August 7th 2013- 20 weeks
"Which one do you want?" Logan held up 2 cups for Lena
"Green!"
Logan filled the cup with water and set it down in front of Lena
"Where's mama?" Lena asked
"She's at work"
"Why?"
"Because she had a meeting today"
"Why?"
"I don't know, munchkin"
"You're munchkin" Lena giggled
"No you" Logan chuckled
"Logan?" Rory called out when she got home a few hours later
"Mama!" Lena came running towards her and hugged her legs
"Hi baby" Rory picked her up and hugged her "where's daddy?"
"Up"
"Ok" Rory put Lena down and walked upstairs. Lena ran ahead of her and into her room "Logan?"
"Bedroom, Ace"
"Hi" Rory said when she walked into the room where Logan was during on the bed with his laptop
"What's wrong?" Logan asked, noticing she looked tired
"Remind me why I voluntarily chose to be pregnant again" Rory said as she flopped backwards onto the bed
"Do you actually want me too, or-?" He put his laptop on the bedside table
"No" Rory rolled into her side to look at Logan
"What happened?" He put his hand on her shoulder
"Nothing" Rory sighed "It's just really hard to get things done when your back hurts and you can't get comfortable and you have to pee every 20 minutes"
"Come here" Logan held his arms out
Rory moved closer to Logan and he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her head "I'm sorry you're so uncomfortable"
"It's not your fault"
"It kind of is"
"No, Logan, we made a decision together and I knew what I was getting myself into"
"I love you. You know that?"
"I had a feeling" Rory joked "I love you too" she kissed him

August 10th 2013
"Are you sure you don't mind watching her?" Rory asked
"I'm here for the weekend anyway. There's no reason for you to get a babysitter" Lorelai said
"Ok, thank you" Rory said "we should be back around 2"
"With pictures?" Lorelai asked, hopefully
"Always"
"And news?"
"I already told you that we're not telling anyone"
"But why? I wanna stop calling it 'it'"
"You could always call it chicken nugget" Rory suggested
"No, because I think it's weird that you guys are calling your baby chicken nugget"
"Weirder than Logan calling Lena 'munchkin'?"
"Yes"
"Or you calling me 'loin fruit' ?"
"Whatever"
"Ace, you ready to go?" Logan asked, walking into the living room where Rory and Lorelai were sitting, holding Lena
"Yup"
"Hey Lena" Lorelai said as Logan put Lena down "I have an idea"
"What?" Lena asked
"Do you want to go get ice cream?"
"Yeah!" Lena said, excitedly
"Just remember-" Rory started to say
"I know. I know" Lorelai interrupted her "No peanuts. No dairy. Make sure I ask about cross contamination, and bring the epi-pen just in case"
"Thank you" Rory said "alright, we gotta go. Bye baby" she kissed Lena's cheek
"Bye bye" Lena waved
"So, what are you having?" Lorelai asked when Rory and Logan got back from Rory's doctor's appointment
"Not telling, but here" Rory handed Lorelai a sonogram picture
"Ooh, thank you!" Lorelai said "you know, I still have all the ones you gave me of Lena?"
"Do you really?" Logan asked
"In a box in that closet by the front door"
"That's so sweet" Rory smiled and sat down next to Lorelai on the couch
"So, Lena's napping, but just so you know, she's wearing 3 pairs of underwear"
"Um...why?" Logan asked
"we spilled some water and she got soaked so I changed her but she couldn't pick and insisted on wearing all 3"
"Oh, she is so my daughter" Rory laughed
"I see many pro/con lists in her future" Lorelai joked
"Logan, what are you looking for?" Rory asked when she noticed Logan looking around the room
"My phone..."
"you had it plugged in when we were in the car" Rory reminded him "did you leave it there?"
"I...think so" Logan said And started to walk towards the garage
"Every time" Rory chuckled
"So, what are you having?"
"Mom, come on"
"I'm serious"
"I'm having....a chicken nugget" Rory teased
"That's mean" Lorelai pouted
"You can wait a few more weeks"
"20 is not a few"
"Don't I know it" Rory sighed

"No" Rory groaned the next morning when someone knocked on the door "It's so early"
"Just ignore it. Whoever it is will go away" Logan pulled her close and kissed her forehead
"Or they'll wake Lena"
"I'm going" Logan sighed. He got out of bed and walked downstairs to open the door. "What are you doing here?" Logan whispered
"Good morning"
"Dad, it's 6:30 on a Sunday morning"
"So what?" Mitchum shrugged
"So, we were asleep"
"You were still asleep?" Mitchum asked, disapprovingly
"Just...come in. But keep your voice down, Lena's sleeping"
"You're not working today?"
"On Sunday?"
"I always worked on Sunday"
"Well, I'm not exactly trying to be like you" Logan mumbled
"What was that?"
"Nothing. Why are you here, dad?"
"I want to talk to you about coming back to the company"
"Yeah, that's not happening"
"Logan, listen. I know that-"
"Daddy" Lena came into the kitchen where they were standing, interrupting Mitchum
"What's wrong?" Logan crouched down in front of Lena
"Too loud" Lena whispered
"I'm sorry, munchkin" Logan picked her up and hugged her "I'm gonna go put my kid back to sleep. You'll see yourself out?"
"Fine. But, you can expect to hear from me about this soon"
"Goodbye dad"
Mitchum left and Logan locked the door before he brought Lena upstairs into his and Rory's room.
"Shh" Lena put her finger over her mouth "mama's sleeping" she whispered
"That's right" Logan whispered. He put Lena in the bed, next to Rory and then got back into bed
"Who was at the door?" Rory mumbled
"I'll tell you about it later" Logan said, quietly "go back to sleep"
