Sayori quickly opened the door, to the point I was afraid the door would break from its hinges, but they thankfully stayed put.

"Guuuyys!! I've brought a new club member!" Sayori exclaimed. Everybody's head perked up when they saw me. I stopped in my tracks when I saw them...this club is full of cute girls!

"Sayori!! You should tell us before you invite people randomly," One of the girls pouted. They had pink bubblegum hair, pink eyes, and they seemed to be more petite than the others.

"S-Sorry! They're just the new kid, and I thought that they would like to join our club as a starting-out club for this new school. I didn't think to tell you guys ahead of time..." Sayori sighed.

"It's alright, Sayori. We're glad you were thinking of the club, after all!" Another girl exclaimed. She had long brown-ish hair that is in a white bow, and green eyes that seemed to glisten in the light.

The other girl, who had purple hair, purple eyes, and seemed to be more reserved than the others, looked up from her book to see what all of the commotion was. When she realized it was because of a new club member, she walked over to us.

"Oh, Sayori...you brought in a new club member?" The purple haired girl asked Sayori.

"Yup!" Sayori giggled. "How about everybody should introduce themselves first! Since Y/N's a new kid, after all!"

"My pleasure! My name is Monika, the president of the Literature Club. I'm so glad you had the time to arrive! It really helps our club out," Monika stated.

"U-Um...my name is Yuri...oh! Is it alright if I make tea for everybody?" Yuri offered.

"That would be lovely, Yuri," Monika chuckled.

The pink haired girl stayed silent for a while, before finally introducing herself.

"My name is Natsuki, I guess...you better remember it! Or I'll be your worst nightmare," Natsuki giggled.

"I bet you would be," I sarcastically remarked.

Natsuki snickered, and she sneakily smiled at me.

"Y/N's your name right? I'm pretty sure I heard Sayori say it once," Monika noted.

"Yeah, it is," I told her.

"Nice name! What made you want to join the Literature Club?"

"Oh...I just thought it would be interesting! I do have a bit of a passion for literature."

"I'm glad! I want to make sure you have a good time here, alright?"

"Alright, Monika."

Monika gave me a quick smile as Yuri finished up the tea she was making everybody. I sat down in a chair next to Sayori as Yuri dropped off a tea cup in front of me.

"I hope you don't mind Oolong tea...since I'm so used to making it, I forgot to ask you if you even wanted tea and what your preference was...my apologies, Y/N," Yuri apologized, clearly seeming embarrassed.

"Oh, it's fine! No need to worry about it, Yuri," I reassured her. "I just appreciate that you were thinking about our club members, you know?"

Yuri smiled to herself for a moment before nodding.

"Yeah...okay!" Yuri exclaimed. I was drinking my tea and chilling in my chair. Yuri walks over to me, and takes a seat next to me. "Hey Y/N...I've been wondering, what type of books are you into?"

"Oh, it depends on my mood. I've been really getting into horror and fantasy lately, but because of my younger sister, she's been wanting me to read Manga, so today I was going to go book shopping for some Manga to read as well," I explained. Natsuki's head perked up at hearing the word "Manga".

"Oh, that's quite interesting!" Yuri chuckled. "That will be noted."

I nodded and smiled slightly.

All of a sudden, Monika decided to make a club meeting.

"Hey guys? I think I have an idea for a club activity!!" Monika exclaimed. Everybody stopped in their tracks and turned to face their heads towards Monika. "Since we have a new club member, I feel like we should let them get to know us more! So my thoughts are: Write a poem at night and then tomorrow we can share it with everyone!"

"That sounds like a great idea!" Sayori cheered. But Yuri and Natsuki didn't seem that fond of it.

"M-Monika! I'm not that confident to share my writing to...to...to everybody!" Natsuki stuttered.

"I agree...I get quite nervous to share the writing aspect of me," Yuri explained.

"I agree as well, but it doesn't hurt to try something new, right?" Sayori asked. "How about we do poems tonight, and if we don't like it, we don't have to do it tomorrow night?"

Natsuki and Yuri hesitantly nod.

"Y/N, what about you?" Monika asked me. "Do you feel comfortable sharing poems?"

"Well...I'm not against it!" I told them. Monika smiled at me and nodded.

"Then it's final! We'll write a poem tonight to share with the club!" Monika noted. "The club's meeting is concluded! Everybody can go home when you like to now."

Sayori seemed to nod and pack her things.

"Well, I'll be leaving. Bye everybody!!" Sayori waved to the club and skipped down the hall, humming a sweet tune to herself as she left.

As I was packing up, Natsuki walked over to me.

"Y/N?" Natsuki called out to me.

"Hm? What is it?" I asked her.

"I heard that you were going to look for a Manga to read, is that correct?" Natsuki questioned. I nodded. "Well...I wouldn't mind helping you pick out a Manga to read! I-If you want to, of course! It's not like I want to help you or anything..."

"I would love your help! But are you sure you aren't busy after school?"

"If I was busy, I would have never offered," Natsuki huffed.

"Okay, okay. True."

I finished packing up and I stood up from my chair.

"Ready to go?" I asked her.

"Yep! Don't make me regret helping you," Natsuki sighed.

"Alright, alright. Let's go."

Natsuki and I walked out of the classroom and headed to the comic store, where they'd have their Manga collections. Luckily I brought my Debt Card with me to pay for everything, or Natsuki would have killed me.

"What Manga would you like to try out?" Natsuki asked.

"My sister says I should try an easy-going Manga first as the first Manga I read. Do you have any suggestions for that?"

"I believe I do! Follow me."

I followed Natsuki. She showed me a whole Manga shelf filled with easy-going Manga. I picked one that seemed the most pleasing, and went along with it.

"Huh..." Natsuki gasped.

"What is it?" I asked.

"E-Eh? Nothing! It's just...I've never seen this Manga before..." Natsuki realized.

"You haven't?"

"No...but why is that to your concern? Hmph!"

While Natsuki turned away, I slipped the Manga collection Natsuki was glaring at in my bag. Just as a little prize for her...

"Anyways, let's just pay for your new Manga's and get out of here!"

Natsuki waited for me outside of the comic store as I was paying for everything, which cost around 150 dollars...I hope this is worth it...

I went outside of the comic store where I met Natsuki.

"Finished?" Natsuki noticed.

"Yeah! Oh, also...you know the Manga collection you haven't got yet...?"

"Yeah. No need to rub it in!"

"I'm not rubbing it in..." my voice trailed off as I brought out the box of the new Manga's Natsuki was looking at. "I got them for you, just as a 'thank you' present, and gratitude for helping me out."

Natsuki nervously took the box from me, blush spread across her face. But she tries to hide it the best she could.

"Y/N...y-you didn't need to-" Natsuki gasped for air.

"I know. But really, thank you for helping me. I really appreciate it, you know?"

"Ah...thanks...can you keep the box with you until school the next morning? I don't want my Dad seeing me carry this..."

"Of course, Nat," I took the box from her hands.

"N-Nat...?" Natsuki yelped.

"Yeah...it's your new nickname...do you like it?"

"I mean...I'm not against it...!"

I nodded, and then looked at the time.

"I got to get home soon..." I sighed. "I'll see you tomorrow, Nat!"

"Y-Yep! Bye!" Natsuki hurried off home. I chuckled to myself as I walked home, smiling to myself gleefully...I'm proud of what I did today, and how happy I made Natsuki feel. Let's hope it can be like this more often...
