-Hiccup's POV-
I woke up early.. around 7:30 in the morning. Today is our break! Well technically my break... Jack is taking Elsa out on a date while Rapunzel is out in her hair appointment.. I would take Mer out but she's busy with her friends... As always
I get up from bed and made my way down.. I walked over to the kitchen and was about to open the fridge when I saw a sticky note
It's from Dad, it says "Sorry son, I can't come home tonight I have to stay here just order some food you know where the money is.. also I'm with Gobber till tonight so don't worry."
He must've left before I got home.. he needs to freshen up first before going back to work.. even though there is a bathroom at his office his clothes are in his bedroom so he had to come home..
"Great.. now I'll eat alone.." I said then the doorbell suddenly rang "or maybe not?" I added as I made my way to the door
I looked out and saw the whole band outside the gates "Well, lucky you Hiccup.. you won't eat alone today" I told my self as I made my way to them
When I opened the door I met my girlfriend's angry yells and screams
"Whoa! Mer.. what's going on?" I asked
"You really have no idea? She ask
"You think I would be asking of I knew?" I asked her back which made the situation worse and just pissed her off more.
"Okay, how about you guys go inside and let's talk?" I invited them.. they all agreed and went inside. I closed the door and head inside the house welcoming them
"Nice house!" Punzie complimented
"Thanks" I replied
"Punzie.." Elsa gave her a warning tone.. I immediately noticed this so I hurriedly made them sit down.. "You guys want anything?" I ask
"Yes." Merida said "Great what can I get you?" I asked them
"More like what you should give us." Elsa said.. more like correcting me "Okay?" I said still confused
"So what should I give you?" I ask them
"Answers." Elsa, again simply answered but I can feel her deadly eyes darting right at me
"Okay, where are the questions then?" I ask them back
"Who was the girl you were with?" Merida asked this time
I went blank for a moment not being able to answer them.. "What girl?" I finally replied feeling confused
"The girl?" They tried to remind me but still nothing.. "Ugh! Hiccup bro! The girl you were with yesterday! At the park! The blonde!" Jack yelled
"Right.." I just simply said.. "I don't know." I honestly said
"What!?" They all said in union while I just nodded "What do you mean you don't know?" Punzie asked
"Actually I know who are you guys talking about.. I actually don't know her name, but I don't know what the big deal is" I said shrugging my shoulder
"What?" Asked Mer in disbelief "Okay, guys chill.." Jack tried to cool the situation down
"Hiccup.. do you even watch TV?" Asked Jack
"Of course I do" I answered
"Okay.. did you watch the news just now?" asked Rapunzel
"No.. I just woke up was about to make breakfast then turn the TV on, then you guys suddenly came so I didn't get to do what I gotta do." I said explaining
"Ugh, I'll tell him." Elsa said, I raised my brow at her and waited "You know the girl? That you carried in a bridal style?! Took her inside your car then drove off!!" Elsa said in a calm voice then the other second she was yelling
"Okay, okay chill.. yeah? I took her to the hospital because she got injured from the fight" I explained to them which made them stand stiff
"What fight?" Punzie asked looking completely unaware
"I thought you guys watched the news?" I asked "Ugh.. they probably only captured the so called "lovey dovey" thing with the girl" I said rolling my eyes
"Alright, I'll make breakfast while telling you guys the full story.." I said smiling and walked over to the kitchen where they followed
[Time Skip]
"So your telling me that both of you saved the woman and then she got injured and so you brought her to the hospital?" Jack asked while his mouth is full of food
"Yes" I simply replied
"See, told you guys Hiccup didn't cheat!" Jack said while Elsa just rolled her eyes at him"Hmm.. Hiccup.. your cooking skills are Great!" Jack complimented
"Thanks.." I said
"So.. my baby didn't really cheat?" Mer said walking towards me..
