I was still on cloud nine from the news I just got. I decided to come home and make my baby a candle light dinner. Well let me not lie, I picked up a to go order from Fatima's favorite restaurant and a bottle of wine. I learned my lesson last time dinner didn't go so well because I picked up wine from the gas station. I got the top shelf tonight we were celebrating, baby Taylor in the making.
I had the table set nice, candles lit and some old Skool music playing in the background. Fatima should be home any minute now.
As soon as she hit the door I was there to take her bags.
Zac: Good evening my lady
Fatima: Zac what is all this, what you done did?
Zac: I just wanted to do something special for my lady and share the good news.
Fatima: Okay what's the good news
Zac: Dang can you sit down first and take in the beauty of my hard work

Zac: Had ya mans slaving over a hot stove all evening

Fatima: Oh could have fooled me this looks like carry out from my favorite restaurant
Zac: Okay but I picked it up and set the table. And we can't forgot top shelf wine.
Fatima: Okay I see you stepping up
Zac: You see I pay attention but I do got some good news I want to share with you. I wanted to tell you face to face
So I went to the hospital today and got the results
Zac pausing to keep Fatima waiting
Fatima: Can you come on and spit it out
Zac: Zachery Taylor is 99.9% not the father of Karens baby
Fatima: Babe that's fantastic, we no longer have to deal with your ex YES!! How did she take the news?
Zac: That's the thing she doesn't know yet, her mom was going to deliver the news.
Fatima: She's going to be pissed
Zac: That's no longer my problem I do not care but you do know what that means?
Fatima: What?
Zac: we can finally make some of our own babies, some little zac's and Fatima's running around here
Fatima: In due time we will have some babies running around here. I'm happy for you baby
Zac: Me too, I'm happy for us we have a fresh start with no attachments and no drama
Fatima: There is always some drama but I like the sound of a new start
Zac: Okay lets start now
Fatima: What about the food
Zac: Fuck the food come on , picking Fatima up and carrying her upstairs.
Karen's Denial
The last thing I remember was being at the shop checking inventory when I heard a loud bang. When I opened the door my shop was in flames.
Dizzy and still out of it I didn't realize I was in the hospital. I had so many machines hooked up to me.I grabbed my stomach to see if my baby was okay, I began to panic snatching all the tubes off of me.
Lisa: What are you doing, you need to stay in bed doctors orders
Karen: Why am I here, is the baby okay?
Lisa: The baby is fine for now but you need to rest. You almost didn't make it you don't need to take any chances
Karen: How long have I been out?
Lisa: Almost 3 days
Karen: And you're sure my baby is fine?
Lisa: Yes the girls, Aaron and Zac were up here when you first got here.
Karen: Has Zac been up here again has he asked about me and the baby?
Lisa: You don't need to worry about that right now
Karen: what do you mean mama yes I do he's my child's father
Lisa: He hasn't been back up here
Karen: So me and his baby are in the hospital and he hasn't came to check in on us. Where is my phone so I can call him now.
Lisa: I wouldn't do that
Karen: Why not mama he needs to know.
Lisa: Are you sure Zac is that father
Karen: Why does everyone keep asking me yes he's the father and he already knows that too.
Lisa: You just need to rest and get better so you can get out of here
Karen: I am fine I wish everyone would just stop telling me what to do I am grown
Lisa: Zac is not the father
Karen: And how would you know that?
Lisa: Well while you were out of it the doctor needed to get permission from the child's father in case anything happened to you. They got blood work from Zac and Aaron and they got results yesterday and Zac is not the father.
Karen: No No the results are wrong, I know Zac is the father. They need to do another test
Lisa: I know you want Zac to be the father but he's not and as soon as you accept it you can move on with your life and raise your baby.
Karen: Get out, Get out ( yelling)
Calling Zac's number but his phone kept going to voicemail. Shit why isn't he answering
Zac: Why in the hell is Karen blowing up my damn phone. I kept hitting ignore . She called so much I had to turn my phone off.
Karen: Zac please call me. Me and your baby is in the hospital and I don't want to do this alone.
Andi and Danni came up to the hospital to check on Karen
Lisa: She may be a little upset she's in denial
Danni: Denial about what?
Lisa: Zac is not the father
Danni: Shit, I knew it. Told ya'll but no one wants to believe Danni.
Andi: Danni now is not the time for I told you so
Danni: I'm just saying I knew her ass was lying she was playing any many miny moe with Zac and Preacher man.
Andi: Danni
