Thomson - later naa..... Now ...you should be a good boy and go to school ...you should study well and make mom and dad proud okay ??...
He nodded ....I smiled and pecked his forehead ....

He nodded and went to arrange his bag ....I sighed and controlled my tears ...w..what am I gonna do now ?....will little pie be okay if i say mom and dad won't ever come!!....flashes of mom and dad in blood came in front of my eyes ...I shook my head calming down my breathing ...i breathed in heavily and went to Thomas ....he is arranging his bag ....
Thomson - are you ready munchkin?....I made lunch today ...feed little pie okay ?....he is not finishing his lunch totally ...

He said and went to little pie ....I tried to smile but just tears ran on my cheeks ...I wiped them and tried to smile ....( sob ).... I..it's okay ...munchkin is right ..( sob )... I am lying to little pie ...( sob )...h.how can i tell little pie that mom and dad are dead ??....

I wiped my tears immediately and smiled ....I arranged a lunch box in his bag and went to the bus stop with them ...they both waved to me and went on the bus ...I smiled and went back to the room ....I bathed and looked at my hands which are covered in burnt marks ....it's my first time cooking ...I sighed ...

I looked at my hands ...they healed in seconds ...I smiled and went to grandpa .....I gave him his meds ...later we went to the garden ...iam picking up flowers happily and giving them to grandpa....he smiled and arranged a flower in my hair...I giggled and smiled....he took me into his arms ...
Grandpa - something is in your little brain kiddo ??.... You know you can share with grandpa okay ?....
Thomson - nothing grandpa ...
He smiled and cupped my face ....
Grandpa - i saw almost everything in life already kiddo ....I can tell the difference between being happy and acting happy ...
He hugged my head rubbing my back ...I cried silently in his chest catching his collar ....
Grandpa - it's okay na kiddo ....you should stay strong naa....hmm ??...life just tests us from time to time ...it depends on us how we are facing them ...everything will be fine naa..hmm ?..... After one year ...
It's been a year already ....little pie stopped asking me about mom and dad ..I don't know why ....little munchkin became even more silent ....he talks less than his normal self ...I am just worried about him .....grandpa gave me salary ...I bought a nice dress for my brothers ....I took them to a lake side ..they sat either side of me resting their heads on my shoulders ...I smiled and caressed their hair gently ....

They both are crying hard ...I calmed down both of them and controlled my tears ....it's been a month that little pie understood and didn't ask me about mom and dad from that day again .... It's his birthday today ...he went to school wearing his new dress ....I went to buy a gift for him ....p san accompanied me ...I bought a teddy bear ...I smiled...he will love it for sure ...

I smiled and we went back home.... Little pie cut the cake and we all clapped happily ...I gave him the teddy bear...he jumped happily and hugged me ...

I put him down ...as soon as he parted ...munchkin jumped onto me ...I giggled and kissed his cheek ....we all smiled happily and ate the cake ....
P san gave Teddy bear to nong tar ...nong tar is happy too ...nong tar and little pie is showing their gifts and playing happily ..... I made dinner and we all ate together ...little pie went to sleep hugging the teddy bear...I smiled and covered him in quilts ...I pecked his forehead and smiled ...
I went to my usual place on the cliff looking at the lake ....little munchkin came to me and sat beside me ...I gave him the white rose i picked this morning in the garden ...he smiled and laid on my lap ...I ruffled his hair and patted his head ...he went to sleep hugging my waist ...I smiled and pecked his forehead ..... Later i carried him to our room ...I covered him in his quilts and went to sleep hugging little pie and little munchkin ....
Thomas pov :
I went to the garden with the remaining cake in my hands .... Nong tar is there in the garden looking at his new teddy bear ...he smiled looking at me ...I gave him the cake ...
Nong tar - for me P ?...
I nodded ...he giggled and took it ...P san and P thom are having their dinner ...I finished mine and came here ....he sat beside me and ate it ...I wiped his mouth ...
Thomas - eat neatly ...
He nodded .... After finishing the cake ...he kissed my cheek and smiled ...he snuggled into my arms burying his face in my neck ....
Nong tar - P ...you see my teddy bear ...it's so good ...right ?...
I nodded ...he smiled and started playing with my hand ...
Nong tar - someone pushed me P ....look ...I got hurt ...
He showed me his hand ...there is nothing there ... He looked at my face and looked at his hand ...
Nong tar - its gone P ...but i did get hurt ....
I nodded and caressed his hand ...he giggled and started his talk ..iam just listening to his blabbering.....
Tharn - why is he so cute ?....

I caressed his hair ...he went to sleep catching my shirt ...I smiled and carried him to his room ...P san is arranging bed ...

P san smiled and showed me tar's bed ...I arranged him in his bed and covered him in quilts ...tharn looked at him for sometime and i went to the room ...where is P ?.... I went to look for him ...he went to the cliff again ...
I went to him and sat beside him....he smiled and gave me a white rose .....i know it's P's favourite....I smiled happily and laid on his lap ....I am looking at the moon ...I should find a way to make P go to school ...but he is stubborn .....he always talks about taking care of grandpa ...what about him?... Who will take care of P ?...
I hugged his waist and he is ruffling my hair ....mom and dad left us alone already ...we should take care of each other ....I should take care of P ...I went to sleep soon ....
The next day me and little pie went to school as usual with nong tar and P san ....my morning classes completed .....we all gathered in our usual place for lunch ....I opened little pie's lunch box and mine ...I ate it in the middle while feeding him his lunch ....nong tar forwarded his hand to me with an apple piece in his hand ...
Nong tar - for you P ...
I nodded and ate it ....he giggled happily...I dropped little pie and nong tar in his class ....I was on my way to my class ....I saw some army officers giving training to senior students ...I went to them ..one of the army officers looked at me ....
Officer - heyy kiddo ...what do you want to be in your life ?..
Thomas - i ...I just want to protect my brothers ...
He smiled and ruffled my hair ...
Officer - then ...how about protecting our country ??...
I nodded ...
He gave me a form ....
Officer - fill it if you are interested kid ...okay ?....
I nodded ....I went back home ...I filled it up ..I should be strong to protect and to take care of P thom and little pie ....I submitted the form in the school ...I am the only one from my class since no one was interested ....it's my decision so i should work hard for it !!....
I know it's not that easy but dad said no pain , no gain !!...I smiled and started my training daily ...
