The end of the day and the dinner passed quietly. Jin talked to Yoongi about his excessive way to punish the youngest boy of the family, but Yoongi didn't really care about his older brother's opinion.
The next days, Yejin worked part time only, to spend time with her children. It was their last days before going back to school and she decided to take care of the two youngest. Y/N was happy but not as much as Jungkook. And with his childish character regarding his relationship with Yejin, the others and Mr Kim in particular, found him extremely annoying. Being pampered by his mother was his favorite moment and a nightmare for the rest of the family. Even Hoseok and Jimin were waiting for his complete recovery and than that little game stops.
Yoongi: I vote to send him to Alaska...
Namjoon: I agree! Cold weather is maybe what his stupid brain needs to recover... if it is even possible.
Jin: I am sure that with your help to distract Yejin, we can exfiltrate him from the house.
Mr Kim and his 3 sons were sharing a drink in the living room while the girls and the 4 others were watching a movie in the theater room. 2 rooms, 2 ambiances.
Mr Kim: Don't tempt me... or should I ask Secretary Park to organize it?
Yoongi: Yes, do it!
Mr Nam: Excuse me Sir... (He interrupted them.) An urgent video call for you in your office.
Mr Kim: At this hour? Who is it?
Mr Nam:MrLouis from France.
Mr Kim stood up with a long sigh. They were in discussion with that guy from Paris that wanted to expand his business in Asia. Mr Louis contacted the Kim via a common friend of the head of the family.
Jin: Do you want me to assist to that call?
Mr Kim: It's okay, I will make it quick.
Namjoon: So, we forget about our plan for the little brat?
Mr Kim gave a last smile to his sons before following Mr Nam to his office.
Jin: He will be back in school in 2 days... let's be patient until then.
Yoongi: I should maybe leave the house for those next couple of days...
Namjoon: To go where? With whom? (He asked with a smile.)
Yoongi: Why do you want to know? Are you not busy dating Ha-Ri this weekend? Or did she eventually dump you?
Namjoon: She will never dump me!
Yoongi: (He smirked.) You're very confident about that.
Jin: Yoongi is right, you never know what can happen.
Namjoon: I am because it's not an option. She is my woman; I will never let her go away from me!
Jin: So, what are you waiting for to propose to her?
Yoongi: And leave the house by the same occasion!
Namjoon:What? You don't want to have your brother and your sister-in-law living herewith 2/3 nephews?
Yoongi: No way... what a nightmare!
Namjoon: Thank you... very considerate from you!
Jin: Namjoon, I can assure you that it's not against you. His plan is to have everyone leaving this house except Y/N.
Yoongi: Exactly!
After his quick video call, Mr Kim came back to the living room. His sons questioned him about the unexpected meeting, and he explained that Mr Louis was very insistent but as his project seemed interesting, he agreed to meet him in the coming weeks.
Namjoon said that he would do a complete check up of Louis' background, including his assets, official and unofficial interactions and personal life. No way to start a new deal with someone that can bring issues to the family.
After the case with the Park family, Namjoon never let any little detail pass throw his attention.
When the movie ended, Mr Kim left too to join his wife to their bedroom. Little by little, each one went to sleep too.

The weekend passed quickly and the two youngest were back to school. Jungkook asked to have the cast remove and pleaded that walking without the crutches will help his recovery, a kind of physical therapy done by himself. Yejin agreed only if he promised to have real seance with a professional every day after school at home and to not over work himself at school.
Y/N was happy to see Sohyun, they were in contact during the entire holidays, but it was better to be side by side in real life.
At the end of the day, the young girl accompanied Y/N to a specialize shop. The teenager asked Aman to make a quick stop before going home and he agreed. At first, the bodyguard was not sure that Y/N's idea was a good idea, but he couldn't say no to her.
Sohyun: It will be a good surprise for Jungkook.
Y/N: You think that he will like it? I couldn't find anything else.
Sohyun: He will love it... and I can already hear him brag about his gift to everyone.
Y/N: Yoongi Oppa was too hard with him, I want to lift his mood.
