[tw: violence]
war

Lo'ak' gaze shifted from his father in the open sea and the door, where Leyra was behind, the whole time and he prayed for Eywa that she would help them. She had to help them. She needed to.

Underneath the surface of the water Payakan was swimming near the big demon ship. His eyes narrowed when he saw his spirit brother tied to the railing and he had sworn to himself that he would protect Lo'ak from everything since the day he had seen him.

So he did.

Large waves were created in the ocean, but no one really noticed it beside Lo'ak as he watched the waves coming closer to him and the ship. Lo'ak narrowed his eyes as he didn't knew if it was a good or a bad sign, but he was surprised when he saw his friend under the shimmering surface.

Swimming in a fast pace to the demon ship, gaining speed, Payakan jumped into the air and dropped himself on to the ship, squeezing some sky people in the meantime and causing the ship to shake. The sky people and the avatars fell to the ground, but quickly were on their feet again as they aimed their guns at the tulkun. Payakan was almost as large as the demon ship and his large fins slapped the human's away easily, letting them drown in the water afterwards.

„Open fire! Open fire!" One of the guards in a metal combat suit yelled before he started firing at Payakan.

The guards let their bullets fly against the skin from Payakan and they weren't near of shooting him as his grey skin was way too thick. The bullets rebounded because of the skin's hard surface and unluckily for the humans, hit them instead.

The Na'vi on board shielded themselves with their arms so they were at least a little protected from the flying bullets and Lo'ak pulled Tuk closer to himself so his body could shield his little sister. Lo'ak was thankful for Payakan's help, so with that the sky people were focused on getting rid of the creature instead of shooting his father.

„Brother!" Lo'ak exclaimed to Payakan while he kicked a human that was in front of him, so the person was falling to the ground before Payakan crashed his fin down on him, killing the sky person in an instant. He continued throwing his fins all over the place, hitting the sky people or causing them to crash together. The whole deck was a big mess, everywhere laid sky people, dead or barely alive and broken pieces of their mechanical fighting suits.

Witnessing the tulkun's attack the ocean Na'vi warriors let out a cry and held their spears high into the sky while they moved forward to the demon ship. Jake at the front released an angry cry and held his gun firmly in one hand and rushed forward, determined to save the children.

A Matador, which was a smaller ship and had a few human on it, was out in the ocean. They prepared their weapon as they came closer to Payakan, who was still on the deck and killed the sky people who were shooting at him. One human took his chance and fired a missile to Payakan's open mouth, but before it could properly reach him he had closed his mouth. It bounced of his head and it landed back into the ship.

He dived back into the water with a roar, where he came across the Metkayina Na'vi, who were dodging bullets, which where coming from helicopters and ships. He closed is eyes for a second, indicating that he is on their side and swam away, getting ready to attack again.

Meanwhile Leyra tried to find a way out of the demon ship but it was like a fucking labyrinth. She held the gun firmly with both of her hands, the right index finger on the trigger, ready to shoot if someone was in her way. She had stolen a dagger and a few small knives from one of her last targets and attached them to her thigh, where usually her own dagger was, but it was taken by the guards when they had captured her. Leyra felt a little guilty for leaving the human boy alone back in the room, because he's literally her brother but she didn't knew him, so it didn't matter for her.

She moved slowly and carefully sideways with her back against the wall, so she could see it coming if someone was going to attack from behind. Her ears peaked up when she heard the sound of footsteps going in her direction. She stopped in her tracks and grabbed a little knife from her thigh and waited. Using the gun would be too loud and honestly who would do it in that moment was dumb. Leyra didn't wanted to get caught.

A soon as she saw a black combat boot rounding the corner she threw the knife and it landed directly between the eyes of the human. He dropped his gun and fell backwards after a few seconds. „Hey! Freddie?" Someone yelled behind the corner in a shocking voice and moved to the dead person on the floor, noticing the knife. But before Leyra could ran the soldier had seen her and aimed his gun at her while he called the other guards to him.

