That night Seokjin fell asleep on the chair that was outside the Icu. Well he said that he preferred to stay there after the doctor successfully completed the operation after 5 hours. The others except Seokjin, Namjoon and Hoseok went home. Namjoon took a hotel room nearby for Hoseok and him to spend the night.
The next day Namjoon woke up early and after doing his morning routine, he drove to the hospital. He searched for Seokjin for 20 minutes before finding him outside the icu. He didn't say anything but silently sat next to his hyung.
About an hour later, Seokjin stirred and blinked his eyes open. His eyes widen seeing Namjoon next to him, casually scrolling through his phone. He sat up straight making Namjoon look at him with a raised eyebrow.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Seokjin asked. "It's a hospital and my hyung is in the icu, am I not supposed to come here?" Namjoon asked raising an eyebrow. "In the middle of the night?" Seokjin asked. "It's 8:30 am hyung, go and freshen up. I'll stay here in the mean time" Namjoon said. Seokjin frowned and looked at his watch. "Oh" he softly muttered.
"Where's Hoseok?" Seokjin asked, noticing the absence of the boy. "He didn't wake up when I came here" Namjoon said. "The others?" Seokjin asked. "I don't know, I didn't check them" Namjoon said. "Alright then I am going back home, I will check them and freshen up then I will come back. Call me if you need anything" Seokjin said standing up. He walked away as Namjoon resumed scrolling.
Seokjin did not expect to see Jimin and Jungkook having an argument, when he walked into his house. They were both yelling at each other and ready to beat the shit out of each other. "What the hell do you think you are doing?" Seokjin asked, so loudly that it drowned the other twos voices. Both stopped and stared at Jin.
Seokjin's onyx were sharp as they glared at the duo. "He talked shit about Jen!" Jungkook exclaimed pointing at Jimin. Jimin rolled his eyes. "He talked shit about my parents" Jimin muttered. Jungkook looked away. "Where's Taehyung?" Seokjin asked looking around for the boy.
"He didn't wake up, no maybe he did. He just didn't come out of his bedroom" Jimin said. Seokjin stormed upstairs to Taehyung's room. Jimin and Jungkook on his trail. They arrived at the second floor where Hoseok's, Jimin's and Taehyung's room where. He knocked on the grey themed door. There was no response.
"Tae, I am coming in" Seokjin said. He waited for a few seconds in which Jungkook and Jimin shared a look. Then Seokjin slowly cracked the door open. It was dark since the black curtains were drawn around the balcony windows. He slipped in and glared at Jimin and Jungkook when they also sneaked in behind him with an awkward smile.
Jungkook closed the door behind him, softly. Taehyung was sitting on his king sized bed with his blanket drawn over him completely covering his shaking form. The room was so cold as if they were in Antarctica. Jimin, who was the closest to the light switch flipped it on making Taehyung flinch. Seokjin glared at Jimin as Jungkook pushed his fist into his mouth to stop the oncoming laugh.
Seokjin slowly walked towards Taehyung and slowly pulled the blanket off him. Taehyung was hugging his knees trembling from head to toe. Taehyung buried his face deeper into his knees, letting out a choked, almost silent sob. The only time Taehyung's eyes ever became home to tears was when he is having a panic attack. "Jungkook-ah turn on the heater" Seokjin said.
Jungkook went to do what he was told to do. "Taehyung-ah" Seokjin slowly called him and raised his hand to touch Taehyung's hair. Taehyung flinched and backed away. "Don't hurt me" He whispered, his lower lips trembling. "Taehyungie you are not there" Jimin said sitting closer to him. "Who are you people?" Taehyung mumbled.
Jungkook walked towards the trio, after turning on the heater. Taehyung's eyes landed on Jungkook and it widened. He slithered back as Jungkook stared at him in confusion. "Please sir don't hurt me!" Taehyung begged with his hand clasped together.
"I-I-I am sorry?" Jungkook said since he had no idea what to say. Taehyung's eyes widened. "No please do not hurt them. I am begging you, do whatever you want with me, please spare them" Taehyung's tears were falling down his cheeks like a waterfall. His knuckles white due to how hard he was clasping his hands.
