Luigi's POV
I woke up far earlier than I usually do, I checked a clock that Bowser had left on a shelf and it read: 6:37, I looked out the window and I saw the Koopa's were at work, I'm guessing these are the ones for the night shift. I can never tell cause they all kind of look the same except for the different colours, I was laying in bed just relaxing when I suddenly heard a lot of commotion from the hallway outside my room, it sounded like children playing some form of game, about eight of them I'm guessing, probably the Koopaling's and maybe Bowser junior? Mario has fought the Koopaling's alot, I always thought that was wrong because in the end of the day their just kids who probably don't know any better, so I usually didn't join him on those adventures. Suddenly, there was banging at my door, it eventually got knocked open cause of all the banging, and Wendy O. Koopa came rushing in, I quickly slipped my mask on and pretended to be laying sick in bed. "PRINCESS! you've gotta let me hide here!" Wendy squealed, loud enough for probably the rest of the Koopaling's to hear her, I just nodded and she slipped under my bed pulling the blanket over the gap where she could be seen from, I heard her clearly out of breath, what the hell could they be doing?
No one's POV
The Koopaling's were running down the hall playing a game of tag, and whoever was it got to use a fire flower to tag the next person. Bowser Jr and Wendy being the smart ones were just hiding, Bowser Jr was hiding in a piranha plant that he managed to slip into, Lemmy was the one currently it, and he was just blasting fire balls left right and centre, mainly trying to target Iggy and Morton Jr who were both screaming and running in different directions, then they started running in zigzags, which ended in them ramming head first into eachother right outside of Luigi's room, which was a funny sight to see. Iggy ran into Luigi's room while Morton Jr kept running straight, Lemmy going after Morton Jr now. Iggy ran out again after without saying a word to Luigi and jumped in another piranha plant across from the one Bowser Jr was in, suddenly Wendy hopped out from under the bed, grabbed Luigi's hand and dragged him out.
"Your playing now, we need another person." Wendy half ordered
"Why do I have to play? I've been very sickly." Luigi mumbled, struggling to keep his voice high.
"Because it's an order!"
Bowser's POV
I heard the princesses voice along with Wendy's, I knew as the Koopaling's were playing a game, Wendy was probably trying to force the princess to play, they've tried that a lot, but I don't intend on letting them do it this time because the princess is ill and I want her to be comfortable.
"Wendy."
"O-oh hi dad!"
"I suggest you give the princess some space while she's unwell, okay? Cause if she gets too sick she might not be able to play with you again."
"Fine, sorry.." -Wendy grumbled to herself as she ran off, as Lemmy was charging at her full speed.
The princess was staring up at me, I could tell she was smiling even with the mask covering her face, I wish she'd take it off, us Koopa's have a stronger immune system and we wouldn't get sick anyway, but she doesn't seem keen on taking it off.
"Princess, will you be taking off the mask while you're here? We won't get sick."
"Oh no, I can't, I wouldn't want any of the children getting sick, you can never be too sure!"
"If you insist, if you need anything just ask one of the guards."
"I will, thank you!"
"Oh, by the way since you probably don't have your phone with you I got you this spare one, just so I can check im on you even if I have royal duties."
"Thank you Bowser! That's very nice of you!"
The princess was being oddly polite, she's usually a lot meaner while she's here, the last time she called me a monster, so this change in demeanour is very surprising, but a pleasant surprise nonetheless, I can't say I'm not suspicious though...her voice has also gotten a lot deeper, and it isn't raspy like a sick persons would be, she also seems in fine health and isn't even any but flushed, but oh well, I'm sure it's nothing, I'll just keep a close eye on her, just Incase. I'm sure it's her though, they wouldn't lie to me would they? And if it was anyone else they'd probably just get too scared to keep the charade up and just admit it at this stage, Peach and Mario are basically the only two people who aren't terrified of me, and it's certainly not Mario so it must be Peach, anyone else would chicken out, but it's still strange how she's become so respectful to not only me but the children as well, she usually rudely turns them down, but this time she only explained how she can't because she's sick, if this behaviour continues I'll just make her take off the mask tomorrow, that'll do. If it's anyone else they probably won't last until tomorrow anyway.
