A/N: Kiba looks like ass lmao!
The Proctors and sensei's of the remaining teams along with the Hokage were gathered with the genin teams in front of them, the Hokage before he explained the third test informed the Genins of the two sides of the chunin exams.
Minato: Alright everyone, I would like to explain the third test now-
???: Please wait Hokage-sama. *Cough cough*
The Genins look towards the person who interrupted the Hokage.
???: I apologize Hokage-sama, but from here on, as the referee. *Cough*
Hayate: Will you please allow me Gekkou Hayate to explain to the Genins?
The now named Hayate asked the Hokage with a bow.
Minato: Of course, by all means.
Hayate: Thank you Hokage-sama. Hello everyone, I'm Hayate, I would like to inform you all something before the third test begins. We will be doing preliminary before the third test to decide who gets to participate in the main event.
Sakura: !?... Preliminary?
Shikamaru: Preliminary? What do you mean!?
Sakura: um I don't understand this preliminary but, why aren't everyone here allowed to participate.
Hayate: Well you see, it seems that the previous tests this year were too easy for all of you, we currently have to many participants remaining, therefore we must reduce the number of participants according to the rules of the third test.
Sakura: N..no way...
Hayate: There will be many guests for the third test as Hokage-sama indicated and the fights might take too long in our limited time. Now to those who aren't feeling well or those who don't want to participate in the next exam this is your chance to back out.
Kabuto walked forward and dropped put which shocked Naruko and the others. Kabuto explains that he is low on chakra and says that his body is too beat up to continue, with that he walked out.
Y/N, Sakura and Mito had noticed Satsuki flinching in pain while holding her neck. Sakura had tried to talk to her about it but was stopped by Y/N. Sakura looked at him and he shook his head. He then made his way to the Uchiha.
Y/N: Hey Uchiha, you sure you want to continue? That mark seems to be giving you trouble.
Satsuki: ... Mind your own business.
Y/N: Well better be cautious because that mark might give you a hard time fighting.
Y/N walked off a little far from the other participants.
Hayate: Alright everyone, since we have exactly 20 participants, we will conduct 10 matches. The winners will advance to the third test. There are basically no rules, the fight continues until one of you dies or is knocked out or admits defeat. If you don't feel like dying then admit defeat, however of I deem the match over then the match ends and I will establish the winner, there's no need for unescasary deaths. Now point your attention to the screen above, this will decide your matches. Now this may be sudden but let's reveal the first fight.
The screen began to go through different names at fast speed, the scrolling slowed and the first fight had been decided.
*Uchiha Satsuki vs Akado Yoroi*
Satsuki smirked as she was to fight first.
Satsuki: 'alright now I don't have to wait'
Hayate: Can Satsuki and Yoroi come up front.
Satsuki and Yoroi now stood facing each other, Satsuki with a smirk on her face and Yoroi with an unreadable expression because of the face mask.
Hayate: Participants Uchiha Satsuki and Akado Yoroi, are you two ready?
Yoroi/Satsuki: Yes.../Yeah...
And finna skip that, basically all the fights but Naruko's fight go as canon.
Hayate: Alright next fight will be... Uzumaki Namikaze Naruko vs Inuzuka Kiba! Please step forward.
Naruko: Ha! Alright!!
Kiba: Damn, this fight might give us a bit of trouble huh Akamaru?
Naruko: You're going down dog breath!
Kiba: Ehh you wish, we're taking you down!
Hayate: Are you two ready?
Naruko/Kiba: yeah!
Hayate: BEGIN!
Hayate jumped away as the two genins rushed each other.
Naruko: Shadow clone Jutsu! *Two clones appear*
One of the clones grabs the other and threw the other clone equiped with two kunai towards Kiba. He dodged the attack and Akamaru bit the clone dispelling it. When Kiba turned back to Naruko she was already in front of him in a crouch position, Naruko hit Kiba with an uppercut which sent him up but before he could go further Naruko grabbed his leg and slammed him down on the ground. Akamaru rushed Naruko in an attempt to help his master but was blindsided by the clone sending the dog to it's master.
Naruko: Ha! Come on Kiba you can do better than this right?
