Although never confirmed as such, they're heavily implied to belong to Jesus. Hydro and Sam holds the grip of their swords, preparing for battle.

The fateful fight begins. Hydro starts running swiftly, taking on a ground attack, as Sam managed to dodge it. Sam and Hydro starts clashing their swords swiftly. Hydro performs Vergil and Dante's moves called, A Million Stabs. Sam perfectly managed to dodge it, and parries Hydro's sword.
SAM
Now THIS is a fight! Just you and me, Hydro. Get ready!
Hydro is shocked. Sam smiles and takes the moment to slash out Hydro's eye. but it managed to heal., but blood stains are still in it. Hydro managed to use both swords, from a Dragon Blade. Sam sees Hydro's scabbard, being familiar with it, and similar to the Blazing Night katana from Punishing: Gray Raven.

Hydro uses Migi to strike Sam. Sam does his best dodging and blocking it, but it's a pretty pathetic sight. Hydro uses Sandevistan and finally kicks Sam. After, A mysterious Item appeared on Hydro's left hand, holding it to pierce Sam, but it's a Scepter that stabbed Sam, apparently, The Holy Corpse was consumed from the Scepter of Darkness
