as I was cutting up some fruit for dinner I heard a knock at the door, I put down the knife as I head for the door I unlocked the door and opened it to see my best friend (evelyn) standing at my door before pushing past me and inviting herself in.
"is something wrong?"
I mutter in a annoyed tone.
"no.. just that I've been texting you about going to tokyo all day and you haven't returned any of my texts!"
evelyn shouted in a sarcastic but angry tone I wasn't sure why she was yelling so I raised an eyebrow at her giving her the 'who the fuck are you talking to?' look. She quickly calmed down and in a calmer tone asked me
"do you want to go to tokyo, japan?"
I stood there and thought about my response before responding with
"I don't see why not?"
just then she squealed in excitement and immediately called the airport for tickets to the next plane to tokyo. I didn't know if I was going to regret this or not, but I sucked it up and after a couple days we were in tokyo.

I waited in the waiting room as evelyn tried to ask the japanese worker for a room in the hotel, she eventually pulled out her phone and translated it into google and played the audio and the man held up his hands signaling how much the rooms would cost. evelyn nodded and rented the room for the night before taking the key card with exhaustion and signaling at me to follow her to the room. we walked to the elevator and got in the elevator as evelyn clicked the button reading
"三階" (meaning "3rd floor") we then entered our room immediately setting our bags down and throwing ourselves onto the bed and soon we both fell asleep.
