Shuri looked out the window. The car stopped in front of a beautiful luxury vacation house. The driver opened the car for her. "Thank you." She kindly thanked the man and took her suitcase with her.
Riri heard Shuri outside and directly opened the door from the vacation house. "Shuri there you are!" Riri smiled big. Shuri smiled and walk down the stairs of the porch, carrying her suitcase. "Welcome to this beautiful vacation house, you are going to stay for the upcoming two weeks!" Riri spread her arms.
Shuri let go of her suitcase and hugged her friend. "Thank you, it looks beautiful here." Shuri and Riri pulled away from each other, Shuri looked around.
"Come in!" Riri welcomed her in. Shuri got a tour of the house before they sit down across from each other. "As I said before this is the vacation house you are going to stay in, getting away from all those hungry women who want you, taking your time to relax!" Riri says and crossed her legs. Shuri laughs and nods.
"Great, that is giving me also time to process this all." Shuri looked around her and back to Riri. "Is it true? Are there women who want a lab nerd like me?" Shuri couldn't believe all of this is true.
Riri laugh. "Girl-. Fifty thousand women signed in to participate in this program." Shuri's eyes widened.
"Fifty thousand women!" Shuri perked up. "Oh." Shuri smiled a bit shyly. Riri laugh and clear her throat.
"Don't flatter yourself, bitch." Riri mumbled in jealousy. Shuri laughed, looking devilishly at her. "But I'm happy to host this program for you, my friend!" Riri smiled, Shuri smiled, and shook her head. "How do you feel to finally be here?" Riri gets serious now.
Shuri thought about it. "I can't believe this is happening or let me say. I can't believe I let this happen to me. I never thought of doing this. But now that I realize that I'm single for many years and this opportunity came to my path-." Shuri smiled. "I thought why not. Hopefully, I will find the right woman for me."
"Yes, because what are you doing here, Shuri? Are you finding a true love, or something else and what are you finding in a woman? What type?" Riri asks.
Shuri nods. "True love, for sure and what I want this woman to be for me is-. Uhm." Shuri looked up. "I want her to be, kind." She looked back at Riri. "I want her to be kind, I want her to be passionate and real. All I'm looking for in a woman is that she can be herself." Shuri tells, Riri nods smiling. "And yes, the attraction needs to be there but it's whatever. She needs to be attracted to me too." Shuri shrugged.
"That's true and that's why your best friend forever here selected twenty beautiful women who definitely are your type!" Shuri's lips are shaped like an o. Riri nods. "Mhm and you are going to meet them tonight!"
"Wow!" Shuri laughed and bite her lip.
"But first you have some homework to do! I asked these beautiful ladies to write their favorite quote. I collected all of them and put them inside this box." Riri grabbed the glass box next to her and place it on my lab. "I want you to read them and pick one that really speaks to you. Remember that quote because you are going to need it tonight!" Riri winked and gives the box to Shuri.
"Okay! Cool! I'm excited about this." Shuri smiled big looking down at the box. She couldn't wait to read all of the quotes from all women and you.
As soon as your friends saw the advertisement that Shuri will be the Bachelorette, they secretly sign you in to participate. Not only because they think that Shuri and you are fitting well as a beautiful couple, but also because you deserve someone who truly can love you. Your life isn't that easy but that will be explained soon. Your family also keeps it a secret from you, until they found out that you are chosen to be in the program.
It was all a surprise for you and you aren't sure that you are in for something like that. But you finally decide to give it a try, Shuri appeals to you anyway. When it's time you got a list from the program which outfits you need to take with you and everything. You packed your things and said goodbye to your family and friends for now. You got picked up with the Spaceship just like the rest of the twenty girls who are selected to be in this program.
Looking at all the pretty candidates makes you a bit insecure. You aren't sure what to expect at all, but what you are wondering more is how Shuri will be in person. You have seen her in photos and videos before, but this is different. Meeting her in person is something else and you actually hoped that she's not as cute as you think she is. You don't want your feelings to be in this game. But it's probably too late for that.
You met a few of the girls who are nice to you. But there are some woman around, that is giving "the bad bitch" and "I want Shuri so badly vibes".
