[King's Landing]
In one of Littlefinger's brothels, Ros, a whore formerly from the North, spoke with a new hire as Janos Slynt entered the room.
"Lord Commander. Good to see you, again." Ros greeted.
Janos was followed by a number of gold cloaks, some of whom were dragging along a prisoner. Some left to search other rooms.
"You do realize this establishment is owned by Lord Petyr Baelish, the King's Master of Coin. Coin which goes in many pockets." Ros told him.
"Orders." Janos replied.
"Whose orders?" Ros asked.
"Someone who doesn't care what Littlefinger thinks."
"No, you can't!"
Some gold cloaks forced Mhaegan and her baby, Barra, into the room. She began crying. The prisoner looks at Barra, and back to Janos and nodded. A gold cloak let go of the prisoner and took Barra from her mother, Mhaegan.
" No! Please! No! Not my Barra! Please. Please."
The gold cloak held a knife to the baby's throat, hesitantly. Throughout the whole ordeal, Mhaegan continued begging for Barra's life.
"Enough. Get it done. Kill the bastard."
After a moment, Janos took out a knife and grabbed the baby.
"Give it here." Janos killed the baby, as her mother, Mhaegan, shrieked. Janos and the other gold cloaks quickly left the brothel.
Outside, some gold cloaks walked along a dock before going up some stairs.
"Spread out! Search every house, every room. Look in every room." One of them said.
Some gold cloaks burst into a house and killed the inhabitants.
Outside again, on a dock, a gold cloak tossed a young boy into the water and proceeded to drown him.
In the streets, some gold cloaks held back a large mob as a baby was carried away. A gold cloak looked on as the baby was presumably killed.
Janos and a number of gold cloaks arrived at the smithy. A gold cloak was holding the blacksmith's face near some hot coals.
"Gendry! His name is Gendry." The blacksmith told them.
"Where is the bastard?" It was Janos Slynt, Commander of the City Watch.
"The Night's Watch! Please, stop!"
"Where?"
"They took him up the Kingsroad, heading north!"
"How will we know him?" Janos asked.
"He's got a bull's head helmet. He made it himself."
"Find him." Janos commanded the Gold Cloaks.
Meanwhile, with the Night's Watch caravan, Gendry loaded some things into a cart, and then helped Arya up onto the cart with him. The group continued on their journey to the Wall.
[King's Landing - Red Keep, Throne Room]
Joffrey was in the middle of holding court when the doors to the throne room swung open.
Everyone turned to see Princess Aelinor storming towards her brother, a deep scowl on her face.
"How could you?! They were children! Our brothers and sisters!"
She continued until she was directly in front of her brother.
"Are you that paranoid of someone 'stealing' your crown that you would order children to be slaughtered?! Did you even know their names?" Joffrey didn't respond. "Of course you didn't. Because you care about nothing and nobody but yourself."
"Watch your tongue. You may be my sister. But I am the King."
"Yes, and what have you done since becoming king, other than throwing us immediately into a war?"
In the corner of her eye, she saw Meryn Trant with a hand on his sword.
"Please Meryn. Take out your sword. I have been waiting for a reason to have you killed."
The man stiffened.
"You do not speak to my Kingsguard like that!" Joffrey stood shouting.
"Be careful brother. If you continue on the way you have, they will not be your Kingsguard for long." She then turned around and began making her way out of the Throne room.
"You dare threaten me?! Come back here! I am speaking to you. You will listen to me."
Aelinor ignored her brother, still fuming as well as heartbroken, at the news of her murdered siblings.
They may not have been fully of her blood, but then again neither were Joffrey, Tommen and Myrcella. Yet she still loved the younger two.
When she arrived back at her room, she saw Ser Willem Fowler standing outside her door.
The pair had not see each other in some time. Once Joffrey became King, he kept sending her protector on foolish tasks.
"Ser Willem," she said, announcing your presence. "Is the Lady Eleanor inside?" She had been in her chambers with her when she received the news of the massacre.
"No, Your Grace. The Lady was requested by her father."
"Good. Remember when I told you I needed your help with something?" He nodded. "Well I need to do it now."
"How may I be of assistance?"
"I need you to find a servant and tell them Amory Lorch's presence was asked for to guard my chambers."
"I don't understand Princess."
"I need a reason for him to be here. Then it will be easier to get him to drop his guard."
"Why would you need that?"
"Ser Lorch is scheduled to travel to Harrenhal to fight alongside my grandfather. This is my last chance."
"Last chance to do what?"
"Kill him."
Ser Willem's eyes widened. "Why? Why would you do that?"
"The Mountain is already out of my grasp, but he was not the only responsible for the murder of Elia and the Targaryen children. I'm sure you've heard the stories." Ser Willem nodded. "That bastard stabbed her fifty times. You know why? 'She wouldn't stop fighting'. That is no man and certainly not one who deserves to be amongst the living."
"Princess, I know you are upset about what happened with the City Watch. Do you believe it is wise to act while you are fueled by emotion?"
"If not now, when? As I said, he leaves today and I lose my chance to take revenge. If I had my way, Slynt would die too. But two deaths would arouse too much suspicion, especially after that speech I just made in the Throne room."
"Why must it be you?"
