"You all have to stop doing that..." (Y/N) mumbled as she narrowed her eyes. "You will get yourselves killed one day..." She said which caused the blonde to smile in amusement.
"Hahah! Did I startle you? Pardonne moi." Rook said as he laughed a bit. "I'm simply too accustomed to concealing my presence as I make my approach. I am Rook Hunt, le Chasseur d'Amour. My life's work is to seek out beauty and support it." He said as he gently took a hold of the raven haired female's hand before placing a kiss on it. "Pleased to make your acquaintance."
"Y...yea.." (Y/N) stuttered out a bit as she continued to stare at the blonde.

"Caw! Don't touch Tomioka sama you overgrown mushroom!" Kanzaburou said as he glared at the blonde who simply smirked before letting go of the female's hand.
"Tch. Speak of the weirdo and he shall appear." Leona scoffed as he glared at the male.
"Good day, Roi des Lions." Rook said as he smiled at Leona. "But what is this? Monsieur Dent-de-Lion does not appear to be accompanying you for your lunch break."
"He has a weird way of talking..." (Y/N) mumbled as Kanzaburou nodded in agreement.
"He's not with me twenty four seven. Now get lost, and take these herbivores with you." Leona said.
"Who's Monsieur, uhhh...Dandelion?" Deuce questioned.
"Heheh. That would of course refer to the Roi des Lions' confidante, Ruggie." Rook said as he now chuckled a bit.
"Why do you call him that? Is it cause he's got a poofy head of yellow hair?" Grim said.
"Non, non. It's for another reason. It happened last spring..." Rook said as he smiled at them now reminiscing his encounter with said male. "Just as the first beautiful signs of the season began blooming around campus."

"Great, there's plenty of them here. Now to pick them before they turn into seedheads." Ruggie said as he picked some dandelions.
"Bonjour, Monsieur!" Rook said as he popped out of nowhere now startling the male.
"Whoa! What do you want, buddy?!" Ruggie exclaimed as he took a step back away from the blonde.
"I beg your pardon for the interruption. I am Rook Hunt, of Pomefiore." Rook said as he introduced himself. "You were doing something fascinating, and I just had to drop by."
"I'm literally just picking dandelions, but ok." Ruggie said as he deadpanned.
"To what end are you gathering so many?" Rook questioned.
"Isn't it obvious? I'm gonna eat them." Ruggie said as if pointing out the obvious.
"What?!" Rook exclaimed as he stared at the male in shock.
"You can make them into salads, saute them, use them for tea..." Ruggie said as he gave him a small shrug. "And more to the point, you can find them anywhere and pick them for free!" He happily exclaimed. "They're perfect for a broke joke like me. Not that you probably have any idea what it's like to be penniless. My food budget's tight this month, so I've gotta subsist on something. On that note, no time for chitchat. Free to move on and get out of my hair now." Ruggie said before soon taking his leave.

"And there you have it. I was struck by his willingness to sustain himself on roadside weeds, and I've respected him more ever since. Thus, I call him Monsieur Dent-de-Lion." Rook happily said all while (Y/N) stared at him in shock.

The blonde said as he stared at Ace before looking over at Deuce. "Deuce Spade, #24 in Class 1-A, human, 173 centimeters tall..." He happily said before looking at the raven haired female with a bright smile. "And here we have Ramshackle Dorm members (Y/N) Tomioka, human, 167 centimeters tall..." Rook smiled before petting Kanzaburou. "Kanzaburou, crow but human at times, 181 centimeters tall."
"Caw! Don't touch me, you're unworthy!" Kanzaburou huffed before soon perching himself on (Y/N)'s head.
"Of course, Roi de la Nuit. "Rook said as he simply smiled at Kanzaburou's words before looking over at Grim. "And Grim, monster, 70 centimeters tall."
"How did...he get my height?"