"Yes I didn't.. and why would I? I have the best girlfriend the world could ask for!" I said kissing her
"Ugh, they are the most disgusting love birds I've ever seen.." Rapunzel said
"You're just bitter because you didn't get your first love!" Merida teased while I just laughed when Punzie rolled her eyes then grumpily sat down pouting
"Ugh, guys! Stop bringing that up!" Jack said irritated
I couldn't help but laugh.. back then Elsa was not a part of the band.. of course the band was never really that famous.. it's only for our school.. and Rapunzel was deeply in love with Jack.
Also back again I wasn't in love with Merida, I only fell for her on 9th grade, Elsa joined us half way through 9th grade.. we all became good friends then and stopped attending school last year.. of course we were homeschooled..
We plan on coming back to school after our concert taking a break from everything...
"Hiccup!" A sudden call of my name brought me back to reality.. that's weird, the voice is so familiar.. but he shouldn't be here..!
"Hiccup!" I hear my Dad call me one more time.. "Oh, you brought your friends over.. well we need to talk!" He firmly said.. I gulped and followed him to his home-office..
"Yes, Dad?" I ask
"What was that about?" He said looking mad
"What are you talking about?" I ask confuse.. what is he talking about? Seriously..
"About the girl! I heard and saw it on the news! The paparazzi were asking about it!" He said looking really mad.. if he wasn't my Dad I would have peed my pants right now. (cause I've seen him like this like 10×)
"Oh-.. yeah, I'll explain to the paparazzi later.." I said
"Well son, you're gonna have to explain right now." He said
"I would love to, but I need to freshen up and hold a press conference.." I said
"Way ahead of you, now go freshen up.. were going." He said, it was more like a command..
I went back to the kitchen and quickly explained it to the band and then went up stairs to freshen up.. I decided to wear a black suit and pants that would match it and my black shoes.. I went down stairs and my Dad was also wearing something formal..
"C'mon, Son" He said walking outside.. the band already left when they heard I was holding a press conference to clear things up.. when we arrived we were greeted with cameras flashing and bunch of questions from the paparazzi.. we were quickly protected by Dad's bodyguards and made way for us
As soon as we sat they started bombarding me with questions.. "Who was the girl you were with?" Someone asked
"The thing is.. I don't know who she is.. we just helped a Woman and by doing so she unfortunately got injured so I had to bring her to the hospital" I answered
"But why you? We have seen that there is an ambulance.. why not let the ambulance give her a ride instead?" Asked another one
"Well.. the ambulance is already full and they were in a hurry as the Woman's son got stabbed.. so they didn't have the time to treat her wound.. they also didn't notice her injury, I don't know how but they were probably so busy that they didn't even realize someone else got hurt." I explained expecting them to believe me
"Can we get a solid proof of this?" Asked another journalist..
"Well, I don't know the girls name and I don't have any contact with her right now.." I explained.. ugh she didn't give me her number since I dropped her off near her dorm.. I could just look for her later on
"How can we be sure you're not lying? Also is she your girlfriend? If so then why are you hiding your relationship with her?" Asked another journalist
"No, she is not my girlfriend.. I will prove this by bringing her here sooner or later, as soon as I find her I will hold another press conference to clear this up.." I said hopping that they would leave the matter
"What about your Dad? What do you feel Mr. president?" Asked another journalist
"Well, I believe my Son.. he don't know the girl that you saw him with yesterday..." My Dad said
"What is your proof that your Son is not hiding his relationship with this girl? You may even be helping him hide it" a journalist tried to argue
"Well, if I say that she is my girlfriend would you have left us alone?" I asked them back.. they gasp and looked at each other confused
"So are you admitting that she is your girlfriend?" A journalist ask
"What? No!" I quickly denied
"Then what are implying? If we would leave you guys alone.. would you admit that you and her are dating?" They asked
"Yeah, probably.. I mean if I was dating a non showbiz girl of course I wouldn't tell the public. She probably doesn't even like lots of attention as she is not used to it.. so revealing that I have a non showbiz girlfriend and who she is paparazzis may invade in her life and I wouldn't want that." I explained
"But if the paparazzi doesn't invade in her life then I would freely tell the public who my girlfriend is" I added as the journalist looked at each other and nodded.. seems like I'm finally convincing them.. until
"So, may we know your girlfriend's name?" They asked and I was shocked.. I thought I said she wasn't my girl?!
