“ Woah.. it looks like you are right, brother. Her DNA is very different than a normal wolf”
Shuri said as she starts to push aside the DNA's projection. They are now back on her lab, T'Challa watch silently as his sister do her thing. He still can't figure it out, on how did the wolf gets inside the barrier and how did she talked to him. He already have a hunch but push it down again as he didn't have enough proof about it. He let out a sigh as his eyes scanned the people inside the lab with them. Okoye stood firmly not far from him alongside the other Dora Milaje, not trusting the wolf to be left alone with the two siblings. T'Challa's gaze fell on the wolf that is laying on the long board, seeing the metal and muzzle still on the wolf's head. He walk a little closer and observe it for a moment before frowning.
“ This is vibranium..” he said as it caught the others attention. Shuri looks up to her brother, her face held no playfulness on them.
“ It is. And i wonder, how did the person responsible for this managed to get their hands on them? I ran some test. The muzzle and collar metal are really made of vibranium” she finishes before she let out a frustrated sigh. It was rare for the girl to be frustrated like this as she was always a ball of joy making pranks and always teasing her brother as she sees him. But today, when she sees the wolf turned into a fire wolf she knew that there's something more to it. Although she likes the thought of having new discoveries, the consequence of it are still unknown. And sometimes she fear the unknown if it is something like this.
NORMAL POV
I stirred awake with something cold touching me. There's also a beeping sound somewhere and my ears perked up at it. My eyes snapped open in shock as panic rose inside me, fearing the thought of being back on HYDRA's lab. I jumped in surprise as my breathing become rag with my heart pounding in my ears as i look around the room. I'm not strap down and so i leap out of the thing i was in and look around the room. I can hear some voices and sees the same woman with spears surrounding me. I let out a growl and snarl at them walking at one side. We circled for a bit before someone step forward in front of them telling the woman to back down.
I took a step back when the same man earlier walk closer before he stopped as my back hit something. The stiffness of my body made me jump when a small sound coming from something that fell to the floor. I look back in front and sees them all staring back at me.
“ Hey, calm down. We have no intentions of hurting you. We just wanted to treat your wounds”
The man said and it was then when i realize something wrapped on one of my legs. I look down for a bit and seed a cloth on it before looking back at him. He seems like he's contemplating about something and i narrow my eyes on him, observing his features incase he did something.
“ I know you can talk”
He said and i can see the others look at him in confusion. I didn't respond at that. I'm not trusting him. But it seems like he read my mind.
“ I know you don't trust me, but i.. we meant no harm. I just wanted to know how did you get inside the barrier of Wakanda?”
Wakanda?
I look at him in confusion. What is Wakanda? And what barrier is he talking about? I didn't.. i look around the room and notice something different outside the glass walls. It was beautiful. I don't know what are they but everywhere there's a glowing kind of blue and i can see some train? Driving fast in seconds. I was brought back to my senses when someone came inside the room and another growl escapes from me causing for the person to stop in their tracks
“ My Prince, we have to proceed with the ceremony”The new comers said. Prince? This man is a prince?
“ We should put the wolf inside the dungeon, my prince” one of the woman said and i can feel my self stiffened.
D- Dungeon? I knew it!
They are just like them!
Anger rise up in my chest i let out a deep growl and snarl at them. They jumped for a bit before raising the spear to me but the man hold up his hand to stop them from attacking me.
“ Let me go!”
I can see the look of surprise on the man's face at hearing my voice inside his mind but he brushes it off and stared at me.
“ We can't let you go if you will cause trouble with my people” he said to me as the others stayed silent probably wondering on who he is talking to.
“ I won't. And it's not me who will cause you more trouble. It's them if you didn't let me go and got found by them again”
I can feel some shiver ran through my body at the thought of getting found again and what will happen to these people. He squinted his eyes on me before stepping a little closer with his furrowed eyebrows.
“ Brother..”
My eyes fell on the girl from the side looking at her brother worriedly.
“ What are you talking about? Who will found you?”
A dead feeling came inside me and i look at him directly in the eyes.
“ HYDRA”
His eyes widen a bit but he quickly composed himself before blinking a few times as his brow furrowed a bit.
“ I don't understand. Hydra has been gone for years”
“ Gone? It is not! Hydra are still active, running experiments after experiments creating more soldiers and weapons and i am one of those people!”
The rumbling on my chest became louder as anger rise inside me. The years of torture came running back inside my head replaying over and over like a tape. I gritted my teeth as i can feel the tears ready to spill out of my eyes as i glared at them. I breathe heavily as my chest rise up and down growling every second. I can see them all on their guard and ready to pounce if i made any move but the man in front of me stops them from doing anything. He was looking at me directly letting the words sink in through his mind at the new information about Hydra.
It stays like that for a moment before he put down his hand. Silence filled the room and i waited for what he is about to do.
“ You are human..” he said slowly. I can see the surprise and confusion to the others face but i ignore them as i look directly at the man.
“ Would it be fine if you turn into your human form? I want to talk to you in person if you'd let me” he continues and i shook my head.
“ I can't.. this things on my neck are preventing me to turn back” i tilted my head a bit showing him the collar that's attached to my skin.
“ We can remove them for you. It was made of vibranium and we have the tools that can remove them if you will let us”
I look at him in surprise. They can remove it? I can feel the excitement building in my stomach at the thought of going back to my human form. I will be able to drink, eat and sleep like before. I can finally go around without someone looking at me in fear when they sees me on my wolf form. But the excitement vanished instantly when another person entered the room. The man turn around when the person look at him, telling the same thing the other person had said about the ceremony. The man nodded his head and turn back to look at me.
“ I know you do not like the sound of being in the dungeon but would it be fine if you stay here for the mean time until we are finished with the ceremony and get back to you?” he said but the girl in mohawk hairstyle intervene walking a bit closer to her brother.
“ What are you saying brother? What if she trash around my lab and destroy everything? You know how important these things are to me” the girl said and i let them sort it out first as i turn my attention outside the glass walls.
It's really beautiful. Those glowing.. rocks? It gives light to the darkness outside as if it was magical. There's some flying things outside and i stared at it in awe. I continue to look at them and i felt myself relaxing a bit before someone called my attention.
“ Would it be fine for you to stay here?”
The man asked me and i think about it for a moment as my eyes fell on the frowning girl beside him.
“ Yes. And tell her not to worry about anything. I won't touch these things or broke them”
The man nodded his head in relief before telling his sister what i said. I can feel her eyes on me but i didn't turn to look at her, instead i continue to look outside until i heard their footsteps walking away. Though there are two woman with spear inside the room with me. I payed them no attention and sat down on the floor looking outside as i let out a sigh.