Sohyun: It is the best way... because you can't buy him a motorbike anyway... it's really really expensive!
Y/N: Ahahah... Yeah, you're right.
Aman: Miss Y/N, Mister Jungkook will be delight of your attention, I can assure you.
Y/N: Thank you Aman. I know that it was not easy for you after the accident... but you know it was not Jungkook's fault, nor yours... so stop with that serious face of yours. You have a concerned look since it happened... and I don't like to see you like that. (She gesticulated.) You see, I am perfectly fine and healthy!
Aman stared at her with his deep black eyes and sighed. He inhaled and put a half-forced smile on his face, the best he could do for now. Sohyun and Y/N couldn't retain their laughs at the view of the bodyguard's expression, not natural at all. But in a way, his second smile was more genuine. And it was the young girl's power, to bring smile on anyone face.
Aman: Please always stay healthy and happy... it's the best reward.
Y/N quickly paid for the gift she came to buy, and she asked the vendor to pack it nicely. Aman carried the package, and they made a stop by Sohyun's house before reaching home.
At the mansion, it was pretty quiet. Only Jungkook was there, with the therapist, in the guest room, finishing his session.
Y/N went to shower and when she came back downstairs, Mr Ko put collation on the table for her and Jungkook. The teenager showed up with an exhausted face few minutes later.
Jungkook: Gosh, that guy is a torturer! Why Mom asked him to be my therapist? And I thought that Dad didn't want to have him around her anyway...
Y/N: Mom asked him to take care of you because he is very good at his job, so Dad couldn't say no... and I am sure that you all exaggerate, he was not interest by Mom... even more with Dad around... it would be stupid.
Jungkook: You are too naïve, Sis'. Men are pervert who just want to put their hands on the girl they choose, never forget that!
Y/N shook her head at his brother's statement.
Y/N: Are you not a boy too?
Jungkook: First of all, I am not a boy, I am a man! And your brother is not like that... all men are like that except me, got it? That's why you should never let a guy approaches you, never listen to their pathetic tentative to flirt with you and...
Y/N: Oppa! Not again, please!
Jungkook: Okay, okay, but you know, right? (She ignored him and took a cake with a glass of juice.) Anyway, I need to quickly fully recover, like that, I won't have to support that torture!
Y/N: It's the best for you. If you don't heal correctly, you will face difficulties when you will be older.
Jungkook: Yes... Mommy... (She glared at him.) I already told you, you're not scary at all...
Jungkook giggled before digging into the food displayed on the table. Y/N finished her collation and she peeped to the package waiting on the floor in the corner of the room.
She stood up and grabbed the box. Jungkook followed her movements from the corner of the eyes, between two bites. He was wondering what was inside. She put it on the table.
Y/N: Oppa... (She pushed the box in front of him.)... it's for you.
Jungkook: Really? You bought a gift for me? Why?
Y/N: (She blushed.) It's just a little thing but... I hope that you will like it... (She stood next to him.)
Jungkook didn't waste a second and took off the packaging without waiting. He saw a black box and opened it to find a nice black helmet inside with a little sticker on the side representing a cute bunny biker. The teenager had a large smile on his face.
Jungkook: It's for me?
Y/N: You... you don't like it? If you don't, I can...
Jungkook: I love it! But why did you buy a helmet for me?
Y/N: Yours was damaged in the accident... and after what Yoongi Oppa did to your motorbike...
Jungkook put the helmet on the table and quickly stood up to hug his little sister. She hugged him back but when he ruffled her hair, she tried to break the hug.
Y/N: Ahh!! Stop doing that and let me go now!
Jungkook: Nope! Oppa is too happy, to let you go! You're the best little sister in the world!
Y/N: Oppaaa!!!
After few more seconds, he freed her and she put in place her hair with a what she thought a dark glare, making her brother laughed even more.
Jungkook: Thank you... it means a lot to me.
Y/N: I can not replace your motorbike, but I hope that one day, you can have a new one... and then, you will take me for a ride.
Jungkook: Of course, I will! Dad is a bit piss off now and Mom freaks out, but in few weeks, they will have forgotten everything, and Dad will buy me a new one... or I will it by myself, it's not a big deal!
