Akari screamed, "He is a serial killer!"
A serial killer?! The guy I slept with? The father of my twins?
I was shivering coldly. I was startled because of how stupid I had been to fall for his tricks. I hoped it was a lie as I turned to face Akari. But, seeing her face full of tears, anger, and terror, I couldn't help but accept the reality.
I slept with a serial killer... Oh...
My mind went blank for a second.
So I was a target at the first place, huh? But w-why? I NEVER DID ANYTHING TO YOU! WHY?! WHY?!
I was panicking till I came to my senses.
W-wait, he knows them! What if he goes after them! R-Ruby! What if he kills Ruby!
I was starting to worry when I heard a huge crash on the floor. Akari was no longer seated in her chair as I turned to face her; instead, she had collapsed to the floor.
A-Akari?!
I tried to get up from my chair, but my puny baby body prevented me from doing so. I noticed Akari sweating and struggling to breathe.
Akari! H-Help! Anybody! HELP!
What could I do, though? I am only a baby. A little, helpless baby who could only cry-
Wait! Cry... I can cry!
I began crying as loudly as I could so that someone would hear me. I kept crying, but no one could hear me until...
"It's alright Ai...", Akari woke up as she heard my cry.
When I turned to face Akari, I was touched by the gentle touch of her hand.
"It's alright, mama is alright Ai."
Her face was staring back at me, and it reminded me of the day I was born to this new life. This sensation made me feel warm and cozy. Is this... Love?
"Waaaaa! Waaaaa!", I cried in relief that she woke up.
As I saw Akari struggle to rise, I couldn't stop crying. When she stood up, she carefully carried me to my room and softly placed me in my crib. She gently wiped my tears away and kissed me on the cheek. I could see her having a hard time walking because of that fall earlier.
"Did mama worry you Ai? Forgive me", Akari softly stroked my head, "There there, mama was just shocked that's all", Akari then gave me a loving smile. She then began to sing me a lullaby while sitting on a chair next to the crib.
After taking a deep breath, Akari begins to sing, "A girl who had dreams as she walks through the sea. She carries a bag full of dreams. She gave it to people she meets on the way. She couldn't help but smile on her face. But the further she goes..."
M-my eyes are getting sleepy, but I wanna know what happens the further she goes...
As I was about to fall asleep, I notice Akari smiling at me as she goes away.
D-Don't go yet! I... *Yawns* I still need to know if you are o-okay and is m-my children are okay...
I was amazed at the time that I was still able to sleep despite learning that terrible news. Perhaps it was because of that lovely music... Or perhaps it's just that Akari's voice sounds so peaceful...

/Akari Pov/
After I put Ai to bed, I went to my room and took some medicines to drink.
I must have overreacted for that to happen, I suppose. However, I had just got better, so the shock must have caused me to collapse. Seeing her mother collapse must have shocked Ai...
I thought Ai's expressions in that moment I fell.
Is it just me, or does her expressions shows too much emotion?
I chuckled a little.
No no, maybe my baby just has an emotional personality.
I stepped out to my balcony to get some fresh air and think on the situation.
"I wonder how Aqua and the Ruby is feeling..."
I took a deep breath in and closed my eyes as I started to recall some old memories.
"{Hey Akari... Did you know that Mama has a favorite Idol?}"
"{Who is it Mama?}"
"{Her name has a meaning of love in it. Actually, I was planning to give you a name that symbolizes love.}"
"{Really?! Then why did you give me a name that symbolizes light?}"
"{Before I had you, I was trapped in this void called darkness. Even though my husband and my idol gave me some light... When I had you...}", My Mom then smiles so happily "{You drove all the darkness away! You are my light, your Papa is my savior, and my idol was my hope.}"
"{I'm really curious about the idol you are talking about Mama.}"
My mom paused for a second, "{Well, let's just say she went to a far away place for a vacation.}"
So that's what you meant of vacation... I never knew your idol was Ai, mother. Maybe that's why you were so down that day... I should have known.
I looked up to the sky and said, "Aqua, I hope you know what you are doing."
*Riing-Riing-Riiiing*
I reached into my pocket, pulled out my phone, and answered it.
"Hello?"
[Ahh! Akari! It's me, lemonade!]
I laughed and replied, "Haha, yes lemonade, what is it?"
[Ahh, the culprit... We found his place-]
I suddenly asked her, "WHERE?"
[But we just found out he left the country. All his important files is definitely with him. I have no choice but to continue the search out of japan...]
I replied with sadness, "Ahh I see."
[You okay?]

"Because school starts in three months, I am still caring for Ai for the time being; I will find a babysitter later."

I paused for a second, "Not yet..."

"Ok! Ok! Stop with the exaggerations. He couldn't call me because my dad really scolded him for this one. But this time, he is really busy for a shoot, but he will call me when he is free."

I ended the call and gave a loud sigh.
"Miya, I'm sorry, but I can't just spend my life happy knowing that someone is out there who killed Ai. But... I really can't interfere with them to find him, so it's best to wait for Aqua's next move."
I hope Aqua and Ruby is okay... For now, let's just continue being the mother Ai needs and go back to making music again...
