You sat in the back of class with the rest of the Pogues as you were all talking to each other.
" Did any of y'all do your homework?" Pope asking at you them to the rest of everyone. School wasn't your strong suit at all anymore, the only thing you cared about when it came to school was art and still art.
The way you would write your notes with be with little doodles on the side of them to help you remember them better. " Why in the hell would I do my homework?" JJ said kicking his feet up on the desk that had no one in it in front of him.
Pope shakes his head at JJ and turns to face you in the seat beside him. " Please tell me that you at least did it?" Pope asked you with hope in his eyes.
" Would you be happy if I said no?" You asked looking at him.
" No."
" Then yes I did." You said looking at him with a smile on your face to try to cover up the lie that was all over your face that Pope could read also.
" You and JJ should had been siblings." Pope said as he turn back in his seat while you sit there with your mouth wide open with the comment that Pope just made to you.
" I know you did not just say that!" You said leaning over to him to get a look of his face while Pope try's not to laugh at you.
" Oh I did just say that and what are you going to do now?" He said with a smirk looking straight at you.
" I'll come up with something just you wait." You said crossing your arms out o n front of your chest as you looked away from Pope.
As you can tell from the way you and Pope talk to each other that you both have feelings for each other. But you two don't know that at all.
John B and JJ both look at each other and they sit behind you and Pope just laughing away at whatever you both were saying each other being all cute with each other with out knowing that you both liked each other and it was driving the rest of the Pogues crazy.
" When do you think they will just fuck for crying out loud?" JJ said looking over at John B who just looked at you trying to see if he could read your mind like he could always do when you were little.
" Dude I don't want to even think about Y/n and Pope fucking." John B said as he kept on looking between you and Pope hoping that soon that you would both figure out that you liked each other instead of going round and round each other for the rest of your life's.
" I just hope that figure it out sooner or later." JJ said back to John B and John B was hoping the same thing.
While class was in full motion, you couldn't pick up a single thing she was saying to the class at all. Like everything was going thought one ear and out the other. You couldn't put down In your notes about what she saying, you just kind of stared out in space not knowing what to do.
You just wanted to be in your next period which was art. That was all you could think of to keep you going for today.
As the class ended before the bell rung you and JJ were talking to each other as your teacher came over with a pice of paper in her hand looking at both you and Pope.
" Good morning Y/n, How are we doing this morning?" She said with a care in try words she was saying to you.
" I'm doing good Mrs. Hill. " You said with a smile on your face very confused look on your face as she was still standing in front of you.
" Can you and Pope come outside with me for a second." She said Pointing to the door that lead out to the hallway, You and Pope looked at each other before you made your way up to follow her out the door with Pope close on your heels.
As you get out there she wanted for Pope to close the door before she said anything to the both of you.
" The reason I have you both out here is because Y/n I hate to say this but you are falling behind in my class and I knew that you and Pope are close friends and he has the highest grade in my class and I would like him to tutor you." She said as she looked between you and Pope waiting for a reply from either of you.
" Um, yeah sure. I can help her out." Pope said fixing his hat that was on his head while looking at you then to her.
" Perfect! Y/n I know that you are in good hands with this one." She said as she pats you and Pope on the back before she made her way back in the classroom.
You just stood there not even knowing what to say as Pope stood there beside you waiting for you to say something. But all you could do was just stay there at look at the floor.
" I really thought I was doing really good in this class." You said as you looked up at Pope and he was already looking at you with a worry look on his face.
" Hey." Pope said coming up to you to pull you into his arms as he held you in the middle of the hallway where no one would bother you two.
" Everything will be okay. We will get through this together." Pope said to you and only you as he kiss the top of your head.
This isn't the first time that he has done something like this with you. You knew that he meant what he said to you, that the both of you will make it through this together like you have always done.
" Okay." You said to him. He smiled down at you as the both of you walked back into class and sat back down at where you were sitting at before hand.
JJ and John B both looked at each other waiting for you to say something to them before they asked you.
" She said that Pope was my new tutor for this class." You said not looking at them while you said that.
No one said nothing for a long time as JJ had his mouth wide open just looking at you in disbelief.
" Well shit." JJ said taking his hat off and messing with his hair. " I thought out of everyone it would have been me to be the one to have a tutor." He said to me with a laugh after he said that which made the rest if us laugh.