Screw it, Leyra thought and fired her gun while walking backwards to hide behind the corner. She hissed when she felt a pain in her upper arm. Glancing down she saw how blood poured out of the wound, caused by the bullet, but luckily it was just a grazing shot. She stopped shooting and waited until the soldiers had to reload their weapons. When the time had come she started running towards a door while she started shooting at the soldiers again, without turning to them. She didn't cared if she had hit them with the bullets or not, she kept running until she reached the door and was behind it.

She catched her breath and noticed that she was outside on a higher deck, but on a part of the deck, she wasn't on before. She ran to the rail as she heard another set of guards coming her way and quickly jumped into the water, before any bullet could hit her again. Underneath the water she saw Payakan swim towards a smaller ship and she made a sound in the back of her throat to catch his attention.

Payakan turned to her as he could recognize her call. „Leyra! I'm glad you're fine." Payakan vocalized while Leyra swam toward him and sat on his fin, slightly exhausted, as her gunshot wound burned from the the salty seawater. She asked signing if he was the one to make the demon ship to wobble and he said yes.

„See that ship above us?" Payakan sounded and Leyra nodded, looking up where she indeed could see a white ship. „They are the tulkun hunters. They try to hunt me right now." Leyras eyes widened a little before her mood changed. Her spirit sisters murderes are above her and she was yearning to get revenge.

She silently looked at Payakan and she knew they would get revenge together. Leyra held firmly on to his fin as he swam fast to gain speed before they jumped out of the water, high in the air. Leyra released his fin and jumped on to the boat. At least ten men where staring at her, slightly scared and a few of them were raising their guns at her, but her face expression made them to didn't dare to move.

„I assume you are tulkun hunter." She said dangerously slow in English with an accent, while her hand moved down to grab a few small knives. „Because you are hunting down my friend in the middle of war."

„Kill her already, god dammit." One of the men screamed, who was standing in the middle and Leyra assumed he was the main cause for the killing of the tulkun. But before any of them could shoot her she had thrown knives at every human who had their guns aimed at her. They let their guns fall and held their aching wound where the knives were stuck in their skin.

Leyra chuckled. „How pathetic you are. So tiny and weak." The people on the boat couldn't go anywhere, if they would jump into the water they would be immediately killed by Payakan, who was waiting down there. „Oh this is going to be so much fun." Leyra had a devilish smirk on her face as she launched forward and quickly grabbed a men, pushing him into the sea.

„Let's dance." Leyra laughed and went for another men.

She threw a punch at one of the guards that came for her and send him flying into another one. She grabbed her dagger and moved forward to another man and sliced his throat. She threw him to the ground and took a gun from the ground, that was dropped seconds ago. She started shooting incessantly and the human blood drenched the ground and her body, only stopping when the bullets had stopped coming out of the gun. She didn't knew how to change the ammunition so she threw the gun away and continued with her dagger. Slicing their throats and stabbing them multiple times, just like the number of tulkun they've killed.

Avatars on the ship ran to their ikran, mounting them and flew above to participate in the fight from the sky. „Sully's inbound. I want eyes on him!" Quaritch yelled after he came running out of the inside of the ship and quickly got on his ikran, getting ready to hunt down Jake Sully.

Neytiri flew high on her ikran and noticing the helicopter firing bullets, she flew closer to it. She pulled her bow back and fired her arrow straight into the chest of a human, who was sitting at the front, controlling the helicopter. The machine got out of control and crashed on to some rocks that were rising out of the ocean and bursted into the flames.

The sky people and the Metkayina clan fought against each other. The human's used guns and other metal weapons. Na'vi like the traditional way, as they were stabbing the sky people with their spears or fought with bow and arrow like Neytiri. Jake fired with his gun at the people on the smaller ships, while continuing to come closer to the SeaDragon.

