Stevie sat in a chair that was too big for her, in the police station, her eyes were red and puffy from crying too much.
She held a water bottle in her hand. It was half empty. Mark Kincaid knelt in front of Stevie.
"Hey Stevie," she looked up at him, "hi,"she mumbled ,messing around with the paper wrapped around the water bottle
"You okay?" Mark softly questioned,"why did God have to take my mommy away?" Stevie asked
"Well... maybe God needed your mommy," Mark replied ,"but why? Why did he need her so much that he had to her away from me?" For a two year old Stevie, words were better than most.
"I don't know, sweetie," Mark said, "Uncle mark...do you think mommy and daddy are together now?" Stevie questioned
"Yeah, I think they are," Mark replied ,"Can I join them?" She asked
"Not right now, sweetie, you'll see them soon,"Mark said ,"and you know what, you're mom was very brave and badass, I have no doubt that you'll be just like her," Mark added
"Are...are you going to catch the man who hurt Mommy?" Stevie questioned, and Mark nodded ,"Yeah, we are going to catch the man that hurt your mommy," Mark said

Sidney Prescott rushed inside the police station, seeing dewey . He looked tired and clearly upset.
"Dewey," she called out his name, and he lifted his head and looked at her , a small smile appearing on his face ,"Hey sid,"
The two of them hugged, "Where's Gale? And Stevie?" Sidney asked after pulling away from dewey
"Stevie is with Mark and Gale....she's trying to find out who did this," dewey told her , and Sidney nodded before they both walked further into the station
"Stevie," Sidney called out, and Stevie turned her head , "Oh, honey,"
"Aunt sid?" Sidney nodded, kneeling down in front of her ,"I am so sorry, honey ," Sidney said
Stevie shrugged, and Sidney reached out and moved some stray hairs from her face ,"we are going to find who did this," Sidney told her, and Stevie nodded
"You must be Sidney Prescott," Sidney looked over and saw mark, she stood up ,"Yeah, I am,"
"I'm Mark Kincaid, zeppelins partner," Mark said,a sad look washing over him ,"former partner," he corrected
"I'm sorry," Sidney said, "me too," Mark gave her a small smile
"Uncle dewey..I'm hungry," Stevie spoke up, "well, let's get you something to eat," dewey said
"Can you get me a ham grill cheese?" Stevie asked , and Dewey nodded ,"I'll get you one,"
Sidney turned to Mark ,"What do we have?" She asked
"Nothing so far," Mark replied with a shake of his head
"Actually, wait...um zeppelin she had a list of suspect and Roman Bridger was on top of the list," he said
"She told me to keep an eye on him because something seemed off, and guess what," Mark added
"What?" Sidney asked ,"today is his birthday, and he's having a party. He invited all the targets ," Mark told her
"Well, let's go check it out," Sidney said, and Mark nodded
"We'll be back dewey," Sidney said, and Dewey nodded from where he was sitting next to Stevie, who was eating her ham grill cheese sandwich
Soon, the two of them exited the police station, unaware of the events that will soon follow.