"What the hell did he even call me..."
"H...how do you know our class and student numbers?!" Deuce exclaimed as he stared at the blonde in shock.
"Caw! Since when we're stalkers so fancy and shiny looking?" Kanzaburou said as he eyed Rook up and down.
"For that matter, how do you know our exact heights down to the flipping centimeter?!" Ace exclaimed.
"That's...creepy..." (Y/N) mumbled.
"Heheh. As a hunter, I make it a point to memorize the species and height of every student on campus. It wouldn't do to be underprepared, would it?" Rook said as he let out a small laugh.
"I um...underprepared for what exactly?" (Y/N) said as she stared at the blonde in confusion.
"Since you have informed me of your intent, you will not need to fill out any paperwork. The audition will be held in the Pomefiore ballroom after school, three days hence. Do be sure to save the date." Rook informed them.
"But...I didn't say anything..."
"Yes sir!" They all said in unison all while (Y/N) simply gave him a small nod.
"Hey, are you guys done crowding around my seat yet? Get out of my hair already." Leona said.
"Caw! Shut it you Overgrown House Cat!" Kanzaburou said which cause Leona to glare at him.
"Say, Leona! How would you like to put in an appearance at the SDC auditions? You have ample athletic ability, and your physique would add extra flair to your dancing. Not to mention your wonderful, resounding voice. I've never seen a lion sing in the Sunset Savanna, but I've no doubt it would be an incredible sight to behold." Rook said as he smiled at the male.
"I wouldn't be caught dead in that kids' show. Besides, isn't that nag Vil gonna be there? You can count me a hundred and ten percent out." Leona said as he crossed his arms over his chest.
"But picture this. Vil with his cosmopolitan appeal and Leona with his rugged charisma..." Rook said as he smiled at the thought. "If you two danced and sang together, it would be a feast for the senses! Would be a battle of flavors most disparate! Ahhh, how very trés bien!"

"Now now." Rook smiled before soon turning his attention to the raven haired female before soon pulling her into his arms.

"And you, Belle Épéiste." Rook said as he smiled at the confused female in his arms. "I've longed for such a moment as this! How it's true, such striking blue eyes are quite endearing even up close. Magnifique, how they capture your beauty indeed!" Rook sighed as (Y/N) simply remained silent as she stared at him. "Beauté how I can't wait to see your performance. The idea of seeing ma Belle Épéiste on stage just excites me!"

"Myaaah! There's a ton of competition here!" Grim exclaimed as he looked over at the other students.
"There's gotta be like fifty people." Ace said.
"O...oh no, I'm tensing up already. I...I th...think I'm b...blanking out on the song lyrics!" Deuce panicked as (Y/N) gently pat his head.
"You'll do great, don't worry." The raven haired female said which caused Deuce to blush a bit as he gave her a small smile.
"Caw! You'll be alright!" Kanzaburou said.
"You'll be fine if you just chill." Ace said as he stared at Deuce and (Y/N) before glaring at the blue haired male.
"Ooh, what's this? ADeuce and the Ramshackle trio? You guys are here for the SDC auditions too, huh?" Cater said as he approached the group before hugging the female. "There's my favorite little prefect!"
"Hello senpai." (Y/N) greeted making Cater smile.
"Hey, Cater! Yea, how about you?" Grim said.
"Got it in one. The event's happening at our school, and I hear Vil's gonna be in it this year. What could be cooler than competing on stage against a mega celeb with five million Magicam followers?" Cater grinned.
"Deuce took it way too seriously, but you're being way too shallow about it..." Ace said.
"Pfft. I'm pretty sure most people here are like me, actually. Check out Exhibit A over there." Cater said as he gestured over towards Ruggie.
"Hmhm hmmm, hmhmm! Hmm." Ruggie smiled as he hummed to himself. "I'm not much of a singer, but I'm sure I can make up for that with my dance moves. I'm taking my share of that fifty thousand thaumark prize!"
"Myah! Of course he wants the money." Grim said which cause the female to pinch him.

"Ah, hello, Cater. Nice to see you again (Y/N)." Lilia greeted as he appeared before them popping out of nowhere. "Fancy seeing you here."
"Whoa!" They all exclaimed all while (Y/N) stared at the male in silence.
"At least I've grown used to him appearing out of nowhere...I don't want to add almost decapitating Lilia senpai again to my list..."
"Hello Lilia senpai. Good to see you as well." The female greeted which caused the male to smile in return.
"Khee hee hee! A perfect reaction. Heartslabyul students are always so full of vim and vigor." Lilia laughed at the Heartslabyul males before turning his attention back to (Y/N) seems like you've gotten used to this. How amusing." He said all while (Y/N) gave him a small nod.
"Come on, Lils, you're gonna give me a heart attack one of these days!" Cater said as he alley out a small sigh.
"So this is the guy who brought us that card?" Grim said as he stared at Lilia up and down.
"Caw! The Microscopic Leech!" Kanzaburou said which cause Lilia to chuckle in response not really minding the name.

"Indeed I am." Lilia said as he smiled at Grim. "Lilia Vanrouge, surprise delivery boy, at your service." He introduced.
"Hm, so you're the unknown sender, right?" Grim said as he looked at Lilia.
"Ah, but you'll find that the initials on the card differ from my own. Khee hee hee... You'll find out who sent it soon enough." Lilia said as he let out a small laugh.