"Didn't I just said she wasn't my girlfriend?" I told them clearly annoyed but I'm not showing it
"No? We thought she was.." a journalist replied
"Does this mean the ship Mericcup is now sinking?" A journalist asked
"What?" My Dad was shocked to learn that people ship us both.. to be fair my dad isn't so friendly towards Merida's parents.. he agreed that we'd be friends but he didn't say about agreeing her to become my girlfriend...
"Well that it isn't the case..." I responded..
"What do you mean?" They asked confused by my response
"Well-" I was cut off by my Dad "That is enough.. we will continue this press conference next time." He firmly said
When we left we were guided by Dad's bodyguards to protect us from the paparazzi.. when we got inside his car we were both quiet till the car started to move from its place. "Hey Dad.. I just wanted to say sorry.." I started
"Hiccup.. I know that you are big enough to decide what's right for you.. but to choose Merida is really something. I don't know what has gotten into you.." he said looking really disappointed.. he sounded like one too
"Sorry Dad.. but me and Merida are really in-love.." I said
"Did you know.. I used to date her mother?" He said that left me stunned.. "What?" I asked in disbelief
"Yes, Merida reminds me of her Mother.. she will never prioritize you Hiccup.. I was really broken when her Mother dumped me.. but I was glad too" he said looking at me then smiled..
"Why?" I asked.. if he was broken by the break up why was he suddenly glad?
"Gerald, bring us to my private beach.. the one filled with good memories.." He said
Does he mean..? We went to the special beach where my mother was last seen.. I missed her
"Dad.." I called
"Yes, Son?" He replied waiting for me to say something
"Why were you glad.. that you and Mer's Mom broke up?" I asked again
"Because.. I met your Mother.." he said looking up the sky then closing his eyes.. it was such a beautiful view.. my father was standing right beside me while the sunset was already visible looking very beautiful...
That sentence made me feel goosebumps.. I know very well that.. that one sentence ment a lot.. "Well, its not like I want you guys to break up.." he continued then looked at me seriously
"I just want you to be careful Hiccup.. the world is full of surprises.." he said giving me a piece of advice..
"I think I'll be able to handle the worlds cruelty when I'm with Merida.." I said looking forward watching the sunset then sat down when my Dad sat...
"I don't want you to end up like me Hiccup.. I had to suffer first before meeting my one and only true love.. your Mother. Merida's Mother never prioritize me.. it was always her career and social status that mattered most.. nothing else.." He explained
"But Dad.. Merida is not like her Mother.." I said fighting
He shook his head.. "Son, one day.. the person you trust the most will betray you.. only then you will realize how unfair the world is.." he explained I wanted to argue but it feels like he has more to say than that so I kept quiet.
"You can't always trust what you see, Son" he said
He saw how deep i must have been think as he laughed "Maybe your true love is someone like your Mother.. with those beautiful blue eyes she owns that embraces me through my hardest times.."
"Merida has blue eyes.." I said looking at my Dad with a smirk then laughed when he looked at me grumpily..
"Like I said.. don't get fooled by the world Son.. it may seem like Merida is the one but you never know when the world will turn against you.." He explained as looked lovingly in the sunset...
I looked at the sunset too.. 'blue eyes huh..?' I thought to myself.. for some reason only one person came into my mind when I thought of someone else with blue eyes other than Merida..
=Valka's POV=
Astrid..
She was so beautiful with her hairstyle in a half up half down with a braid only on the back.. (her hairstyle in httyd 3)
She was wearing a flower crown with some leafs on it for the extra design. She was in a blue beautiful flowy dress and her hair was like flying in a slowmo as her head turned around to look at me while her body was facing a bit sideward and her hands were around dancing with the wind as the dandelions fall down.. and then she smiled
Ruff and Tuff were fighting on the a bit far side from Astrid that is why it's seemed like there were dandelions falling.. it was such a beautiful moment... Snotlout on the other hand just stared at her jaw dropped while Heather and Fishlegs were taking their time laughing and flirting?