" It shouldn't be too bad." You said looking over at Pope. " At least my tutor is good looking." You said with a wink. Pope looked at you with wide eyes. Before he could say anything the bell rang.
" See you later boy's, JJ I'll see you at the beach after school to catch some waves." You said to them as they all looked at you not saying anything after you just called Pope good looking like it was nothing.
You walked out to go to your next class as they still stood in class still not believing what just came out of your mouth.
" Did she just?" John B said pointing to where you just walked out of.
" I think so." JJ said as he looked over to Pope to see that he hasn't moved either.
" She just called me good looking and she meant it." Pope said still not knowing what to do with that new information that he just heard come out from your very own mouth.
" She's so into you dude!" JJ said as he put both of his hands on Pope with a smile on his face as they all walked out if class to go to their next one.
" Yeah dude JJ is right she likes you." John B said as he throws his book bag over one of his shoulders. Pope had a smile that he couldn't wipe off his face all through out the day, when school let out he went back to his house to help out his dad with some deliveries on the island before you text him saying that you would be over later for y'all to go over the test that would be this week to study on.
Pope couldn't wait to see you when you got here, to really have some one on one time with you here together.
While he was cleaning his room waiting on you to get here, you were a nervous wreck on the phone with Sarah and Kiara.
" What if it slips out that I like him like in did today in class." You said in the phone while you moved back and forth in your room getting everything in your tote bag.
" It wouldn't be a bad thing if you did Y/n." Kiara said back to you while Sarah agreed with her also.
" I'm with Kie on this one Y/n, Just go ahead and get it over with before it's too late." Sarah to you also.
" Ugh, I know!" You said as you held your phone with your ear and your shoulder as you still mover around your house.
" I just don't want things to change if he doesn't like me back." You cried in the phone like you were just in a big mess that you couldn't get out of.
" Y/n, your fine! He's going to like you back and you know that. Stop stressing!" Kiara said in the phone while JJ looked at here at her house knowing what was going with you.
Kiara and JJ have been dating for sometime now and him and Kiara knew you like the bad of both of their hands. You were like a sister they never had and would do anything for you.
" I know , I know." You said as you got your keys and made your way to your car to go to Pope's house to study for this stupid test that you had to do.
" Okay, I'm going over to his house now, I'll see y'all tomorrow at school." You said as you all said bye to each other.
You made it to Pope's house to see him already outside his house waiting for you. Once he sees you he get's up from where he was sitting and walks to your car yo help you with your bag that you had.
When you saw him outside waiting on you your heart nearly exploded knowing that he wasn't waiting fir you like this.
" Are you ready to get your study on?" Pope asked you as you both made your way up the stairs to his room that was apart from where his parents are at.
" I'm ready to get this whole year over with." You said nudging your elbow into the side of Pope as you go into his room that you have been in a million of times just this time It was really clean.
Once you both sat down next to each other at his desk you both got to work on your test that was at the end of this week. While Pope was trying to explain it you you kept on just looking at the way he would move his hands while he talked or when he would get really excited about one of the questions that he knew the answer of.
Just him being him made you just really happy inside, you just wanted to be close to hi as much as you could in this moment.
Pope asked you to write something down when you went to pick up the pen that you have been using Pope's hand was right next to it and you accidentally touched his hand. You both pulled away from the touch almost like you burn each other with just that one touch.
You definitely felt a spark in that moment and you knew he did too with the way he looked up at you from his paper.
The both of you didn't say a word just looking at each other getting lost in each other's eyes.
Before you knew it Pope was leaning in closer to you and you met him halfway, when your lips touched his he grabbed your face to pull you closer into him. His lips were so soft with just that one touch. You never wanted this kiss to end.
When Pope pulled away you both open your eyes and smiled at each other. " Woah." You said not taking your eyes off of him.
" That was."
" Perfect." You said before he could. Pope smiled at you, " How long have you liked me for?" Pope asked looking at you with your face still in his hands which you weren't complaining.
" Maybe Three years now?" You said with a shrug.
" Three years!!!!" Pope said in disbelief how did he not know that you liked him for three years now? Was he that blind?
" Yeah." You said with a laugh as you still were looking at him.
" So what do we do now?" He asked you. You have thought about this moment for so long now that couldn't believe that it was actually happening.
" I think this is the part that you ask me out now." You said laughing at him which he started to laugh with you.
" Well Y/n will you go out with me?" Pope asked you.
" Yes I will." You said to him as he brought you into another kiss.