Danni: What you know it's the truth, I'm just real enough to say it. Don't lie you were thinking it, you were at the appointment and was looking puzzled too.
Andi: I mean yes but don't be rubbing it in her face when you go in there.
Lisa: yes be gentle she's already worked up
Andi walking in the room
Andi: (sounding very upbeat) Hey, you had me worried
Danni looking at Andi being fake , shaking her head just fake but they want to call me fake.
Danni: Hey girl
Karen: Hi
Danni: All we get is a dry ass hi
Karen: Danni don't start I ain't in the mood
Danni: I mean I wouldn't be either with the news you just got
Andi: Danni go sit in a corner (pointing to the seat in the corner)
Danni: To the corner sit I go boss
Andi: So you and the baby are doing good I hear
Karen: Yep we're great
Andi: then why the long face?
Karen: Andi don't play like you don't know, I'm sure my mother already told you. How she went behind my back and found out who the father was.
Danni: Umm I don't think it works like that. It could have been life or death and they needed to know just in case decisions had to be made
Karen: That should have been my decision
Andi: Honey I don't think that would have been possible in the state you were in. And why is it such a bad thing that Aaron is the father.
Karen: Because I don't love him like I love Zac.
Andi: Karen sweetie don't you think you need to let Zac go. That man has moved on and at this point I'm starting to get worried for your mental state.
Karen: My mental is perfectly fine, how about ya'll focus on ya'll own relationship
Danni: Oh you should have kept that same energy when ya'll showed up at my house for an intervention. Where was minding your business then.
Karen: You know what I don't have time for this right now ya'll stressing me out please leave. Leave now!!
Danni: You ain't got to tell me twice bye Andi
Andi: Fine hope you come to your senses we're just trying to help just remember that
Karen: Whatever
Everyone just needed to leave me alone. 10 minutes later Aaron came walking in the room with flowers.
Karen: Ugh now you
Aaron: I was just bringing you flowers did I do something wrong?
Karen: You always popping up at the wrong time, I just want to be alone Aaron.
Aaron: I'm sorry I just wanted to be here for you and my baby.
Karen: I know you always want to be here, I'm getting another test done because that test is wrong.
Aaron: I'm sure it correct but do what ever you feel, I'm still going to be here.
Karen: Can you just leave I will call you later
Aaron: Sure
After Aaron left I kept calling Zac, I need to let him know
Fatima: Zac your phone keeps going on
Zac: I know it's Karen calling and texting from the hospital you can ignore it
Fatima: Are you sure
Zac: Yep we have nothing else to discuss.
I sat there and watched as she called back to back. So I decided to send her a text from Zac's phone.
"I'll be up there in a few so we can talk"
Karen's text: Thank you so much
Now that everything was out there it's time she run along before we really have a problem. There should be no reason she should be blowing up his phone like this. So I decided I'll pay her a little visit.
Fatima: Hey babe I'm going to step out for a second I'll be back in a few
Zac: Okay
Last Warning
Fatima: Hi I am here to see my sister Karen Mott
Nurse: Okay she is in room 214
Fatima: Okay thank you
Nurse: You're welcome lovely flowers
Knocking on the door
Karen: Come in
On the other side of the curtain
Karen: I am so glad you're here it's just been a stressful day
Sliding back the curtain looks like I wasn't the person she was expecting by the look on her face. She got all dolled up thinking Zac was coming. She even had a little cleavage showing.
So sad she didn't know when to quit.
Fatima: Oh I'm sorry you were expecting Zac, he said there wasn't anything else to discuss with you so I decided to come on his behalf. I even brought you some flowers. Glad you and the baby are doing well. You gave us a little scare there for a second.
Karen: What do you want Fatima
Fatima: Glad that you asked. Now that we know Zac is not the father there is no need for you to call/text nothing. And hopefully there will be no more pop ups. I've been nice and respectful thus far and was only sparing you because you are with child and Andi's friend. But I would hate to have to revert back to the old Fatima just to put you in your place. Just know I'm that bitch and I am not to be played with.

Karen: Yes
Fatima: Good now you can focus on your baby and your man. I'll tell Zac you're in good spirits and you wish him well.

Hope she took all of it in because I wasn't going to spare her ass anymore.
Fatima: Hey Babe I'm back
Zac: That was quick
Fatima: Yeah I just made a little stop
Zac: Karen finally stopped calling. She did send a text saying she was sorry, and wish nothing but the best for me
Fatima: Oh how sweet glad she came to her senses
Zac: Me too, let make a toast
Fatima: A toast to what?
