Just a few days before the expedition begins, Eren was sitting with Levi and his squad, just thinking about the plan for the expedition.

Just before expedition was about to commence, everyone was outside on their horses, waiting for the gates to open, you were on your horse with Armin, since you were put into his group, which was odd considering Levi specifically said that eyes were on you now aswell, but you shrugged it off, thinking that it wasn't much of a deal anyway and Eren's titan power was for ofa concern to everyone at the moment. Armin noticed how quiet you were, so he gently tapped your shoulder, causing you to look over at him.
''Are you wondering where Eren is...?'' Armin asked, you shook your head
''It's Mikasa...I can see everyone else...but I can't see her...'' You said calmly, Armin looked around to see if he could see Mikasa
''I'm sure she's close by...don't worry...'' Armin reassured you, you nodded

The bells had just rang, whilst meant it was time to go, you breathed in then breathed out, tightening your grip on the strap.

As you all were galloping forward through the plains, multiple titans were approaching and you did what you had to do, and that was to destroy them, the air was more of your area, you had complete control of what you were doing, despite being at an advantage with your leg, everyone else was surprised at well you could present yourself, your weakness wasn't really your weakness, you knew how to make it better, so you slayed multiple titans before anyone even got a chance to do so, Armin was watching you with a smile
''I know I wasn't mean to destroy them they were for the other teams...but I couldn't help it...'' You let out a giggle, causing Armin to smile
''Your midair form is amazing...'' Armin spoke in awe, you smiled at him
''Thank you...'' You said quietly
''LONG DISTANCE SCOUTING FORMATION!!! DEPLOY!!''

''And, when a titan energy is spend, it's movements become sluggish depending on the individual...however, they're not easily outwitted like this every time.''

Or they may be detected late due to the lay of the land or obstacles....A titan has sometimes made it to the middle of the formation. You and Armin were still galloping along the plains, just on the lookout, it was awfully quiet and it didn't really give out good vibes, Armin was also feeling the same since it was quiet.

''Strange...It's been a while since the red signal was sent'' Armin stated as he looked around

''When it comes to abnormals and their unpredictable behaviour, there's no choice but to fight!''
Two of your seniors were close by and had to anything to deal with the abnormal, you wanted to do something about it on your own, but it was best if you didn't do anything right now, you had your fun before, so it's someone's else turn to destroy them, you and Armin watched the two attack it, a small smile on your face
So after the abnormal was dealt with, another titan was spotted far back, however this one was weird. It was moving way too fast , taking Armin and you by complete surprise. As the soldier were trying to stop this ''abnormal'', the titan killed the soldiers like it was nothing. Throwing them like rag dolls.

💭 ''That's a human inside a titan body...damn it...where the heck do these people keep coming from...?''
You and Armin were speeding your horses, the titan was running behind you both, causing yours and his eyes to widen. You noticed the titan was about to stomp on him, so you interfered causing Armin to gallop away and you to crash land on the floor. You were lucky you didn't get injured too badly, just a few scratched. You were about to get up, but the immense pressure the titan was exerting causes you to freeze, you looked over at Armin and saw his shocked expression. The titan got onto its knees and slowly took off your hood, revealing your face, but then it stormed off somewhere leaving you both lost for words.

''You're not going to kill me?'' Your voice trailed off
''What was that...?' It grabbed my hood...my face....? It check my face..?'' You mumbled quietly as you touched your face
💭 ''It was looking at me...shit! Is it looking for Eren...?!''
''Y/N!!'' Yelled someone, you looked over and saw Reiner heading towards you both
''Hey, can you stand?!! Never mind...let's go you on a horse....there's no way you'll survive outside the wall without one'' Reiner sighed as he helped you up, you thanked him
''I saw the flare indicating an abnormal...was it the one with the nice ass?'' Reiner asked

So after you told Reiner the truth about the abnormal titan, Jean made his way over and informed that the right flank has been wiped out. Just then Armin's eye caught onto something, he noticed the same titan from before was running in front of them. After some explaining...
''I bet the person she's looking for are Eren!''
''Eren? Aren't they in Squad Levi, which is leading the right flank, where that titan was!'' Reiner stated
''The right flank?''
''According to the operational chart I was given, they were supposed to be stationed near the back of the left flank''
''The copy I received was them position up front on the right flank...''
''It only make sense...we all got given different copies so Eren's position would stay a secret...'' You said calmly, causing the three of them to look over at you
''All right, then where the hell is Eren?''
''They'd have to put them in the safest sport in the formation....so they're in the center towards the back" Armin said as he put on his thinking cap, you nodded, agreeing with him
💭 ''Could that be where Mikasa is too then...? I have a feeling she wants to stay with Eren all the time...but how did Commander Erwin allow it...even so...I should've been there...damn it...''

After deciding that they were going to halt the female titan, Armin told them to put their hoods on. The three of them sped up on the horses towards the female titan. But she being the intelligent titan she is, she immediately turned to them and threw Armin's horse away, taking Jean and Reiner by surprise. Armin was now shouting nonsense, taking Jean by surprise, however it causes the female titan to halt.
Reiner then made a run for it, aiming for her nape, but he was grabbed instantly. After some struggle, blood was seen squirt out from the fist of the female titan, causing Jean and Armin to freeze in horror. However, Reiner managed to get out. The female titan began running away again
