the use of humans for such work would incur labor costs, but golems and the undead did not have that problem

You had three cities built using them with assistance from the Lizardmen, so where was the logic

Ainz: I don't understand, this workforce issue would be resolved if he used them...maybe he knows something I don't.

Sif: I'm sorry we never notified you, Lord Ainz.

Ainz: it's fine, Sif...though I wish Gier would ask for my help.

He pulls back the lowest drawer on his right finding the stack of papers consisting of those suggestions he had made for you

Ainz: ah, there they are...

He places them on the desk looking through them

Ainz: 'yes, mine got through' so he is taking these into consideration, good.

Jus then, the door creaked open

Ainz: ...though he's only gone through the first ten-

The door slams open Ainz glowing green, his hands almost ripping the papers and mouth agape, as Albedo walks in excitedly opening her arms wide

Albedo: darling! are you back aldre- oh, it's you.

Her swooning dies dropping her arms instantly, Ainz fighting back a cough tries to look professionally

Ainz: good afternoon, Albedo.

Albedo: ...good afternoon...Lord Ainz...good afternoon, Sif!

She brings her into a hug encompassing her head into her cleavage

Ainz: 'I wish that were me' Albedo, was there something you needed?

She let's Sif go, who gasps for air, and turns to Ainz

Albedo: if I may ask, what are you doing in Lord Gier's office, Lord Ainz.

Ainz: ah, hgm, about that I was looking for Gier, and I was unaware he was out...so I decided to see how much work he's done.

Albedo: he's worked plenty, a prime example of what it means to give your all for Nazarick rather than let it erode by some poor ruler, like the Kingdom

The mask of subtlety slipped there

Ainz: indeed, Gier has done excellent work, his time's spent at Huntsman has really sharpened his mind on the intricacies of economics...Albedo, do you know where Gier keeps his ledgers?

Albedo grimaced, she knew everything about you as a doting "wife" should with their "husband"

She knew your favorite gem which was the garnet specifically one that's able to change it's color from red to purple, how many scales were on your body twenty-eight thousand two-hundred and eleven, your preference of women her...with blonde hair, and the whereabouts of your ledgers

Ledgers that connected to your money, and if it's one thing a dragon loves more than stealing women, it's money

And, she would have to betray you in order to obey Ainz, but did she have to though?

Her loyalties lay with you, not him, so as Guardian Overseer of the Tomb, the position heralded for upholding the connection between the Supreme Beings and their creations, she lied

Albedo: no, I'm sorry, Lord Ainz, not even Lord Gier trusts me with classified information like that.

She holds herself high, not a hint of regret written upon her face

Ainz: ...what a shame, hm...I guess, I'll have to cut it short here, was there anything you needed, Albedo?

Though she did not like him, he still outranked you, so through him she could cut through the tape and get what she needed without him thinking any less of it, using her womanly charm she spoke

Albedo: someone must visit the Royal Capital to stir up those humans, would you permit your servant to go.

Ainz: what?!

Ainz was taken completely by surprise, if he heard her right she wanted to visit the Kingdom as an envoy, he was not opposed to the idea, but that was Sif's occupation

More than anything else, sending Albedo out while Demiurge and your were not around made Ainz feel very uneasy

His control over this city was not perfect, all three of you had some way of controlling the people voice, eyes, or beauty...he was an undead hated by all, even if they didn't show it

Ainz: this is troubling...could disrupt my plans for the week...

Albedo: my...

Albedo smiled in delight, abusing Ainz's severe lack of contact with women

Albedo: it will be fine, Lord Ainz...I shall immediately settle matters and return to your side...

Ainz: is that so...well, if it's just for a while it should be fine...who will be given control of Nazarick and her cities?

Albedo: I plan to entrust them to Pandora's Actor.

Ainz: ...him, you say.

He looks to Sif who has been listening intently, envious of the beautiful young woman you've created with her compassionate personality and well-mannered attitude, a true diamond hidden in the monstrous abyss of Nazarick, before it's soured by the thoughts of Pandora's Actor

Albedo: he is an excellent individual created by you, Lord Ainz.

He mentally cried out

Albedo: as they say, like father like son.

His cries escape him with a quiet whimper, Sif's ears perking at the weird noise

Ainz: that is, well, my child...sorry, I do not dislike him, that...foolish child...no, that's not his fault either...well, how shall I put it...he's like a child, indeed.

Before he knew it, everyone had gone quiet, he knew that the conversation would dry up if this went on, so he steeled himself and asked

Ainz: if we let Pandora's Actor manage this, what about Momon, who he is portraying? should I do it?

Albedo: no, how could we have you do that sort of thing, Lord Ainz? I was planning to have Momon accept a request and be sent abroad for reconnaissance.