Quaritch watched as Sully's wife was eliminating yet another helicopter that was about to take off and chased after her when she flew higher. Neytiri dodged the bullets that came out of his gun with cries. Jake who was a little above the water recognized her cries and looked up, seeing his wife fleeing from Quaritch. He shot up and fired all his bullets at Quaritch, who was now avoiding the bullets too and lost Neytiri. When Jake ran out of bullets he quickly dived into the water on his skimwing and swam quickly, dodging Quaritch' bullets.

The SeaDragon lunched forward in a rapid motion and the propellers started rotating, sending everyone on the ship to the ground as they lost their balance. Thanks to Spider who took ownership of the ship for a second and then crashed the control device. He was immediately escorted to somewhere in the ship by a few guards. The ship crashed into a rock but was in the water again after passing over the rocks roughly. This caused the young Na'vi to grab the railing tight as they flew into the air and crashed back to the ground. They groaned at the hard impact and Lo'ak turned to the girls. „You okay?"

Tuk winced as she had hurt her head a little but nodded nonetheless and Tsireya answered with a quiet ‚Yes'. All three of them pulled at their restraints from the rail, but it didn't moved an inch. Lo'ak sighed in defeat. He couldn't save anyone, he thought.

Leyra was drenched in blood when only one men was left. And he dared to escape on a small orange emergency boat. Leyra grabbed his shoulders and yanked him back on the boat and threw him to the ground. She towered over him as she looked down at him.

„Please..." He whispered begging as he looked at her in horror. It was like the devil herself was standing in front of him. He slowly crawled backwards while her eyes stayed on her. „Please, spare my life." He begged while he cried like a little child.

Pathetic." she scowled and held the dagger in her hand firmly. „You deserve to die." She hovered above him and then she put the dagger in between his eyes with force. She watched as the life left his eyes and then stood up, stroking her hair out of her face gracefully.

Suddenly a ilu sprang out of the water and a familiar face was staring at the three Na'vi on the SeaDragon.

„Neteyam!" Tuk yelled happily as she recognized her older brother, while he quickly ran toward them, slightly crouched, so the sky people wouldn't noticed him right away.

„Hello baby brother." He teased as he cut through Tsireya's and Tuk's restrains. „Need some help?" he glanced at Lo'ak briefly before he turned back to his little sister, checking her for wounds. „Are you hurt, Tuk?" He asked gently.

„My head hurts a little." she whined and gave her big brother a quick hug.

„She fell on her head." Tsireya explained briefly while putingt her arms around Tuk protectively.

„Go that way, and get Tuk out of here!" He ordered to Tsireya and pointed to the direction he came from. Tsireya grabbed the little girls hand and quickly dragged her to the ocean, jumping in with her.

„Bro! Hurry up!" Lo'ak complained while rolling his eyes as Neteyam still looked after them. Then he turned to his younger brother and freed him with a smirk.

„Who is the mighty warrior. Come on, say it." he grinned playfully and Lo'ak only shook his head annoyed, but a smile appeared on his face. „Let's go." Neteyam said while putting a hand on Lo'ak's head and then pulling him up to his feet.

Neteyam moved to the sea but noticed Lo'ak wasn't following him. „Lo'ak!" he hissed as he looked at him confused, because Lo'ak grabbed a gun from one of the dead human. He checked if it has ammunition and then held the gun firmly.

„What are you doing?" Neteyam asked though his teeth as he approached his brother.

„They have her, Teyam." He responded while concern spread on his face. He hoped it wasn't too late. „They have Leyra." He repeated frustrated.

„Shit!" Neteyam cursed and runs though his hair with his hand.

„And they have Spider too. We gotta go get them!"

Neteyam clenched his jaw and then nodded. „But we do it my way or you and your impulsivity will get us killed."

And with that they ran to the door to save their mate and their friend.

Leyra, still on the white boat, looked to the SeaDragon and saw Neteyam and Lo'ak going into the ship. She frowned, they were going to rescue the human boy and probably her as they thought she was still in there, so she jumped into the water and headed back to the large ship.