(For Ruff and Tuff their fight was like getting on top of each other then pushing the other to get on the top of the other then rolling around if pushing does not work.. that is why the mini dandelions detached from like the flowers head and since the wind was going to the right side the dandelions were flown rightward and since Astrid is in the middle it seemed like there were dandelions falling.. hope you get the same imagination as I did)
"You look absolutely beautiful" I complimented her as she walked to me and then sat down..
"Thank you" she said then smiled at me
"Special your blue eyes, the reminded me of my self.. you remind me of my self..." I said.. she didn't seem surprises nor shocked rather she laughed
"You see it too?" She asked
"What do you mean?" I asked her back
"Well.." she stopped and then sat down beside me and laid her head on my shoulder
"a lot of students even the parents say we are so alike..." She continued "especially the eyes" she then added
"Yeah.. I see it too, I can see that in physical looks we are totally alike but.. the truth is.. you are nothing like me.." I said
She looked at me confused "you are more like my husband.. you may have my looks but you have my husband's personality.." I said
"You had a husband?!" She asked shock
"Yes.. not just a husband but a family.. I have a Son with him. But one stormy night as I was grabbing our son away from the sea I was taken away by the sea and with the force of the storm I was slowly losing hope.. not until someone found me unconscious with blurry memories of my past.." I explained while having a blurry flashback
"I can't even remember his face nor his voice.." i said as a tear fell out of my eye
Astrid pulled me into a hug and comforted me.. until Snotlout ruined the moment "Why are you crying Miss Principal?" He asked
"None of your business.." Astrid replied
Snotlout was smirking not minding Astrid "Did you know that my Dad says no adult should ever cry!" He said smirking
"Shut up, Snotlout!" Astrid tried to push him away but instead he came forward and said something that made Astrids blood boil
"Stop crying Miss Principal! Your not a baby anymore!" He said and then Astrid came charging towards him held his shirts collar then punched him right in the face which made him flew back.
≠Stoick's POV≠
I said showing him my moves as i tell my story
"Wait, so you actually punched Spitelout?" Hiccup asked laughing
"Why yes, he was annoying me so I punched him and he flew back" I said laughing
I said as I looked up and closed my eyes as air came crashing through my body.. nostalgia...
~Astrid's POV~
We got home and I have already changed into a comfortable outfit while Snotlout is still whining as he pressed the ice on his jaw
"Astrid, you might be a beauty on the outside but on the inside you're a beast! Snotlout yelled
"Hoho, I can indeedly believe that Astrid could kill an assassin with her skills" Tuff laughed at Snotlout as i thanked him for the "can kill an assassin" thing
"Okay that's enough.." Aunt Valka said "You should all go to bed.. I'm going back on my own house now so take care.. okay?" She said
"Yes.." I said in a bored tone and after she left we all went inside the bathroom and brushed our teeth.. of course 2 different bathrooms
Then I got ready for bed and laid there as I stared at the ceiling above.. soon the darkness consumed me
-Hiccup's POV-
I laid on my bed as I stared at the ceiling and wondered if I should take my Father's advice..
I shifted my body to the side as I looked at my bedside table thinking if Merida would really leave me..
I brushed off the thought and closed my eyes just to be woken up by a beautiful figure coming through my mind.. I sat up and wondered why was my mind picturing her again'
I lay down on my bed again and stared at my ceiling as I ran my fingers through my hair...
For some reason I couldn't stop thinking about her
'I think it's just because I'm anxious as there is an issue about me and her.. beside I love Merida.. i would never let go of her.. she's the love of my life and I would prove that to my Father..' I thought to myself..
Until then.. I would find a way to clear things up and stop...