A servant turned the corner, causing them to immediately stop talking.
Aelinor waited until they were out of sight. "Perhaps we should continue this conversation inside."
"It would be improper Princess."
"Fine. So, will you help me or not?"
"I have a feeling if I say no, you will move forward with your plan, anyway. So, yes, I will help you. Just tell me exactly what you need done."
"You must find a servant, one that cannot be bribed."
"And if I can't?"
"Make up some excuse saying you were called by the King and you need him to guard my chambers in your absence."
"What if he says no?"
"I'm sure he will not. Just trust me. Do that to get him to my chambers and I will take care of the rest. But make sure there are no witnesses. Wait about fifteen minutes and send a new person to guard my chambers. I will have enough time to complete the act, change and leave my chambers. Then I will return and 'discover' the body."
"As you wish, Princess." He bowed and started off down the hall.
I entered my chambers and sat on my bed.
Sighing to myself, I took out a small vial and walked over to the nightstand which held a pitcher of wine. Pouring a cup for myself, I tipped the vial into the pitcher.
"For Rhaenys," I whispered to myself before I heard a knock on my door.
That was fast.
"Come in," I called after having discarded the vial.
Sure enough Amory Lorch opened the door.
"Ah, Ser Lorch. To what do I owe the pleasure?"
"Your guard requested I take over in his absence while he attends to another matter. I told him that it does not usually fall under my responsibilities to guard the door of the Princess."
"In that case, I am grateful you showed up anyway. Come in. I was just about to have some wine. Join me."
"That would be improper, Princess."
"Nonsense. I simply have a question for you. It won't take long. I promise."
Nodding, he closed the door behind him and I offered him a seat at the little table beside my bed.
"Wine?"
He hesitated.
Come on, take it.
Thankfully he did.
I raised my glass in cheers before downing my cup.
I watched as he drained his cup. It wouldn't take long for the poison to take effect.
"Is it good?" He nodded. "I am glad. It was a gift from Dorne for my last name day. I was saving it but something about today seemed like a special occasion. You know about Dorne, don't you?"
"Yes, Princess."
"And the Princess Elia Martell and her children, Aegon and Rhaenys?"
Ser Lorch's face paled.
"Yes, I know all about you Ser Lorch. It's amazing you kept the title after such a brutal act."
"Princess, it-it wasn't..." He began to stammer, meaning the poison was beginning to set in.
"What's wrong? Is it getting hard to speak? To move?"
His eyes widened as he tried to stand up, only to fall immediately to the floor.
"It's amazing what a small amount of poison can do," I said, now standing over him. I pressed my foot against his arm. "I find myself quite fond of this poison. It paralyzes its victim, only it leaves you completely awake and aware of what's happening. Unfortunately for you, it does nothing for pain. You will feel every second of it."
I pulled out a Valyrian Steel dagger, his eyes growing even wider, if that was possible.
"Are you going to beg, plead? I bet Rhaenys and Elia pleaded. But you didn't listen, did you? So why should I listen to you?" I looked at him. "Oh wait. You can't talk. You see, unlike my grandfather and brother, I don't need to hire men to do what I am perfectly capable of doing myself." He could do nothing but stare at me. "There's a saying in High Valyrian I am also quite fond of. Valar Morghulis. All men must die. Valar Doeharis. But first, all men must serve. You have served your man well, Ser Lorch, but now the time has come for you to die." I bent down. "I'm going to enjoy this. For Rhaenys."
With that I landed the first blow.
"For Elia."
Another blow.
"For Aegon."
I kept stabbing until I had reached fifty, the same amount of times he had stabbed young Rhaenys Targaryen.
By now he was long dead, his eyes open, unseeing.
"May you rot in the Hells of whatever Gods you believe in."
Now I set about changing my clothes. I had already purposefully put my hair up and covered it to avoid getting blood in it. It would save time and questions.
Luckily I was well versed in dressing myself. Before Eleanor came along, I had often sent the handmaidens my mother sent to dress me away and insisted on dressing myself.
One I had finished putting on my new dress, I made sure to look myself over, removing the scarf on my head, before exiting my chambers.
I would need to wait at least a few minutes to return so I could be sure the new guard would be there when I "discovered" the body.
After waiting a few more minutes, I returned to my room.
Thankfully the new guard was there.
"Hello," I greeted.
"Princess," he bowed his head.
I walked around him, opening my door.
Stepping in, I let out an earth shattering scream.
The guard quickly rain, sword drawn.
"Princess?!"
I pointed to the body of Amory Lorch.
"He's dead!!!" I screamed.
The commotion had caught the attention of others.
A few guards had run in.
"Protect the Princess," one of them said. "Have her moved to other chambers."
Another guard spotted a passing maid, handing off my "shaking" figure.
"Come on. It's alright," the maid whispered as we walked down the hall.
Yes, it is. The world was free of one more vile man.
(A/N: Am I evil for calling this poetic justice? Incapacitating him with laced Dornish wine and stabbing him with Valyrian Steel. Elia, Aegon and Rhaenys all had Dornish and Valyrian blood. Also, I know he is alive longer in the show, at Harrenhal with Tywin, but I thought this really fit Aelinor's character.)
