It has been a while since we met Shadow. Like, 6 months, maybe. Me and Shadow have gotten close and now you can say we're best friends. Almost like me and Dak, or Summer and Leyla. Now, I have enough courage to tell Shadow how I feel about him. I just need the right time and date.

I know, I know, Night Furies aren't so great at love confessions. But... it's Winger we're talking about! he's competitive and ...sort of cute, too.
"Hey, Shadow. What's up?"
I froze. Leyla.
"Uh, no-nothing special, Ley. Ni-Night Fury stuff. Okay, byeeeee!" I lied and flew away. In the back of my head I could see Leyla make a puzzled look.
"Hey, Shadow."
"Hey, Winger." I said, smiling.
"I was actually going to look for you, I thought i'd have to fly all over Huttsgalor!" I joked.
"Ha!" He chuckled. "I was actually looking for YOU." He said.
"Really?" I asked. "Yup! C'mon!" He confirmed.
Winger and I flew off. "I want to show you something," He said. "It's a surprise."
We landed on an island. It was beautiful.
"Whoa... it's beautiful." I said.
Winger POV
yes! He loved it!!
"Do you like it?"
"Like it?! I love it!!" Shadow replied.
"That's not all." I said. Shadow looked confused.
"Whoa..." Shadow said in awe.
"Yeah. I wanted it to be like this for you." I said.
Shadow smiled. "I love it, Winger." He said.
"I'm glad," I replied.
He rubbed his head on mine. I did the same.
"I, uh.. wanted to tell you something" He said.
"What?"
"Winger... ever since we met, uh- you were the first dragon who caught my eye. You have always been so kind to me. You have been my closest friend. Your like my brother, besides Nightstar. Now I realize what the feeling pounding inside my chest was whenever I see you. I realized that I want you. Now I finally have the courage to tell you. I hope you feel the same...I love you." Shadow confessed.
I was redder then Aggro. He loves me?! This is the best day of my life!!
"It's okay, I know you don't feel the same. I was so stupid to tell you..." Shadow said.
"No, No, No!" I stopped him before he could walk away.
"What?" He asked.
"I...um. Thor, this is embarrassing. Uh, I.. uh, I love you too." I confessed.
"Really, you do?"
"Yeah."
