"He's starting to look like you."
Minho chuckled as he rocked
the baby car seat gently, making
the tiny stars on the mobile
swing and twirl.
Their little son gurgled happily
and reached his small hands out
to grab onto the sparkling silver
moon above him, his big feline
eyes shining so prettily.
"Because of his cheeks?"
"Mhm. And he got your nose,
it's not as sharp as mine."
"I'm still glad he took a lot after you,
he's such a handsome little bean."
Jisung was too focused on the book
in his lap and didn't notice how his
boyfriend was staring at him with
the fondest smile on his face.
But he did when he suddenly looked
up to check on his squealing son.
"Min~
Stop staring.
Look at the bub,
he's collecting stars.
That's much more interesting
than watching me read."
But the brunette shook his head softly.
"I love watching you, Sungie.
You're beautiful, how can I not?
And I can look at Sujinnie later,
he's with me 24/7 but I
rarely see you…"
Even though it was a simple
compliment, to both Minho and
Jisung it meant so much more.
The small ravenette was slowly
doing better but it was a long process,
especially since his body was still
working on getting in a shape Jisung
felt actually comfortable with.
The huge surgery scar was healing
well but it was there on his still
chubby tummy he hated so much.
But he had Minho by his side
who loved him, no matter what.
"Rarely? We meet up almost
every day, weirdo."
Sujin squeaked in agreement
before he looked at his daddy,
his hand now reaching out to him.
"What's wrong, bub?
You want cuddles?"
The tiny boy whined softly and
furrowed his eyebrows as he got
picked up by his dad but when
Minho placed a gentle kiss on his
chubby cheek, he sighed cutely.
"You have such a hard life, little bub.
I know, daddy knows. Is it time
for lunch already? Is that why
you're unhappy, hm?"
Jisung couldn't help but smile softly
at the cute sight, his boyfriend
was truly a great dad.
Sujin always looked so happy and
comfortable in his father's arms.
"Do you want to feed him?"
"Huh?"
But Minho only giggled at the
younger's 'squirrel-in-headlights'
face before he stood up so he could
kneel down beside him.
"Hold him like this so you
support his head. He might
squirm a bit but that's fine,
he's not uncomfortable or
hurting. Just hold him tight,
he won't break or anything"
The brunette chuckled and pecked
his son's button nose before he
placed him in his papa's arms.
Sujin stared up at his parents with
big wondering eyes before he grabbed
his papa's shirt, tugging on it gently.
"Hi bub. Your daddy will get
your bottle now, can you stay
with me for a moment? Hm?
You're cute, you know?"
Jisung booped his son's nose,
his smile widening when the
tiny boy scrunched his face.
"You're cute just like your daddy."
The whole scene might
seem a bit odd.
A young couple sitting on the
wooden floor of the old library
in the fantasy section, hidden
between the shelves and while
Jisung was busy babbling to
their baby, Minho rummaged
in his bag for his son's
bottle of milk.
It's been six months since Sujin's
birth and thanks to his boyfriend
Jisung had warmed up quite a bit to
his new role as papa of a tiny human.
He had finally accepted that he
had a child and he was more
than thankful to have Minho
as his boyfriend to help him
adjust to these changes.
He was so patient with the small
ravenette and no matter what,
he always gave his best to
understand Jisung.
"Here's the milk, just hold it
so he won't swallow any air."
Jisung nodded softly before he
placed the teat of the bottle between
his son's lips, a smile growing on
his face when Sujin immediately
started to suckle softly.
"I love how he always closes
his eyes when he drinks.
As if he's drinking the yummiest
thing ever. And his cheeks get puffy,
just like yours. Two tiny squirrels."
Jisung giggled shyly when Minho
sat down beside him and
pecked his cheek.
"He's so cute, Min.
Because he looks like you.
You're cute too."
"Papa! Daddy!"
Sujin giggled loudly as he stumbled
to his parents as fast as his little
legs could carry him.
"Hey tiny bub!
Daddy missed you so much"
Minho cooed as he picked their
small son up and smooched his
chubby cheek gently.
"Did you have a good day, Sujinnie?"
The tiny boy leaned over to kiss
his papa's cheek and giggled when
Jisung returned that gesture.
"Yes! But I miss papa and daddy."
"We missed you too, bub.
Shall we go to grandma now?
She said she'd make dumplings
for dinner."
"Yes, yes! Dunlings!"
Minho chuckled softly at his
son's cute lisp and placed another
peck on his chubby cheek.
Sujin was almost two years old
now and one of the happiest children
Minho has ever met.
The small boy would giggle and
laugh most of the day about
the smallest things, he was
just a little sunshine.
And he loved living with
both his parents.
Jisung and Minho had moved in
their own apartment a bit before
their son's first birthday so they
could spend it together and it
was safe to say that Sujin got a
lot more cuddles ever since then.
The best mornings were the ones
on weekends where they had the
time to have some morning cuddles
without needing to go anywhere.
Their little boy would snuggle
himself between his papa and daddy,
his arm often wrapped around his cat
plushie as he babbled to himself.
And his parents would listen
with sparkling eyes, totally
whipped for their small bub.
Minho carefully took his boyfriend's
hand in his as they made their way
to the bus stop and only gave the
younger male a reassuring smile
when Jisung looked at him shyly.
"Daddy?"
"Hm?"
"Wove you and papa.."
"Oh bub, we love you so much too.
Very very much."
The ravenette nodded in
agreement before he kissed
his son's chubby cheek.
"More than you know, Sujinnie."
One day he'd eventually asked
how it was when he was born.
One day he'd ask why he was still
smaller and weaker than kids his age.
And one day Jisung and Minho
would be ready to tell their son
the truth.