"So, Lils. Are you auditioning for SDC too?" Cater asked.
"Mhm. I belong to the Pop Music Club, so I would be remiss to sit out on a musical presentation." Lilia said as he gave the orange haired male a small nod. "I invited Malleus to join me, but he declined, claiming he had no desire to be put on display for humans. He's a surprisingly shy boy, you know." Lilia said as he looked over at Kanzaburou who was perched on (Y/N)'s head.
"I'm...not sure your definition of shy is the same as mine..." Cater said as he sweat dropped. "Gotta give you props for bravery, though. It takes guts to prod a bigwig like Malleus into doing an audition."
"Events like these are part of campus life. I thought it would do him some good to give it a whirl, but so it goes." Lilia said as he smiled at them. "And yourself? I'm surprised you didn't invite your partner, Trey."
"Oh, I did. But alas, I got jilted! Riddle's the chairman of the Culture Fair Management Committee, and Trey's busy assisting him." Cater said.
"He's tone death sadly..."
"Ah, of course." Lilia said.
"So! How's about we take an audition selfie as jilted buddies?" Cater said as he smiled at the male.
"Certainly. Come, freshmen. Join us." Lilia said as he gently pulled at (Y/N)'s hand.
"Alright senpai." (Y/N) said as she nodded in agreement.
"Uh, you want us in the picture?" Deuce asked.
"Nobody rejected us, you know." Grim said.
"Well they prefer Tomioka sama."

"You shouldn't judge anyone without getting to know them." (Y/N) said which cause Lilia to smile upon hearing her words.
"Caw! Yea, what Tomioka sama said." Kanzaburou happily agreed.
"Now that you mention it, it's true. Dorm leader Rosehearts is terrify...uh, a real stickler for the rules. But that makes me wonder when the Dark Mirror talks about the nature of our souls being suited to a certain dorm, what's the deal there?" Deuce said.
"Khee hee hee... A true learning experience is living among people who think differently than you do." Lilia said as he let out a small laugh. "Let me provide an example. Ignihyde has a reputation for being home to introverts who mislike having any sort of attention called to themselves. Yet one of their students is auditioning today." Lilia said as he then gestures towards Ortho which caused (Y/N) to smile.
"Ooh! That's Idia's baby bro. It's not every day he flies solo." Cater said.
"Caw! I remember he's the kid who kidnapped Tomioka sama last time." Kanzaburou said which caused (Y/N) to sweat dropped.
"Kanzaburou, I don't think it's kidnapping if you go willingly..." (Y/N) said.
"Caw! Alright, but at least you enjoyed yourself with the new company! I'm proud of you." Kanzaburou happily said which caused (Y/N) to smile.
"Whoa. Cater, you're not kidding about the baby part. Dude looks like a grade schooler. And that getup! It's like he's some kinda superhero." Ace said.
"Oh, I guess you freshies wouldn't know that story. Idia Shroud, the dorm leader of Ignihyde, brought his brother Ortho with him when he enrolled." Cater explained.
"What?!" Ace and Deuce exclaimed as they stared at Cater in shock.
"Hm, I didn't know you could do that." (Y/N) said.
"I don't think Idia senpai mentioned the reason for it..."
"I didn't share any classes with Idia until I started my junior year, so I'm not totally up on all the deets, but..." Cater said as he looked over at Ortho. "He brings his brother to most of his classes. The teachers never even bat an eye at it."
"That's cute." (Y/N) said as Kanzaburou nodded in agreement.
"I know brothers can be close, but taking a brother with you to school is nuts!" Deuce said.
"This Idia guy's got a few screws loose if you ask me." Grim said as he then earned a glare from the raven haired female.
"Don't speak rudely about Idia senpai." (Y/N) said as she crossed her arms over her chest.
"Don't talk that way about my brother!" Ortho angrily said as he glared at Grim.
"Whoa!" Grim said.
"Does everybody in this school have super hearing? This lounge's buzzing with people, and we were over ten meters apart." Ace said as Deuce shrugged.
"The directional mic my brother installed in me can pick up human whispering fifty meters away." Ortho said.
"Oho! Impressive. Not even the fae and beastmen have many capable of that." Lilia said as Ortho happily nodded.
"Heheh! I know, right? My brother's amazing!" Ortho praised. "..Ahem. Anyway, Idia got permission from the Headmage to let me come with him to class. He's not desperately lonely or anything, ok?" Ortho said before soon hugging the raven haired female. "So nice to see you again nee-san! Hi Kanzaburou!"
"Caw! Nice to see you too kid." Kanzaburou said.
(Y/N) smiled as she gave the young boy a headpat, still amazed that his hair didn't burn her. "It's nice to see you too." She said before returning the gesture.
"O...oh, gotcha. Sorry about that. My bad!" Cater said as he watched (Y/N) and Ortho. "You Shroud bros are this mysterious, almost legendary presence on campus. Guess I got a little carried away talking about you."
"Apology accepted. And I'm sorry for getting all huffy about it. I just don't want anyone getting the wrong idea about Idia." Ortho said as he let go of the female before taking a hold of her hand.
"Would Idia senpai mind if I kidnapped Ortho?"
"Caw! Don't worry kid, they're sorry." Kanzaburou said happily before eying Grim.
"They all better be..." He said which caused Grim to immediately nod.