Ainz nodded, although he thought about relaxing by taking the guise of Momon, things were now vastly different from when he was playing the role of an adventurer

How you juggled both Huntsman and Praetorian was beyond him

There would be many troublesome things, or things which had to be carefully handled, sending Momon out on a scouting mission might be the best choice

Sif: wouldn't sending Momon out be an issue? the only reason why the people even accept our rule is because he's out pretending to be their protector.

Albedo: it will be fine, Lord Gier built housing for inner district populace this small act of kindness has earned us some leeway, so Momon has become deeply trusted.

Ainz: 'ugh, I don't really wanna see what's he's done to the city.'

Albedo: thus, all we need to do is have Momon tell the local leaders to obey us before he leaves and all should be fine.

Ainz: good, then, Albedo, hand it to Pandora's Actor after you have prepared yourself and handed over your tasks, go and reap the harvest...is there anything else you need?

Albedo: yes, Lord Ainz, I will also like to take Sif, she has already acted as Nazarick's envoy, and this would be no different.

It only made sense, and compared to Albedo there was less of a chance she chop people's heads off with her there to rein in Albedo

Ainz: hm, Sif do you want to visit the Kingdom?

Sif: if father allows it.

There was the dilemma, he gripped his jaw, he was fortunate that it didn't break after you punched him for sending Sif to the Empire, something he doesn't want a repeat of

Ainz: ...your right, I don't want a repeat of last time...as beneficial as it was, it was rude of me to send you off without his permission, Sif.

There he was again, jeopardizing her goals, strangling her beloved's dreams of a glorious Nazarick

Albedo: but this would benefit Nazarick, Lord Ainz!

Her wings flap aggressively like a child throwing a tantrum, but even a meek man has limits as his beady red eyes flared up

SKREEEEEK!!

A chair scraped against the wooden floor

She freezes eyes wide, as he stands from his chair

Sif's ears lay flat against her hair, looking to the floor to avoid his eyes, tail curled around her legs

The room filled with a heavy aura, even Fifth's energetic attitude flickered like a weak flame

Ainz: Albedo, I would suspect someone like you to respect Gier and not disobey him, or am I mistaken.

Gone was the gullible human Suzuki Satoru for he does not enjoy it when his friend's are ridiculed, nor does Ainz Ooal Gown

Ainz: someone like him does not value disobedience, would you deny his will...were these not your words? Albedo, Guardian Overseer.

Those very words she used against Cocytus, now used against her as she's reprimanded, wings drooping to the floor no longer the confidant femme fatale, just an obsessed little girl over her head

Ainz: you will await Gier's return, otherwise suffer not just his wraith, but mine.

The flames within his sockets dim to beads, returning to the seat

A whimper in her voice she steps forwards and drops to her knees bowing

Albedo: f-forgive me, Lord Ainz...I-I got ahead of myself...in...in my eagerness t-to please, my Lords...

Ainz: do not look to me for forgiveness, I was not the one you slighted.

She winces at his words, a dagger to her heart, tears threatening to escape her

Sif: L-Lord Ainz, m-may I be excused.

Ainz: you may, and take Albedo with you.

She bows and kneels down to Albedo grasping her hand helping her up caressing her back as she leads her to the doors

Ainz: Sif.

Sif: yes...Lord Ainz...

Ainz: do not go far, I intend to walk the city, I would like you to be my guide.

Sif: as you wish, Lord Ainz...

She leaves the office, a sigh escapes him Fifth stiffening at the deathly exhale

A few minutes pass before he stands

Ainz: come along, Fifth...there is much that still needs to be done.

---

Albedo: I-I'm so sorry, Sif...

Once they left the connecting hall Albedo broke into tears, all Sif could do was hold her wings from dragging on the floor and soothe her by gently rubbing her back

Albedo: if-if your father were here...he-he would be di-disgusted with me.

The hiccups started, and Sif simply let her go through the emotions

Albedo: th-that bastard! is ruining! everything!!

Her ears stand at attention alert for anyone nearby shock written on her face, really letting her go through those emotions

Albedo: all I-I want...is to make him happy...I-I want him t-to...tell me, how...p-proud he is of m-me.

She smiles resting her head on her shoulder, the fur of her wolf ears tickle her cheek calming her to speak more clearly

Albedo: and...and then...I will do such a great job...that he will get down on one knee, and propose.

Her mood brightened at the thought of such a moment

Albedo: th-then, our wedding will be in the forest, something small nothing too big, and the twins would scatter flowers down the aisle, as I'm walked down the aisle by...um, by Demiurge, yes, Lord Tabula and Ulbert were rather close.

Sif giggles at the thought, and decides to chime in

Sif: and where am I in this wedding?

Albedo: oh, you'll be the ring bearer, a simple gold band for your father and the one for me will have a garnet, and as I'm walked down he'll be standing there with that smile that cuts across his face, his charming smile.