"Hyung listen, I do not intend on hurting you nor your siblings. I could never. And I am Jungkook. And it's 2021 not 2012" Jungkook desperately said. Jungkook sat next to Seokjin who was looking at Taehyung with an expression between pity and anger.
"Hyung, we have to calm him down or he is gonna hurt himself" Jimin's desperate voice pulled Seokjin out of his trance where he was killing Taehyung's dad for the umpteenth time. "You know very well that only you can calm him down" Jungkook said. "Yes I am trying my best but he isn't calming down" Jimin said.
"Jungkook-ah go grab the medicine from my bedside table and a syringe too and a pair of gloves" Seokjin ordered. Jungkook run out of the room, the action startling Taehyung so badly that he began to shake even more.
"Please Tae! Come back I am begging you! I will stop fighting with you too. You can have all my dumplings so please come back" Jimin desperately said hugging Taehyung tightly. Taehyung looked down at him and patted Jimin's hair, the action making the other two look at Taehyung with hope.
"It's okay Jaemin-ah, hyung is okay. No bad man came. Only father did. He yelled at me, didn't hurt me. So don't cry" Taehyung said with a soft voice. Jimin broke down into a sob and hugged Taehyung even tighter. Seokjin dig his nails into his palm to control the tears that were oozing out of his oval almond shaped eyes.
Taehyung turned to Seokjin. "Uncle who are you? Do I know you? Or..... Do you know our father?" Taehyung asked, his voice full of hesitance. Taehyung continued "If so I will do anything for you. Just don't touch them. Please Uncle". Then he turned to Jimin. "Jaemin-ah go to the other room with your siblings I will be back" Taehyung said.
"No NO NOO. Tae! I am Seokjin! Your hyung!" Seokjin yelled. As if on cue Jungkook burst into the room. "Father!" Exclaimed Taehyung. "Hyung I got the medicine and syringe. Here's the gloves" Jungkook ignored Taehyung and walked straight to Seokjin putting all the stuff on the bed.
"Thanks" Seokjin said as he pulled the gloves on and put the medicine in the syringe. " Do me a favour both of you grab him. Don't let him move or it's gonna be difficult" Seokjin said to the other two.
The other two complied. Jimin grabbed both Taehyung's hands and pinned it down as Jungkook did the same to Taehyung's legs. Taehyung began thrashing around.
Seokjin loomed over Taehyung and grabbed the latter's right hand. He pulled the sleeves up of Taehyung's brown hoodie. Taehyung was much stronger than Seokjin so Seokjin put his knee on Taehyung's palm to keep him down as Jimin tried his best to stop Taehyung thrash around.
Seokjin injected the medicine onto his anterior cubital fossa and Taehyung slowly lost consciousness. Suddenly Seokjin's phone rang from his jeans pocket. Seokjin put aside the medicine and syringe then answered the call. It was Namjoon.
"Oh hello hyung!" Namjoon greeted. "Yes Joon why do you call me?" He asked. "To tell you that Jen woke up" Namjoon said. "Oh that's good" Seokjin answered. "Yes and Hoseok went to the pharmacy to buy some medicines" Namjoon informed. "Oh Hobi is there?" Seokjin asked, the question making Jimin and Jungkook look at each other confusingly.
"Yeah, he seemed a bit out of it. But I think he is relieved that nothing happened to Yoongi hyung" Namjoon said. "That's better, but Joonie sent him home after that. He needs rest" Seokjin said. "Yeah alright. Oh speaking of Yoongi hyung, we can visit him in the icu. But only one visitor per day. So do you wanna see him?" Namjoon asked.
"Yeah I would love to but something happened here" Seokjin as he turned to look at the unconscious Taehyung. There was a pause and then Namjoon's concerned voice boomed through the phone "Why what happened?".
"It's Taehyung, he was having a panic attack. He thought Jungkook was his father. I sedated him, so he should be asleep for a few hours" Seokjin explained. "Oh should I come?" Namjoon asked. "No it's alright, you take care of Hoseok. I will drop by in 2 hours" Seokjin said. "Oh okay" and Namjoon ended the call.