Y/N: hum... but if you want to ride again a motorbike, you have to heal your leg properly!
Jungkook: Mommy mode is back! Chill out Y/N, Oppa is solid like a rock!
Y/N: Solid like a rock but whining because the therapist is too tough with you!
Jungkook: Eh, you don't know how his big hands are strong! If it was the sweet hands of a gorgeous woman therapist... you will not hear me complain...
Y/N, once again, shook her head. A moment ago, he was flattering himself for his good behavior toward the opposite gender, but he was just a teenager after all.
Before anyone came back home, Jungkook went to put the helmet in his room. Knowing the short temper of Yoongi, his brother could destroy his gift just by pleasure, knowing what it was and from who it was. Y/Nalso went to her bedroom to do her homework.

Everyone was back to his daily activities. Jungkook reeducation was going well, despite his regular complains about the therapist toughness. Yejin explained that it was not an option and Mr Kim urged his son to recover quickly, so that annoying therapist guy will not be around his wife for too long.
Because with Yejin's nice character, she invited him one night to share dinner with the family, and it didn't please Mr Kim at all.
Mr Kim: Honey, Jungkook is doing way better, we can maybe stop those seances of reeducation.
Mrs Son: He is still limping a little, so I think it's better that he continues. And Ji-Ho is a very skilled trainer. You know that.
Mr Kim:(He mumbled.)I know how he looks at you too...
Mrs Son: Did you say something?
Mr Kim: Hum... no, nothing... we should sleep, it's late.
Mrs Son: My dear husband is getting old... (She teased him.)
Mr Kim: Do you want to taste your old husband capacities??!!

The weekend passed and on Monday, Mr Kim had a meeting with his two eldest sons and Mr Louis. The French businessman was accompanied by his personal assistant, Miss Carat, a beautiful woman with a strict look.
Namjoon confirmed a bit earlier than everything seemed clean on the French man side. Mr Louis was serious in his project's implement in Asia, especially in Korea.
Mr Louis: I am glad that we can finally work together Mr Kim.
Mr Kim: You prepared your project thoroughly, so there was no reason to not conclude that collaboration.
Jin: Mr Park, our secretary, can review the final details with your secretary and when everything is ready, we will sign the documents.
Mr Louis: That's great. Julie, please arrange everything. Did the ambassador confirm the reception on Friday?
Miss Carat: Yes Sir. (She handed him few invitations.)
Mr Louis: Merci. Mr Kim, I would like to invite you and your family.
Yoongi grabbed the invitations and read the information on it. It was a reception done by the French Ambassador on Friday evening. A private event to commemorate the good relationship between the two countries.
Mr Kim: Thank you for the invitation but I rarely participate to those kind of events, even more with my family.
Mr Louis: Really? What a pity! The Chef at the embassy is really famous and I can assure you that just the quality of his food worths to come.
Miss Carat: This reception is for few selected guests only; the security will be very tight.
Jin: I guess it will. Let's conclude that meeting first and we will inform you in due time if we can participate to this event.
Yoongi: (He stood up.) Please...
Yoongi escorted Mr Louis and his assistant to the lobby floor. His attention was on Miss Carat. Her cold attitude was different and interesting. Not at all what he was used to by women.
Miss Carat nodded without a smile before leaving. Mr Louis was more friendly and smily. The duo was the complete opposite in their attitude, choice of clothes or way to express.
In the meeting room, Mr Kim was focused on the invitation.
Mr Kim: Do you think that we should go to that reception? I mean, Yejin would love to meet French people and especially that Chef, but I don't want to expose her too.
Jin: It's an official event from the embassy, no risk, I think.
Mr Kim: Try to find the list of the guests. If it's safe, we can go.
Jin: Noted. Father, that deal is not about our mafia business, everything should be okay, and if there is paparazzi, we will handle them.
Mr Kim:Thanks son.
They both left the meeting room to their respective offices. At the end of the day, Jin received the information regarding the event from one of his men and there was no issue to participate.