A smile starts to spread across her face, wings raising allowing Sif to release them

Albedo: Cocytus would be the best man, and I'll have Narberal be the first maid, Lord Nishekienrai and Lord Gier were the closest of friends! did you know that he would hide in your father's shadow during battles and always defend him, it's perfect! Shalltear can be there too, I guess.

Sif couldn't hold it and started laughing

Albedo: you can even invite the boy too if you like.

Sif: what boy?

She asks confused, Albedo simply booping her on the nose, continuing her story

Albedo: we would consummate our marriage on the honeymoon, and from our union a daughter would be born, imagine it Sif.

The thought does make her smile, since as far as she recalls in her bio Gevaudan was her first pup, and being a purebred werewolf he had been stuck in his dire form, but he did not stop acting like her big brother

So her now bearing the torch of older sibling, and act not just a protector but also as a friend to a younger sibling sounded great

Sif: yeah, a little sister does sound like fun.

Albedo: yes, little Miriael, half-succubus half-dragon, and with you as her big sister we'll be one happy family, with ten more in the future.

Sif: oh boy, big family.

She sighs, this dream of hers chasing the tears away...until...

Albedo: yes, but then he'll be called back to serve under him, and soon it'll only be on weekends that we see each ether, then only nights, and then he'll be too tired, and then he'll suffer heart failure from overworking as that heartless bastards strolls around his...hard...work!!

Still smiling Sif only nods her head, calling Ainz any kind of insult was a sure way of losing your tongue, but Albedo was simply having a moment of anger

At least, she hoped that it was just a moment, not knowing how to calm her down this time she decides to suggest some sleep

Sif: eh, I think you need to lay down Albedo.

Albedo: no need, I have the ri-

Sif: please, Albedo, no ring, actual sleep, please...for me.

She pleads, and in that moment of clarity Albedo realizes the words she's been using, of course she didn't care, but others would

Albedo: ...alright, I'll...I'll take it off, and get some rest.

She turns the hall towards your room, Sif ignoring it if it made her feel better

Entering your room, Albedo removes her [Ring of Sustenance] followed by the rest of her clothes

Sif blushes looking away, until she hears the rustling of blankets finding Albedo to already be asleep

The only form of clothing being her ring of Ainz Ooal Gown, the very one you gifted her

Once she made sure she was asleep she made for the door, turning to make sure one last time

Sif: father loves you Albedo, but...his heart still longs for her...

The city of Lernaea burns as flaming arrows are shot over the walls, the garrison stationed desperately fighting off the invaders

Captain: HOLD! HOLD! MEN!! we have to hold till Crystal Tear returns!!

???: I don't think there'll be a city for them to return to!!

???: SIEGE LADDERS!!

A soldier shouts as a ladder's grooves hook onto the crenatures, a snorting monster wielding two axes lands on it's hooves atop the walls decapitating a soldier and throwing one off the walls

Captain: PUSH THOSE LADDERS OFF! WARN THE QUEEN!!

The Captain drives his sword into the head of a beastmen trying to climb up, but as it wails it stabs it's axes into his back breaking through his armor threatening to take him with him

His closest soldiers take note of their Captains predicament and cut it's arm off, releasing him and smashing the ladder

???: walls are overrun, Sir!

Captain: we have to keep trying until her majesty acts!

A deathly scream echoes the forest to the west, fearing another wave the Captains looks over the crenatures

His fear denied, as from the forest line a young boy riding atop a white horse with an abnormally long cape racing behind him comes rushing out towards the beastmen following behind them a large wave of Lizardmen reveal themselves charging the beastmen

???: KRIIN! DU! VAAZ!!

Shout the Lizardmen as they break into the beastmen's lines, not expecting such an aggressive foe no less a counter attack, they begin to retreat into the forest line straggler cut down by Lizardmen atop their mounts

???: do you recognize their banners?

???: ain't matter to me, saved my lifes alls that matter.

Captain: those most be the Kingdom of Nazarick's forces...open the gates!!

The gates open allowing the young boy and his retinue of Lizardmen waving their hands to the cheering people, the boy mostly trying to hide inside his large cape dragging behind the horse

The captain from the walls climbs down to greet the young boy, as he nears the boy though he notes the long ears yet what catch his attention are his mismatched colored eyes one green and the other blue

Captain: who are you, young man?

The boy smiles weakly his voice coming off with a feminine tone

???: m-my name is K-Kyserion, Kyserion Erblut...eh...

Captain: thank you, Sir Erblut, thank to you and your...men the city shall stand one more day.

???: Kyserion! Kyserion! Kyserion!!

The people cheer his name some brave, but generous citizen offering the Lizardmen food which they accept graciously

Captain: please, allow me to escort you to the Princess.

Kyserion: t-thank you...please...

A path is made through the crowd straight to the castle as they continue to congratulate Kyserion for saving their city...or because they're literal lolicons, what the fuck is wrong with this city
