"Do you want to play with me and my puppy...?" You asked calmly with a small smile, as you looked down at your fur baby and then back at Eren, his eyes slightly widened

''Mum! I'm going out to play, see you later!'' Eren yelled before he closed the door

''Honey, I'm right here, no need to shout, silly. Just be careful'' Carla chuckled as she ruffled Eren's hair, who now giggled nervously
''Oops...sorry...'' He said apologetically
So, now you and Eren were on your way through the neighborhood, you let Eren hold your little puppy, because you could tell how much Eren wanted to hold it, so, you being the nice person you are, allowed him to hold it. The sun was up and it was just another warm and sunny day.
''So, funny thing, I didn't get your name yesterday...'' Eren chuckled as he looked over at you, you nodded
''My name is L/n Y/n...'' You said simply, he nodded
''Ahhh...nice to meet you, Y/n. You already know my name, I think...if you remembered from yesterday that is...'' Eren smiled,
''Yeah, it's Eren...'' You smiled back at him, he nodded
''So...where do you live...?'' Eren asked as he gently stroked the puppy's head, you let out a sigh which Eren noticed of course
''I live outside...I don't really have a home...so I just do with what is outside...'' You said calmly as you gave him a small smile, now this caught his attention

''Where is your family then, if you don't mind me asking...?'' Eren asked worriedly, you
''Never had one.'' You simply stated. Eren was left speechless, but a sad expression made itself visible on his face, you glanced over at him
''You don't need to feel sorry for me, I'm used to it, so don't worry. Besides, I have my little one with me and that's all I need...'' You smiled at him, whilst ruffling your puppy's fur, Eren smiled
''You seem happy, to say the least, but, we are friends now, so you can come to my house whenever you want to.'' Eren smiled as he patted your head, your eyes slightly widened as you found yourself staring at him

''Would your other friends be okay with that...?'' You asked worriedly and curiously, Eren nodded
''Mikasa and Armin? Yes, of course they will'' Eren reassured you, you nodded slowly
[Back at Eren's House]
Carla was currently doing the dishes, when Mikasa just walked in with Dr Jaeger, Mikasa scanned the inside and noticed a certain brown haired boy wasn't here, she walked up to Carla and tapped her arm, causing her to look down at Mikasa.
''Have you seen Eren?'' Mikasa asked as she looked around worriedly, Carla smiled as she nodded
''Yeah, he just went outside with his new friend...'' Carla said simply, Mikasa's eyes widened slightly

''New friend...?'' Mikasa asked surprising
''Yes, it was the girl you met yesterday....'' Carla answered, now this caught Mikasa's attention, a small frown made its way onto her face now
''Thank you'' Mikasa said politely before running out of the house, Carla shook her head whilst smiling
Mikasa ran and ran through the neighborhood, trying to find you and Eren, she was going to play with Eren today and she couldn't believe that Eren had forgotten about it and just left with someone he only 24 hours ago, this hurt Mikasa in a way. She eventually found you both and saw you sat at a river bank, playing with your puppy. Mikasa could hear you both laughing, she slowly made her way over, you and Eren both looked up.
''Mikasa! Come and play with us...'' Eren smiled as he placed the puppy in her arms, Mikasa sat down with your puppy
''I thought we were going to play today...I came back home and saw you weren't there...did you forget about it, Eren?'' Mikasa frowned slightly as she looked at Eren, who's eyes widened slightly, you obviously took notice of her facial expressions

''Ahh...I am so sorry...I must've forgotten...but we can pay together now...'' Eren nervously panicked as he looked at Mikasa, who just let out a sigh
💭 ''Is she jealous...?''
''If you want me to go, I can. You and Mikasa can just play...'' You smiled as you picked up you puppy from her and stood up now, Eren's eyes widened slightly as did Mikasa's

''What no! Don't leave, Mikasa is just being silly...we can just play together...'' Eren smiled as he pulled you back down on the grass, you glanced over at Mikasa and noticed her sad expression which seemed more sad and hurt,
💭 ''Clearly she feels uncomfortable with me being here...I'll just go...''
''No, it's alright...besides, it's not like you've known me long, Mikasa has been your friend longer, so, just play together, I'll play with my puppy on my own...it was nice seeing you, Mikasa...'' You offered a weak smile before getting up and walking away, leaving and shocked Eren and Mikasa
And with that, your figure began to slowly disappear. Eren tried running after you but Mikasa stopped him and just said to leave you alone, Eren being the clueless idiot clearly had no idea what was actually going on. You were walking on your own, going wherever your feet took you, surprisingly, you ended up at another river bank, but here, you saw Armin sitting there, reading something. It looked like a book, and this caught your curiosity, so you made your way over and sat down besides him.
''Hello...'' You said quietly, Armin flinched slightly, but he smiled when he noticed it was you
''Hi, Y/n...'' He smiled shyly back
''What are you reading...?'' You asked curiously, Armin showed you his book, you could see mountains, the sea, which had been a normal occurrence to you, so you wondered why he was reading a book
''It's my grandpas' book, it contains information about what the outside world is like...there is this big water, called 'Sea' which contains salt. I want to see it all...'' Armin's eyes were lit up as he stared at the images in the book.
You were confused now...
💭 ''Wait...has he never seen these things before...?''
💭 ''No wonder he sounds so excited...''
''Don't you want to see the outside world...?'' Armin asked curiously, this question stumped you now
''I mean...there is so much to explore in this world...and I want to do it...'' Armin smiled as he continued to look into the book

''But...it's taboo to speak of the outside...I don't understand why people want to be trapped in these walls forever...'' Armin now frowned, you stared at him
💭 ''Oh....I see...these walls...''
💭 ''Maybe I shouldn't tell him about me being from somewhere far away then...who knows what they might do here....I'll just have to keep quiet...''
''I would love to visit the outside world...maybe I can see something different from what I was used to....'' Your voice trailed off now, with the last bit becoming barely audible, so Armin couldn't hear you
For the rest of the afternoon, you and Armin sat outside, talking about dreams, and one thing was very clear, these walls have essentially trapped people in, people like Armin's who dream of going outside are unable to do so, so you wondered if you were lucky in that case that you could see the outside world, but unlucky at the same time because you felt trapped in your home country and he feels trapped her, maybe you were more alike to these people than you originally thought. You really enjoyed speaking to Armin about he dreams and what he wishes, it really made you rethink everything.
But now, you were trapped again, just like him...and everyone else...
''Hey Armin, if you ever go outside these walls...what will you want to see first...?'' You asked him, Armin looked at you and then back at his book, a small smile on his face

''The Sea...I want to see the Sea first...'' Armin smiled, you smiled too