It's nighttime and it's time for the first meeting of the Bachelorette. Shuri is wearing a long black dress with a golden statement necklace, her short curlies are nicely done. She's standing at the end of the red carpet. Riri, who's wearing a beautiful dress with high heels walked over to Riri. "Look at you! You look so pretty, girl!" She complimented Shuri. Shuri smiled and thanked her. "So this is the place where you are going to see all the women who are giving a chance on meeting you, tell me. What is running through your mind?" Riri also talked with her hands. Shuri sighed and laugh.
"I don't know. I'm nervous but also so curious about them." Riri nods. "That they are all here, coming from different countries. It's really special to me."
Riri laugh. "They get already a plus point from you!" Shuri nods and smiled. Riri and Shuri sees the first black car pulling up. "The first woman arrived! Good luck and I will see you at the patio of their villa!" Riri turns around and walked away, leaving Shuri alone.
Shuri breathed in and out, nervously. When the first woman arrived, wearing a beautiful gala dress. Shuri smiled kindly at her, she smiled back. There was a few wow moments on the women, and also a few awkward moments. Shuri also has received a few gifts.
It was finally your turn to walk down the red carpet. You are wearing a beautiful black gala dress that curved your body nicely, the dress also have sleeves that is a bit see through. You have matching stilettos on, your hair is in a low bun with a hairstring hanging in front of your face and your makeup is beautifully done as well. It's all perfect for the first impression.
The driver gives you a hand to help you out of the car. "Thank you." You smiled at the man and looked at Shuri who has already her eyes on you. You stepped on the red carpet and started to walk towards her.
Shuri smiled at the beautiful you. "Wow." Was her first reaction. You giggle and looked down and up at her when you are standing in front of her, you both give each other three kisses. "Good evening and welcome."
"Thank you, you look pretty." You complimented her. Seeing Shuri now with your bare eyes, makes you melt. First of all, Shuri is taller than you which you love the most and wished to be true. Second, she smells great and looks great. She's a beautiful woman to look at.
"Thank you, so are you." She says in a tone you like.
You both shook hands. "My name is y/n I'm twenty and I'm from Canada." Shuri hums in interest.
"Canada? How nice! My name is Shuri, nice to meet you y/n." You give her a little gift, it's inside a small bag. "Oh, what is this?" Shuri asks with a smile taking out a small bottle that is actually a little USB stick that is attached to a cork that looks like a message in a bottle but instead of paper, it's a USB stick.
You laugh a little, Shuri looked at you. "This probably is such an old thing here in Wakanda. But I download a few favorite songs on this USB stick." You bite your lip. Shuri laughs, finding it adorable and unique of you. "I hope you will take your time to listen to it."
"Yes, I will! Thank you so much." Shuri laugh and you both hugged. "This is so sweet, thank you. I will see you soon." She says kindly. It was time for you to go, so you took the steps toward the villa. Shuri looked at you and smiled, looking down at your gift.
There was a few more woman for Shuri to meet until everyone is complete and outside the patio of the house you and all the other candidates are going to stay. You all started to talk about the first impression of Shuri while having champagne together.
"Shuri is so beautiful, oh my God." One of the women says, everyone agreed. You took a sip of the alcohol.
"Shuri and I almost kissed, like what." You heard one of the woman talking to the other one. Her name is Emily and she's probably good friends already with the other woman named Abigail. "It was so awkward but so cute at the same time, our lips almost smashed!" They laughed and keep talking about how cute Shuri is.
You roll your eyes and looked away. "Did you also hear that?" Evie who is nice to you says, standing next to you. You nod. "So delusional." She whispered in your ear. You bite your lip, trying not to laugh. You looked around you, you could see that a few groups are formed from the candidates, you see one girl standing there alone. You and Evie decide to walk over to her to keep her company, her name is Mia.
"My first meeting with Shuri was so awkward, I tripped on my own dress and almost fell in front of her." Mia sighed touching her head. Evie laughed.
You smiled. "That's cute!" You say, trying to make it a positive experience for Mia. "Did Shuri laugh?"
"She pretty sure did!" Mia says taking a sip. "I heated up and I didn't know what to say anymore!"
