An excursion to the New Forest produced these photos:
This one roe deer didn't care I was there, he literally just carried on doing what he was doing and ignoring me in the process. Wise deer ~
This mother and her foal came straight into the camp. Honestly it was amazing, there were wild horses/ponies everywhere.
This one was alone
And then seven does. Could have gone a lot closer, but was worried about scaring them into the cars (you can't see in this picture, but directly behind them was a road which kind of ruined the scenery but oh well).
The same deer from earlier came back ^
A different set of parent and child. It was so frustrating because the sun was perfect for a really beautiful, clear picture, but I couldn't be in the right position to utilize that without scaring the horses. So no perfect picture :)
The trees in the evening. It was weird how wild it was, because most woods have paths in them these days, but in here there was no trail, no trace of human life at all - at least not where we were walking. It was dense and completely untouched, especially to the left of these photos.
This was this morning, the sun coming out from behind the clouds. You can't really see very well in this picture but you get the gist of how it looked.
They came back this morning XD
These all came into camp earlier, there were loads more with foals to the right but the pictures I took of them are just fuzzes lol
