"Why the hell is she so different?" Minji was on the verge of screaming. Why must everything be so difficult? After meeting this Hanni girl, she simply couldn't get her mind off her.

"Calm down, Min, I say I think you're overreacting a bit. Like don't you think it normal that you're thinking about this? You barely talk to anyone, let alone anyone talking to you," Haerin commented while swinging. Both the girls loved swings since they could remember. They had always talked about stuff on the swings since they were kids. Even now, in college, they still kept the tradition. "Maybe you're right," Minji sighed. She stared up at the sky. It was dusk, and you were able to see the faded moon.

"I'll just try to ignore it," she finally said. When she got no response, she turned her head to see a blushing Haerin. "Pfft, don't tell me Dani texted you? Let me see!" Minji reached over to grab the phone from a swatting Haerin. "No! It's nothing leave me alone!" Haerin finally replied, blushing even more now. "You really gotta tell her some time, Haerin." "No," was all Minji could get in reply. She shrugged and continued to stare at the moon.

---------

"I can't tell whose more stupid between you or Dani," Minji said between her friends. "It's obviously Haerin! She would jump over a fence to pet a cat!" "Hey that isn't stupid! That's a good reason!" Haerin remarked. "Yes it is!" Dani shot back. "Woah woah, calm down. I think this is it for our little game." Minji had always been the one to stop things before they became serious. Some could say it was second nature for her.

The three were walking to the café. Upon entering, they were greeted by the bubbly Hanni. "Hi, what can I get for you guys?" Hanni questioned. "Chai Tea Latte for me and 2 hot chocolates for these idiot kids." Minji was immediately hit by complains of Haerin and Danielle before silencing them. "It's true though. You guys do act like kids." "We do not!," the pair said in sync. Hanni smiled and went to go make their drinks.

"Go find a seat, I'll get the drinks," Minji said while the two went off. Only moments later did Hanni arrive with the 3 drinks. "Here you go. I'm assuming those are your friends?," Hanni wondered. "Yeah, a real bunch, aren't they?" "Looks like it! Well then, enjoy your drinks!"

Minji thanked her and walked over to where Haerin and Danielle were arguing again, or at least what it looked like. "What are you two up to now?" "Nothing!," both said on sync again. It was funny how half of the time the two were matched. Minji shrugged and sat down, handing them their drinks.

"So what was that over there?" Haerin was the first to ask. "What was what?" Minji questioned. "You and the barista!" Danielle spoke up this time. Minji rolled her eyes. Ever since she told Haerin about what had happened with Hanni, she teased her every second she could, and apparently Danielle got to hear about it too. "It's nothing. You guys are overreacting! All it is a little small talk," Minji said, trying to convince herself more than her friends. Really, all she wanted to do was to ignore it, as from experience, jumping to conclusions would end up in a mess. Both Haerin and Danielle started giggling and Minji just ignored them. She didn't need this right now. She already has enough stress.

---------

Type, edit, delete. Minji was working on her book, completely clueless about her surroundings and her noisy roommates. She had been working on her book, 'Blurred Films', for quite a while now. Recently though, she had a severe case of writer's block. Having no ideas nor energy, she closed her laptop and began thinking. Soon enough her mind wondered to Hanni. What was it about her that she found so appealing? Was it her hair? Her face? Her eyes? She quickly stopped these thoughts and got up and went to her bookshelf. It had been a bit since she read for fun. All she could read now was textbooks. Her mini library really only contained fantasy books. Most being books she read when she was a child that she had spent too much money on. Yet some books she still enjoyed, one of them being Eragon. She picked up the book, flipping pages while being teleported to her childhood.

Danielle opened the door to see a sleeping Minji with a book in her hands. She picked it up and looked at it. Afterwards, she quickly put a blanket over her before returning to her shared room with Haerin.

---------

Minji stared up at the ceiling fan. She absolutely despised this professor. He always had the longest classes. She would kill to either be in Mrs. Shin's or Mrs. Hwang's class right now. Most of the students thought they were the best professors due to their good personality and humor. Though Minji was still stuck here, in Mr. professor-who-
likes-to-torture-his-students' class. All she wanted to do was be in the café, working on something.

Finally class was done and Minji rushed out of there. She didn't have to wait for anyone since Haerin and Danielle were gonna hang out. Minji didn't believe half of what they said when they came back to the apartment but neither did she really care. She was walking to the café which was about a 5 minute walk away from her college, 10 minutes walk away from her apartment.

