Extra gear: a backpack/satchel (interchanging straps), a few bear-traps (she found them, not reason not to take them), and a grappling hook with extra rope. Also has at least one lighter on her at all times.
Special attack: She can tame and temporarily "control" nearby animals to defend or attack herself and the group.
Skills: Animal tamer, but has also gotten good at parkour, climbing, sneaking, and insurance/agility due to animal influence. Can play any instrument you give her, and she's quick to learn even if she's never used it before, due to the forest requiring better hearing, she sings too but doesn't like to around people.
Backstory: She lived at the edge of the woods before the virus hit, having been left on a doorstep as a child with a strange scar on her right shoulder, supposedly being from an animal claw. She's always had a way with animals, and learned to survive in the wild from a young age. Her 'parents' weren't the best and often were distant, leaving her mainly to raise herself alongside the animals she learned to tame and befriend. After her parents died she stayed in their house at the edge of the woods, helping people to protect them from the wild animals of the deep forest and nearby mountain and guiding them on hikes or climbing expeditions. Then the virus hit, and she tried staying away from humanity as best she could to avoid catching it, becoming a pilgrim who flits from safe city to safe house, never really staying in one place very long.

Other?: she's very protective of her animals, and will protect them if she must, and she doesn't trust easily. Good night vision and she seems to gravitate toward caves, water sources, or dense forestry. Even with no other means of navigation she can always pick out north/south/east/west. Despite enjoying alone time in natural areas, she can never shake her deep interest (or infatuation?) for fire...