Luigi's POV
Being this close to Bowser is honestly terrifying, he's double my height and manages to be intimidating even if he doesn't man to be sometimes, I admit he has been nice to me since I got here, but that's only because he thinks I'm the princess, though I can tell he's growing suspicious, meaning I'm probably not acting like Peach at all, I have no idea what she acts like when she gets kidnapped anyway so it was kind of hopeless to begin with, I knew that fact would catch up on me eventually, knowing Peach she's probably a lot ruder to Bowser and the Koopaling's because of how she describes them to me, but their not like how she said they were at all, their a lot more fun and kind then she said they were, it makes me kind of want to stay here, not that it's bad back at the mushroom kingdom! It'd just that I've been looking for change lately and maybe this is the perfect opportunity for me to get change, but I can never let Bowser know it's me, he'd have me burnt alive if he knew! So how am I meant to be able to stay here? I hope he doesn't figure out on his own, or anytime soon, I know Mario's coming for me anyway, so I hopefully shouldn't be here all too long, if he has Peach with him he should get here even faster too! So I probably won't be here for too much longer, I'm exited to go back home, but at the same time I don't really want to leave..,
"Princess?"
"Oh! Yes? Sorry I think I started daydreaming a bit!"
"Are you okay? I've been calling your name for the past 5 minutes, I was wondering if you wanted to come to the kitchen with me for breakfast?"
"Of course! I'd love to, what are you having?"
"I'll probably have pancakes, what do you want?"
"I'll have pancakes too!"
I followed Bowser to the kitchen, and god I do love pancakes, Mario didn't do much cooking, but he always made pancakes for me on Pancake Tuesday and they were so good, I haven't had pancakes in a while so I'm exited to see if their nice here too or not, I was looking around the kitchen, and it's way nicer than I had thought, a lot of the designs have marble, along with a connected dining room with a massive table, you'd need a big table to fit eight kids, Bowser signalled for me to sit down so I did, he went into the kitchen to make some pancakes, it was nice he was making them instead of just asking one of the chef's to do it for him!
Bowsers POV
I watched as the princess waited patiently at the table, it was so nice to have her back at the castle, and now is the perfect time to make sure it is her because she'll have to take the mask off to eat, I finished making the pancakes and brought them to the table, and the princess ate the, but keeping the mask on?
"Princess, you can take the mask off while your eating you know right?"
"Oh no, I wouldn't just Incase!"
"Princess please, you'll make things a lot harder on yourself with that thing, if you don't take it off to eat I'll do it for you."
I heard the princess gulp as she slowly pulled down the mask, and she grew a moustache? How did she grow one so fast? Oh wait. It's just the green Mario brother.
No one's pov
"Why are you here and where is the princess?." Bowser said through gritted teeth
"I-a got dared to dress as the princess for a day, and two of the Koopaling's kidnapped me thinking I was the princess.." Luigi muttered under his breath, barely loud enough to hear
"Ugh. Whatever, I know Mario will be coming soon so instead of killing you I'll just use you as bait. The dungeons are currently full so you can just stay in the princesses room for the time being." Bowser grumbled, annoyed at the thought of someone else in the princesses room, but that's the only room available.
"B-bait!? I mean thank you for saving me, but Mario won't accept using me as bait?" Luigi mumbled, looking up at the man infront of him getting increasingly more annoyed
"I'm sure I could get something off him in exchange for you."
Suddenly, a loud thud was heard from the entrance to the castle, catching both Bowser and Luigi off guard, Bowser ran to go see what it was, and...
Sorry the last two chapters have been kinda short, I wrote them both today so their pretty short ones! If anyone has suggestions or ideas I'm looking for them xx