After Mr Kim received the feedback from Jin, he left the office to go to Yejin's café. When he entered, he was greeted by Jimin who was taking a break before his next masterclass.
Jimin: Dad, you couldn't wait tonight to see your wife?
Mr Kim: Exactly. Where is my beautiful half?
Jimin: With a supplier, but it won't last long.
The part-timer came with a glass of water and a black hot coffee, his usual order. He thanked her with a bright smile. His kindness toward Yejin's employees was well known and he always received the best attention when coming.
Mr Kim: Jimin-ah, we are invited to a reception at the French embassy, I will ask Yejin if it interests her, do you want to come? The Chef is apparently really good.
Jimin: Really? When? A French's reception, interesting for sure!
Mr Kim: Friday evening.
Jimin: I need to find a nice suit. Y/N is going too? She can be my partner; we will match our outfits!
Mr Kim: Hold on son, I still have to confirm with Yejin, and I am not sure that Y/N will be interesting by that kind of party.
Jimin: Yejin will be super excited by the idea, and I am sure that Y/N would love to wear a nice dress and meet foreigners. For her, it will be like a real-life study.
Mr Kim was not so sure, but he will propose her too. 10 minutes later, Yejin showed up after accompany out her supplier.
Mrs Son: Songho, did you arrive long ago?
Mr Kim: Not really, just enough time to share a coffee with my son. Did your meeting go well?
Mrs Son: We found a way to both be satisfied.
Jimin: Yejin, what do you think about a party at the French embassy this Friday? Want to go? It will be fun!
Mr Kim: Jimin-ah! Are you a little kid?
Jimin: What?
Mr Kim: Don't you have a class starting soon?
Jimin: Okay, okay, I will let both of you talking. See you tonight.
Jimin left to prepare his class upstairs after giving the list of the attendees to the manager of the café.
Mrs Son: So? What's going on?
Mr Kim: Our new partner, Mr Louis, invited us to a reception at the French embassy on Friday. Usually, I don't go to that kind of event but maybe, you will find that interesting, so I wanted to talk to you about that. Jimin wants to go to test their Chef's food so, if you want too...
Mrs Son: Absolutely! It's a chance that will not show up easily... being invited at an embassy... and it's true that their Chef is well known. We studied some of his recipe during my training, it was very interesting to understand his process of creativity.
Mr Kim: Okay, I get it, you want to go, obviously.
After one hour, Yejin found a nice simple dark red dress with long sleeves. Mr Kim opted for a black suit, very classy.
They came back home just before dinner time and when everyone was present, the head of the family informed them about the reception. Jimin was the fastest to ask Y/N to go with him and to wear matching clothes. The young girl didn't hesitate to say yes.
Jin, Yoongi and Namjoon also confirmed their participation. The latest wanted to go there with Ha-Ri. He didn't waste time and texted her. Hoseok was not against the idea to go too and the two youngest declared that a party without them will not be a good party. Taehyung was curious about the French beauties that he could meet.
Mr Kim: Kids, I will take you to buy the necessary outfits tomorrow after school. Jimin, will you join us too?
Jimin: Yes, I am free tomorrow afternoon.
Mr Kim: For you, I guess you will be able to manage yourselves.
Namjoon: Ha-Ri confirmed that she is coming with us so I will go with her to buy our outfits.
Hoseok: I will join you tomorrow too, it's simple for me.
Jin: I will call our tailor and he will prepare appropriate suits for Yoongi and me.
Mr Kim: Great. Y/N, it will be a private event with selected guests, but I will be reassured if you can stay with one of your brothers all the time.
Y/N: Hum... no problem. And to be honest, even if I'm curious and excited by that reception, it's a bit intimidating to be around so important people.
Taehyung: They are not more important than Dad, don't worry.
Jungkook: Clearly!
Mrs Son: There will be the French ambassador, probably a lot of important people from French companies and a renowned chef!
Taehyung: Aunty, all of them have less power or money that your dear husband! Even all together.
Yejin looked at Taehyung then to Mr Kim, who was showing a proud smile and an amused look. His wife was still forgetting the weight of the Kim family. Family that she was part of now.