"I told Riddle at the dorm leader meeting that I'd practice presenting my research..." Idia said before letting out a sigh. "But it doesn't matter how many thousands of simulations I run in my head. Presenting stuff to an audience? That's unplayable difficulty! I still don't wanna get yearghed at by Riddle, though..." He said as he thought about the redhead male before glancing over at the female who simply played with the ends of his hair all while her crow slept peacefully on her lap. "So with that in mind, I built a sound library for my own voice."
"Sound library? That sounds pretty impressive." (Y/N) said which caused Idia to grin at her.
"Oh you have no idea! And I've finally finished a program that reads out text smoothly in real time as you type! I never knew I could sound so articulate. It's a level of fluency you'd never expect from synthesized speech! What do you think, Ortho? Is it sick or is it sick?" Idia said as he looked at the young boy. "Nobody would ever guess the voice you're hearing is coming from text to speech software, right?"
"That's incredible, Idia! Your voice is so crisp and clear!" Ortho praised.
"Right? Man, I never knew I could sound so smooth! With this, I should be able to handle Q&A no prob. Whee hee hee! Science always beats brute force grinding! Yea, I'm a genius, I know." Idia grinned.
"Good job senpai." The raven female congratulated which caused the elder male to blush.
"T...thanks (Y/N)..." Idia said.
Ortho nodded upon hearing Idia's words. "I'm sure Riddle Rosehearts will be very impressed."
"U...uh, don't tell him, ok? I want to keep this a secret from Riddle until the presentation's over." Idia said as he looked between (Y/N) and Ortho. "He's gonna give me that smug, know it all look and be all like, See? That wasn't so hard, was it? And I'm gonna go, Wow, you didn't even notice I was lip synching? Talk about amateur hour! I'm gonna wipe that smug look right off of his face. Whee hee hee!" Idia laughed.
"Now, come on, Idia...it's not nice to pick on underclassmen." Ortho said.
"That's not very nice senpai." (Y/N) said as she frowned at the male which caused him to slightly panic.
"Oh, it..it's cool." He tried to defend himself as he nervously looked at the raven haired female. "Really. He's a grade beneath me in school, but he's been dorm leader longer than I have, so he's close enough to an upperclassman." Idia explained to which (Y/N) gave a small nod. "I have to say, though after doing a deep dive into text-to-speech, it's a fascinating field. Virtual idols and stuff are popular nowadays. I was thinking of maybe installing a vocal synthesizer in you." Idia said as he looked back at Ortho.
"Ooh, that sounds like fun! I'd love to try singing." Ortho said as he smiled at the female. "I can help you practice to nee-san!" The young boy said as (Y/N) nodded in agreement.

"That's pretty legit, actually!" Cater said as he smiled at Ortho. "Programming voice synthesis software and posting songs you make with it has taken off big time. I'm a fan of electropop stuff, myself." He grinned.
"I got no idea what any of you are talking about." Grim said.
"Really, Grimmy? You've never seen a virtual idol before? Here, lemme show you a clip. Let's see...ah, hold up. Gotta sit through a commercial without skipping to watch this for free." Cater said before a commercial soon played.

Ah, that Neige fellow in the commercial...he came up at a recent dorm leader meeting. He's going to be appearing at this year's SDC, you know." Lilia said.

"They're...shiny.." (Y/N) said as she squinted her eyes before covering Kanzaburou's eyes.

Epel however stay silent as he looked over at the students before his eyes met with a familiar female who simply gave him a small smile.
"I find it difficult to believe that anyone on this campus would be ignorant of who I am, but courtesy dictates an introduction all the same. I am Vil Schoenheit, dorm leader of Pomefiore. This year, the Headmage has assigned me a duty..." Vil said as he then looked over at the students. "To select entrants to compete in the Song & Dance Championship. We will now begin the ensemble auditions. Rook, take it away." He said as he looked over at the blonde.
"Oui, Roi du Poison." Rook said as he smiled at the male before introducing himself to everyone. "I am Rook Hunt, vice dorm leader of Pomefiore. A pleasure to make your acquaintances." He greeted.

Akari is definitely a beauty just like mama Tomioka, seems like she was blessed with natural good looks. Keiko is absolutely adorable, and reminds me of Ortho which makes me smile. She would probably be the type to follow big sis around, maybe even be a bit protective of her.