"Hyung why did Namjoon hyung call you?" Jungkook asked. "To tell that Jen woke up" Seokjin answered. An excited look came onto his face "Really? Jen woke up!?" Exclaimed Jungkook. "Yes, freshen up. Let's visit her" Said Seokjin and Jungkook ran out of the room.
About two hours later, both Jungkook and Seokjin arrived at the hospital, in front of the ICU. Jimin volunteered to stay back to take care of Taehyung. Namjoon was sitting there scrolling through his phone while Hoseok was just staring ahead, looking completely drained.
Seokjin slowly walked towards them whereas Jungkook ran ahead and plopped himself onto Namjoon's lap who let out a painful groan. "What the fuck is wrong with you?" Namjoon asked, pushing Jungkook off his lap and onto the floor. Jungkook grinned and sat next to Namjoon. Seokjin ignored the other and stood in front of Hoseok who was still in a daze.
"Hey what happened? Why do you look so dead? Yoongi made it! So give me a smile!" Seokjin exclaimed kneeling in front of Hoseok to meet his eyes. Hoseok looked at him, his eyes didn't have the sparkle it usually had. "I don't know how to face Yoongi hyung" Hoseok said. "What do you mean face him?" Seokjin asked confused.
"The doctor told us he woke up about 10 minutes ago or so" Namjoon answered him. "Yoongi hyung woke up????!!" Jungkook yelled. Namjoon nodded. He smiled brightly and said "I'll tell Jimin". Then he walked away to call Jimin. Seokjin looked at Namjoon confused. "He woke up?" Seokjin asked.
"Yes he did, we didn't tell you because we thought we would tell you when you are here. Also since he woke up and this is your hospital we can visit him. But only two person per day" Namjoon explained. "So did you see him?" Seokjin asked. "No I didn't, I asked Hoseok to visit him but he is here sitting like this, so I waited for you to come to make a solution" Namjoon said.
Seokjin turned to Hoseok. "Why do you not want to see Yoongi?" Seokjin asked. "He is gonna hate me" Hoseok muttered, his eyes were glassy. "No but he is gonna be angry with you" Seokjin said. Hoseok looked at him and asked "What why?". "Because he tried to suicide and you didn't let him. He is gonna be mad but if you could turn back time, would you rather not save Yoongi because he would be mad if you saved him?" Seokjin asked.
Hoseok looked at Seokjin with a 'are you crazy?' look. "No of course not, why would I do that?" Hoseok asked, his tanned face turning into frown. "Then what are you scare about? You saved Yoongi. If he is gonna be mad at you, let it be. He is a jerk. You saved him because you wanted to see Yoongi more, you wanted to love Yoongi more" Seokjin said.
Hoseok nodded agreeing with him. "And I couldn't afford to lose him" Hoseok mumbled. "Exactly, so come on. Throw your fear out of the window and let's visit Yoongi" Seokjin said and smiled when Hoseok's lips turned upwards into a smile. "Thank you hyung" Hoseok said.
Seokjin smiled standing up, then pulled Hoseok into his feet. "When Jungkook comes back tell him to wait till we come back to visit Jen. Okay?" Seokjin said to Namjoon who nodded. And then they walked into the ICU and a nurse accompanied them to change into a scrubs to avoid infection.

Hello guys! It's the author, back at it again with a new chapter. I hope you all like this chapter and I am really sorry for the slow updates. I will try to update as fast as possible though.
Also thank you so so so much for 100k! I am baffled! It has been two years since I started this book. I never thought I would be coming this far. I lost interest halfway but y'all motivated me to write more. I still remember when I thanked you all for hitting 1k. Looking back I have realized how far I've come and it's all thanks to you guys.
Also I am very sad to tell you that Moonbin of Astro passed away on April 19, 2023. It was such a devastating news for Arohas and Kpop stans. Rest in peace Moonbin, may you shine the brightest in sky.
On May 15th, 2023, Haesoo a korean trot singer committed suicide. May her soul rest in peace.