When she arrived. She was barely paying attention to anything. It was as if her mind went into auto pilot. This happened a lot, and she would always have someone else help her snap out of it. And this time that person was none other than Hanni. "Oh hey Minji! The regular?" She looked up, slightly confused, until she finally figured out what was happening. That's when she finally nodded. Hanni went back to make the drink while Minji waited.

"No friends today?" Hanni asked whole gcing Minji her drink. "No, just me. They're out doing something and I've got to actually start. working. I'm a few days behind schedule," Minji softly spoke. Hanni nodded and Minji went to go find her seat. She immediately began working, completely oblivious to a black-haired girl staring at her.

Hanni stared at Minji. Something about her was just so.. charming. Whenever she came she always worked on that book and she just looked pretty. What was it about her? Maybe how she ties up her hair, or maybe it's her eyes. Hanni realized she began daydreaming and she immediately went back to her duties, trying to keep her mind off Minji.

Minji was working on her book and finally got a chapter done. She thanked the gods and thought for a moment before going back to editing. She looked back and forth from her laptop to her notes, laptop to notes, laptop to notes. It was a never-ending cycle and it got tiring from time to time. Finally she checked the time and it was already 7pm. There was still light out but she always wanted to be home by 8 because it just felts wrong to be any later than that. Therefore, she got her things together and began walking out. "See you tomorrow!" said a familiar voice. Looking back to see Hanni, she smiled and waved goodbye before actually leaving.

Later on that evening, the door opened with Haerin carrying an asleep Danielle. "Wow, your the one taking care of Dani." Haerin glared at her before going to their room.

---------

The next morning Minji decided to talk. "Tell me, what the hell happened last night that you were the one having to bring home Dani?" Haerin looked at her then thought for a bit before replying. "Long story, I'd prefer you'd first see Dani, then ask her." It was a short yet decent reply. "Where is she anyways?" "Our room." Minji just nodded and continued to scroll on her phone when suddenly both of the girls heard a 'HAERINNNN'. "You go help your girlfriend," Minji said with a smirk. "Pfft, speak for yourself." Haerin walked away, leaving Minji slightly confused.

Minji got up from her spot on the couch and walked over to check on the girls. One look from the doorway was all she needed. Danielle was on Haerin's lap and it seemed as if she was glued to her. "Yeah fuck this shit." She went to go get her bag and yelling "I'M GOING TO THE CAFÉ," she left the apartment.

It was only around 12pm so Minjj decide to go for a walk instead. She kept on passing couples holding hands and it half of the time she cringed at them. Only once did she stop. She sat on a bench and went on her phone with no expectations. Suddenly there was a tap on her shoulder and when she turned around she saw a familiar, bubbly person. "Oh hey," Minji greeted. "Can I sit here?" Hanni asked, pointing to the space next to Minji. All Minji did was nod. She really didn't expect to be talking to Hanni as if she was a friend. She then wondered, did Hanni consider her a friend? She suddenly felt guilty for realizing that Hanni may actually think she's Minji friend, not saying that she wasn't, it was just that they don't really talk to each other. "You okay? You look worried," Hanni quickly expressed. "Oh yeah. I was just thinking. Anyways what are you doing here?" Minji wondered if Hanni was on break or if she worked on weekends as Minji never really went to the café on weekends. "I was just walking in the park on my day off, you?" Minji was right, Hanni doesn't work in weekends. "Have to get away from my roommates. I feel like I'm going to go sick or be infected with whatever disease they have." Hanni smiled at the comment and suddenly Minji felt giddy. Why was she feeling this? She push away the thought. "Are your roommates really that bad?" Minji thought for a moment before shaking her head. "No, though at times they can be oblivious that I'm still there. Do you have a roommate?" Minji asked. "Yeah, my little sister, Hyein." Minji nodded. "How old is she?" After Hanni hesitated Minji quickly apologized, "I shouldn't have asked that, it's not my business." "No no, it's okay. It's just that I tend to keep my sister private," Hanni quietly said.

"Oh, I better get going now. My sister is gonna be waiting for me." The two said goodbye and Minji began to wonder, how come this was the case? Is she okay? Is her sister okay? She tried to brush it off but it ended up sticking with her for the rest of the day.