Kiba: Grrr you asked for it. Ninja art Beast mimicry: All-fours Jutsu!
Kiba got down on all fours and chakra began to emanate from his body. Kiba in a burst of speed shot towards Naruko elbowing her on the stomach, this hit knocked Naruko on her back a few meters away from Kiba.
Kiba: She won't be breathing well for a while.
Naruko: Ha! You wish Mut!
She got up with little difficulty.
Kiba: H..how!?
Naruko: I let you hit me.
Kiba: What?
Naruko: I let you hit me to test your strength, and to be honest, it's kind of disappointing..
Kiba: ..... Grrr you... You'll regret that! Let's go Akamaru!
The two once more ran towards Naruko, before they got close Kiba threw smoke bombs blocking Naruko's view. Using it to her advantage she made ten clones inside the smoke. Akamaru jumped at Naruko and bit her hand and fell once more into the smoke. When the smoke cleared, a clone held Akamaru by his front paws and nine Naruko's could be seen surrounding Kiba each with kunai aimed at his neck.
Naruko: That was smart Kiba, you blocked my view, however it blocked yours too, concede.
Kiba: ..... I... I give up.
Hayate: The winner Uzumaki Namikaze Naruko!
Naruko dispelled her clones and went back to her team.
Mito: That was a great fight Naruko.
Sakura: Yeah you did great.
Naruko: Thanks everyone.
Y/N wasn't with them he was standing a few distances away.
Y/N: 'I wonder if they'll be watching at the final event..... I miss everyone...'
Hayate: Now, we get to the final Match! L/N Y/N vs Uzumaki Namikaze Mito!
Naruko/Sakura: Good luck Mito/Do your best sis!
Mito: Yeah thanks.
Y/N was deep in thought thinking about his former family and clan. Will he be able to come back to the clan? Highly unlikely as the clan law indicates, "once the the child of the clan head is disowned he/she will no longer be a part of the clan." This was the reason why he could not face his former siblings and former clan members. His siblings because he was scared that they had come to hate him like their mother did and former clan members because they look at him with disappointed eyes so he stayed away. The information of him being disowned by the clan seemed to have spread around the village as well, making the villagers talk behind his back and children his age make fun of him. His disownment made him lose his friends. Although some felt bad for him but did nothing for the boy.
Hayate: L/N! Please come forward your match is about to begin!
Y/N: Oh sorry. *Scratch back of his head*
This snapped Y/N out of his head. Y/N jumped down now in front of Mito.
Hayate: Are you ready?
Mito/Y/N: Hai!
Hayate: Begin!
As the fight began Mito seemed to be coming out on top as Y/N was getting punched around, the other participants mocked Y/N.
Kiba: As expected of the dead last, he can't even fight back.
Ino: He should have just dropped out.
Tenten: This kid doesn't even have a chance to fight back.
Neji: Hmph, as expected Fate has deemed him unworthy of victory.
Team 7 didn't know what to do, should they cheer for Mito or should they encourage their other team mate?
Kakashi was confused, he knew Mito was strong but he knew Y/N was too, so why is he not fighting back?
Kushina was grinning from ear to ear obviously proud of her daughters and their growth.
Mito kicked Y/N on the chin sending him upwards and Mito jumped up high and fell towards Y/N and delivered a right chakra infused punch to Y/N's gut sending him to the ground. Y/N stood up his clothes now ripped and blood flowing out of his nose and mouth.
Mito: Why aren't you fighting back? I know you're stronger than this..
Y/N: I... I gi-
Before he could say anything more Mito shot her chains put and wrapped it around his neck and pinned him on the wall.
Mito: No, you will not give up, you haven't even thrown a punch yet.
Y/N: Ther.. there's no point... Of me fighting here.....
Mito: Oh? And why is that?
Y/N: .....If.... If I somehow win or even graduate to chunin... Will... Will my family.... Will my family take me back? Will my mother love me again? Will my clan accept me? I became a Shinobi even though I didn't want to be and yet they still.... They still haven't taken me back...
Y/N said looking into her eyes, his voice now cracking as tears flowed down his cheeks.
