MAANVI'S POV
"Maanvi, get up, it's already 3, you'll get late and get screwed by your brother and father." I heard Shanaya shouting.
"Just 5 minutes please." I said pulling the blanket over my head.
"Woman!! You're getting married in another 4 hours." Rishita yelled and I woke up as reality hit me.
I was going to get married today. I got up and went to bathe and as soon as I finished bathing I saw the makeup artists already waiting for me.
I walked towards them and explained how I wanted my makeup and how my saree should be tied. It was 4 o'clock already.
I was done with the makeup and hair and it was 5 o'clock. Rishita entered all dressed up.
"Wow, you look gorgeous." She said admiring me.
"Are you sure? I mean is the makeup too much?" I asked looking at her a bit confused.
"No, it's perfect." She said and started helping me.
By the time I was completely ready, it was 5:30. I saw Maa, Shanaya, Mom, and Tara enter the room.
"You look beautiful." Shanaya said.
"Perfect." Maa said as she took her kajal from her waterline and put it behind my ear.
"My daughter-in-law looks absolutely stunning." Mom said hugging me.
"You look stunning. V is definitely going to go nuts after seeing you." Tara said making me blush.
"Thank you. But are you guys sure? I mean the makeup is not too much right?" I asked, looking at everyone.
"No, it's just perfect." Everyone said together making me laugh.
"Vimaa you look beautiful." Siya said as she walked in wearing a half saree which looked really pretty.
"You too sweetie." I said kissing her cheek.
I went out and got some photos clicked.
As I was taking pictures, I saw Vihaan coming towards me, he looked hottt.
He didn't see me, so I immediately went to my room.
When it was finally 6:30. Shanaya came to call me.
I went to the stage which is now decorated differently and I have to admit it was just like the way I wanted. It was like a dream.
I saw Vihaan already seated but I couldn't see his face because of the cloth. I sat facing him with the cloth separating us.
After conducting some rituals, the priest asked us to put our hands on each other's heads.
As soon as we placed our hands the cloth fell revealing each other's faces. He was gorgeous from near. I smiled at him as I couldn't control it and he smiled back.
The ceremonies went on...... kanyadaan was done..... Then he had to tie the mangalsutra. He got up with the mangalsutra in his hand and immediately maa and Shanaya came behind me to lift my hair as he tied the mangalsutra.
Then put vermilion on my forehead and then the toe rings. Then we had to put colored rice grains on each other's heads which was kinda fun.
Then later we both got up to take the seven rounds around the fire, each round had vows which we had to repeat.
Finally, the wedding was done and we went out to see the Arundhati nakshatra.
The priest asked Vihaan to show me the Arundhati nakshatra.
Vihaan held my hand and slowly took it up pointing towards the sky showing the Arundhati nakshatra, though none of us could actually see it.
We then went to have brunch. I and Vihaan had to sit together and we had to feed each other. Even though I was kinda nervous I tried my best to feed him without looking at him.
Finally, when everything was done we had to leave the venue. I had to bid my farewell to my family. I went and took my blessing from my parents with tears rolling down my cheeks and then hugged Shanaya. Then kissed Siya and hugged her.
As I got up from my knees I saw my brother and Vivek. I couldn't control my tears and I burst into tears. I hugged them and started crying as all the memories from childhood started running in front of me.
Even though there were moments I hated them, deep down I always loved them because they were my support system, my protectors, my brothers, my everything. I love them so much.
"We'll miss you, Maan." Vivek said patting my back.
"Stop crying fatty, your spoiling your makeup. Do you know how much they charged for it? It was a lot. So stop crying now." Bhagat said making me laugh.
"That's like my lil one. You know you can come home anytime. The doors are always opened for you lil one." He said controlling himself from crying.
I gave him a faint smile and nodded. I then told goodbye to everyone and followed Vihaan to the car.
I sat inside the car and then Vihaan came and sat beside me. He asked the driver to start the car and that's it we didn't speak till we reached his house except for him passing me the tissues.
I am finally married now and now I am not Maanvi Vishal Gowda. I am Maanvi Vihaan Gowda.