"Y/n is right, this is the best! You almost fell on Shuri, it's a fairytale. The Panther saving you!" Evie says. The three of you laughed. One of the candidates walked over to you three, her name is Sofia.
"I knew Shuri was beautiful but I didn't know Shuri is sexy!" Sofia gasp. "Like I stutter all the way when she talked to me, I felt like fainting." She took a sip.
"You see, you are not the only one," Evie says to Mia. You smiled and listened to their stories.
Riri walked over to all the candidates, everyone is being silent. Looking at Shuri's best friend and the host of this program. "Welcome ladies to the beautiful Wakanda, where the magic happens." She says, making everyone laugh and cheer.
Riri looked at all of the candidates. "Alice, what was your first reaction when you saw the Bachelorette?" She questioned one of the candidates.
"She is so beautiful and tall!" Alice answer, making everyone agree, especially you. Riri laughs and nods.
"What about you, Chiara? Do you have the feeling that you made the right decision on showing up?" Riri asks.
Chiara smiled big. "Heck yes! Shuri is so my type!"
Riri smiled. "Great to hear! I assume that our Bachelorette is very thankful for you all being here. But let's invite her in! Ladies, your Bachelorette!" Riri stepped aside. All the hearts of the candidates make a jump when Shuri showed up standing next to Riri.
She looked at all of the candidates and smiled. "Good evening, ladies." Everyone greeted her at the same time. Shuri chuckled. "I knew how many of you are going to be here but to see you all standing here, is wow-." Shuri laughs touching her head. You laugh.
"What Riri said is true. I'm very thankful for you all being here, you all look very beautiful which makes it difficult for me where to start." Shuri says and sighed.
"But that's why I am here!" Riri says spreading her arms. "I have asked Shuri to do something." Riri looked at the candidates. "It's about the quotes each of you sends in to me." A few girls gasp shocked. Riri and Shuri smiled big. "Mhm, yes yes. Shuri needed to pick one quote she likes, so Shuri! Have you?"
Shuri nods. "It was a hard decision since I had a lot of quotes I liked. A few were funny and a few others romantic, but I choose the one that really speaks to me and that was, I am more powerful than I am damaged and I will rise from any abyss you drown me in." Shuri says. This wasn't your quote but it's beautiful.
"This really speaks to me and this is also something I have felt the past year since I'm wearing the mantel." Shuri smiled and bite her lip. Riri nods and smiled.
"Please, show yourself! From who is that quote?" Riri says and Evie raises her hand. Shuri smiled at Evie. You smiled at her as well, being happy for her. But also a little disappointed that Shuri didn't pick yours.
"Well, Evie, congratulations! Because Shuri choose your quote you are getting a white colored rose!" Riri handed over the white rose to Evie. "What the white rose is good for, is something you and all of you will find out later! Now, Shuri has the time to think about the first impressions of all of you." Riri looked at Shuri. "I want to know from you which first impression was the nicest," Riri asks Shuri.
Shuri nods and thought before she speaks. "The nice first impression I got of the night is that from, y/n. The old-fashioned USB stick is the only thing I could think about at the moment, it made me laugh. A lot." Shuri grinned at you. You giggled, and your heart made a happy jump. A few women looked a little jealous.
Riri smiled at you. "Congratulations, y/n! Because Shuri has picked you, you are receiving the first impression rose!" She handed you a pink rose. "What it means for you is that you and Shuri are having a date tomorrow morning before the group date starts," Riri explains. You gasp smiling big, the other candidates applauded for you. Shuri smiled at you.
"But for now, everyone has a good rest in your villa because tomorrow will start the first day of this program!" Riri says and looked at Shuri.
"Good night ladies, and y/n I look forward to seeing you at breakfast." Shuri smiled at you and walked away with Riri. You laugh and jumped happily with your group, Emily and Abigail looked jealous of you.
There are five bedrooms and bathrooms. You, Evie, Mia, and Sofia share the same bedroom. You all have a single bed. You unpacked everything and make yourself ready for bed just like the other girls. You placed the pink rose inside a vase on your bedside table and lie down on your comfortable bed.
"We already won!" Evie cheered while lying in her bed. Making you, Mia, and Sofia laugh.
